didn

't just come out in a steel that I am.
i didn t think i would ever find my perfect fixed blade is this it

More Interesting Facts About,

i didn t think i would ever find my perfect fixed blade is this it...

If you're not familiar, they're amazing, what do we have? I hope so, they are good. They gave me the bill, so I was going to say what do I do. We have something from Demco, a big long box that is a

fixed

blade

. You know that I have very few. I mean, you know I have a lot of

fixed

leaves. I

think

I'm 10 or 11 um, but not much less. Like many, I refer to my collection of pocket knives. I have over 200 pocket knives, so I'm very picky when it comes to fixing dishes. Oh boy, what do we have here?
i didn t think i would ever find my perfect fixed blade is this it
I've always had this idea in my head as the

perfect

repair

blade

and I've handled so many repair blades that I thought they were pretty close, but I just

didn

't look at this guy, boy, this could be the free ring from Demco, USA. USA made Demco free rain, oh that man's retention. That's almost ideal, what a beautiful repair sheet. Holy Moly. I love it. I look for totally different things when it comes to fixing blades, as opposed to folding knives. I have folding knives in my collection that I use and carry and don't really care what. happens to them uh obviously I don't want to break them or lose them but yes, I will use them.

I have foldable knees in my collection. I'll use them, but I'm a little more reserved and then I have folding knives. in my collection, which are absolutely safe Queens, they don't break in or wear at all. Every fixed blade I have is used. No, I don't really care if it gets dirty or what

ever

. I just have a totally different mindset when it comes to it. to fix blades, so I have a bunch that I use, but I like to, you know, change them out and use different ones periodically, usually it's when I'm outside, but I'll tell you what, this is not my favorite holster. all over the world, but it's okay, what

ever

it is.
I don't really care too much about the sheath, it's the knife itself really. I love this rubber grip man. I love this. I don't need super exotic material on my fixed blades. um, it's just comfortable, the only reservation I had was that that space between the guard and the end of the stock

would

be enough for my hand and it is for my hand if your hands are even a little bigger than mine, I use a XL. glove, this may be uncomfortable for you, but if your hands are my size or smaller, this free rain is amazing, oh man, there's the Tang, I love that it sticks out, probably not, obviously I won't use it for like If you only knew Hammer this into anything.
I feel like you know the only downside to the rubber grip is that it's not durable if you hit it with another tool or grind it into the pavement or something, but it will be good enough. I know what I'm going to use it for, what I like about it is the comfort and the grip and when you squeeze it, it molds slightly to your hand because it's not a G10 or something harder, plastic or whatever, but I really like, uh, how it looks and feels, that's the other thing for me. I mean, this is as classic as it gets. um, you know, for a knife, I like the look of it.
So many fixed sheets. I'm like a cool blade, but the handle. it's like why is it a robot with holes like why did you do that um that bench made dagger is what I'm talking about it's so weird right or the handle looks cool and then the blade is that thin Goofy and I I understand that different Blades have different purposes, right, um, but I just haven't been able to

find

something that has the most ideal combination, um, I, and there are a lot of fixed blades out there that I haven't experienced, honestly, for free. reign at number one.
I'm just a big fan of the democrat code, but there is another dem ccoe fix blade that looks very, very good and has the rubber handle and is a 10A that I'm not too crazy about. I understand that it's okay, right? but in this case I was not willing to pay much more. I mean, it was a $200 repaired blade. The other repaired blade in Demo's line was like 130 150 something like that, not much more for number one. This one is actually made in the USA. another one was made in Taiwan, which is also cool, but I'm also cutting Magna here, which you already know.
I don't do enough extensive testing with my blades to be able to say if Magna Cut is really an ideal material for fixed blades. this geometry and for someone like me who doesn't live in the bush, just a normal guy, like home projects and little things like that, I have very little use for a fixed blade, so whether or not Magna Cut is the ideal steel, I don't know. HE. I don't know, but honestly, it's just for me, it came down to if I'm going to spend that much money, I want a premium all-purpose stainless steel like the Magna cut so I can feel good about throwing it in the toolbox or throwing it in my truck or whatever and not having to take care of it, that was the best thing for me about this Magna cut.
I mean, Spyderco uses it on some of their Salt series knives, so you won't really have to worry about it being too much um, I think it's thick and sturdy enough to give me the confidence I'm looking for in a fixed blade, check that one out. filo, man, it's literally, you can tell they put the same effort into these blades as they do in the US um, you know, like the ad20. I'm going to pull mine out if you're new and thinking, what do you mean the ad20 is made in Taiwan? Many people didn't realize that the 82.5 came after the ad20 the ad20 is this guy this is the original US ad20 which is much bigger than the 20.5 ad made in Taiwan.
You can see here not only is it bigger, this is the Taiwanese version, it's also substantially thicker, but I'm immediately looking at the leaves and I'm like, yeah, they're made in the same place, right? You can tell they're beautiful. I love the finish, which is like a real stonewash finish, like a heavy, tumbled material, right, it will look great over time if I really decide to. To overcome this, honestly, right now I have the new ZT fixed blade as my dedicated truck knife and I like it, I enjoy using it periodically. You know, having a knife right there in the truck is good if you need to cut something. but I think this could replace, I think the ZT could go in the garage toolbox and the free reign now will be the Knife Man truck, the amount of retention on that holster though is crazy, let's take a look at that, God, I think.
It's the rubber handle, oh okay, I guess now that I know what to expect, it's not as bad as I thought. Factory Edge, I'm sure it will be great if they sharpen them the same way they do the 8020, obviously this. It's not going to do it, but hey, boy, from the beginning, although I mean, I'm not even almost like an impact cutting the paper there, yeah, that's ready to bite, it sure has a good edge. Some people look at this. and let's say $200 for a fixed blade that's a lot of money for me it was an easy purchase you can think what you want but I'll tell you when I saw this and was able to get it in grey.
I love it. gray rubber tannel. I think it also comes in black and green and coyote, everything you would expect, but the rubber textured handle scale uh full tank construction Corte Magna made in the USA for 200 bucks and it's a Demco design. I said absolutely I have absolutely no problem paying that amount of money for this knife. I think this is fantastic, so I'm really happy that this actually ended up being what I hoped it would be. It's exactly the right size. I do not need it. I don't really like the big monster blades, it's just too much blade to want to use, it's extremely comfortable, the grip is as comfortable as you could ask for, the lockup is great, the texture is great and the fit and finish is great too for someone who isn't too enthusiastic about blade repair in general.
This is as

perfect

as it could get. You know, you ever asked for it. Great, check this out on DLT Trading.
