I guess we could say that I'm actually I'm going to call Rick here in a moment Rick Corvette Conte some of you may know who he is, some of you may not know who he is, but he's one of the top 10 Corvette car salesmen in The United States and I always get the name of their city is wrong, but Pataskala I think is Ohio that I bought.

process. I already ordered a new zo6 and in today's vlog I will call him. We're going to go over the order that you'll see on the screen behind me, of course you'll see some photos of it, but you'll also see the actual

guide that I'm going to make. it's going to be streaming from my laptop so on this side you'll be able to see the car as I make changes to it as they show us while I'm talking to him the different things that I want to do with the car.

I'll see that happen there, right behind me, here will be more details of the different options and different things, but what I wanted in this video is not only to show you how really simple it is to order a Corvette, but I also want to, through Rick, show you how simple it is to purchase one from your lot in February of last year. in, that's how you know, sometimes ten eight ten thousand dollars more than you can buy it, you know, from someone who sells in volume and that's the important thing with Rick and his dealership and also, you know there are a lot of great dealerships. There's Kirbeh Carroll and Chris Wall. You know, there are some amazing dealerships out there, but you know with me I use Rick, he's the one I feel comfortable with, he's the one I have a relationship with and he's very easy to work with, so guys.

We'll get you on the phone, we'll dig into how I identified my Corvette and there are some questions that some of you sent in and we'll ask some of them as we go, also as a reminder. I think if you wait too long, like you just said, you might not be able to build the one you want, you can get it, it's supposed to be protected.

Get close to the end like you said, don't wait until the end, the door, just say: Hey guys, sorry, thanks for changing internally, we can't build that car and then your anticipation turns to disappointment and I don't want those to happen. For a lot of people who are thinking about ordering a car, that's still a real possibility, so I'm letting people know as a warning, since we're placing these orders here on the last part of exactly okay, well, let's go ahead and Let's just dive. on mine, I know you have the specs behind me on the wonderful green screen that we have here, you guys will be able to see how this car is built as I go through it and do different clicks here on my laptop, Rick, I have a laptop in front.

You might be able to get it perfect, so first of the first option. someone of course is going to make a coupe and a convertible, that's something like that, you know the first thing and of course I'm going to go with a coupe if you want to go with a verts of about four thousand. dollars more, you can do that there, so it's very simple. a Stingray, a Grand Sport or a zo6, that little LZ changes on the other two platforms to the LT, if I remember correctly, that's right, so the LZ, what kind of buyer would want a LZ? do with a lot of different things as you start selecting these cars and the price of these cars can go up very quickly depending on the options, but it's a 1 LZ, which tells us who would you know, who would start with that, like maybe . your 69 Corvette in 2015, everyone wanted 3lz, everyone wanted zo7, everyone drove 110 hundred and fifteen thousand dollar cars, even I ordered inventory for you to choose Vermont a lot.

I changed the way I ordered and it really opened my eyes. to the 1/lc value story because it's a customer although it's not 1:06 without all that fancy stuff just to have the bragging rights that I have that engine and then also bring in the factor of your I'm going to get a customer of tracking that wants the 1lz and doesn't need all that other stuff because you know it's the weight if they're really in a competitive situation, but they're also going to spend money on items that they really need. spend on your driving performance and you're looking at zo6, you're probably looking at two to five percent of the customers who actually spend some weekend, okay, now with the 1lz of course you can still get navigation in the PDR, that they're both the same, so you can't have one or the other, so if you add that package, if you're that type of follow that you want to go out, I would highly recommend the PDR that automatically gives you the navigation and I think that's You know , it's nice that they let you add what you know to the 1lz pack and you'd think you'd have to go to pack two or three to get it too if you did a color interior like the red interior. in a single package it's usually just the seats, but in zo6 it's a higher level client and they give you the red stitching that you can cut, you know, they attach to the red paddles, so it really is a really exclusive experience when you go to zero sex. even though I'm on 1lc but I agree to add navigation which I do almost all the time amazingly looking for that part of the real price.

I think it is a story of great value. Okay, now going to LZ, you know again that your Rick will be holding up. There is a video on his channel that goes over these, so if you want to know, try these different packages in depth, definitely make sure you are subscribed to his channel. I'm just a regular guy who owns this car, so make sure you're subscribed to his channel if you want to see these. packages because we're not going to spend a lot of time on these because you can literally talk about them for a long time if you want so number two is the 2lz now the package is probably the sweet spot for the market and you know I'm a big fan of cooled seats and that comes with that one too, especially if you live in Even and it also has great heated seats so you know when you're out and you know it's hot.

I've been to a lot of car shows, you get in your car and you know it's 105 outside, and you get in, you turn it on, it's like you peed your pants, it gets really cold, really fast, so definitely for me it's always something I must have. When it comes down to it, now let's move on to what I chose, which was that I'm one of those guys that you talked about, that you just order everything in the cars and it was 10,000, not 110 thousand dollars before you knew what happened, but the 3lz. You know, for me, what I always liked, this is going to be more because I think that guy who likes all the creature comforts inside that thing, I mean, you have Alcantara, the suede that you can get into more, you know what you're getting into. on the steering wheel, where. you have carbon fiber, you have, you know, I just like it, I like playing after having the zr1.

I like to touch suede. It's a nice feeling every time you drive one of these cars, so you know you're talking a difference. Let's say you add to the LZ, you know the PDR system, you're adding $1,800 to it so you really know the difference between a 2 LZ and probably a 3 LZ probably costs around $3500 because with the 3 you get the PDR in the navigation okay , so we'll move on to color and when you get into this you'll know that it's a The good thing is that we're a little bit limited because I can only imagine if we did this and we were building a Dodge Hellcat and they had 45 different colors that you can choose from and all the time you're doubting probably it's up to you to choose which package you want, of course if you want avert or coupe thenthe other big question is it's always about the right color, Rick, I mean that's really what sells these cars, you know if you're doing the Elkhart blue and you have a whole roll of them at a dealership.

I don't know who would buy a full truckload and a half load of these cars, but you know there's someone on YouTube doing that, but now you know these colors, which makes the Long Beach Red Corvette. Racing and Sebring horns, do you know why? Is there a particular reason why they are premium over the others? Well, now, of course, we know the most popular ones. Don't know. I think they can have them here. I don't think so. They have the most popular color, but you know you have black. A lot of people ask me, Chuck. What are you going to do? Do you know the gray ceramic matrix again? I know you were a big fan of the '65 car carpet, that's what you put on your zr1. That was a struggle for me. I really mean I was probably going to go 85%. towards the gray of the ceramic matrix, but that shadow gray. I got to see not a Corvette in that color but a different car in that color and my wife loves it. I love her, so that's what we're going to use, the shadows are correct.

From there, as we move down, there's all kinds of other things you can do to this car, if you want to do a hood stinger, you want to do, you know, you want to, you know, I'll do it just for the sake of it. This time I'll do the double stripe, the satin black, so when I click on it you'll see those stripes added to the car. I've always been on the fence with the stingrays, there are several people in my vet club. that they have them and I'm going to do everything I can to strike, you can always take it off if you need to, you know, because that's something that if the dealership puts against it, hey Rick, you know I have this car. you put the stripes on it.

I'm sure it can be done, but it's nice that it comes from the factory that way, we're moving inland. I know there are a few different things you can do here depending on which of these inner packages. that you go with and I know there are some different things that you can do inside, but in a way Are there other options that I know what they are? the 198 and that will give you more suede on the dash, passenger airbag area on the door panels on the center inserts and on the center console armrest so that's what you want let me know , sometimes it just doesn't show up on the computer there.

So that's when you're doing a build and then we can tell you some other things that you can do with that in this right case and because I chose the option that I chose here is the jet black leather scene services with suede microfiber inserts. Okay, we're good, so we're done with the interior, the next thing we're going to move on to is the packages and this is a really big area. I'm very glad that GM listened to their customer. You know GM doesn't have to listen to us at all if they don't want to, but what I love that they did last year is they said, "Okay, we have a lot of people who really want these carbon ceramic brakes but they don't want the tuning on the suspension, they don't want, you know, the stage two wicker ticket, our stage three wicker ticket, they don't want the big fins on the back and so what are we going to do so they don't have to buy. the cup two tires?

Can you know. The week we have a little code that we can check. It doesn't give you that option. at that you start to want to add your ground effects and at that point you have carbon flash that you can go with or you can do the carbon now if you're looking and you love carbon fiber and that's the way you go. If you'd like to go, I'll tell you that you might be able to get it somewhere, but I've found that GM carbon fiber is generally the best. Not only am I in my zr1 which was just amazing but all the different Corvettes I've been in and someone says I bought this from the factory.

I ask for it with carbon fiber. There's a thousand dollar difference, you know. It may seem like a lot, but to me carbon fiber and my experience is more resistant to Road Rash, it's more resistant to, you know, small rocks and different things like that, compared to carbon flash, it has a tendency to chip if dont do it. you have a PPF or something, what will you know when it comes to this? Another thing you could also think about is not doing ground effects at all and doing it yourself, that's what I did with my black mother.

I didn't have any, there wasn't any arrow on that car, so I got everything I needed from ACS composite, which is a channel bracket here, so if you want to save, you know, three thousand, you want to put anything on it and I just want to buy it. no side skirts now remind me I know, the six comes with those 3/4 side skirts automatically I just want the brakes knowing that when you order zero seven you have to choose a level three, the brakes separately now you don't have to fill up you get that rocker of three quarters, it's just the plastic front splitter, but the three quarter rocker still looks good aesthetically, but is very effective for rock chips etc, you can just add a bit of boldness and add the winglets higher, if you go to the carbon flash or the exposed carbon fiber level, the three year old came with the wicker pick, but that requires 0-7, so you're doing your bit, you're doing level two and if you want add the wicker bill later you can still get the taller spoilers, you'll get the full extensions and you'll get the full front splitter but a lot of people don't realize that the standard on the transport and zo6 is that 3/4 length rocker that it's so effective, it's a great value and there's nothing good about it so I knew it was added because that wasn't the way 16 when I got mine I didn't have anything so from there I can go into some, you know, different things at the end on the inside, next up will be the wheels, oh my gosh, we could have a debate here for 25 minutes about the wheels, are you a chrome guy or are you a black wheel guy?

Of course, it automatically tells you about the Brembo brakes, all that. kind of thing as we move on to the exterior options, now I'm going with the carbon fiber logo that I had on my ZR1.

I like the nice little cover that goes there on the steering wheel and let's see what they have like that. a lot of accessories, it's car covers and everything else that you can imagine in this now, this is where you would choose if you want to make a delivery to the Corvette Museum, which Rick can facilitate and set everything up for you. I think it would be an incredible experience. if you have time and you can go there and pick up your car and because when you've done it there, they'll put all your arrows there doing the details, they'll be doing the full nine yards that they correct and they're Do you know how we know if they're opening the courses?

With the high gloss carbon instrument panel, which is what I had on my ZR1, I think it looked very, very good. I'm not saying that if you have the other carbon fiber it won't be nice because I just like that little nuance of shyness. that's there, it's kind of a next level fix. Now look at my particular package, you know, configured here. I'm sitting in your office. Do you have any suggestion. Is there something you may need to reconsider or look at or anything else you can do based on what you know, I know you have an idea about your client because you're talking to them and you find out you know what they are. Do they like what they don't like and then maybe about that? I don't exactly like it. Well, we talk about this here. Everyone saw my car. They ordered it when it arrived here. I know originally.

I don't know if you want to share it. Know? I know you can look there and it has some build times that you know. We know when the order will be placed here in early December, like late January to late February. For some reason, zo6 was delayed thirty days. Other than the other cars I placed your order on, when we actually got the owner the next day, their assignment was pulled two days later, it was assigned in the week of construction, so we are moving things very quickly for you , but was initially given a 325 build week, chuck is very nice, hey man, i want to promote c7.

I get this car early. I can't do it late towards the end and then it just serves the whole purpose even though you're still going to enjoy the car. but his additional marketing efforts for Chevy and Corvette are great, so I contacted an executive at General Motors and he wrote back on Christmas Day and said that when we got back to the office he would take care of him and that car . we build the week of 121 and I text you and say wow okay oh yeah hey my birthday is five days after that so hey that's early the early birthday gift knowing that things They are being built and then what does someone build?

Do you have that. date you share that with them, what really makes you great is keeping your clients informed, especially those people who are not close to you, you know, I know you, you have texted me several times saying Chuck, here it is the planned construction. date oh let me see what we can do and you've really kept in touch with me and I know you do that with all of your customers whether it's someone who's placing an order or maybe someone who just wants to buy something that you have on your right. on your lot, hey, I told him that when I called him I told him 20 minutes and I would divert to that dealership.

I'm not going to drive a thousand miles to get this car for about eleven thousand two hundred dollars.
