Spring and Easter Decorate with Me

a couple of places in my kitchen that is still in renewal. So that's exciting, there's still a lot to do, but we're getting there slowly but surely. Here I'm just showing you some of the decor pieces I'm going to use. I'm not going to use it all, but I just wanted to spruce things up a bit, bring a little

spring

and life to the place, since you know being in a basement I don't get much daylight, so anyway, let's go.

I'm going to see what we can do, so I'm starting to put together this little basket. This is a porcelain BAS basket and those eggs are just the fake eggs from the Dollar Tree, I think, or it could have been Michaels, but you can. Look, there are some words on the back. I made that with my Cricut, they have words like hop, sherp, tails and savior on there. I had them in a larger basket one year, so this is a set I bought. from timu and I had some things that you'll see a little later on my three tier tray, but this was also there and I think it's too big for the tray, so I'm just putting it together, it's a bit of a banner and I'm going to hang it with a garland on my fireplace, most of this decor came from Hobby Lobby and I made a video of uh shopping Hall, a Decor shopping Hall uh, and if you didn't get a chance to see it, I can leave the link in the description, but I got great prices on everything, almost everything was half price or on the clearance rack, so now that we have everything ready, let's start decorating.

I had to light the fireplace just to make it cozy. It's funny how we want it to be stretchy and cozy, but I think a fire is good for all times of the year, so I bought this egg garland. I guess you call her. It was a tough time between garlands and banners, but I bought it at Dollar Tree anyway. It actually cost $3 instead of $125, but I'm trying to figure out that it's not long enough to go all the way across, but I'm going to Cut it here, you see, and yeah, I'm just using masking tape.

This is just a faux fireplace and it has been painted so if the finish comes off a little I can touch it up so I prefer to do that. to drill a hole or put a nail in or something and never mind all my lights and tripods there in the right corner I have to do what I can to get enough lighting here for these videos since I don't have windows with natural light nowhere, also that bunny pillowcase on the chair, the blue one. I also bought it at Dollar Tree and it's actually pretty decent quality for a dollar.

The only problem is that I have it on a striped pillow. so I have to find a solid piece of fabric to stick it in there so you can't see the stripes, it will be much cuter. I'm sure without that I love my little fireplace, although it makes the place very cozy and being in a basement you need it, but I love the way it makes the whole basement look finished and put together and I bought a few things. I'm going to make a frame around my TV to make it look like there's a picture above my fireplace, so that will appear in a future video, so stay tuned.

I'm excited. I'm just trying to figure out how to do it, so stay tuned. It will be exciting to finish it. I have plans for this vase. My intentions are to paint it cream like everything else here in my apartment. I want to paint this and a couple of other decorative pieces. A couple of vases I bought. That's not real. I like the color, I'm going to paint them too, but I need things to blend together, it's small down here so I don't want to be too crowded, sometimes I think maybe I have too many. things down here, but I hope that by painting most of those cream things they will blend in with everything else, so I also have a couple of pieces of furniture that are going to be painted, one of them is that secretary at the base of my stairs right behind me and I have a dresser in my room.

I'm mulling over the idea of ​​painting the furniture in my room, so I have a lot of things planned for the future, so if you're not a subscriber, consider doing so. I would really appreciate it and you won't miss any of my upcoming videos, so this is a basket I bought at a thrift store. I did a second hand purchase with me a while ago. So I can link it like well, if you want to see it, but it didn't have a handle, the handle was broken, but I loved the shape and size of it, and I wanted a basket to hang on my coat rack.

I love its appearance. those with flowers and you can know to change the flowers depending on the season, so I've had it for a while and was going to put a leather handle on it, but after looking at it I was having a hard time. It's time to put the juk rope in there so I don't think a leather handle would have worked but this turned out well and did the job and it looks like I wanted it to be seen so that's all that matters so my coat rack It's done. with the front of a dresser drawer that was painted white and those hooks are from Amazon, they came in a box of I don't know 15 or 20 of them and, uh, I really like the black on the white, it gives it a little pop . um, in addition to the shape of them, I'm filling my basket with some faux lavender stems. um, I'm not sure where they came from.

I bought them from a girl at work and um, but they're really high quality, so they're probably from Hobby Lobby or Michaels. I wasn't sure if lavender was necessarily a spring or summer flower but it looks like I wanted them to show up in the basket and they are faint and that's actually the look I was going for so I'm happy with that so we'll move on to my kitchen. This is one of the places we have been working on. Actually, it's not finished. I still have some things to do. I have to put the countertop in the cabinets. um, there's a piece of molding that needs to go on the front of this shelf and something and I have to put on some hardware for the cabinet, but now it's functional and I can use it, so despite all those things, I'm going to consider it.

For now it's finished, I just added a couple of pops of color with the carrot and eggs, this is going to be my coffee station, you see my little coffee maker there, um, but I'm going to add a few more things, all the decor here. It's not exactly how it's going to turn out. I want to find a bigger cutting board, where that coffee sign is and the things on the shelf probably won't stay exactly like that and you can see all the little things that need to be. finished, but I think I'm going to have a lot of little tweaks that I'll do for a while, but that's okay, I'm fine with that, mostly I just want to finish the big things and make my kitchen as fully functional as possible.

This area is the area my daughter completed with me in my last video. I think it was the second part of the kitchen renovation and she built the base to go under this counter and this is where my sink is. I'm going to go to where that mirror is on my right, my sink is going to be located directly below it so I won't have much space on either side, maybe a couple feet, but you know I have to have a sink so I'm going to deal with that when I was designing my three tier tray, as you see I keep dropping things and I was wondering what the heck, but after watching this video I see that the top tray is crooked so I'm going to have to bend.

That's behind me, but that's probably why things kept falling and giving me difficulties. My favorite part is that he has risen, since he said that Jesus is the keeper of promises, he told us that he would die, be buried and resurrect after the third day and that is exactly what he did.
