House of the Dragon Extended Trailer Teases Targaryen Dynasty | Comic Con 2022

So we're here live at Comic Con where one of the biggest House of the Dragon panels just came out and we saw a ton more Westeros goodness, of course the biggest thing was an

extended

trailer

, it was just a version longer. than we've already seen, but there were still some good things, basically a lot of

dragon

s and a lot of Targaryens, we also got to see Matt Smith's character in full armor which is very exciting and it's also a little strange to see him with white hair. Still, but we'll get used to it, unfortunately that

trailer

won't be online today, they're saving it for shark week, which you know, sharks,

dragon

s, I guess there's some synergy there, speaking of dragons, this show will be 17 of them and me.

I can't wait to see those dragons fully realized in the show. Showrunner Ryan Condell said we're going to see the Targaryens at the height of their power and of course 17 is the most dragons they've ever had so I think there's got to be a lot of really cool power struggles and we're going to see the Targaryens. You actually get to know some of those crazy Targaryens a little bit, but otherwise they talked a little more about the show and the Targaryen drama. We'll see that George R.R Martin was also there and in fact said that he has seen nine out of ten episodes of the first season and says they are incredible, we will have to watch them until he sees the finale, although I haven't.

I don't know why you haven't seen it, maybe it's still in print, who knows, someone asked him if he would do a cameo on the show and he said he has a book to write, and yes George, please finish writing it first to start acting. but otherwise he talked a little bit about the historical inspirations for the show and the book that it's based on, he talked about, he talked about how people might have some debates about who's the good guy and who's the bad guy on the show and I think Game of Thrones is also very good at doing that so I'm very excited to see that another big topic on the panel was the role of women on this show and George Rr Martin answered a question about the treatment of women in Westeros , which of course has been a big point of contention as Game of Thrones goes on, there's a lot of violence, of course, um and he responded that basically, since the show is inspired by history, of course, the women go. have some unique matches so that's going to be a big thing that we're looking for on this show of course um and otherwise we just got a few questions from the cast of course someone made a joke about Matt Smith you can.
