Duck Dynasty Family Grieving After the Worst Kind of Tragedy

I'm going to start this video with a quote from Missy Robertson that I think illustrates the weight of the

tragedy

family

is facing and the tone it is setting for the conversations to come. We will always miss them until we see them in the sky again, but make no mistake, they are there. I know we're about 30 seconds into this video and you still have no idea what happened, but I want to give you time to opt in before I share details that, frankly, will be too. painful for some, take care of yourself if you have ever lost a child or are simply prone to carrying the pain of others and are not in a position to show it.

It's Billy Dukes and this one hurts. Missy and Jace Robertson are familiar faces. Duck Dynasty fans, her son Reed is not that famous, but still, when he married Brighton Thompson in 2016, people noticed that Brighton's

family

was the one that suffered a double

tragedy

earlier this month, on the 14th. August, his sister-in-law Casey was driving her three children. to school along U.S. Highway 425 in Rayville, Louisiana, she slowed to make a left turn onto Buckles Road and the driver of the truck behind her did not realize the truck crashed into her and, according to Louisiana State Police, Casey Thompson's Chevy Suburban burst into flames upon impact.

I promised this video ends with a smile, even if it's with teary eyes, but first. The specifics who died in the accident were nine-year-old Brynn and seven-year-old Harrison Thompson. Brynn was Maris' mini mom and I was still trying to hold her the last time I saw Herison she had the cutest spunk and loved hunting with her dad and her uncle Reed there are pictures on Instagram of the kids including some of the kids themselves from Missy.
