Mar 14, 2024
Hello everyone and welcome to Belinda's DIYs. This is going to be a long video, so let's go ahead and get right to the first DIY. I will use these adorable ceramic houses. Now let me tell you that I found them at Dollar Tree and I couldn't believe that the

dollar

tree

had these that look like the target point of the

dollar

and of these dollar

tree

wooden hearts I will use two of them and some colored acrylic paint blush pink. This will be a very easy DIY. What I did was simply paint the ceiling with pink paint and I only painted two of the houses, the one in the middle, I left the ceiling as it is below I started to paint the little wooden hearts with the same color.

The next thing I did was place the hearts where they were going. to glue with hot glue and that was it for this project. For the next DIY, I'll be using three of these dollar tree love signs, some spray paint in metallic gold, candy pink, and some white. I'm going to take them outside and paint the top one rose gold and white and this is how they turned out and now that the paint is dry, what I'm going to do is hot glue them on. What I do is I shift them now, you can hot glue them up, all stacked up, but I wanted them to look a little different and that's why I'm going to shift them, but they will look great to hang on the wall and reinforce them.

What I did was add a little more hot glue where I attached them and I'm also going to add some pieces of masking tape and this is what the love love love wall

decor

looks like now, for the next DIY I'm going to use three of these dollar trees. candles a gold paint marker a wooden heart from the dollar tree some twine and some of these wooden beads from the dollar tree and also this plastic tray also from the dollar tree and these spray paints the gold, the pink and also some white, okay, so I'm going to start by spray painting two of these candles and I'm going to paint two of them pink and then the one in the center I'm going to paint with gold spray paint and then for the tray I'm also going to paint this in the Color pink.

I'm also going to paint the heart with white spray paint. The wooden dollar tree beads are different sizes and I took the largest ones. In fact, I'm going to use six and paint two. gold, two in pink and two in white, okay, now that the paint is dry on my candles, I'm going to write xoxo on both pink candles. I was being very careful because the gold paint would smear if I pressed it too hard. I had to take my time doing this and this is how both candles turned out and here are my painted beads and also the white heart.

Next, I'm going to thread my beads through the twine. Next, I'll add some hot glue. at the end and then I'll place my heart there. I'm going to tie a knot at the end and then I'm going to cut it and now I'm going to wrap the beads around the gold candle and then I'm going to wrap some twine. the three candles and then I will place all three of them on the pink tray for this next DIY. I'm going to use this love face that I created last year. I'll go ahead and link that video below, but I'm going to reuse this face.
I'll also use a piece of burlap and three of these dollar tree onion grass, some floral moss, and a glass base. What I'm going to do is hot glue some moss on the letter or the word love and I'll do that to each one of them. I'm going to start by adding a generous amount of hot glue and I'll do it in sections and then I'll add the moss and as I am. When adding the moss, I will press down to make sure the moss adheres well to the hot glue. This is what it looks like now with all the o's covered in moss and I know it looks really messy, but I'm going to start cleaning it up. above, I'm going to start by removing all the excess moss first and then with my scissors I'm going to trim off all the excess moss and just wipe it away and now as you can see the o is really taking shape.
I continue doing that with the rest of the o's until I'm done and this is how my repurposed vase turned out and now when I pick up my vase, no matter what angle you look at it, all the o's have moss on them. I'm going to wrap the glass face with some burlap and then I'm going to drop it into the love base and then I'm going to spread the burlap over the vase and then for the onion herb, what I'm going to do is just tie them together. just so they can spread out and look fuller and lastly I'll drop the onion herb into the vase for the next DIY.
I'm going to use two of these clay pots from Dollar Tree and also some of these DIY stickers and they're wooden hearts also from Dollar Tree some moss some heart shaped mats some black acrylic paint and I'm going to use two of these hearts from these Valentine's Day wall

decor

ations from Dollar Tree some heart shaped foam stickers and I'll be using the stick from this cat wand and some floral foam. Well, I'm going to start by removing two of the hearts and then I'm going to start painting the back of each heart and just give them one coat of paint.
The next thing I'm going to do is cut the wand in half and then trim it to make them a little bit shorter. The next thing I'm going to do is place the hard paint on the mat. way and I'll hot glue it below. I will add one of these wooden hearts to the center of the black heart. I wanted to use the pink side of the heart, but in the end I decided to go with it. With the neutral color next, I added one of those foam hearts and placed it in the center. Then I'm going to turn it back and then I'm going to hot glue the wand to it.
Next, I added a chunk. of the floral foam into the pot, then I added some hot glue to the wand and then stuck it into the foam, then filled the pot with some moss. I was going to leave the pot as is, but in the end I decided to add these little white dollar tree flowers. I will repeat the same steps on the second pot for the next DIY. I'm going to use this dollar tree double heart wall decor, some jute twine and also this thicker twine twine and this one from Walmart Dollar Tree also carries the thicker twine but I had this one on hand, some doilies from fabric lace.
Dollar Tree carries the white and cream ones. I'm going to use the cream color, some pink and white roses, okay, so the first thing I'm going to do is remove the center heart and then I'm going to remove all the tinsel from both hearts. Okay, now that I've removed all the tinsel from the heart, the next thing I'm going to do, am I going to wrap the string around the heart? This will take me a while. I will be doing sections at a time. I'm going to put some hot glue on and then I'm going to wrap the cord and then I'm going to continue repeating those steps until I'm completely done, this is what the heart looks like now with the cord wrapped all around, so the next thing I'm going to do now is place the lace on top of the heart and then I'm going to apply hot glue to the areas where the lace goes over the edge of the heart because lace is not a solid material.
I have to use the back of the scissors just to hold the lace until it adheres since I like to use all the dollar tree items when I can, that's why I'm using these material mats. This is the only size they have. I wish they had been bigger, but this is all they have so I had to buy two. but they come in a pack of two and this is what it looks like with this mat. Now I'll have to add a few pieces just to cover the corners using the other mat. I'll just put it to the side. corner and then I'm going to cut where I need to cover that section that's missing some lace and here's the piece that I just cut and I'm going to repeat the same steps, I'm going to hot glue it to the heart and I'm going to do the same on the opposite side.
I had to add just a small dot of hot glue where the lace was on top of the other just to make sure they would stick next. To cut off all the excess lace hanging over the heart, the bottom tip of the heart is missing a little piece of lace, so I'm going to cut a little piece off and then I'm just going to hot glue it on and this is how my lace heart turned out . This is the back and then this is the front. The next thing I'm going to do is reinforce the lace and what I'm going to do is just hot glue a piece of that jude lace all around and this is the back of the heart. so I'm going to add the lace and now I'm just going to embellish the edge of the heart.
I'll add a little more of that lace around the heart, but this time it'll just be on the sides, okay? Now I'm done with this big heart, now I'm going to save it because I'm going to start working on the small heart. Okay, for the small heart, I'll do the same thing I did with the big heart. I'm going to wrap the cord around the wire until it's completely covered and this is what the little heart looks like now. For this little heart I'm going to use the fine twine and what I'm going to do is basically just shape it. a net, I don't have a particular pattern, I'm just going to wrap the yarn in different directions and I'm also going to add a little bit of hot glue along the way just to make sure it doesn't come loose and this is how the little heart turned out next, I'm going hot glue it to the side of the big heart and this is what the big heart looks like with a small heart.
Okay, now I'm going to start adding the roses there in the top corner. I will be cutting the plastic stem that the roses have on the back so that the rose will look better when I hot glue them and this is what the heart looks like now with the roses and lastly I am just going to add a piece of string on the back so I can have something to hang it with for this next DIY. I'm going to use this same double dollar tree heart some coffee filters a wire basket a white ornament marker some LED wire lights aka fairy lights okay so the first thing I'm going to do is remove the center heart .
Next I'll start cutting the edge of the basket and do this at the top and also at the bottom if that is the case. You're already familiar with my channel, you know I've done this several times on different DIYs. Next, I'm going to cut the basket in half using just some regular, heavy-duty scissors that will do the job. It is very easy to cut this wire once you have done so. I've cut the basket in half now I'm just going to press it down so it can flatten out a little bit if you love chicken wire crafts and this is a great alternative okay next thing I'm going to do What I need to do is just place the wire over the heart and what I'm going to do is just trace the heart.
I'm not going to remove the tension around the heart because it will serve as a cover for the wire and also I think the red tinsel looks really pretty because the flower I'm going to put in the center is white, so I think it goes well with this project. Once I get the cable where I need it, I'll go ahead and grab. my white ornament marker and then I'm just going to trace around it, the metal frame under the tinsel will be my guide and as you can see, there's the mark. Now I'm going to take my scissors and I'm just going to cut it out and this is what it looks like and I'm just bending it a little bit so it can flatten out and now once again I'm going to leave the heart and I'm going to place my wire over it and I'm going to start gluing it with hot glue.
I'll do sections at a time and then I'll also use the back of my scissors just to keep the wire down because it tends to want to come out still. In case you decide to do this project, I just want to warn you that the hot glue will seep through the wire so you have to be very careful, so the next thing I'm going to do is remove the tinsel from the smaller heart. because this will serve as a pattern that I will draw in the center of the larger heart. Okay, now I'm ready to place it right in the center and I'll use my white marker to trace the pattern. and this is what it looks like below I'm going to start creating the floral heart and to do that I had to place it over a basket and you'll see why in a moment okay so I'm going I'm going to take my coffee filter and I'm going to fold it down the half and then I'll repeat it twice, then I'll add a little bit of hot glue around the stem and then I'll put it on the wire until it completely fills the center. pattern you can also create this same heart on a flat surface you would just have to fold the ends and glue them but since I wanted to pass it through the wire I had to use this technique okay here I'm just showing you how the heart is taking shape and that's how it is As it turned out to me, they look like roses and that's what the back looks like.
Next, I'm going to start adding the lights to the back, so all I did was just run the wire around the When adding the lights to the back, I feel the light filter through the paper and give it that lighting effect. Once I was done attaching the lights I added just a little bit of regular tape just to make sure the wire stayed in place and I also wanted to tape down the battery pack and this is what the back looks like with the tape and now I'm just going to add some twine to the top of the heart and this is how my illuminating heart turned out for this next DIY.I'm going to use three of these glitter foam hearts, some mixed rose bouquets, a round floral foam, some red glitter and I bought it at Walmart and it was 89 cents and also some iridescent glitter and I bought this at Walmart too, some craft sticks. mod podge but you can also use some regular glue, some assorted decorative tape.
I ended up using the bottom two, a pipe cleaner, okay, so I'll start by removing all the labels from the hearts, including also the lace hanger that it comes with and here just I'm pointing out how there is a little shine that was removed. I couldn't really find any perfect ones at Dollar Tree, most of them had the shine removed so what I'm going to do is add a little bit of glitter and just to cover it up, I'm going to start by adding a little bit of mod podge just on the front of the heart and anywhere I see the glitter is missing, then I apply the mod podge, I'll add the red glitter and then I'll add a little bit of that iridescent glitter as well and I'll repeat the same steps with the other two hearts and this is how the hearts turned out. three hearts and now I'm going to let the glitter dry and then I'm going to work on the floral, okay?
So I'm going to start by making a bow and I'm going to make this bow about 10 inches wide and I'm going to fold my ribbon about six times, then I'm going to gather it in the center and then I'm going to wrap it with a little piece of pipe cleaner, then I'm going to fluff my bun and this is how my bun turned out. Okay for this ribbon, I'm going to follow the exact same steps, except this one will just be Next, I tied eight inches wide, tied the black and white bow on top of the red one.
Next, I'm going to remove a heart from that hard bouquet and hot glue it to the center of the bow. I'm going to create some tails for my bow and extend it about 10 inches and then bend it once and then go ahead and cut that end off next. I'm going to create a V shape all the way to the end of the ribbon and I'm going to do it by cutting the ribbon sideways like I'm doing right there. Next, I will rotate the center of the tape where both front sides of the tape are facing forward.
I'll hot glue that ribbon right in the center of the foam and then follow up with the bow on top. Next I'm going to hot glue some of those white roses and then for the red roses I'm going to leave a little bit of the stem and then insert it into the foam. I also did the same with some white roses and also the red hearts and this is how the arrangement looked in the end. I decided to add some of these heart pigs from Dollar Tree and just laid them out. Put them here and there around the arrangement, okay, next I'm going to add that arrangement to the top corner of the heart, so I'm going to flip both elements at the same time like this and then I'm going to join them both together. put the elements together by adding a little bit of hot glue to the top of the heart there in the corner and then as extra reinforcement, I'm going to hot glue the craft sticks together.
Next, I'm going to cut two pieces of this black and white ribbon and there are approximately eight of them. inches long and now I'm going to add the ribbons and I turned the parts around face down as you can see right there and now I'm going to place the ribbon also face down next. I'll hot glue one end of the ribbon onto one heart and then I'll hot glue the other end onto the other heart and as you can see the top of one heart goes one direction and the other goes the opposite. direction and repeated the same steps with the third heart for the next DIYs.
I'm going to create three Valentine's Day centerpieces shaped like dollar trees. I will use a round mirror and three wine glasses. If you see them side by side, you can see them. one wine glass is bigger than the other. I'm going to use one of the smaller ones and two of the larger ones. A heart-shaped table spread out. Some vadav candles. Some chargers. One white, one red and this one here that I spray painted with. some chalk paint and I'll also use this mirror base that I created a while ago. If you take a look at the top left corner, which is the video and I created this, I'll go ahead and link that video below. that you can see how I created this mirror base.
I'm also going to use a bouquet of velvet roses and there are three in a bouquet and this is the spray paint that I use to paint one of the chargers okay so the first thing I'm going to do is remove the mirror from its frame , the next thing I am going to do is remove the roses from their stem and then I am going to cut the plastic base that they have at the bottom. I'll do that to everyone. three of them, okay, I've put the roses aside now what I'm doing here is placing my wine glasses on top of the mirror and what I'm doing here is placing them where I want them to be next.
Take my white trim marker and I'm going to place a dot on the top of the mirror almost in the center of where the wine glass is going to be and I'm going to do that with all three wine glasses. I will not take any action. I'm going to look at this and here I just show you the three points that I made in the mirror. Next, I will hot glue the roses onto the marks I made on the mirror. I used hot glue just because I don't want my roses to be permanently on the mirror.
If you decide to do this project and want them to have a permanent fix, you can use e6000 or super glue so they can have a permanent fix. Here I'm just showing you how the roses look in the mirror, I think they look very pretty like this and now I'm going to take my wine glasses and I'm going to gently slide them on top of the roses and this is what the center base looks like now with the glasses of wine and roses. Okay, now I'm going to take that center base and place it in the center of the mirror base that I had pre-assembled a while ago.
I also used this red ribbon to tie a bow around the stem of the wine glasses below. I added the candles and the base of the wine glasses served as the candle holders and now the final step I just added the red jewels and I just scattered them around the base of the mirror and that's how the first centerpiece turned out so now for the second centerpiece I'm going to take this white charger and I'm going to place the center base with the red roses that I just made earlier and I'm going to put the wine glasses and the candles back in and then lastly I'm going to add the heart shape scatters around the edge of the charger and that's how the second center piece turned out.
I placed it on the mirror base, but it's not necessary. I just thought it looked prettier this way, but you can attach the charger directly. on top of the table and it will still look very pretty, good for the third centerpiece, what I did was spray paint a charger with that chalk paint and I was going to use chalk to write I love you around the edge of the charger, but on Instead, I decided to use the white trim marker that way it would stay permanent and also look cleaner and better. I thought the "I love you" text would look really cute, but you can really put any text here or any design and you can just personalize it. however you want next I'm going to take the candle holder from the mirror and I'm going to place a single red rose in the center with this mirror.
I'm going to follow the same steps I did with the first mirror base. but with this one I'm just going to add a small dot in the center of the mirror. Then I will hot glue the rose to the mirror. You have to hold the rose for about a minute until the glue heats up. hardens next I am ready to place the mirror base in the center of the charger and then I will slide the wine glass on it with the candle on top and lastly I am going to spread the red heart shape that is spread all over . the central base of the charger and this is how the third central piece turned out.
For this last DIY, I will use this candlestick and also this glass vase. These are already glued because I had used them in a previous DIY. To start, I first fill this face with a candle and then I will add these heart shaped gel stickers on the glass face. This is a very

simple

DIY but what a transformation you can make on a

simple

glass face and this is how it looks with a lit candle, I think it looks very pretty with the candle light shining through the gel heart, well , that's all for this video, I hope you enjoyed it, if so please give me a big thumbs up and also share.
I really appreciate it, I hope you really enjoyed all these Valentine's Day

ideas
