Holographic Inspirational stones

Hey guys, welcome back, I promised you I wouldn't be gone for long. Someone is still not working on my deck today, so I can still work on wonderful things to share with you. So what I've done is collect. three very beautiful

stones

along the shores of lake superior and these

stones

have a lot of peach, pink, orange and green and I'm not really sure of the name but I think I know it, I think I know I saved it's on my phone, um, but no, I don't know what it is from here, but they are precious, precious stones, so I've tried to collect a couple of the same color, you don't have to.

You can paint this on whatever you want. It's just me sharing with you some fun ideas, some easy, some not so easy, but all free from my channel. So this will be three

inspirational

stones, one will say love, one will say hope and one will save faith and sometimes we need a little of all of that so why not? Why not find creative ways to spread those

inspirational

stones? I'm going to use some nail stuff today so some UV gel top coat and it's a you don't need to clean the top coat and it's just from Amazon it's not very expensive and I use a UV light to cook it so I can put it on. a beautiful

holographic

powder, so you'll see it a little later, but I'm trying it first. to make my words as pretty as possible um if you want to use a stencil for this kind of thing you definitely can or if you have a cricut that will make your life a lot easier um but I'm just going to write it in pencil and then paint it and thicken the letters a bit and then I'm going to outline them all in gold, so this is the biggest one, it has a lot of green, it's such a beautiful stone that I can't wait to show it off. you, what do they look like once they're sealed with resin um because that's what they look like underwater um just beautiful, I love them so much um searching for stones my my youngest son jackson loves searching for stones he loves it he will come it's up to me with the Pockets full and he's just not happy, he needs more, he wants to have his own little rock garden, uh, back here, and they're all his rocks, no one can take them, um, but I mean, who doesn't, who doesn't.

I don't go to the beach and collect stones, shells and sea glass and, you know, rocks, who doesn't do that, it's just amazing, it's fun and I've had stones in my bag like years ago, I don't even know where I found them, um, but they're special in a way because they probably came from Jackson, so as you can see, they're not the best, they're not the best lyrics in the world, but I'm doing the best I can and I'm not going to worry too much because we're going to make it look very pretty and no one will notice if the letters are not perfect, no one will notice my handmade font, so let's not worry too much about that. just worry about the word and the meaning and then we'll add some, we'll add some magic to it, that's what we're going to do, we'll sprinkle some magic dust on the faith of love and I hope I made a mistake.

My faith and it looked really fun so I had to start over with a completely different stone that was hard for me to find and then I'm going to paint over the other one, find something else to put. on it, so on this one you can see that it also has little bits of green and peach on it, it will look different when it's resined, sure it looks a little bumpy, but it's actually pretty smooth, that's just the design on the back in the background so It's actually really pretty so the same thing I did with the other rocks I'm just painting it and making sure it's thick because we're going to add our magic to those letters so we need some space there to work. with the right, we want, we don't want to have letters that are too fine.

I find it difficult to work with top coat and glitter in any way when the letters are too thin, it's very difficult to do so, so my letters are nice and thick, so we'll be able to see them probably from quite far away, but my handwriting is atrocious , so I'm sure everyone else will be able to do it better than me. I've always been told my handwriting is horrible ever since. He was a little kid, so yeah, I stopped trying to make him look better, I stopped worrying about it after a while and I just make him look pretty with other things with magic.

I'm going to share that magic with you today, I hope all of you. okay I hope you're all taking good care of yourself enjoying the warm weather if it's hot where you are um I hope you can enjoy it and it's not too much I know I've seen some people that are family members that I have in England that are suffering right now with the heat and It's not easy for them there, it's not that hot, so I feel bad for them right now, any of you that are having to fight and suffer. in the heat for some reason I'm thinking about you I haven't spent much time outside just the last while because there were people working on the terrace and stuff so I've stayed out of the sun, but I'd like to do it again before it's over the summer, so this is my terrible, terrible write-up for Faith.

I apologize for this. This is my second attempt too, so I thought I would do better the second time, but I'm actually not. feeling like I'm not too sure and oh yeah guess how many times my nails change in this video it should be a game when you watch Rachel's Rocks tutorials because my nails always change and that's because it takes me a long time to finish a tutorial with the shape. My life is so normal that I've been getting my nails done again when I finish my tutorials, so I hope the sleeve of my sweatshirt doesn't erase my letters and ruin the rock, but so far they look pretty good, always wait for my black. paint to dry before you start playing with it adding a gold outline or any type of outline.

I always wait for it to dry because it's a lot easier to fix things when the paint is dry, so if I have to fix some of the black, I can do that from time to time I can outline once it's dry and I'm just giving it a nice thin outline on all sides and we're going to fill in all that black with

nail powder and if you don't want to use nail powder you can use nail foils, if you're not comfortable with nail foils you can put dots or you can also use glitter paint or puff paint, to be honest it's totally up to you, I love using nail art supplies on my nails.

It's great, probably because I've had a lot of practice with my nails. I don't go to a nail salon, I do my nails myself so everything you see is what you get and it's just part of my art, my artist stuff. like it comes out of me on my nails, I can't stop, I always have to be artistic in some way, um, yeah, and I get bored easily, so I usually change my nails once a week and get creative, but... Why not incorporate something? from the things you can do with your nails to the things you can do on your rocks, why not, once you see this you'll understand, once you see it finished you'll understand, so now I'm going to use your mac art. uh it's a brand that I found on Amazon, super super cheap and you can't clean it, you don't have to clean it with anything, just put it on there like nail polish, put it under the UV light, I usually put it under. for 120 seconds depending on the light you're using and the gel you're using, so make sure you read the instructions and I'll post the lamp I use as well as the nail gel or, sorry, nail gel, uv gel. top coat, I will list it in the description of this video and you can use any type of nail powders that you can find, mirror powders, chrome powders, you can also use chrome flakes, whatever you want, you can put on top of this after I cured it under an ultraviolet light.

Certain powders just shine like crazy. But today I'm going to do holography and you'll see how beautiful it is. Have I mentioned I love color? I absolutely love the color and the holographic powder lays like a rainbow on these letters and is such a treat to look at. I can look at it for hours. I'm not kidding. I love taking pictures of it. I sometimes struggle to capture the beauty of holographic powder, but I hope I can. I can make it today for you so you can enjoy it as much as I do, so I apply the polish with the big brush that it comes with and then I use a smaller brush to guide it around my letters and it doesn't really move too much, it doesn't run everywhere , but if you have a rock that has a real slope, you may want to shore it up.

This may sound strange, but I use erasers to prop my rocks up because they don't move, they stick, they sit there and don't really move much. That rubber helps the rock stay still. So I use erasers if I have to level my rocks for any reason, uh, yeah. They usually steal them from my kids, so I cured my gel under light for 120 seconds and now I'm using holographic powder and an eye makeup sponge that has never been used in eye makeup. It actually comes with the holographic powder when you buy it on amazon um so I keep them and yeah I reuse them all the time look at the rainbow that's happening it's like magic I told you magic was going to happen it's magic powder now I'm going to use my handy dandy desk broom which is just a fan brush oh hi fitbit and I use the fan brush to wipe off all the excess glitter once I've rubbed it over the letters.

I just want to get rid of all the leftover stuff before I re-resin the rocks, so I just wipe it off and it stays, everything stays where it's supposed to be and now we have rainbow rocks, they are so beautiful, I love them. I've done the same process with each stone and they all look really great, I'm really happy with I love that holographic rainbow, it's so beautiful, but like I said you can use all kinds of different chrome powders, glitter powders that are for nails. I'll leave you links in the description. Now I have given my stones a resin bath. and I just want to show you that even though you've resined them, the letters haven't changed, they still look just as beautiful and colorful, but now we can appreciate the background a little more and we can see what these rocks look like.

They look in their natural beauty like they would look underwater in Lake Superior, so yes, that's how they were meant to be seen, but with a little inspiration from them, I had a lot of fun, I hope I taught you something special today. uh, take a look at the description for more information.
