More Interesting Facts About,

volume in fine hair not just styling tips...

I would love to know what it would be You and I feel like this is a very dangerous question, but what would you call this community? I would love to know. Put it in the comments below. Maybe I'll choose yours. Give me ideas. I need ideas. Okay,

fine

hair. Okay, so tip number one when you're trying to make fine hair look thicker and have more

volume

and all that wonderful stuff, now we need to pay attention to the length. I'm not saying you have to go short, I'm

just

saying that a long comes when you understand your point and everyone's hair, even if it's okay, all textures of fine hair will be a little different, so some of you will have hair thin, but they may be able to have it a little longer than others, but there will come a point where it

just

stops being thick at the ends, now the biggest problem with this is that when it starts to get to this point it doesn't support any type of material internal that we'll talk about in a minute that we can do to create more volume and more shape and more overall appearance of density, so we want to make sure that we pay attention to giving this a strong line for whatever length it is, sometimes it's better to forego that little bit of length.

Yes I know. It comes at the cost of feeling like you're losing some hair, but actually removing a little bit of hair will allow you a lot more internally to create the illusion of a lot more volume, a lot more density, and a lot more shape than it is. Well worth the little worry that removing this length would create, so what I'm going to do is show you the difference between what we have now and I'll show you what happens when you take just the length to where it's strong there's just no layers like that, like this that we're back and now you can see that I took a little bit of that length I took it as short as I had to leave it as long as I could, but I still made the ends look thick so I could.

I took it to its shortest point to the longest point it could be and still be dense, but as you can see, just making that little bit of length, yeah, it lost some length, okay, but it's a lot stronger in that baseline, which in turn makes it look and appear much denser and will allow us to now go in and do other things internally that will allow us to create a lot more volume in the overall shape, tip number two, which is what I want to think about. It's for a lot of people, especially if you have fine hair, especially if it's thin, fine hair, it's scary to think about layers, maybe you've had a bad experience with layers in the past, maybe you feel like look, I can't afford it. . layering my hair because every time I do it I feel like there is nothing good, two things happen, first of all we have to ask ourselves: is it more important that when you pull it back it feels dense or is it more important that it looks like this? you have a lot of volume, control and density, if that is more important that it looks dense then there is a way to layer your hair which for me is absolutely your best friend, what ends up happening especially on fine hair is because even if that the length is shorter, let's say like a bob shape, these top layers have a length, it still means that this hair is long and therefore when that hair is long, it is still very heavy, so it is difficult to get a volume that you can encourage from the beginning when you're blow-drying or

styling

it, it's hard to make that volume last, having some of this hair layered to lighten it is a huge benefit to the overall shape, so you want to be careful, don't you want these things to not be completely in the front.
I want some layers, but here you basically want these things to be basically a length that allows you to keep strong lines at the bottom so that your base line looks dense, but still allows you to layer. This has some movement. The texture has some shape to it but I still feel like you have a strong line, okay, so we go back and now what I've done is we've layered the hair a little bit nicely. I've given it some layers that frame the face. I've given it some layers internally back here and what that's done is allow for more lightness in this hair up here, so when you go in there, even when I haven't done anything, I don't have any products, we're still getting some. volume and some movement out of your hair just because we've lightened it a little bit if you have a solid base for the volume it's going to be a million times easier for you to create volume when you style it right so one thing I always get asked is What products do I like to create volume and fine hair?
This is what I will explain to you about some products that I like to use. There are many great products available, so these are not the only ones. the ones that will work and I choose one of these specifically because it's a gel mousse that's going to be very similar to a lot of the products that you use at home or that you might need to create volume in so I want to guide you through. through the process of how you apply it and all that, because it's going to be very similar, you'll probably just change the amount of product you use depending on what you're using.
First things first, did you jump out of the shower? and you talked about your hair now, you'll notice on his hair right now, that's how you can see it's dripping, so we want to make sure we dry it a little bit more. If it is too wet, it will only dilute the product. and it will cause the product to not work as well as we want it to work. If it's too dry, you'll find that the product doesn't distribute evenly and we want it all over the hair from roots to ends when we do this. We're talking about trying to create volume, so the first product I'm going to use is this one called oily hair and oily hair is my favorite product to create volume.
I'll put it in my hands and as it warms up. It's a little bit of a thumb up, but I'm going to put this in your hair and I'm going to do it starting at the top right, at the roots, and I'm going to do it all the way to the end. Now again I said I wanted to. at the roots to lift the root, but that is not what creates volume. Volume is created by curvature throughout the hair, so we want this equally we also want this all the way down to the ends so we can control the vents or maintain that curvature and have long lasting. volume and shape all day and then what will happen is we'll start drying the hair, so at home what you would do is tilt your head forward and you'd start drying the hair and lifting those roots up from the scalp. so you can encourage a little bit of that routine okay so we come back we have our hair finished and what we've done is we've blow dried it and then we flat iron it so if you're confused about how to use the flat iron or the round brush or the

styling

process at the end of this video.
I'm going to link a playlist that you can check out where I explain the processes on how to do all of those things now, even if you always leave your hair down on one side. Still, I would say go in the opposite direction and then go back and forth because it will help create a little more volume at that parting line, something I wouldn't recommend doing if you're trying to create volume at the crown or the volume at the top is parted down the center because usually what ends up happening is that it then sinks in the center and you just don't have hair in the center part to create volume so you have to part it to the side.
You can see the moment I do this, it's very difficult to see because I'm left with my hands, but the moment I do that we create more volume, the moment I take this and I separate it down the center, you can see that even Ascot some lifts are still parts here and this goes down a little bit, one way or another, so one thing if you have shorter hair, I would say like long bob or even a little bit shorter, something like a clay or this clay in Particularly from L'Oreal, if I were to use this, I would use it to have a little bit of control.
I would take a little like that. Okay, if you can see this, I would put it on my. hands and I would work it through my hands and then I would work it through her hair mainly in the front where I want that little bit of extra control and that will give me a little bit more control than I. I could spray it back if I was just trying to create more volume so it helps me get a little more texture in my hair, a little more movement and a little more volume, but once you put it in place, this it's one of my favorite sprays because it gives a good amount of hold but it's very light look at this look if you can see this is like a mist I guess I'm not so worried about the overall look all I'm worried about is just trying to get more volume to illustrate a point for you, so one of the things is, let's say, I want this to come back up to your face.
I can use them like this. hold this, you can back here, spray this back, okay. I can make that stay. pull your face back a little bit, we can get some control, it's a very light spray, but it still gives me the control I'm looking for right now. I'm not a big fan of super stiff hair because I think movement is important for youth, but that being said, there are some benefits to being able to use a spray on your hair to keep things out of your face and this is a great spray for that, so there's one more thing I want to show you: super important and I guarantee most of you are terrified of texturing, we're getting thinner.
I know it's a scary thing for some stand seekers, especially if you have fine, thin hair, but let me tell you, there is a way to do it and Chances are, if you've had a really bad experience with it it's because it was made a certain way. way, which gave you all the problems I haven't had and none of the benefits. Texturing done right can be amazing on fine hair, even fine hair. thin fine hair so let me show you the difference here so you know what to look for and you know what's really going on with this.
If you look at that, it's a blunt line, okay, reasonably blunt, not totally even, but it's a blunt line. The problem with this is when there is a very blunt line like this, the concern is that it is very heavy on the ends and, especially on fine hair, it can leave lines in the hair, so you will see little layer lines that are not visible good. but it can also be heavy and broken and won't give you the amount of movement you want, the correct texture looks like this, you are simply breaking the tip of that hair, not very far down the hair shaft, just the very ends by splitting just the ends of your hair here, all you're doing is lightening it a little bit and you're breaking up this line a little bit, it's going to allow it to blend better and overall it looks better, however, your hair hasn't thinned, but a lot of times what What happens is people come in and they get thinner, now you have these random strands that are short, okay, these are very short strands and then you have these. longer strands now you can see those longer strands are starting to fall out, right?
What's going to happen now is that your hair is going to act like it's that long. What's also going to happen is these ends here because they're so thin that they're not going to maintain any curvature, they're not going to maintain any volume or shape, they're just going to fall out, so it's not to say that texturing your hair won't work, but doing it the wrong way for your texture won't work well y'all that's it when it comes to adding volume to fine hair those are the key things we need to pay attention to so I hope that helps if you get anything of value of this man.
