So after my alarm goes off, I may use it a couple of times, but I try to get up and not stay in bed too long and then I always make my bed first thing. It just helps me start the day with a clean room and a clean mind And then I usually check my phones for any text messages from last night that I missed And then I always check the weather because Boston weather is pretty variable and I like to be prepared for the day and pick out my clothes and then I go to the hallway bathroom and brush my teeth.

I wash my face for my skincare routine and get ready for the day. I don't do this every morning, but I try to do some yoga and stretch a little because I usually get sore right when I wake up and I find that stretching helps me prepare better for the day and puts me in a great mood. And I love doing yoga, so I'm working on my practice. And then I do it. This every day I like to meditate for five to ten minutes because I find that it really helps me clear my mind and focus and get rid of all the noise and distracting thoughts that I'm always thinking about.

So I really hope you guys do too So after I'm ready for the day I have to study a little So my first class is Korean and I'm just doing a little homework for it My handwriting is a little Bad, I don't mind Judge, but I'm trying to get better. And then I just packed my bag for the day and made sure I had everything and got ready for my first class. Most days I have time to eat breakfast in Room D. But today I didn't, so I just went and had a green juice.
My first class of the day, it's Korean and it's at Northwest Labs, so I had it there. Oh, it's fine. This is my section leader singing the eastern song and she is amazing. I love her. I speak Korean every day and I have a lot of fun in this class. Then I'll go to lunch and this is Annenberg, the freshman dining hall, and this is where we eat all of our meals. Thank you. And this year. They put in a plant-based section, which always makes me so happy. I always want to hug the cafeteria workers every time I see the amazing vegan food they made.
Then, this is my friend Jonathan and earlier we were grabbing a quick lunch. our classes and he was showing off his tattoo. Then I head to my Women's and Gender Studies class, which is my favorite class, and I look forward to it every week. And then, once classes were over for the day, we all headed to the Smith Center. , which is the Campus Center and I have a job there, so I work at one of the desks and I just give people directions and tell them where the bathroom is and I have to do my homework while I'm doing it, so it's a job pretty good.
And I usually sit there for about two or three hours. That's usually the length of one of my shifts. After I finish my shift, I get a text from one of my friends saying that we should go study on the grass in front of Widener Library because it's such a beautiful day. So let's put down a little blanket and study, but also be silly. Ah, this is one of my very good friends from back in the day, and she is a third year student. So I'm always happy when she wants to go out with a freshman like me and then after we studied it we had to go to Tante's for some coffee and like for afternoon drinks and study some more together.
We were actually doing our taxes together, which was pretty fun. We both have no idea how to do taxes and we are helping each other. He used to let me buy. her coffee and then I bought mine. And Tata is a favorite among Harvard students because she has very good food and coffee and she has a very nice atmosphere. So I always come here to study and then after my day I actually get to work on a draft of one of my papers for my expository class, which is like our expository writing class, which is a requirement for all first year students.
Sometimes if I really need to focus I go to a Widener, but I really like the vibe of coffee shops and the type. of background noise So I really study a lot in cafeterias and then I go back to the Berg, which is what we call the freshmen dining hall, and I go to dinner with my very good friend Lucy. And then after dinner we decided to go work out, which I usually like to do before dinner and I was really full so it probably wasn't the best idea. But we went and did some cardio. So I like to go on the elliptical machines and I usually do something like an hour.
Maybe 45 minutes if I'm short on time and then I always listen to music because it helps me work out better. So I'm listening to BTS, of course, and making sure to stream Person's Map of the Soul because it's a really good album. And then there's us looking all sweaty, but very happy after an hour-long workout and then we just go to work. together some abs. I try to exercise about five days a week, but it doesn't always happen. So a few weeks. It's more like three weeks if it's really bad. It's more like a, but I always try to exercise because I think it's so important, especially as a student, you just deal with stress and work your body, you sweat and it really helps. like my mental health and mental clarity.
I think it's very important and then I always make sure I stretch and then straight from the gym. I'm heading to the women and business committee meeting and this is my chair, Samantha. She is so cute I love her so much. I really love my committee. We had lots of fun. And then when I get back, it's just after nine at night. So I just take a shower and get ready for bed. That's me goofing around trying to be cute and then after I've done my skincare routine, I'm completely ready for bed. I put on my pajamas and read a little and these are the walls of Virginia all the way to the lighthouse.
So I always like to read before bed because I think it's a lot healthier than being on your phone. Even though I'm definitely on my phone, you know, put your phone down right now, it's close to midnight and I just turn off the light and go to bed with all that again the next day. Oh really?
