Apr 09, 2020
Hey guys, are we doing great in today's video? I'm going to react to another BuzzFeed video that I did a while ago, where I reacted to two women getting

tattoo

s with a single needle and you guys seem to love that video, but I got a lot of comments on that video saying that there are another one I should really react to and it's a cover-up video and I thought, "Okay, if there are a lot of comments saying I need to watch it or react to it," then I'm like, Okay, there must be something about this that's pretty bad or iconic. , I don't know how, so I'm going to react to that today.

I just need to finish my little setup and put my laptop in here, okay? I have my laptop here, as you can see, so yes, the video I'm reacting to is from a BuzzFeed subchannel called ALS and videos called I

and we've all had our fair share, well, i mean. If you're my age, we've had our fair share of those, that's how I started getting tattoos. He had very questionable tattoos, most of them were

covered

up, so I'm intrigued to see what it is about, honestly. Like two seconds, what's up?

It sounds so intense and it's like, "Oh my God," like I never had a tattoo before seeing that. I'd like to freak out like, "Oh my God," so that really takes turns, so today. I'm covering up a pretty

embarrassing

tattoo from the

early

2000s

. I got a tattoo. He was too young. I was about 16 or 17 and basically my boyfriend at the time was like, Hey, do you want to get a tattoo? I'm going to make one. I was like yeah because that's cool. Oh, first of all, she sounds British, right, she's British, that's awesome anyway. I can't say she was there.

I wanted to get a tattoo because I like it. I have always loved tattoos. I've never, actually, I've never heard from anyone in my life, obviously it happens, but I've never heard from any of you or anything like that that you wanted to be accused because you thought looking tattooed was cool, that makes any sense, like it's cool. thing to do um most of you say you do it, appreciate art and stop and yeah, tattoos look cool. I don't know how to explain this, tattoos look cool, but we don't do them. because it's cool, Joe says anyway he looks for a moment, not long, at what he wanted and I decided I wanted a butterfly and a Chinese symbol and the butterfly would be Stardust.

Now it's supposed to come off his wings, but it seems to me. like she's getting Stardust, the permanence of that tattoo, let me, I just need to look at this, oh that's right, she must be really old because I don't know how old she is, but I mean she's probably a little bit old on my part. I'm 29 I mean I'm maybe 32 54 that's 9 so I like it but yeah this tattoo would be pretty old now not really old but let's say it's like 14 15 it could be 14 19 years old . My math is terrible, it's not old but it's on the older side of a tattoo, but the way you described your experience, like you just picked up any old thing, I feel like you just went to any old tattoo studio , so I guess the way it is.
I went to any old tattoo studio, thought to what extent and maybe didn't do much research into it or anything like that. RS because that's pretty bad, the quality of that hasn't held up well at all, the butterfly literally. It looks like something I flushed down the toilet before for a solid black design like a Chinese symbol, it should have held up a little better than that, you know, if you use just solid black, that's what they did a lot of and it's also so patchy and not Ni even what actually for the spring courses they were cut quite well actually just for colored spots or colored dots that hold up quite well, much better than the poop butterfly anyway, I would say it's interesting, hello guys, I'm Diana C munos, also known as DCM tattoos. and I work at the shamrock social club so this is good again okay yeah this specializes in intricate single needle tattoos with fine lines and some of them are okay.
I'm not so good when it comes to fine lines with a single needle, but larger ones. Obviously better with this kind of thing, but at the age of four I started doing cover-ups, it's something I rarely do nowadays, but I like to take on special projects. I regularly only do new tattoos on fresh skin. The two cover ups that she showed or this video showed in my opinion are not bad they are really nice it is difficult to do a cover up I will give every artist that sometimes it's hot you are covering up sometimes a very old scarred tattoo or You know it's a tattoo big, you have to try to walk around it or the way it is shaped is a little hard to hide.
There are so many factors when it comes to cover up tattoos and I don't know how long some of you guys last. The guys have been here, but I used to talk about a TV show called tattoo fixes and there was this questionable tattoo that would literally be like Gnaeus' tallest tattoo and then they make a cover. -up and it would be like a whole back piece for no reason so there are artists out there that can't do cover ups and you know it's something that takes skill but they can excel at something else or whatever but if you can do it a tattoo that is good for cover up and doing any style of tattoo they do.
Also, it took me a long time to decide what to cover it with because I don't love tattoos, so it has to be a little longer. I always came up with something that was basically like a mountain-like forest landscape because I thought I'll never get bored of trees, that's fair enough, no you can't get enough of trees, they're everywhere. I like that design. she chose it, I don't know if she drew it or got someone else to draw it for her, the only thing about this is that it's not solid anywhere, if that makes any sense, so if you look at the trees, it's very sketchy . so there are spaces between each tree and with what it has you would see the old tattoo through it, that poof butterfly on the chinese symbol is too big for this to go on top of so I don't know how it will work.
Actually I haven't seen the final design yet, the artist hasn't shown me, she just knows who she wanted and I'm about to find out what she has designed for me. I'm quite nervous. I hope I love it, that's how it always is. It's kind of nerve-wracking when you go to a tattoo studio and you haven't seen the design. I always give my tattoo artists creative freedoms. This is the kind of thing I want, but honestly, do what you want with the idea that I have Since my ideas are very, very basic, for example, when I got my alien tattoo, I think I just said that I want an alien in a UFO and then the artist who did it, Sam Whitehead, just created it's the most amazing alien tattoo I've ever seen.
Wow, this blows my mind every time it happens and with every tattoo I've gotten, they all exceed my expectations, you know, but it's always stressful going into the shooter thinking, well, I don't really like it. but I've never had that moment where I said I don't like it, so I can understand your nervousness towards it, especially when you don't have that many tattoos. I think it's the only tattoo I have. I haven't seen my design yet, yeah, so I know you mentioned you wanted to do more of a nature scene with the mountains and trees. However, since we are cloaking our options are a little limited and I didn't do it.
I want to make a gigantic cover-up for you. I want to give you a delicate and beautiful back. So this is what they came up with. It's like a combination of geometry and flowers. This is beautiful. I do not love it anymore. She asks for third place, okay? I can see why they wanted me to react to this because that's not even close to what she wanted, she wanted a natural tree mountain type tattoo and yes, flowers, a nature, I know, but there's not even a triple tree there, no there is compromise in all this nothing like what she wanted, nothing zero, I mean, yes, you have the same kind of shape as the other one that was simulated to be designed that way.
Imagine sending a tattoo by email and it being as I would very much like it. a tiger and then you go to the studio and they say: well, I know you wanted a tiger, but we'll give you an elephant, you know, that's what we feel like doing today, can you imagine? you know that with cover-ups there has to be compromise there has to be compromise without a doubt you have to know how to move some things and this is very different from what you want you know there is no compromise here this ice literally has "Well, she wanted trees, which is nature, flowers, a nature, right, let's make flowers, sit tight with me, hello, I would say I would have a little problem, but you know this guy is in a complicated situation because this is obviously having failed, oh right, really you can't make a fuss, I mean, she could if she really wanted to, obviously, I know if she wasn't really happy with it, I think she wouldn't say hey, I don't really want this on me at all, but there's a chance. so she doesn't feel like she can say that and say I may be reading too much into it, but if you're in a professional environment, this is obviously her job, right Mike, imagine just being like oh no, this isn't really what I wanted.
I refuse, as if that were something unprofessional. I just feel like she's trapped. She may be reading too much into this, let me know how you feel. I know for a fact that if it was in a professional setting, I would have a harder time saying I don't like that and especially with something like this that is in your body for life and I also guess I could be wrong. I'm guessing that diamond shape will be crossed out that's where the original tattoos will fit so he'll have a black diamond on his shoulder oh this is a BuzzFeed BuzzFeed if you're watching this okay if you need help with the content of the tattoo yell at me okay this is bad representation of what cover ups should be like there is always a bit of compromise this goes way beyond compromising the artist just did what he wanted and it's a little awkward with this yes we will make it solid to cover up the butterfly and the symbol kanji and then we will treat the flowers very delicately.
I had it in my mind that I wanted to treat situational braces, so yeah, she's going to drop all that and then she'll probably make those really fine needles called needle flowers that she made in the other damn video I reacted to and it's all going to be a disaster. and in five years with that black spot next to it, oh my god, oh, I'll stop judging now because I haven't seen the last of it, but I'm like I'm praying for this girl I'm praying for this girl I hope she's okay, she fits well Furthermore, that makes me think that this artist has come into contact with this girl before or that he has had a photo.
I don't know how she is. I managed to measure that very well mmm conspiracy theory I can't believe how big that diamond shape is and it will be all black next to a single needle fine line flowers I'm all for contrasts and stuff, not much, I already I forget since they're like oh yeah, how many of us have been there? We're like, oh love, especially if you haven't been tattooed in a while, you like not to forget how it feels, but you just like it, I can't. try it so bad, I don't remember it being that bad and then you lay down and you sit down and you just go, oh yeah, I remember the way I started doing cover ups was mostly by request, it's just that people were like me.
I need this to go away I need this to go away I mean we've all been there I've had yeah I don't know how many cover ups I've had now but for 500 in that moment when you look at the dodgy old tattoo you had when you were younger and you're like me, I don't need this anymore, compared to all my good new tattoos, I don't need this old one on display ruining the party. for everyone else, you know, it's like the person at the party who's pretty boring and complains and it's like they're already gone, so the way I do the cover-up design is, obviously, I do a little consultation with my client and I see what they are attracted to, so she sees what they are attracted to, like this girl is attracted to trees, um, but then she made a flower situation for her, okay, if any of you would like to get a tattoo for size, make sure you tell him the opposite of what you like, you know, so if you want a dragon tattoo, just tell him you want a turtle or something you know or a shark, then you might get a dragon, which You know, okay, so let's take it to the meaty part. of the cover up and let's start making that nice solid black hmm.
I'm a little nervous about this part. I try to incorporate the old lines into the new tattoo, although more recently I've been doing these as solids. geometric and floral pieces that I find quite interesting because they have almost a very light touch in the flowers and then a dark solid in the geometry, so she just said that I find geometric tattoos with flowers attractive, so she's basically doing this because that's what she likes knowing that there are so many tattoos out there that love to do a certain type of design or a certain type of style or whatever, they have a favorite, it's like with any job, you have a taskfavorite thing you like to do, whether it's like organizing or whatever, so I get it, but you can't impose that on people you know and just have them get something of what I feel.
Personally, I feel like the target on small single needle tattoos like this, it just doesn't make sense because if we look back at what this art is, another BuzzFeed girl put a veil behind her ear. I'm scared as a bell. Tattoo and then it had a bird on it and it started out as fine details and whatever and you can see in the new photo that there were white highlights there, but then you look at how it looks now it's all gone. like everything is getting mixed up, it's just that you're making things more complicated by adding more and more ink, aren't you darling, we're done, I can't wait to see it, I'm so excited, all that black just doesn't appear.
It doesn't seem natural, joy, that's what it means to me, screams that cover it up. Obviously I don't know what a cover-up is. I'm probably thinking that, but he just screams, cover it up, just wow, those super detailed. I really like the little diamond at the bottom, thank you very much. I never thought he would get rid of that stupid thing and now it's gone forever. She seems happy with it, which is a plus in my opinion. They started those cameras on her, so I don't know. I just feel a little sorry for her. I don't know why I feel like she might be a little disappointed but she can't show it.
Don't know. I just do not know. I've just never done it. I went to a moving studio, asked for something. They gave me something different, you know, so I don't know how she would feel. It could be from the belt, it could be from the West, I don't know, but yes, if we look. In tattooing, I mean, ice is good in solid black. I'll give it to us because it's obviously hard to get a solid black like that, so I'll give her credit, where credit is due, for the flowers, I mean the two biggest ones. Small intricate details may be fine in the long run, although especially on the other black diamond there is a small flower that won't last long.
I mean, you know, in 5 to 10 years everything will be a little soft, you know? all those details and stuff, you know, looking back at what this artist has done before with that bird tattoo. He was just mentioning small tattoos like that, there was so much detail, just and the really fine intricate diamond underneath, which has nothing to do with it. The lines of that will fade over time but it'll hold up pretty well because there's a lot of room there so you don't know anything to worry about so we've got a little side by side comparison here's the cover up better than your tattoo yeah , okay, I'll give them that.
I will say something nice, I think when you look at it up close, the tattoo like the car above doesn't look that bad, yeah it doesn't look that bad, but from a distance it does. it literally looks like a black diamond with some scribbles on it you know because from afar fine line tattoos with a single needle you can't really see what's going on it's not like again my big hand is touching you where you can see what is happening here because it's so big and bold that from afar you can see what's going on, but if I had these little flowers in my hand from afar, it would look like something gray, so it's been a little over a week since I had to tattoo and it is healing very well, it looks very pretty and everyone I have shown it to loves it.
It's actually very nice when it heals. I'll give them that too. It looks very, very pretty. Well, I just worry a lot about those lines. so it's a fine line so it's single needle flowers right there the outline of the flowers looks like a strand of hair you know it's that thin it literally looks like it's made of strands of hair it's that thin the other thing is What What worries me is that as the tattoo ages, you see that in the diamond there are like branches, so to speak, so there is a little bit of negative space there.
I have the feeling that the tattoo expands over the years as I have. discussed before the touches, you know, it blurs the lines, it fades as you know they get older because the ink just moves a little bit under the skin. I have a feeling that negative space won't look as hot, you know? in a few years, oh no, I'd love to see this, he or didn't like it five, ten years, I'd love to see how he handles aging and stuff. Hi, I was terrified for a few moments when he said he changed the design. I'm super happy with this and I'm glad I have the White House.
Now I can show my back to the world and not feel ashamed. Oh, even though she mentioned the whole fact that he was traded, there's a part of me that thinks the reason why. She brought that up because she knows that even I comment down in the comments section saying "wait, wait, that's not what you asked for," so I think she feels like she needs to clarify and say wait before you guys start doing tapping. Far from saying that's not what they teach you, she felt the need to justify it, but another reason I think she brought it up is because she was really surprised when they first showed it to her and maybe again I guess maybe this be it just a theory that he actually didn't like it at first, then he moved on and now he likes it like he's seen it, he's had it for about a week, he's gotten used to it, so he's like, you know what? guys, yeah, I know that's not what I asked for, but I actually really like it now, but she left out the now.
I don't know, this is all a little strange to me, but yeah, I'd love to hear her opinion. guys thoughts on this video about my thoughts and if you have any other videos that you would like me to react to just comment below you know comment on the title or whatever and yeah I hope everyone is doing great. very good and in a next video goodbye
