cinnamon

? - Yes. - Why does it smell so little like

cinnamon

? (laughs) - Wow. (Peppy Christmas Jingles) - Hey, what's up everyone? My name is Tway and welcome to a special edition of Making It Big, the show where my friends challenge me to make their favorite foods big. If you notice that my table here is a little warped it's because we're filming everything in virtual reality. I know. Really cool. If you want to watch the full VR episode, you can watch it with a Meta Quests two headset on Mega Tasty. That's our virtual kitchen world within Horizon Worlds or on Meta Quest tv.

More Interesting Facts About,

i made a 30 pound cinnamon roll...

The glaze is like a sweet sauce. - If I can't make it, I'll get you one from the mall. (Jing and Tway laugh) - It's a decent constellation award, but I believe in you. - Thank you. - Then I'll see you soon. - I will see you later. - Alright. Good luck. - Wow. Well. Let's make a big, giant cinnamon roll. (Christmas music) - I'm going to start by making the dough. So here I have all-purpose flour and I'm also using whole wheat flour. This will help with the structure of the cinnamon roll. I have my sugar here.

Oh, and by the way, this is just one batch of dough. A little salt, ginger and yeast. This dry mixture. So that's 16 whole eggs. There are actually 32 in the recipe. Lots of butter in this recipe. And well, I'm not mad about that. I love butter. I feel like everything that's good in life is bad for you and that's just not fair. I have my milk here. Molasses. Oh yeah. This is a Christmas recipe and that's why we use molasses to give it that extra festive flavor. Okay, and I think it's time to add the dry. Working with so much dough scares me, because I'm just waiting for it to rise.

For next season, can the production become like a commercial mixer or what? Are we going to continue doing this by hand? Oh. I think I'm ready to put this on the counter. Here we go. So my money is coming in, but in the meantime, Tiny Tway is here to entertain us with some facts. So let's listen to it. So it was the Egyptians and the Romans who had the original sticky bun, but it was actually the Swedish and German immigrants who brought their version of sticky buns to America. And it wasn't until the 1950s that cinnamon paper as we know it, the ones I'm making now, was created and gained popularity.
I think we're ready to go to the bowls. (upbeat music) So while the dough rises, I'm going to make the filling, literally the best part of the cinnamon roll. So here I have the basics, butter and brown sugar. Lots of butter. Brown sugar here. And you can just stop here. But I want to make this special for Jing because I love Jing. So I have all these spices here for her. - Season it! - Molasses, ginger salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, five spices, cloves. I love that all of these spices are the spices for making pho, but we're making cinnamon rolls.
Imagine a pho cinnamon roll. I don't know if it sounds good, but it's a possibility if it shares the same ingredients. Good? There you go. Oh man. What a big boy. And I think it's time for another ASMR. Hear. (roller stick) Wow. I have my filling here. Oh. Mm I'm just going to spread it all over this dough. Besides eating the cinnamon roll, this has to be my favorite part of making a cinnamon roll. (happy piano music) The moment I wasn't expecting because this can make or break my cinnamon roll. (tense string music) Usually with regular cinnamon rolls, at this point you just cut this up, put it on the tray, and let it rise.
But we're not going to make regular cinnamon buns. We are doing a big one. So I'm going to keep rolling. (excited band music) Oh, what I'm going to do is cut this in half and just patch it. Know? (festive orchestration music) I think there's only one more room. I want to leave a little space for it to expand. Let's bake this bad boy. (merry Christmas music) Again, I have butter. What's new? This recipe has so much butter. Cream cheese, and then I have here my vanilla extract and my salt, the confectioners' sugar. I have some milk here that I'm going to add slowly.
I have to try the taste. I have to. OMG, that is so, so delicious. Let's crush some cookies. I'm not angry, I promise. Oh yeah. I've only done it, I've never done it. (upbeat music) - Beautiful. This is my big, giant cinnamon roll. So proud. - That's all. I really hope to get Jing's approval and I believe she is here. Come in, Jing. - Hello. Oh Lord. - Well. Are you ready? - I think if. - Well. Three two. (Tway laughing) - Oh - This is the giant cinnamon roll you ordered. - Oh Lord. -It looks exactly the same as the cinnamon roll I gave you before, but giant. - Are you ready? - I'm ready. - My. - Need help? (sad trumpet sound) (both laughing) - Okay. - Thanks, Cole. - Take two. - Take two.
Yeah! - Oh Lord. - Oh my lord. Here we go. - Wow. - Here's your piece of cinnamon roll. - Alright. - Health. - Mmmm - Mmm. What I love is that it's not too dense and you see how there are so many flaky layers and all the spices in between layers. That's exactly what I ordered and what I was looking for. So you did great. - Shall we take this home and finish it? - Let's do it. - Alright. Come on. - Do you need help transporting it? - Yes, let's do it. - Wow, wow.
I'll turn on the lights later. - Well. (Christmas jazz music)
