As I click, I realize at a certain point that for me, in order to get into the Flow State, when I lived at my parents' house, the house was too chaotic, it was too messy, and I had to drive to a Starbucks. putting on noise canceling headphones, I'd have to put on a certain Lo-Fi playlist and even things like this, there are triggers you can create like chewing gum before playing a game of rugby and I wanted to put myself more in that flow state. Now the sixth habit here on my list is learning a high income skill. Now there are skills like video editing, writing, graphic design and online marketing that are invaluable in today's business world as an example, when I first entered the world of YouTube, I had no experience in this, many people always He thought I went to school, like you know, video editing, travel journalism, I mean, I've heard it.
I actually went to criminal justice school thinking that one day I wanted to be a detective and be like an FBI or CIA agent. I always thought this was all great. The knowledge and skills that I learned came from the Internet and came from the act of doing it first and if I was able to do it with just the Internet and zero dollars in my pocket, this is something that I know you all have access to too, whether it's editing these videos from scratch or doing graphic designs for thumbnails or just the ins and outs of videography, like knowing audio.

Habit number eight this year is huge and this is journaling and I found that journaling was essential to staying consistent. with all the habits I had, not only that but journaling has allowed me to stay motivated because I could track my progress, I could plan what I want and make sure I'm moving towards that goal and last but not least , journaling allowed me to relieve so much stress in all the times when I felt overwhelmed, this is because the simple act of getting your mind and thoughts on a piece of paper, there really is a lot of power in that and just do it with a clear head.
It allowed me to focus on some of the other habits that have allowed me to be successful journaling doesn't take a lot of time, it can literally be five to ten minutes of your day and if you don't want to journal with a sheet of paper and a pen , you can also do this on your phone within the notes section or there are lots of little apps where you can log into a daily reflection.
