I look inside myself and see what is inside me, the flexible remains intact, the bent becomes straight, the empty becomes filled, the exhausted becomes straight. The poor are renewed, the rich are enriched, the rich are confused, that is why the wise man embraces the one because he does not show himself. People can see his light because he has nothing to prove. People can trust his foreign word because he does not know who he is. People recognize them. himself in it because he has no goal in mind everything he does is successful the old saying that the flexible remain intact is surely correct if you have truly achieved plenitude everything will come to you to speak little is natural Fierce winds do not blow in All morning downpour of rain does not last the day whoever makes this Heaven and Earth but these are exaggerated forced effects and that is why they cannot be sustained.
If Heaven and Earth cannot sustain a forced action, how much less can man do it those who follow the path become one with the path those who follow goodness become one with goodness those who stray from the path and goodness become one with failure if you conform to the way its power flows through you your actions become those of nature your ways those of Heaven open yourself to the Dao and trust your natural responses then everything will fall into place if you stand on your tiptoes you cannot stand firm if you take long steps you cannot walk very far does not reveal enlightenment boasting He who is moralistic will not produce achievements He who is moralistic is not respected He who boasts will not endure All these ways of acting are hateful and unpleasant They are superfluous Excessive They are like a pain in the stomach A tumor in the body when you walk the path of the Dao They do precisely the things that must be torn away and discarded and left behind good morning foreigner there was something formless and perfect before it was born the universe is serene void solitary unchanging infinite eternally present it is the mother of the universe for lack of a better name I call it the Dao I call it great great is unlimited unlimited flows eternally flows constantly constantly returns oh strange way is great The sky is great The earth is great the people are great so to know Humanity understands the Earth to know the Earth understands the sky to know Heaven understands the path to know the path understand the great within yourself the heavy is the root of light the still is the master of restlessness realizing this the successful person is balanced and centered in the midst of all activities even though he is surrounded by opulence does not let itself go why should the lord of the country flutter like a fool if you let it go you lose contact with your root to be restless is to lose control of yourself alien ER of the truth travels without a trace speaks without causing harm gives Without keeping count, the door closes, although since it does not have a lock, the knot that binds cannot be opened, even if no rope is used, it cannot be undone.
Be wise and help all beings, abandoning them impartially, none of them, waste any opportunity, this is called following the light, what is a good man but a bad man's teacher what is a bad man but a good man's work if the teacher is not respected and the student does not care, confusion will arise no matter how intelligent he is this is the great secret know the strength of man but maintain the care of a woman be a valley under the sky if you do the constant virtue will not fade one will become like a child again know the white stayin the black and to be the patron of the world to be the patron of the world is to move constantly on the path of virtue without taking a single step and to return again to the infinite he who understands the Splendor while clinging to humility acts in accordance with the power eternal to be the Source of the world is to live the Abundant Life of virtue when the formless is transformed into objects its original qualities are lost if you preserve your original qualities you can truly govern anything the best Governor governs at least do you think you can take over the universe and improve it?
I don't believe that everything can be done under Heaven is a sacred vessel and cannot be controlled trying to control leads to ruin trying to grasp we lose allow your life to develop naturally, it is also a vessel of perfection, just as you inhale and exhale, There is a time to be ahead and a time to be behind, a time to be in motion and a time to be at rest, a time to be vigorous and a time to be exhausted, a time to be safe and a time to be in danger. The wise man's entire life is a movement towards Perfection, so what need does he have for the excessive, the extravagant or the extreme?
Thank you, thank you, foreigner, who would? guiding a leader of men in the ways of life will warn him against using weapons for Conquest weapons often turn against the bearer where armies are based nature offers nothing but brambles and thorns after they are has fought a great battle the earth is cursed the crops fail the earth lies the script of her motherhood after you have achieved your purpose you must not boast of your success you must not boast of your ability you must not feel proud rather we must regret that you do not have you been able to avoid the war you should never think of conquer others by force everything that strives with force will soon decay is not in tune with the way its end comes too soon Weapons are tools of violence, all decent men detest them, therefore followers of the Tao never use them.
Weapons serve evil ones, they are the tools of those who oppose wise government, use them only as a last resort for peace and security. tranquility, they are the most dear to the heart of the decent man and for him, even a victory is not a reason for rejoicing, whoever thinks that victory is beautiful, has will. to kill and someone with the will to kill will never prevail in the world it is a good sign when the higher nature of man presents itself a bad sign when his lower nature presents itself with the slaughter of multitudes we have pain and sadness every victory is a funeral when you win a war you celebrate it in the morning foreigner thanks to the Eternal dial it has no name although simple and subtle no one in the world can Master it if the Kings and Lords could control them the ten thousand things would obey naturally Heaven and Earth would Rejoice with the dripping of the sweet dew everyone would live in harmony not by official decree but by their own goodness once the hole is divided The parts need a name there are enough names no one to stop no reason sets limits to avoid Danger rivers and streams are born the ocean and all creation is born from the Dao just as all water flows backwards to become the ocean all creation flows backwards and becomes doubt strange he who understands others has knowledge he who understands himself has wisdom mastering others requires Strength to dominate oneself needs strength if you realize that you have enough you are truly rich he who dedicates himself to his position surely lives long he who dedicates himself to the doll surely lives forever the great path is universal it can be applied to the left or to the right Right, all beings depend on him for life, yet he does not take possession of them.
He fulfills his purpose but does not claim for himself. He covers all creatures like the sky, but he does not name them. All things return to him as if they were their home, but he does not dominate them. Thus he can be called great Sage imitates this behavior by not claiming greatness Sage achieves greatness all men will come to him who adheres to him and receives no harm or in him they find peace, security and happiness thanks to music and foreign dinners they are fleeting pleasures but they make let people stop how insipid and tasteless the things of this world are when one compares them with the Dao when you seek it there is nothing to see when you listen to it there is nothing to listen to when you use it you cannot be exhausted if you want to contain something, you must deliberately let it expand if you want to weaken something, you must deliberately let it grow strong if you want to eliminate something, you must deliberately allow it to flourish if you want to remove something, you must deliberately allow access granted foreigner hello the lesson here is called the wisdom of darkness the gentle survives to the strong the dark survives the obvious the fish cannot come out of the deep waters and the weapons of a country must not be displayed the Dow does nothing but leaves nothing undone if powerful men could focus on it the whole world would would transform itself into its natural rhythms when life is simple pretensions Our essential Natures fall shine by not wanting there is calm and the world will right itself when there is silence one finds within the anchor of the universe oneself thanks a truly good man is not aware of his goodness and therefore he is good a foolish man tries to be good and therefore he is not good the teacher does nothing but leaves nothing undone the common man is always doing things but there are many more to do virtue more highest is to act without sense of self the highest goodness is to give without conditions the highest justice is to see without preference when the Dow is lost there is goodness when the goodness is lost there is morality when the morality is lost there This ritual ritual is the shell of the true Faith the beginning of Chaos the Great Master follows his own nature and not the traps of life it is said that he keeps the fruit and not the fluff he keeps the firm and not the weak he keeps the true and the false does not stop laughing these things of antiquity arise from one the sky is whole and clear the earth is whole and firm the spirit is whole and full the ten thousand things are whole and the country is upright all this is by virtue of fullness when man interferes with the Dao the sky becomes dirty the earth is exhausted the balance crumbles the creatures become extinct thank you foreigner thank you therefore nobility is rooted in humility haughtiness is based on humility that is why the noble people refer to themselves as the only ones lacking and unworthy the parts of a car are useless unless they function in accordance with the whole a man's life contributes nothing unless he lives in accordance with the whole universe play once part according to the universe is true foreign humility thank you truly too much honor does not mean honor it is not wise to shine like Jade and ring like stone bells to return is the movement of the Dao to yield is the path of the Dao the ten thousand things are born from being are born not being a great scholar hears about the Dao and begins diligent practice a mediocre scholar hears about the Dao and retains something and loses something an inferior scholar hears about the Dao and roars with ridicule without that laughter there would be no doubt, so there are sayings constructive about this the path of Enlightenment seems dark in the future it seems a retreat the easy path seems difficult true power seems weak true purity seems tarnished true clarity seems dark the greatest art seems unsophisticated the greatest love seems indifferent the greatest wisdom seems childish a Dao is hidden and nameless but you alone nourish and bring everything to its fullness the dial gave birth to one one gave birth to two two gave birth to three the three begat the ten thousand things the ten a thousand things carry yin and embrace yang achieve harmony by combining these forces people suffer at the thought of being left without parents without food or worthless still this is the way Kings and Lords once described themselves because one wins by losing and loses by winning what others taught I teach the violent not to die of natural death this is my fundamental tea

the softest of all things nullifies the The most difficult of all things is that without substance it enters where there is no space , that is why I know the value of teaching without action, without words, doing without actions, you in the world can understand it, that is the way of the Master.
In fact, rare are those who reap the rewards of this. world that means more to you you or your reputation that brings more to you or what you possess I say what you gain is more trouble than what you lose love is the fruit of sacrifice wealth is the fruit of generosity the happy man is never He who knows how to stop is disappointed, he is preserved from danger only in this way can he endure the law foreign graces the greatest Perfection seems imperfect and yet its use is inexhaustible the greatest plenitude seems empty and yet its use is endless the great righteousness seems Twisted the great intelligence seems stupid great eloquence seems uncomfortable great truth seems false great discussions seem silent activity overcomes the cold inactivity overcomes the heat Stillness and tranquility put things in order in the universe the world has the shape of running horses they retire to plow the fields The world lacks the way war horses are raised in the field there is no greater loss than losing the dial there is no greater curse than greed about a tragedy greater than discontent the worst of errors is wanting more always satisfaction alone is enough in fact the Bliss of Eternity can be found in your satisfaction without having to go out the door know the world without looking out the window you can see the ways of Heaven the further away one he goes less he knows the foreign therefore the wise man does not venture and yet he knows he does not look and yet the names do not strive and yet he reaches plenitude learning consists of the daily accumulated practice of the dial consists of daily diminishing diminishing and diminishing until nothing is done when nothing is done nothing is left undone through mastery began by letting things go their own way you cannot win by interfering the wise man does not have a fixed mind he is aware of the needs of others who are good he treats those who are bad with kindness he also treats them with kindness because the nature of his being is good okay I don't know he is kind he is also kind to the unpleasant because the nature of his being is kindness he is faithful to the faithful He is also faithful to the unbelievers.
The wise man lives in harmony with everyone under heaven. He sees everything as himself. He loves everyone as his own child. All people are attracted to him. He behaves like a little child between birth and death 3 out of 10 are followers of life 3 out of 10 are followers of death and men who simply pass from birth to death are also three out of ten. Why is this so? Because they cling to life and they cling to this passing world, but there is one in ten who say they are so sure of life that tigers and wild bulls keep their weapons clear, they turn their backs on the battlefield, rhinos have no place for horns Tigers find no place for claws and soldiers have no place to stick their swords why is it so because he dwells in that place where death cannot enter thanks foreigners and you will witness the end without finishing the path connects to all living beings with their Source arise into existence unconscious perfect free and take on a physical body we complete the circumstances therefore all beings honor the path and value their virtue they have not been commanded to worship the Tao and pay homage to Virtue but they always do it spontaneously the dial gives them life virtue nourishes them and nourishes them raises them and protects them and protects them outside the Dow Encourages growth without governing this is called hidden virtue everything under heaven has a common beginning this beginning is the mother of the world having known the mother we can proceed to know her children having known the children we must return and cling to the foreign mother keep your mouth closed guard your senses and life is always open, your mouth, you will always be busy and life It is beyond all hope.
Seeing the small is called clarity. Staying flexible is called strength. Using The Shining Radiance, you return to the light again and save yourself misfortune. This is called the practice of Eternal Light. I have even a little feeling that I should walk the great path and my only fear would be to stray. The great road is very smooth and straight and yet people prefer crooked paths, that is why the court is corrupt, the fields are deserted, the granaries. they are empty dressing magnificently carrying a sharp sword gorging themselves on food and drink amassing wealth to the point of not knowing what to do with it is being like a thief I say this bomb at the expense of others it is like the boasting of thieves after evading this no it is the Dao whoever is planted in the Dow will not be uprooted whoever embraces the dial will not escape Generations honor Generations infinitely cultivated in the self virtue is realized cultivated in the family virtue overflows cultivated in the community virtue increases cultivated in the state virtue abounds the Dao is everywhere it has been it has become everything to see it truly see it as it is in a person see it as aperson in a family see it as a family in a country see it as a country in the world see it As a world, how do I know this is true by looking inside myself?
He who is in harmony with the Dao is like a newborn child. Deadly insects won't bite you. Wild beasts will not attack him. Birds of prey won't hit it. Bones are weak muscles. they are soft but their grip is firm he has not experienced the union of a man and a woman but all his manhood is strong he shouts all day without becoming hoarse this is perfect harmony for no one Harmony is knowing the immutable knowing the immutable is having intuition about things in harmony with the Dao they remain things that are forced to grow for a while but then wither away this is not the Dao and everything that is against the Dao soon ceases to be those who know do not speak those who speak do not know block all the passages close your mouth cordon off your senses dull your sharpness untie your nuts soften your radiance settle your dust this is Primordial Union or the secret embraces the one who knows this secret does not allow himself to be moved by attachment or aversion thanks another for gains or losses or touched by Honor or disgrace, he is far beyond the concerns of men, he comes to occupy the dearest place in their hearts, therefore, this is the highest state of man, if you want to be a great leader, you must learn to follow the dial, stop trying to control, thank you.
Let go of fixed plans and concepts and the world will rule itself, how do I know this is so? Because in this world, the greater the restrictions and prohibitions, the more people become impoverished, the more advanced the weapons of the state, the darker the nation, the more ingenious and cunning the plan, the stranger the result, the more laws are published, the more thieves appear. Therefore, the wise man says: I take no action and the people reform. I enjoy the peace and the people become honest. I do nothing and people get rich. If I avoid imposing myself on people, they themselves become strangers.
ER knows his heart. People are simple and pure when he interferes in their lives, they become restless and disturbed. Bad fortune is what good fortune relies on. Good fortune is what bad fortune hides in. Who knows the final outcome of this process? Is there no standard of what is correct? However, what is normal soon becomes abnormal. thank you for a long time for that the master is content to serve as an example and not impose his will is pointed but does not pierce straightens but does not disturb illuminates but does not dazzle alien in the government of the people and in the service of nature nothing surpasses the thrift and moderation moderation begins with the abandonment of one's ideas this depends on the virtue accumulated in the past if there is a good reserve of virtue then nothing is impossible if nothing is impossible Then there are no limits if a man knows no limits, that is fit to lead the way of being deeply rooted and firmly planted in the Dao The secret of long life and lasting vision governing a large country is like frying a small fish, if you spoil it if you poke too much, approach the universe with the Dao and evil will have no power, it is not like that. evil is not powerful but its power will not be used to harm others not only will it not harm others but the wise man himself will also be protected with only the ruler and his people would heartily abstain all the benefits of life would accrue to the foreign kingdom thank you thank you a great country is like the low land into which all the streams flow it is the reservoir of all that is under Heaven the feminine of the world the woman surpasses the masculine with Stillness as she descends through its stillness so that if a large country lowers itself before a small one, it gains friendship and trust.
And if a small country can lower itself before a big one, it will conquer that big country. One gains by lowering the other by staying low. The Dao is the House of Treasure, the true one. Nature, the secret source of everything, is the Treasure of the good man and the Refuge of the evil. If a person seems Evil, do not wake him up, wake him up with your words. Elevate him with your Deeds. Pay his damage with your court. Do not throw him away. Throw him away. Throw away his evil, therefore. Therefore, when a new leader is chosen, do not offer to help him with your wealth or your experience.
Help him meditate in the beginning. Offer him instead of teaching him about the Dao. Why did the Ancients place so much importance on the beginning? Is it not because it is the source of all good and the remedy for all evil? It is the noblest thing in the world. OK. Foreign. Foreign. Foreign practice. Be careful to see Simplicity in the complicated Achieve greatness in small things Take on difficulties while they are still easy Do great things while they are still small The wise man does not attempt anything too great and thus achieves greatness If you accept too easily you will not be trustworthy because the wise man always faces difficulties never experiences them what is at rest is easily handled but not yet manifested is easy to prevent what is fragile breaks easily what is small is easily dispersed strangers exist strangers manage them before there is disorder remember a tree that fills the embrace of a man grows from a tower of seedlings nine stories high begins with a brick a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step act and destroy it grab it and lose it The wise man does not act and therefore is not defeated he does not grasp and therefore does not lose people generally fail when they are on the verge of success so put as much care at the end as at the beginning then there will be no failure the wise man does not hoard what is difficult to achieve he does not collect precious things he learns not to cling to ideas he helps the ten thousand things to find their own nature but do not dare to carry them by the nose the ancients were simple at heart and mixed with the common people they did not shine they did not rule with cunning so the nation was blessed when they think they know the answers.
It's hard to guide people when they know you don't know them. People can find their own way. Not using cunning to govern a country is good fortune for the country. The simplest pattern is the clearest content with an ordinary life you can show all people the way back to their true nature why it is the King of the Sea of a hundred streams because it lies beneath them humility gives it its power by Therefore those who desire a position above others must speak with humility those who desire to lead must continue to do so. When a wise man is above the people, they do not feel the weight of his weight and when he is in front of the People, they don't feel hurt.
The wise man remains low so that the world never tires of exalting him. He remains a servant so that the world will never tire of making him its king. Everyone speaks of my Dao with such familiarity. What Folly the Dow is not something that is found on the market or passed down from parents to children. It is not something that is gained by knowing or that is lost. by forgetting whether that hour like this would have been lost and forgotten a long time ago I have three Treasures that I keep and observe closely the first is Mercy the second is frugality the third is humility because from frugality comes courage comes the generosity of humility leadership now if one were bold but had no mercy if one were broad but not frugal if one continued forward without humility one would die love defeats all attackers it is impregnable in defense When heaven wants to protect someone it sends an army it does not protect it with foreign love ER is not violent a good fighter is not angry good winners do not compete good employers serve their workers the best leader follows the will of the people they all embody the virtue of non-competition this is called The Virtue of non-competition -holding that this is called employing the power of others this since ancient times has been known as the ultimate unity with heaven there is a saying among soldiers I do not dare to take the first step, but rather I prefer to play the role of guest I do not I dare to advance even one centimeter, but I would rather withdraw one foot.
This is called advancing without advancing, pushing back without using weapons. There is no greater misfortune than feeling that I have an enemy because when I and the enemy exist together there is no space left. for my treasure, so when two opponents meet the one without it, an enemy will surely triumph when the armies are equal, the one who has compassion wins. My teachings are very easy to understand and very easy to practice, but very few in this world understand them and are able to practice. My words have an ancestor, my deeds have a lord, people have no knowledge of this, therefore, they have no knowledge of me, that is why the wise man dresses simply even though his insides are full of precious gems knowing that ignorance is strength ignoring knowledge is disease only when we are fed up with our illness will we cease to be sick The wise man is not sick but is fed up with illness this is the secret of health when people lack a sense of wonder it will be a disaster when people do not fear worldly power a greater power will come do not limit the vision of yourself do not do it despise the conditions of your birth do not resist the natural course of your life in this way you will never get tired of this world that is why the wise man knows himself but does not show himself loves himself but does not exalt himself prefers what is within to what is within is without bold action against others leads to death bold action in harmony with the Dao leads to death life both things sometimes benefit and sometimes harm is Heaven's way of conquering without effort does not speak but receives an answer yet does not ask has everything he needs is not in a hurry but completes everything in time Heaven's net catches all its mesh is coarse but nothing escapes if you realize that all things change there is nothing you will try to hold on to if you are not afraid to die there is nothing you cannot achieve there is always a lord of death who takes the place of the lord of death is like someone who cuts with a master carpenter's blade who cuts with a master carpenter's blade is safe to cut his hands when taxes are too high people go hungry when the government is too intrusive people lose their spirit act to the benefit of the people trust them leave them alone worth verse 76 of the Dao of ching a man is born gentle and weak in his death he is hard and rigid all things, including grass and trees, are soft and flexible in life dry and brittle in death rigidity is, therefore, a companion of death flexibility a companion of life an army that cannot yield will be defeated a tree that cannot bend will break with the wind the hard and rigid will break the soft and flexible the way of Heaven will prevail it is like drawing a bow the high is lowered the low is raised when there is surplus it is reduced when it is deficient it increases the Dao of humanity it is the opposite: reduce the deficiency to increase the surplus, despoil the needy to serve those who have too much, only he who has the Dao offers his surplus to others, what man has more than enough and gives to the world.
Only the man of the you the teacher can continue giving because there is no end for him he also acts without expectations he succeeds without taking credit and does not think that he is better than anyone nothing in the world is softer and weaker than water except to attack what hard the unbreakable nothing can surpass it there is nothing equal the weak surpasses the straw the soft surpasses the heart in the whole world there is no one who does not know this but no one can Master the practice that is why the teacher remains Serene in the midst of Pain evil does not can enter his heart because he has stopped helping he is the greatest help to people true words appear paradoxical after a bitter fight some resentment remains what can be done about it?
Being content with what one has is always better in the end someone must take the risk. Returning harm with kindness or hostility will never resort to Good Will, so the wise man always gives without expecting gratitude. One with true virtue always looks for a way to give. One who lacks true virtue always looks for a way to get there. The Giver reaches the fullness of life by taking only an empty hand oh foreigner with few people they have weapons and do not use them they enjoy the work of their hands and do not waste time inventing machines that save labor they take death seriously and do not travel far because they dearly love their homes they are not interested in traveling although they have boats and carriages no one uses them they are content with healthy food they are pleased with useful clothing satisfied and comfortable homes and protective of their way of life although they live in sight of their neighbors and dogs who sing and bark are heard on the other side of the road are left alone while they age and die true words are not beautiful beautiful words are not true good men are not those who argue are not good those who have virtue do not look for faults those who They look because faults have no virtue.
The wise do not accumulate anything but give everything to others, having more the more they give. Heaven does good to all, doing no harm to anyone. The wise man imitates him by acting for the good of all and not opposing. to nobody
