When will we forgive Michael Vick? (Why does Favre get a pass?)

Apr 07, 2024
so I bought the new Madden and I've been playing a lot and let me tell you this, I don't think you can throw the ball to your man, which is to your tight end, who just went by his linebacker in coverage, because if he is Only if is a foot away from him, the guy

will

turn his head like he's out of the ring and just catch that and literally in the most miraculous catch you've ever seen, it's ridiculous, so I have to be very careful here today because I'm, As you can see, we're trying, we get in, you know, we're getting away from the tree, uh, hay fever is going crazy right now, you've got to get away from that, so let's try the old thing. the old mutton dog style you know me standing in the closet on the mic in the background let's do it I already think I'm on a weird level of take here I feel like I should be down here but let's rock anyway what are you doing?
when will we forgive michael vick why does favre get a pass
I want to talk about today, I want to talk about the individual whose highlights I have on television back here, an individual named Michael Vick. Now,

when

you say the name Michael Vick, you'll get one of two reactions. The first reaction you'll get

will

be from an average person saying, "Oh my God, that's that dog abuser, Oh my God, he did all those horrible things, Oh my God, he's a bad person," and then from the other On the other hand, there will be people who will recognize that but understand that a person's worst mistake

does

n't define their entire life and they will say yeah, he made some mistakes, but you know the guy was a great quarterback, unfortunately his career went off the rails.

More Interesting Facts About,

when will we forgive michael vick why does favre get a pass...

I mean , through his own performance, possibly at his best, but I mean hell, even

when

the guy came back and played for teams like the Eagles, he could still throw the damn ball, probably the best isn't Steve Young's lefty , right? I'm going to say probably the best Slinger to ever throw a ball left-handed, but I think Steve Young might have been left-handed. um, even a name that people already know, makes kids like I know the NBA like its youngest viewers do. I don't give a damn about Moses Malone and Dr. J, but young NFL fans don't give a damn about Mike Vicks and not about Mike Vicks, that's too recently, they don't give a damn about, you know, Steve Youngs and the I's.

I'm sure they know Joe Montana, but at the same time they talk about Jerry Rice as if she were Helen Keller and never existed. It's like Amigo, literally the best receiver in the league, could put up season-best numbers for the rest of his career. and you probably wouldn't even sniff Jerry Rice, he's head and shoulders above everyone, but anyway back to Michael Vick Michael Vick I mean he was drafted in the early 2000s. I mean in 2003-2004 he was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons. Now Vic was a huge prospect coming out of college, the guy who tore up the Allah defense in a sense comparable to college student Christian McCaffrey, the guy who the guy was literally doing, I mean, truth be told, he never did. college players look as stupid as they eventually made adults.

Men with asses are seen, but I want to say that this guy was excited when he left college would be an understatement of the century, so let's move forward a little, the guy plays a few seasons in the league and

does

very well, it's like the first real runner. like a quarterback climbing like Randall Cunningham and he's like, I'm pretty sure Vic was the first person who liked to run for over 800 yards as a quarterback or something like that or even a thousand. I don't think he hit a thousand, but I'm pretty sure it was close because I feel like I remember Lamar breaking Vic's record just a couple of years ago, but that's not important.
Vic spends a few years in the league becoming a great professional player. I guess I want to say the Falcons maybe until the second or third round, but eventually, a couple of seasons into Michael Vick's career, he gets arrested on dogfighting charges, these charges were legitimate, these charges were justified and it's something Vic should have had and been punished for if he really wanted to. If you dislike it, you can go and read stories about how those dogs are treated in that dogfighting ring and they really like the point where they really like to use Michael Vick like he's the only person involved in something like, literally the Kingpin of dogfighting, so I always like to match everything directly with him and while I'm sure he did things, it's one of those things where you realize you need more than one guy to run a giant dog fighting ring let's see this he's coming out of the pocket running to the right throw that ball oh my god who's in the end zone?
That was disgusting for Vaughn, bro, who is Avant? The man just stubbed his toe for the century and I don't think I even heard it. of him was when Vic was with the Eagles, but that's a great example of a lot of that there was almost never a point, especially in Vic's career in Atlanta, where he wasn't the best player on the field, that's a clear fact. Back to dog fighting, as you may already know, I am a big dog lover. Literally here, let's do something quick. I have Wilson, this is soup. Soup is also a stuffed dog, as you can see, and then to top it all off, I have to breed.
I'm on top, so this is Jesus Christ, there you go, a dog, two dogs, three dogs, all tattooed on my legs, the ones in the order you saw it, are Maddie Biscuit and Daisy, those are the three dogs which I've had pretty much since I was I don't know, maybe like four and five until now, Maddie is still alive with us, Cookie and Daisy

pass

ed away several years ago, so my point with that is that I love dogs. I probably love dogs more than you. I was so depressed that honestly the only thing that drove me every day was the fact that Pittsburgh, especially when the weather is nice, everyone walks their dogs, everyone goes out and it's literally, it's amazing, I mean, it's like the thing Most happy in the world.
I would rather see dogs than people. I don't remember the original post if I'm honest with you, but I was reading Twitter, which is a great way to get angry as I'm sure you realize that um and someone. I was talking about Vic and some little idiot in the replies said something like calling Becca the word r um, which is absolutely disgusting and short-sighted, and you know it's the exact kind of comment you'd expect from Twitter, but it's one of those things that I'm surprised we're still doing it and we had a discussion about, oh, I remember what was okay, the post was originally talking about Brett Favre Brett Favre, he's a part of Brett Favre, like if you've been paying attention to the news. recently defunded like some state's multi-million dollar welfare program like this literally took money right out of the hands of the poor and will probably get like a slap on the wrist and then no one will ever talk about it again because Brett Favre is a man white man who knows how to act on camera and so we'll just give him a

pass

and, uh, you can get mad about it, but that's not me, that's America and at the same time in that same United States we have a black man named Michael Vick who not only served time in prison years ago, a prison sentence justified by which he couldn't play for years, but went on to advocate for animal rights.
I vividly remember a clip I took as a video I cut out. What I put on Twitter got over a thousand likes and it was like my first Twitter account. I thought this is crazy and it was a clip of Michael Vick throwing football with some little kids and reiterating the sentiment of how important it is to take care of your dogs and your pets and your animals and understand that when you get these animals, it's not just a toy, it is a living, breathing organism that needs to be cared for as such, just like a baby, just like a baby needs food, water.
Love, the same applies to all species of animals and for some reason in 2020, the year of Our Lord, 2022, Michael Vick is still demonized, excuse me, those are the demons that come out. Michael Vick is absolutely demonized by a large percentage of the sports media and I can probably imagine. it's even a larger percentage of sports fans and it's one of those situations where they probably just heard Mike Vick punch the dogs and walked away with that ignorance, can you even? I don't even think you can justifiably use ignorance as an excuse at this point this year, well, we're so immersed in the information age that, honestly, it's ridiculous to try to act like you can't form a real opinion about something and get the information you need to form a set. opinion because dude, it's at your fingertips, it kills me like it's one of those things that I remember as a kid when I didn't really understand the situation and, you know, I didn't really have a good understanding of life and how different situations They affect how a person can act and they can affect the things that they think are appropriate, the things that they think are good or bad, before I even thought about it and I just found out that, oh, Mike Vick, was this dog killer, disgusted of course, like any child would feel when they heard that this individual was killing animals, they would just feel absolutely disgusted, but clearly unlike many individuals, I really took the time to grow as a person and, Fortunately for me, I had years and years and years to do this, but I took the time to grow as a person and realize that Michael Vick came from a pretty difficult situation, when I hate him, I even try to clarify this point because I didn't grow up poor and it is not my intention to act as such.
I come from the center of the city or something like that. I live in the suburbs and moved to Pittsburgh for about four years, but if you're not from that world where your best prospects for making money are stealing, maybe sell substance if you're in that world, dog fighting doesn't seem so bad because at least it's the dogs you're killing instead of your brother and sister. Going back to what that comment on Twitter was saying, what really made me angry, part of it was like how do you put yourself in a position where you think it's okay, where you think it's justifiable and my immediate reaction is the fact? that you have to ask, that shows that you should keep quiet and not comment on it if you can't.
If I understand why an impoverished individual can take responsibility for starting dog fights as an effort to not only provide for himself but also his loved ones, then I really don't think you and I can have a decent conversation as humans because I don't think you're human enough for me, like you can't see that you don't have the empathy to know when an individual is in such a situation and that they're going to be doing shitty things in an effort to not only get out but just to survive. every day if you can't understand that then you're probably part of like Brett Favre.
I will say that standing up with the microphone I can understand why people do it. He has good energy. I can see why. why Motorola Noggin doesn't do that much on that old school baseball football field combo dude it's so disgusting how long teams did that so stupid bro yeah he's got legs on these guys he's going right at it um, I don't know. I guess my general point is that I'm surprised that we're going to let someone like Brett Favre, who really has taken on so much that it's probably going to affect families in that state for generations, while people are more concerned about these dogs than... everyone's dead, there were these huge items to last, the last dog from Michael Vick's dogfighting ring finally died, oh my god, at least you know, just these damn pieces of puff pastry to throw away, just to throw someone away under the bus to have. someone to demonize have someone to put down to let you know that white Americans feel better about themselves so they don't have to, you know, think about their transgressions when they lie in bed, okay, please, anything , no, okay, um, my name.
