New Car?! Atomic Speedway - 9/17/2022

We weren't running, uh, yeah, we took a week, a couple weekends off, one weekend we went to Kentucky to see my family and then the next weekend, we had a lot of things to do and we're here at Atomic Cole and I've never raced here before, Cole and I came to see him in 2020, so we're going to try our luck here, call him very excited, he's nervous too, here he comes, there, we just went and looked at the track.

Well, I think it's okay. I think it's going to be fine. It's a new track and everything is fine. I am nervous. It's not that we didn't like the lightning bolt, but Cole always wanted this car ever since Jesse the wise Carver had it, so we had the opportunity to buy it so we could get the good equipment here, get the right equipment and we'll see. I felt pretty good, it seems like I can steer this with my pinky, but if we get to the end of the straight, it's like hitting the chip a little bit, so we're going to do a couple things and, I finished in 10th place out of 34 cars by night, so it went really good, one guy said we look pretty good, uh, I don't know, everyone went, but I still think the car looks good, feels good, we just have to get it out of there.

I'm super proud of him. This is a new car, first time we raced it. I couldn't be more proud that he has loved the car so far, something that took him a while to do with the lighting and before we sold the lighting we fixed a bunch of things we didn't even know about. what was wrong with it, so I'm a little sad that we couldn't delete it after we did all that work and fixed it, but Paul loves this car, he's not doing anything different to it right now for the future except grinding tires like this who just finished doing that.

The car was unloaded and the trailer was unloaded. We stayed up very late last night. We didn't get home until 4:30 this morning. Well, the payout winner took forever, so he turned us back. We waited at the payment window for approximately 30 to 45 minutes. and there were some people who had been there longer than us, but last night was fun, we only had a two or two hour drive and that's why it took us to get home so late, but the payment window took a long time, but it was fun I mean, it was definitely worth going.

I think yeah, I did, so I think I did better than I thought I was going to do to be honest, but other than, yeah, he's knocking out the rankings. We changed gears and after that car we felt good. I mean, I wish we'd started a little better, you know, qualifying-wise, but I mean, 10th place out of 34 cars really isn't that bad, I guess, plus they got some of the best sports mods there, so yeah , we ran with the best of the best, that was definitely a good night, I mean, I didn't tell you where it started before the show, it started sixth in the show and I ended up finishing seventh, which is phenomenal.

I couldn't have asked him. He liked to turn the wheel all night and he could basically drive this car with his pinkies. Oh yeah, it's definitely the best steering car I've ever owned. I just can't wait to try it again. We had problems with our truck on the road, well it's not really a problem, we have an older truck now and the car was too far forward on the trailer so it was swaying a lot and the truck's steering was a little off but He said, I think. The car drove better than my truck and you all will have to excuse my congestion.

I had it last night. I can't make this cold sinus infection go away. I don't even know if I told everyone. this, but we are not into modifications, we are into sport modifications, this car was used and modified, but we were using it with sport bars. I can't even remember if I told you all that, I'm sure some people are. those who know this car were wondering that every time we buy it, we will all be happy to know that Cole didn't go into the wall last night, didn't even get close to it and then scraped it, the quarter panel is in the same condition. that we took it to the tree, the Dragon, yeah, that's Jesse's doing, that's not Cole's doing, but the car came home in excellent condition, so that's a plus too.
