With hopes and dreams crushed, Ken packed his bags and went to college to study design, but little did he know that his journey had just begun during his college years in Palmer, California, Ken met Damon Way, who was the older brother of the legendary Skateboarder Danny Way, after spending time together in college, both

close friends and started talking about their passion in life, for some it can be fun. A conversation starter to have with friends, but for Ken Block it was a goal he was determined to achieve. They both shared a sense of achieving greatness in life and with that in mind they began to pursue their passion once again.

Ken and Damon combined their love of adventure and sports along with artistic designs and began selling Niche clothing in snowboard shops in Colorado. Ken knew that he could not follow his dream of becoming a professional snowboarder, but he chose the alternative route and expressed his passion in a form of artistic clothing, but success did not come. His own racing team known as Subaru Rally Team USA Ken wanted to grow his identity and deepen his passion. Ken started his hoonigan brand in 2010 with the mission of making cars fun.
