Lily rejects that she doesn't really like children and says something like the only babies I'll take care of are them, which means that Petunia refuses to accept this and she stays. harassing us all to take care of the kids because the lily

family

flat out tells her you're not my family, you're just my stepdad's daughter, you can't get that card from me, I said no and I mean it, we think that's the one the end because, now no one wants to babysit, which leads to ranting on Facebook about how we're ruining their life and preventing them from enjoying their youth because we're being so selfish again.

This is ignored, but not for long. Two days ago, Petunia showed up at the house saying she wanted to talk to Dad, he was busy and no one else was home, so we told her to wait in the living room because he would only be gone for a few minutes, apparently this was enough time. for Petunia to grab my sister's cat and go out, my dad said he came back and was surprised that she was gone, but he didn't listen to him, my mom and sister came back home and an hour later when my dad mentioned the visit, everyone thought it was strange.

An hour later, I got home and my sister. she's frantically looking for her

cats

, they're supposed to come out when Petunia came, she let them out and we're looking around the trees and calling for the furballs, my sister is having a full on panic attack and my dad ends up calling an ambulance because she fainted my sister has a lot of anxiety my sister ends up in the hospital and my mom stays with her and my dad keeps looking for the cats I keep in touch with my mom by text message and she lets me know that my sister is being admitted In observation, my dad and I are frantic because we know that if we don't find the cats or, worse, we find them dead, my sister may go downhill, but we were lucky, since not long after we had almost given up hope .
We received a call from my older brother. It turns out that Petunia had taken the cats to the humane society where he worked and claimed that the cats should be euthanized immediately. He didn't see Petunia hand them over because she was in the back, but he recognized the fluff balls and was able to get my dad to come down and claim ownership of the cats. Now my dad is working to file a lawsuit in a police case for the stolen property and the damage this caused to my sister sitting on the cake was when my dad texted petunia to ask her why he did it .
Her claim was because now Lily can babysit without worrying about those horrible creatures and then she added a smiley face at the end, someone asked if there was ever anything about why Petunia's mom and her stepfather abandoned her at the operator's house in the first place, It was all so she could take a stupid vacation, the operator's response was essentially that they dropped her off with the intention of leaving her there for the summer a month later. It was an update, I'll update it as more happens, but since so many people were asking for an update, I figure I left you all in limbo long enough to have something worth posting, number one, my sister is back at home, yes, the doctors had to do it.
I ran a ton of tests, including stress tests, blood tests, ECGs, etc., and told my parents that stress caused something called broken heart syndrome. My sister is taking medication for now while she is in the hospital and she will be monitored from time to time to make sure she is not. It won't happen again, my dad asked if this could have killed her and the doctor basically said yes, she was very close to a heart attack which is scary in itself. Petunia number two has been arrested. My dad filed a report stating everything she had done and while this is super satisfying, it gets better: they issued an arrest warrant for her because of the robbery, but also because she was apparently on probation for driving under the influence. alcohol and, guess what people, she had a ticket in Italy in her bag that she was leading to the officers. safely assume that she was trying to flee the country which also goes against her parole, not only that but my brother was able to go back to the humane society and get the sign in sheet for the day she turned in the cats and signed with my sister's name. so now we are looking at a possible case of fraud, assuming it has not yet been proven.
Number three, a restraining order has been put in place and all members of my immediate family have been placed so that he cannot contact any of us in the near future number four, his mother and stepfather are threatening to sue us for harassment , since it is apparently our fault that she is now detained. number five, all forms of social media that me and my parents siblings use have been blocked or completely deleted because I don't really trust her or her parents not to try to sneak in using fake accounts, so in a year there will be an update .
I won't give details because the case is ongoing, but Petunia faces additional charges as well as her parents' number. one they have lost custody of the baby who has been taken by the father and his parents number two we have had to move due to harassment and attacks by petunia flying monkeys number three my sister is currently taking several medications for anxiety depression and mood disorder PTSD from all of this and is terrified to leave the house now that she is in therapy and seems to be doing better, but is struggling. I know it's not the happy ending everyone wanted but it is what it is we're just taking this one day at a time so I'm an idiot so before the whole cat thing happened I really had feelings for petunia because she didn't ask to be born in this situation where her biological father was giving his genetic donation to his best friend so that she could be his best friend's daughter, but then he dies, so she didn't even get to be know him.
I think that position would be difficult for anyone in general and I think she is probably motivated by trying to reconnect with her biological family, at least the father, because he is directly related to her, but she is just inserting herself into the situation through of intimidation instead of trying to do it in a gentler way, as the operator perceived when he came to spend that first summer. It made everyone miserable because Petunia was pointing out all the things she was used to, but maybe Petunia sees that as she tries to recount her experiences and find some way to bond over anything when in reality they have nothing in common and then three years.
Later, when she returns with the baby, it seems like she just wants the baby to be the connection between her and that side of the family, which probably made a lot of sense in her mind because she's thinking this is a huge milestone in my life. Of course, my biological half, my family, will want to share this with me, but the way it came out is like she was just trying to leave her son with them the same way they left her three years before, obviously, which throws the father. One loop is that the agreement she had with her friend was that she not get involved because she was already with the mother and had Lily in the photo and the friend agreed to that but couldn't fulfill that agreement because she died like that.
If the story was just that I would honestly feel a little bad for Petunia because she didn't make any of those decisions, she didn't do any of that, she was just trying her best to do what she knew how to do, but that all changed when she misunderstood. intentionally what Lily said about the only babies I will care for, i.e. cats, and then try to solve the problem by euthanizing her cats. That's a deranged solution if she can be called that and then. She just disappears and doesn't say anything to anyone until they are the ones who find out through the human society center, so maybe that was her very dark way of retaliating against this whole situation she's had to go through all this time. his life and that no one can.
I can relate, but come on, you don't have to take it out on cats, so if it were you in this situation and someone did this to your cats, how would you handle it all? Let me know below. Am I the idiot for not giving my Sports Cards back to my dad after I found out how much they are worth. I'm a 19-year-old man and I was given my dad's sports card collection for my 18th birthday. He had boxes of them from when I was a kid. I started. In researching how I could rate them, I finally sent the best ones a few months ago and got them back last week.
I was happy to see how well some of them rated. I researched what these cards would be used for and my jaw dropped. This money would help me pay for college and I would still have a decent amount left. I was visiting my parents and my dad mentioned something about those cards. I made the mistake of saying how much some of these cards were worth. He did not have. Great reaction that night, the next day I received a long text message from my dad saying that he would give it some thought and that he wanted his cards back.
The money would help him and my mom pay for their dream vacation. I thought it was a joke but he was serious I told him I was sorry but they were a gift and I intended to use this money for college ever since then I have been receiving hurtful text messages from my parents saying how selfish I am and what an idiot I am. I am for wanting to. I sold these cards because they were a gift even though they would do the same if I returned them. I was planning on giving my dad a cool gift for his birthday with some of my money, but I'm starting to think that's not the case.
I don't deserve anything at all before you decide idiot or not idiot there is an update first of all thanks to the people who say that I am not the idiot there were some people who said that everyone was an idiot and some people said that I specifically was the idiot , but thanks for the input, I didn't want to lose my relationship with my parents because of this, so I decided to commit. My idea was to keep the cards and handle the sales myself, however, I would communicate each sale with my parents. and reach a fair distribution to pay for university and vacations.
I told my parents that we could meet on Monday and discuss this whole situation. Unfortunately, they continue to harass me in the days leading up to our talk, apparently having to work at my mother's business. The day was just an excuse to avoid talking to them about the letters when we met. I was pretty tired of their nonsense. I might be the idiot for this, but I decided to put them to the test. I lied and told them they could keep the cards. If they paid me the cost of qualifying them, when I told them the price of how much it cost to qualify them, they did not believe me, they accused me of lying to get more money from this, I realized that this was the case.
It was not worth proving it, they wanted everything and there was no commitment that do. I told them not to contact me again and that I would only be there to see my brother and go to other family events, that's how it went. I'm glad they care more about money than me. I've been trying to stay calm, but it's been hard. Fortunately, my girlfriend has been there to comfort me. She is the best. Maybe I'll use some of that extra money on a vacation for us. I haven't heard anything from another family yet, so I don't know how this will all play out.
I guess all I canWhat to do now is work to sell those cards and hope for the best. My relationship with my parents is basically over. now, but I still have the cards, so I'm the idiot for not returning the sports cards my dad gave me. These cards must be worth a lot of money if a family was willing to split up like that, I'm much more familiar with it. with prices for magic the junction cards and pokemon cards but i know there are sports cards that are very expensive just by looking at some of the top lists apparently a steph curry national treasures rookie card from 2009 sold for 5.9 million dollars and lebron james 2003-2004.
Exquisite collection number eight on the top deck sold for $5.2 million and then of course probably one of the most famous, the 1952 Mickey Mantle jersey, which also sold for $5.2 million . I don't know enough about basketball cards to know why those first two were so expensive, maybe they're one of one or maybe it was for some kind of charity auction or something, but apparently that's what they were sold for. But anyway Even if the cards were worth thousands of dollars or hundreds of thousands of dollars, whatever, this is a pretty bleak situation because a lot of times people think that power and money make people bad, make them ugly. , but most of the time, power and/or money simply reveals what was there, naturally, it's like imagining that you have all the money you ever wanted in the world, you won't actually worry that much about offending this person , offend that person because you know you have it. enough money to survive no matter what and that's why you see a lot of cruelty expressed and people who are hyper rich sometimes or people who just have power in general sometimes it's because there's no longer an incentive to hide what their true personality is.
What's underneath may sound a little extreme for a situation like this, but I mean it's your family, the father would be willing to cut ties with his own son because he wants to go on a luxury vacation for me, that's sad, it's superficial versus hey. You just helped your son cover all his college expenses and then some and especially the concept of giving someone a gift and then they sell it. Someone did that to me once for something that wasn't very valuable and I know it shouldn't matter, but it bothers you a little bit, especially when you could have sold it yourself, but in this case that's exactly what the father was going to do, he was going to sell it himself, doesn't mean they don't have the right to sell it.
It's because you gave it to him, but I can see why the father would be upset if he sold it, even if he was going to sell it himself anyway, so if you were in a situation where your parents gave you something worth 750,000 for example and then they wanted to recover everything or nothing, what would you do? Would you let me know below and idiot or not and why, how do I deal with my roommate? She stole my asthma inhaler because she was mad at me and me. I needed it I am a 20 year old woman and I have asthma and lately it has been getting worse my roommate is 25 years old and we are both in college we got into a fight on Saturday while I was preparing food because I am quite busy with work and school I go to school full time and work five days a week, it saves me money and time.
I also started eating healthier and haven't skipped meals since I started meal prepping a few days ago. I noticed some of my meals were missing, I asked my roommate about it and she told me that she and her boyfriend ate some of my meals to prepare my meal. She was upset and I told her that she couldn't take my food like that, especially without asking, she told me. She told me that she was making a big deal about nothing but that she wouldn't do it again on Saturday. I realized another one of my meals was missing.
I confronted my roommate about it and she told me that she had eaten another one of my meals. meals I got angry again I told her that she had to stop taking my food and that the next time she does I will make her pay for all the food she took, she started yelling at me, she called me exaggerated. bee and then he left it was a very long day I went to bed very early that day because I was exhausted I had a six hour shift at work and I spent the rest of the day studying for finals I usually leave my inhaler on my nightstand so I can access it easily I woke up in the middle of the night because my asthma is increasing I was coughing and having trouble breathing I needed my megaphone but it wasn't on my nightstand when I looked I thought it was It's weird because I remember leaving it on my nightstand .
I looked for it in my room but couldn't find it. I thought maybe I had misplaced it. It was around one in the morning and I really needed the inhaler. There was no place open. At that time to get one I had some black coffee but that didn't help much. I ended up calling my friend who lives in the same building as me. She also has asthma and she uses the same inhaler as mine. She had an extra one. inhaler and she brought it to me I felt bad for waking her up but I really needed an inhaler in the morning my roommate asked me why I was making so much noise last night I told her I needed my inhaler but I couldn't find it So I had to call a friend to to bring me one.
She had a really guilty look on her face and then she confessed to stealing my inhaler. She told me that she was still very angry with me because I have so much food and she wouldn't do it. I didn't let her eat anything so she came into my room while I was sleeping she said she wanted to get back at me she said she was planning to take something valuable that I would miss then she just saw my inhaler on my nightstand and she decided to take it she apologized she told me it was a impulsive decision and she wasn't thinking clearly, apparently anger caused her to do it so she gave me back my inhaler I was furious I asked her if she was

crazy

who in their right mind would take someone's asthma inhaler because they are angry with them.
I told him that if it had been worse he could have died. She told me to relax and she again told me that she was overreacting. I was so angry with her. I still am, I don't think I can handle living with her much longer, my roommate keeps telling me I'm overreacting but I don't think I am, we haven't spoken since before you decided either, idiot or I'm not an idiot , there is an update after making that post. I couldn't sleep that night. I slept with the door closed because I was afraid of my roommate. I also slept with my inhaler under my pillow that night.
I thought about it and realized. I shouldn't be afraid of my own home. The next morning I saw my roommate and asked if we could talk about the theft of my inhaler and food. Apparently she's still mad at me and I told her to get out and she left. I'm going to report her, but I thought maybe we could fix everything first. I guess it was a mistake. This all happened yesterday and I really needed to get out of that apartment. The first thing I did was talk to my landlord. My landlord is not a very good person, I explained to him what happened and told him that I didn't feel safe in my apartment, but he didn't really care and told me that I can't break the lease unless I get my roommate to fourth year I accepted it.
It's over and I highly doubt my roommate would do that. The thing is, our lease would end at the end of next month. I still moved because I didn't feel safe there. Unfortunately, I have to keep paying rent, but I guess not. too bad since it's only two months I was pretty upset after I talked to my landlord I had a meeting with my professor right after to discuss this project I'm working on for his class I'm actually pretty close to this professor I looked at Extremely stressed and upset, my teacher noticed and asked me if I was okay.
Then I burst into tears in my professor's office. She was very embarrassed but couldn't control it. I was under a lot of stress with finals for work and my roommate drama. She asked. I told her what was wrong and told her what happened with my roommate. She was shocked and called my roommate

crazy

. I told her that she was going to report what happened and she also thought that she should report it. My teacher was very kind and she helped me. Complete and submit an incident report about what happened. I then went to the police station to file a report.
My friend who brought me my asthma inhaler that night went with me. I was waiting there for two hours until I was finally able to speak to an officer who took my statement and asked me if I wanted to press charges. I thought about it a little and told him I didn't want to press charges. I know what my roommate did by stealing my asthma inhaler was horrible. but he didn't want to press charges against her. She asked me if I would like an officer to talk to her and I said yes. My roommate was called to the station and the officer spoke with her privately.
I don't want to. I know what he told her because I wasn't allowed in her room when she came out. She looked angry and scared. The officer told me not to worry about him and that my roommate wouldn't bother me anymore. I haven't done it yet. I feel safe living with my roommate. I decided to move. I called one of my closest friends. I told her what happened and told her that she needed a place to stay. She lives alone in an apartment and she told me I could stay with her. her for a while she came to her and my other friend helped me pack, it didn't take that long because I didn't pack many things, I took my basic needs, clothes, laptop, medicines etc, I left the rest of my things in the room.
I locked the door to my room so my roommate can't get in. Now I'm staying at my friend's apartment. Her apartment is a little small but she made it feel like home. I'm sleeping on her couch and it's surprisingly comfortable, at least I am. Feel safe here I don't plan to stay with my friends for long. I have some money saved and have already started looking for apartments. The last few days have been long and extremely stressful. I was also anxious the whole time. I'm just trying to get through the rest of my finals, so am I an asshole?
Honestly, that's pretty horrible. Imagine if she didn't have a friend at that time or if her asthma attack got worse. I think people don't understand how. Something as serious as this can be being in a real moment of panic or stress and not being able to have what you need to breathe, that's terrifying, it's like some people just don't understand what others have. Food allergies that are really serious. Sometimes you see people trying to trick or prank each other by playing on their food allergy and they don't understand that some food allergies are more serious than they could ever imagine.
Fortunately, in this situation, the operator had good friends. Around her was a friend who had a backup asthma inhaler to use at night and a friend she could stay with. It seems like the mean roommate still didn't get the message even as she was leaving the police station, so it's probably for the best. that the opie just leaves because who knows what kind of retaliation that bad roommate will have at that moment, all because because I wouldn't give her free food constantly, so let me know how you would handle this if you needed an inhaler and found out that someone who did you know he stole it from you as a way to get back at you, how would you handle it, what would you do, what could you do, let me know below and idiot or not, and why, when you subscribe, make sure to hit the bell to turn on notifications and finish To listen to all the stories in this series use the playlist at the top of the description and the next time you go live use the best music search for the best music on Spotify or any music platform you use for royalty-free music author to use in your stream it's free and the best thing about streaming anyway thank you very much for listening, see you next time
