Exploring Sapporo and trying Hokkaido street food【Japan life】

Today we're at Odori Park in Sapporo and it's between Susukino and Sapporo Station, so they're probably the most popular areas of Safaro, so yeah, let's take a look. I actually came here a couple of years ago, I think that was the last time I was here. It was during the snow festival, which is a very famous event that happens here every winter, so it's very nice for me to see all the flowers and the neatly trimmed grass because the last time I was here I didn't see any of this because it was all Covered in snow, this park is really interesting because, although it is right in the center of the city, it is very beautiful.

There's a fountain here, there's a bigger fountain in the middle and it's covered in flowers. I also really like Odory Park because there is always something to do in every season. They have some kind of event or festival here. It is fun. Is incredible. I think the sound of water is one of the most relaxing sounds on Pit Vine. The sky was absolutely beautiful. Well, then there is the Safari TV tower. right there and funnily enough I don't think I've been this close before but it's one of the most famous places in Sapporo, it's a really nice area to walk around and experience the city so we finally got to the Sapro TV tower. and as you can see, they have an event right below, uh, yeah, this is pretty normal at Odory Park, which is one of the things I love, there's always something to do here, the TV tower was a lot taller than what I expected. but it looks amazing against the blue sky, so obviously I came here to see the park and everything Odory Cohen has to offer, but that includes something else on my list, saprobe, I've talked about it before, it's my favorite beer in Japan.

So now I'm going to go get something okay so I have my beer and it says very clearly Oh I'll spin it only in Hokkaido so yeah you can't get the classic saporo anywhere else in Japan so that I miss him. a lot when I can't be in Hokkaido anyway kanpai oh my god it's so good ah perfect I missed it a lot to be honest I've already drank this since I was in Hokkaido but it tastes so much better when it's like a giraffe. It's draft beer like that, yeah, when it comes out of the tap instead of a can, I mean they're both good, but yeah, it's the first time I've had it since I came to Hokkaido when it comes out of the tap. and it's perfect and I love it and I'm happy because the weather is really nice today it rained a little bit before but I think the weather is always better after it rains because the air feels a little bit cooler and that's what we're experiencing today so the fresh air the flowers the weird background music combined with beer is perfect really nothing is better than drinking beer outside with a view next time I want to go to the TV tower this is cherry blossom so yoshino and yes I had come to Sapporo about a week before.

I probably would have seen all the cherry blossoms, but unfortunately I missed it. However, it is still very pretty and it is very nice to see all the petals between all of these. There are flowers here, it's pretty, it's like snow, almost another thing that I love about Odori Cohen and I think in Japan in general, you could be in a very busy city like ours now, but if you look over there, you can see beautiful mountains , we do not. "I don't have that in the UK when you're in the city, it's like there's not much nature unless you count the parks, whereas in Japan I've noticed a lot of different places I've been with you." I'm in the city, but if you look on the other side you can clearly see nature.

I love it so much. I think it's one of my favorite things about Japan and also one of my favorite things about Sapporo. Well, I bought some emo mochi. I've never tried it before so I'm super excited to try it, okay here we go, oh shit, here's itadakimasu, oh her, I'm really surprised because it's really like mochi, I really wasn't expecting that because I thought, oh, it's papa. So how much is it like mochi? It can actually look a lot like mochi. That's really crazy. I had never tried anything like this before in my

life

. It's so good.

Now I'm definitely a big fan of emo mochi, which Hokkaido is very famous for again. I definitely want to try that too, but it's delicious. I'm so surprised I really don't know what I expected. I think in the UK the potato is always very plain, so I guess I was expecting the same from this, but it's just so good. Very good, I'll just show you that this might be my new favorite snack. I may be a little obsessed with this, so just a short walk from the park was Tokaidai, which is another famous place in Sapporo.
