week

end

chores

and let's go ahead and get started. I'm very glad you're here. I feel like I'm just starting out in the kitchen and I'm really just washing a few small dishes. My children have a lot of tasks here in our house.

Michaela's job is to load the dishwasher and start it, and Aiden's job is mine. The oldest son has to empty the dishwasher and the drainer, now they know it's summer so the summer rule is if we go to bed and there are dishes in the sink or

clean

dishes in the dishwasher then they have to get up early with mother. wash those dishes so I don't have to wash them because that's their expectation so they've been really good about being on top of it because they want to sleep in. It has been very motivating for them if you have teenagers or older.

Kids I suggest you try it, it really worked and what you see me doing is just filling my porcelain sink with some bleach water. I try to do this at least once a

week

to keep the sink very white, so I put very hot water and then just a little bit of disinfectant bleach to breathe I want you to pay attention to my spray bottle here, it's actually one that you would use For the hair. It usually lives upstairs in the bathroom where I do the kids' hair, but I was left without a counter cleaner. spray, so I grabbed this spray bottle because I couldn't find another one, they had put them all in the recycling bin, so I filled it with some grapefruit cleaner method.

I have one of the big bottles to refill and hey, do what you have. make during quarantine ok, it worked, let's just hope no kids spray their hair with it, moving on to the stove and oven, probably two of my least favorite things to clean in the entire house. We had made some homemade pizzas that were spread all over the bottom of the oven so I'm just going to spray that easy remover let it sit for about half an hour it says about 20 minutes if it's a cold oven so I gave it about half an hour and it worked great, as does this degreaser, and it doesn't smell too bad, which is a plus. No, no, and as if by magic, we shine again, thank God. Then I went ahead and used my women's stainless steel cleaner to clean the rest of the stove and replace the grates.

I love this stove. We make a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches and pancakes on that center griddle. I know I was wrong, yes. I know I did you wrong, but now I learned my lesson. What if we could remember the good? Oh, back to the sink, now you'll see me use the scrub to remove the plug. It's because the water was still super hot and I didn't want to burn my fingers and then I just rinsed it and put the plugs away and it was new and fresh and clean give me a chance yeah baby trap class just fun and wake up believe it , make that we used to be.

I've been getting a lot of comments lately about how clean my house is despite the four rowdy kids. who live here and I want you to know that it doesn't always look like this, that's for sure, however, we try very hard to be on top of picking up and putting away toys upstairs to minimize the mess downstairs, it wasn't always like this. I'll tell you that, but my kids are growing up, the youngest is four, the oldest is 13 and we are trying so hard to teach the young ones to put away their things and be proud of their home and I think some days it's working.

They are better than others, but it's just a matter of getting better throughout the day, not letting things get too bad and waiting until the end of the day to put it all aside because then it's overwhelming, so we make it a little throughout the day. the day usually after breakfast, after lunch and then before dinner, try it, try this one, believe it, we can do it, make it one of my most important weekend tasks of course is doing

which You can imagine, there are a lot in a house with so many. people, but I try to make it work all the time I'm

There's a little greeting from my lion kitty. Another great tip I can give you for a large family is to teach older children to wash their own clothes so they can wash yours. My daughter washes, folds dry and hangs all her clothes without being asked and she knows that if she wants something clean she has to wash it herself, she knows how to do it and we teach her by putting stickers on the washing machine so she knows exactly what to turn the washing machine on and how much soap to put in and it's been a lifesaver so teach your kids to wash their own clothes, they'll have to learn to do it eventually, I was thirsty than when I first came in.

I saw you, those green eyes caught me yes, it was crazy it was a Friday night when I kissed you for the first time it hit me like lightning you broke my chains that freed me it's on the couch in your apartment no, I'm not the same anymore everything has changed every day 24/7 you get to this point it was time to go ahead and clean the oven so I wiped everything easy with a damp cloth and then took the all purpose cleaner in the oven cleaner grapefruit mesfet. and I just used a clean paper towel to make sure there wasn't any residue left from the Easy Off.

I don't know why those things scare me, so I wanted to make sure everything was gone and then I'm going to go ahead and water all the plants in my house. What I usually do is water them on Sundays, so I know what day of the week I am watering them and I don't wonder if they have been watered or not. watered that week not all plants are watered every week my snake plants are not watered every week it's probably once a month or a little more sometimes in the summer but I try to do it the same day every week, so I know it's being done.

This is a cornhole game that Ronan got for his birthday and it's cool because it all goes together and then you put it away in one piece, so I'll save it so I can water the plants. In the living room it is also very important to expose your plants to the sun, so if they do not receive much sun where they are in your house, move them to a window at least once a week and let them sit there for several hours to I can make some products and then I'm

I don't always show this because it's so small and hard to film, but I'm using a new cleaner, it's actually from Scentsy and it's their bathroom cleaner, it's in the blue grotto scent, which is really fruity and delicious, and I have to say I loved using this cleanser, it seemed to work really well and it smelled amazing when I was done so I highly recommend checking it out. their cleansers when I found out they had a cleanser I absolutely had to try it and I'm so impressed to leave already packing come with me. I'm not really asking that we escape to a place where we don't know the world. in action as long as we can live without distractions, so stay away, this is Bob we were waiting for, take my hand, we will make it somehow, we can't miss the chance to climb the stairs.

I went into the boys' bathroom. I say that the children's bathroom is nice though. The only person who uses this is Makayla and she usually doesn't clean his bathroom. She is in charge of keeping her bathroom tidy and clean. However, I try to go in once a week and do a deep clean. One thing you didn't see me do was clean the shower and that's because she was about to use it and I didn't want her to be in there with all that cleaning product so I'll go back and clean it probably on a day when this is done. stagger I waited.

This room is probably a place you can't leave your favorite room. clean up that's just because it's so hard to keep it up it's bigger than it looks here on camera it's a pretty big space and I love having it because it's a big playroom the kids have their own TV up here this is where they have their play unit this is where we keep the Ames lizard all our books the couch is very comfortable it's a great place to spend the night away from home and build forts but it's very hard to keep him up when you have so many toys in one area I just showed you , the TV remote, we have it taped to a clipboard so it doesn't get lost because we've lost a lot of remotes, so mom, tip number 500, put it on a clipboard.

I don't really need friends, so it plays when I'm watching. for someone who can play, wants to hang out with me asking for circles and what. The kids room wasn't too bad. I usually don't clean their room for them. I usually supervise them cleaning, but for the sake of this video I just wanted to do it real quick. I can get it. done in a matter of minutes, which would take them two hours because they get distracted by toys and wrestling you know, so I went ahead and cleaned this up now that I have all three kids here, so Ryan sleeps in the kid's bed and then Griffin and Ronan sleep on this IKEA bed which technically isn't a bunk bed it's a loft bed we have it upside down and it works perfectly when you have younger kids and you don't want them to be on very high bunk beds this works perfectly and we have their humidifier down there and I recently cleaned and organized this room so I'll have that video linked at the top and also a card.

It was such a big job that Danny and I tackled it together and finally I just wanted to vacuum, Michaela in Eden's room does a good job keeping her room clean and organized so I just vacuumed it for them and that was it for the day I didn't make my room because Ryan is actually sleeping.
