hello ed diaz, here in today's video we are going to learn about the

rhythm

patterns

that are available inside the

roland

phantom oh okay let's get started, inside the phantom there are

rhythm

patterns

so premade rhythms that you can use for presentation in alive and also in their sequencing, so let's go ahead and learn where they are and how to access them. Alright, I'm going to go ahead like I always do, press a single tone and I'm just going to delete a quick scene that I can go ahead and use so we can have it, so now let's go ahead and take a look at the rhythm patterns.

Just look at this button here and press it and it will take you to the rhythm patterns. if we take a look, we have a bunch of presets, press enter, if red is highlighted, press open and you can see everything that is available. I'm going to go ahead and use my knob to cycle through the 59 different rhythm patterns there are. available okay so we'll go ahead and start here on rock one press okay these are designed when you go ahead and press on the screen we could throw in the different intros or fillers versus or endings right here so let's go ahead and throw in a verse. now in pattern a, so we can listen to, maybe verse two and I can go ahead and stop it here.

Now there's a big thing. I can go ahead, start and stop by tapping the screen, but I can also stop the beats by pressing the stop button. button here so I can go ahead and play verse 2 and press stop there. I can choose any kit I want. You could say well, let's go ahead and use a studio kit that's cool or let's use a pop kit. that sounds good to me, please use the pop kick. I have it on verse 1 set to the key trigger so we can listen to it this way, maybe it goes to a fill here, it comes, notice it's going to stay there and then it stays. moment when I move on to the next kit there we go, let's go ahead and do another fill so it can be a really fun way to have fun with the different rhythm groups uh that are inside the ghost oh, let's go ahead and take a look. in another I'm going to go ahead and go to a pop group here once again I can turn the dial but I really like to press enter so I can see everything that's available to me and we're going to use the knob and let's go Down and look at some others, these could be really good for inspiration.
You can use them within a sequence.
