You want to use a strong glue and I'm actually going to put the glue on. the inside rim of this pot here and you can probably use hot glue, as well as any type of strong glue you have is fine. I was just going to put it in there like this this way they'll grab and then with this one, I'm going to put a little bit of glue on the top around the pot here and also on the bottom of the ball, do you want to let them dry or not? , like letting them sit there for about 30 seconds or so before.

More Interesting Facts About,

clay pot snowman...

Go and gather them, we're going to need them too. I'm going to put that right there to liven it up. I have some black felt for his hat, some orange felt for his nose and then this is just a piece of tan. fleece that I had, you know, it's like the elastic that I'm going to use for the scarf. I'm also going to weave in some Baker's thread with hot glue and googly eyes and when this is all done, we're going to spray paint. he's white, so I'm going to go and sit this up here, make sure it's straight and centered, okay, you want to let this dry.
clay pot snowman
I would probably spend a good 24 hours letting this dry completely and then when it's all. dry, take it outside and give it a few coats of regular Walmart brand spray paint and we're going to come back and finish them up, so I'll see you in a few minutes. Guys, we're back, our snowman piece or it is. dry now what we're going to do is go ahead and make his hat and I have a piece of felt, just regular black felt, I think it's about 5 inches wide by eight, yeah, five by n and I've got my glue gun heated up and I What I'm going to do is put a little bead of glue along one of the long ends and then fold this over this way we can create your little band for your hat, okay, so just bring that all up, just. or hold it for a minute to let it dry or take hold okay do the same thing with another drop of glue and I need another glue stick here okay so go ahead and fold it now that the glue is really hot you can probably see.

It's smoking and you're looking at maybe a half inch or so of your fold and that glue is hot. Okay, leave it there and make contact first. Okay, now what you're going to do is take this glue. from my hand that was warm, okay, that's it, now you're going to take it and wrap it around the bowl with the edge facing outwards and as I do that, I'm going to put a little bit of glue on the hat, a little bit and just put it there and we're going to work around the whole snowman and you're leaving enough room there for his face to get a little bit more glue and I'm going a little bit at a time and we get all the way here we're going to go ahead and cut it out and I think 5 inches was too much, but we're going to go ahead and trim it, he's just going to continue to fill a nice and pull, okay, then when I get there, I'm going to go and cut this off, okay, and then if you have an opening, you can go in there with a little bit of glue and just put the felt together, that's G. the back of your hat anyway, now this is too much, let's go and cut some of this off.
I'm going to cut about an inch, so I'll say you'll probably need a piece that's about 4 inches wide. It felt good, so it looks like now you're going to take your scissors and cut about an inch down. I assume they are Little Slice brands and if you don't have sense you can certainly use a sock. I've seen people make snowmen. hats with socks, okay, so we've got that, now we're going to take some twine or Baker's twine, whatever you have, you're going to cut a little bit of this and go around it, you're going to tie this in a knot.
I'm going to First put it together just to get my shape. I'm going to tie that in a knot. You can go as loose as you want here or as tight. I like it a little tight. Make it tight. Hold it with one of my. fingers and then grab another knot, okay, and we can go ahead and cut this whole thing off or if you want at this point you can tie a um, a bow on it. I'm going to go and flip the front of my snam. I don't want it to be right, so go ahead and pull out some of these felt pieces to separate the hat a little bit, isn't that cute?
Well, then here, if you want, you have a little left. to tie that into a little bow for the front of her hat I want the bow to be ginormous ok the bow looks cute grab and cut off the tails my scissors have a dent so they're not very sharp so that's what the hat looks very cute now for the scarf. I only have a piece of wool. I'm going to go ahead and cut two of these here and they're 3/4 inch and the way that The cut of the fleece is where when you pull it it fills like this so I'm going to pull these like this so it looks really fluffy and again, you can use fabric if you want even any type of material. now I'm going to take a little bit more of this Baker column because I want this to happen with a scarf and I'm going to keep these two together, take one of these, I need to go ahead and cut it off, now you can do that.
As many strands as you want, I'm going to go ahead and make three. I think this is a really nice Baker TN it's got a white with metallic gold okay so we've got our scarf pieces here our fce and our Bakers so I cut out. the baker's pig is longer than my scarf, okay, take it and wrap it around your snowman, just tie a little overhand knot and push all that in, pull it out the bottom, okay, one more, it's hard when you do it with the yarn because you get a little confused, so I have three strands of yarn that I need to get through and there's not much room for your fingers, so I have two pieces of yarn, there we go, I have all my yarn and both pieces of fleece. just go and tie a little knot.
I'm going to tie it on one side and then when you're done, go ahead and cut the thread. I like the yarn, like I said, a little Sparkle, don't you. You have to do that if you don't want to, okay, so now her little hat matches her scarf, right now for the face you're going to take, if you want, you can use googly eyes. I liked the googly eyes. I'm going to grab those, I don't know how small they are, but they're pretty small, okay, so I've got them. I'm just going to take a little dollop of hot glue down the brim of your hat, okay, kind of like that. and then a little one right there, okay, I'm going to put his eyes on him, he's coming together, see?
He's super cute, I love the snowman, okay, so let's have his eyes on, let's just make sure that They are even for the nose. just a piece of a piece of orange felt or you can use craft foam construction paper, even an orange marker, okay, I'm going to put a doll up there for his nose, just a little bit, all the strands of glue will come off when this. Okay, so let me get rid of that strand of glue there and then for the mouth, just a marker and I did it. I did it pretty hard, you know, so it wasn't perfect because you know, if you remember how to make a snowman, you'll see.
We're just putting stones in there and the stones don't always have the same shape, but there you have it very nice, right, oh, we have buttons, okay, let's make our buttons. I have three buttons here. In fact, I'm going to use these little silver buttons. So again just put a small amount of glue. I line it up with the one on your nose, there's one, two, and three, and again the glue threads, we'll worry about them when this is all dry, so there's a button and if you don't have buttons, you know you can wear jewelry if you have those little gems.
I think it's super beautiful. I love him. It's cute and it's not perfect. And okay, like I said, it's handmade, so there's that one. and then there's this one, this one here I went and put rhinestones inside the buttons because I had extra glue sticking out and this one, I'm getting off a plane, but I think it's really super cute and you know, like I said, pretty easy to make. um any questions guys please let me know as always thank you so much for watching have a great day and I'll see you next time bye.
