2 Monthly Stock Up Kroger and Walmart Grocery Hauls

shopping for you so today's video will be strictly

grocery

shopping one will be from Walmart and the other one from Kroger, so I'm going to Start with Kroger, I still have to film the Walmart, so I'll start with the Kroger grocery haul, uh, and then we'll get to Walmart, everyone, so here's our grocery haul from Kroger. I still have to order some. stuff from Walmart, but don't go to the grocery store when you're hungry and you haven't eaten anything during the day, but I actually bought things that we needed and some snacks that in a way are also necessary throughout the day, okay, so let's start again here, I kind of try to separate it, produce dairy, normal pantry items, deli meats and snacks, so again we're in the garage, so I have a head of lettuce, a cucumber, um, and that's more for salad .

I also bought some tomatoes, avocados. Now I haven't had avocados and I don't know how many weeks now and I missed them, so I was really happy to see them on sale, so I bought some avocados, another bag of onions and these, uh, these. They are four peaches, they are very big and they are not ripe, but they still have some hardness and those are nectarines. There are three of those. I love nectarines and peaches to eat like this, but peaches, as you know, also peel them, cut them and put them in milk and sugar as a sweet garnish for your dinner or any meal, but they still have to ripen now that they were on sale.

The regular price was like three-something a pound. sale for 249 a pound, but digital, we had a digital coupon for 99 cents a pound for either one so I got 99 cents a pound for both so that's a good deal and they're pretty big too. You don't usually see them this big at the grocery store, so those are our, uh, our products and I bought another bag of flour tortillas. I know I want to make some, but I always like to have them on hand for a quick snack or meal because it could be like a midday or late night snack, you can have a quesadilla or, you know, a bean and cheese burrito or taco. , so I always like to have those on hand and hot dog buns because I bought some hot dogs and I'll probably end up eating hot dogs after making this video because now I'm even more starving, so I bought a six-pack of juice pineapple.

I already said this before. I love pineapple juice. When I open cans of pineapple, I drink all the juice. Right away, and then Lando Lakes Butter got five of them. What a deal with those digital coupons 299 per block, so it's one pound blocks, four bars in each, and you can use it up to five times in one purchase, so I got five of them, so 299 for Lando Lakes, a great deal, I got 18 count large eggs. Oh, I miss the old price of eggs that used to be on sale, 97 cents when the regular price was like a dollar, 19 to 1.48 somewhere out there now.

It's almost five dollars for 18 pieces, I have some taco tortillas, like I said we're going to have leftover tacos tonight and I think we have three or four tortillas so we'll need a couple more and then we'll have a little more for another serving of tacos It's got a little bit of bacon in it, uh, bacon, it actually works really well, yeah, bacon is expensive, it was on sale for 4.99 and I usually cut it in half and then we get three or four servings of this and we get a good amount of strips in each serving so I try to make bacon work for the money so get my money's worth with a few items to

up on.

Glenn likes that on his hot dogs and sometimes he makes his own tartar sauce to go with it. It was quick so I bought two of those and I actually bought them some tartar sauce when we had our fish fries on Fridays. I bought four cans of these mexicorns. I don't know if you've ever had them, but they're good, but. They are small cans, so I bought four. We'll definitely use two in each setting, serving a can of small diced tomatoes. We have some, but again, it's like

ing up a little at a time and some chili beans with hot chili sauce.

I'll be making chili tomorrow night and I have two cans of refried beans with chorizo, I'd like to have those on hand and four cans of giant green peas, uh, that's for Glenn, he likes peas and he's very brand specific, so Green Giant is their brand. half a gallon of milk two uh two tubes of these sour or sweetened cream and onion pringles. I love sour cream and onion pringles and since we snack when playing rummy, we haven't really eaten any snacks while playing this. week, so yeah, shut up, Glenn says, tell them how many times I beat you, hey, I'm getting better, so I have two of those things to have on hand, I have this bag of soft bacon bits for our salads, um, profitability in these bags.

Also this is a mega package but it's a nine ounce bag and it was like six six something six and with some change there was a three ounce bag for everyone between three and four dollars so to equal this nine ounce bag you would be paying three six nine ten ten to twelve dollars to equal this, so yes, sometimes you have to calculate the ounces and the costs before you choose the smallest or the largest so it can work either way, but yes, that will be for we. salads um yeah okay stuff for lunch we got some hot dogs some brown schweiger we got bologna this is a thick cut and some ham and like I told Glenn even if we don't have anything of this immediately, we can throw it in the freezer. uh the packages of ham and bologna, cut them up, you know, divide them in half, throw them in the freezer and you just take out what we're going to eat for about a day, so it's deli meats and snacks, plus the pringles. cookies, these are lemon sandwich cookies and that was just a dollar eighty-nine um, I don't know, crumbs, dilly, dilly-ishes, I don't know if that's the brand and some duplex sandwich cookies, again, just snacks when we play rummy or just want to have snacks during the day or if we go fishing we have some quick snacks.

I know I make a lot of desserts by baking and I just make things without baking. I make a lot of desserts, but sometimes you just need quick snacks at home, so I bought some bow-shaped frozen molasses cookies for Glenn. He loves them and has been eating them for years and you can't always find them so I bought them for him and lastly I bought some cheese popcorn which Glenn loves. I wanted the cheese hot. Make a hot cheese one, but they didn't have it, so I bought them cheese and some crinkle-cut fries, so we keep our table in the middle of the garage.

Let me see, I'll show you this is our garage. This is half of our garage so we have a good sized garage and the middle of the floor is empty so we put this table here so we can start like I don't want to drag things in and out so I said let's just do the grocery hauling videos here, so we put this table up and we can eat here at this table and play Remy and we keep our sodas under there. The soft drink is also for sale. Normal price three or not. There is no more price for. a six pack of sixteen point nine ounce bottles is five sixty nine, they were on sale four for twelve dollars and there was a digital coupon to take off another 25 bucks or so, so yeah, that's where we keep our sodas in the garage below these. the table where they are out of the way, so okay, that's our Kroger grocery haul.

Oh, and I forgot. I had these in the freezer so I bought some ice cream, also strawberry surf and chocolate chips because we have ice cream. There were cones left so I bought some ice cream for that okay so the Walmart order was delivered again because we paid for a whole year of Walmart delivery or whatever so far we better use the service instead to spend the money. with gas to go get them and that's also less time for me at Walmart so that's okay so to start we have four tubs these are eight ounce tubs of whipped topping I always like to have these on hand in the freezer for simple desserts. tostitos I also like to have them on hand for nachos, I bought some lighter fluid and a big jar of soft banana pepper rings for Glenn.

He actually likes spicy, but he can't seem to find the spicy ones anymore, they're all mild, but eh. I have a bee, I have a bee hitting my head, so, yeah, he likes to put it on like he would put summer sausage on crackers. He likes to put yellow peppers in there and sometimes he uses them on pizza too so I have a Pillsbury pizza crust so we had a last minute change in what we're having for dinner tonight and we were going to do barbecue but we decided we'll do it tomorrow because this weekend, today is Sunday yesterday and today has been kind of like fall days in the 60s, rainy, windy, cloudy and tomorrow it's supposed to be sunny, so tomorrow we're going to have a barbecue, like this which with that last minute I went ahead and bought a pizza crust and we're going to make pizza tonight and then yeah, that's mine linda double chocolate milk chocolate chocolate chocolate truffles I say that three times um I haven't had them in a long time , but glenn wanted a chocolate bar, so I usually buy truffles because that's my choice instead of a chocolate bar, yeah.

I actually ordered the smaller bag, the five ounce bag, and received a text message with the replacement at the same price. They gave me a larger bag, the 8.5 ounce bag, for the same cost as a smaller bag, so of course I'll take it. We have some bagels and have never had this brand. We usually buy Tom Thomases and this was also a substitution and there are only five in these so we'll see, we'll see how they taste. We have some garbage bags. Did they just happen to be there? Yes, we needed garbage bags, so I got them with a bag of shredded potato chips.

Now Glenn likes fries, where I like fries burgers, so I usually end up cooking them both. A three-pound tube of ground beef. I have a little. pepperoni for tonight's pizza and I'm going to put pepperoni and pineapple on my side and glenn is going to have jalapenos are you going to put yellow peppers on the rib yellow peppers mushrooms onions and I'm using yellow peppers black olives yeah, so that's it what you are going to have on your side has a little seasoned salt since we are about to finish the canned goods regretted the shaking we have three small cans of mushroom chunks and the reason I buy small cans versus large cans is if I get a big one.

I can use a couple of pieces and then it keeps in the refrigerator, so for me the small cans are better. I can use them right away and I don't have to worry about keeping them in the refrigerator for how long and the bottled sauce holds eight cans, no. ten cans, this is what we use for our tacos and other mexican foods, the green can is like a jalapeno salsa and the yellow can is actually much spicier than the green can, so the last two times we made tacos, all I ate was the yellow can, oh my gosh, was it spicy for me last time we made tacos for Glenn's birthday?

I used the yellow can and it was spicy. I actually had to drizzle sour cream on the meat and mix it in, and it was still spicy. spicy so I can't wait until I go back to the green cans so I bought five cans of the green elbatto and five of the yellow ones. I use the yellow ones when I make homemade sauce, so I have them on hand. of sauce again I bought the small cans and I basically have ketchup on hand for when I make a noodle so I bought eight cans of ketchup I bought some gallon storage bags I bought cream cheese for the bagel this is from strawberry and this is a larger container.

This is 15 and a half ounces and Walmart is the only place I've seen it and then I bought two two-packs of cream cheese, so four total and these weigh eight ounces each again, just like the whipped topping that I got like. I have cream cheese on hand for desserts, so they basically go in the freezer. Fried cheese. I use this for jalapenos for jalapeños. I use it for nachos. Glenn obviously likes jalapeño cheddar. I like the soft one. I bought two for him and one for me because I already have it. one has one in the house, so it's two and two, so I would like to have them for nachos, basically dipping your tostitos and cheese, uh, garlic powder, I have some garlic powder, I have some pizza sauce for tonight, eventually, yeah, I like to try to make our own pizza sauce because we don't use a lot of it, so a lot of it I don't know, you can take it or leave it, I guess I have a package of bacon.

This is a great value brand so I only bought one. because I want to see how it tastes compared to the Kroger brand. The Kroger brand is very thin, which is fine for me, but it has a really good smoky flavor, which I said good, but I don't really like smoky flavor, so I want to.to see how good the value of uh versus

tastes and I'm glamorous a couple of king size chocolate bars there's a milky way and snickers um so yeah I prefer my truffles uh lindar to chocolate bars and he likes his chocolate bars so we also have a bag of charcoal because we are grilling tomorrow and probably a couple of times this week because we have some brats in the freezer we have burgers so yeah this is the second of two grocery
