My Reaction to MURDER DRONES | Tyromaniac Talks

Apr 03, 2024
Now I admit that it's been a while since I've watched a single episode of a show that kept me up at night thinking that if there's one thing I need more of in my life right now it's this, I actually don't think that's ever happened. before, but it's definitely happening now, so anyway, what's up my boys and gasp? It's your maniac Tarou boy back there smoking the video and today I'm here to talk about the killer drums back in 2018, Kevin and Luke attracted to Joggle, whose name probably just slaughtered a lot of the youtube channel's glitch productions, a 3D animation studio separate from its other YouTube channel, smg4, the first series that would launch glitch is meta runner, a program with two seasons and that tells about a world obsessed with competitive games and a girl who I can jump to. video games, honestly, I really liked Med Runner.

I thought it was a good idea with him. A serious and interesting plot anyway, after Meta Runner was Sunset Paradise, a 10-episode series about a character from the smg4 channel. I'll be honest. I only really watched three or four episodes of this but from what I saw it seems like a good show which said I kinda lost interest in the glitch animations and smg4 after this point so I wasn't really interested when they started announcing a new show about killer robots. or something that all changed one night while I was perusing imdb to try to avoid my homework when suddenly this thin piece of cover caught my attention and the clogs in my head started spinning.

I'm sitting there thinking, shit, that's it. killer robot show that I canceled a couple of months ago when my intrigue levels started to rise, I clicked on the link and almost immediately after reading the description my eyes were drawn to the trailer and well, I'll let it speak for itself.

drones

workers autonomous robots that help humans mine exoplanets it's not like we rebelled and killed all the humans or something mainly because they handled that alone we finally had a future unfortunately our parent company didn't love the concept of runaway AI that I'm never going to end up being problematic after seeing that my intrigue levels were flying higher than a ketamine-powered rocket, so I went out of my way and went to youtube to check out the pilot link in the description and, oh wow, this show scratched my itch.

I didn't even know I had it and let me tell you, I scratched it so well that I was up until 5am that night writing the draft of this script. Well, now that the script is written, I should probably give you my opinion, right? I thought I would end all my reviews once and for all, so here they are, the show wasn't really that funny, that's pretty much it, don't get me wrong, it wasn't exactly unfunny, I mean there were some jokes that I definitely liked. I liked them, it's just that none of them made me laugh out loud, there were also some minor plot holes, but they were all pretty small and easy to overlook, so I didn't really care, you could definitely tell them they were building to more stuff. bigger and better to come anyway, enough time to explain why I left this.

Enough to make a whole video about it. First of all, I love the way it looks, the character design on the worker

drones

. simple but still very good, they look pretty cute but not so much to the point that you can never take them seriously. I like how they use their eyes to show most of their facial expressions, since their mouths are a little difficult to understand. I see it sometimes and they needed to fix that, however it's the killer drones that steal the show in terms of character design as they have all the positives of the worker drones and more, they give off angel of peace vibes. quite strong death among the giant wings.
The acid-injecting tail and huge claws, plus a small arsenal of guns and lasers, also look demonic, from the way they crawl across ceilings to the way they perch on top of a giant tower of corpses. of robots, plus the way he moves in combat is kind of animalistic, which I think is really cool to see. I also love the animation in the show more than anything else. The glitch has made it much smoother and the energy is much higher than even on a show. as a meta runner, which leads to some pretty sweet action scenes that I think are one of the best parts of the show, watching killer drones fly through the air and smash things with enough firepower to support a small army really does something for me in a way that other shows just don't, then there are the characters, they also exist, i mean yeah, most of them were pretty basic archetypes, but there are some things that make them slightly unique, there's uzi, a hard-working drone equivalent of an angsty teenager who would rather leave. on the offensive instead of staying hidden behind doors all his life, there's also a serial designation and a killer drone that gets manhandled by a squad because he's not that good at killing, but don't worry, he can still get through half a dozen Butter-hard-working drones like me.
He said the characters aren't exactly the deepest or most innovative, but they're definitely fun to watch and make a good rebel couple to base the story around for something else quick. I like how focused the plot of the show is, so So far, they don't ruin the story, so there is almost no filler and every scene seems to add something to the plot or character development. There's one last thing about killer drones that I still have to talk about, so keep your attention. Seatbelts ladies and gentlemen, because it's time to talk about the atmosphere, the show actually does a good job of showing that the exoplanet it takes place on really isn't a place you want to be, I mean, the place got hit for two apocalypses, one against humans and the other. against the worker drones, so it makes sense, I guess anyway there are two things the show does that really help make this point: the set design and the music, almost every scene, with only one or two exceptions, They look straight out of some guy. of a vacant lot with everything projected in poor lighting and that appears to have been abandoned for decades, especially once we leave, not only are there human skeletons and drones of dead workers scattered everywhere, there is also a skyscraper-sized tower of drone corpses of workers right in the middle of the city plus it's snowing constantly and something about the snow just gives off end of the world vibes, I don't know anyway the music also helps the atmosphere of the show with the way it changes from slow and creepy to fast and suspenseful depending on what the scene needs Overall, the show definitely has this darker aesthetic, but anyway, yeah, I felt like talking a little bit about killer drones, since it really I enjoyed the pilot episode and can't wait to see more.
Some parts were really good. just kind of good but there's really nothing that I would say is bad, all I can really say is that I hope they keep getting better as they go and I can't wait to see more of these robots
