The lobby is small. company that makes just this trailer in Minnesota, they make only eight or twelve a month, so they are a boutique company that is not mass produced. I would say this is one of the highest quality fit and finish I have seen on a

teardrop

trailer. and I've seen a lot of them, so I thought I'd give you a

tour

of the trailer, starting here from the front and working our way around the outside ourselves, then we'll get into the cabin and finally my favorite part. the kitchen, so this is a steel frame trailer, it is 14 feet long from tongue to rear, dry weight is about 1300 pounds, tongue weight is about 140 pounds, depending on whatever we have there, this is a Fulton F2 double wheel.

Jack, it has a locking wheel lock on the bottom, which makes it very easy to roll the dual wheel propane tank. I don't know what size I'll put it on the screen. This is connected all the way to the back. I'll show you that later when we get to the kitchen, here we have a nice big tongue box, completely waterproof, that provides tons of storage, we tend to put all of our dirty stuff in there, anything that touches the floor, shoe chocks. wheels, tarps, tents, things like that. There's a standard seven-pin round electrical connector that meets all of your electrical needs while towing and stores up nicely in this little bracket here.

It also provides power for the electric brakes. The huge visible window in the front is what makes this trailer so nice. to wake up to that beautiful view or to be able to look through the cars behind you while driving, this is a safety window like the windshield of your car, now it turns to the side of the trailer, the two sides are almost identical, I will point out when they're not, but they both have this vent that I'll show you when we get into the cockpit. This of course is the clip to hold the door open taking this part, standard RV stuff.

I'm sure there's a more technical name than the clip, but there are the side doors that have these nice acrylic windows that have a curtain so you can see out or have some privacy. They have these two, I don't know, pressure valves that you turn off while you're traveling, it puts a little extra pressure on the window to prevent water from the road from going up, rain coming off the road from going up into the trailer. This is what I call. The eyebrow sits over the top of the window so you can actually have the window open at night or when it's raining and the rain will hit here and deflect the window down.

Take this lever, bring it up here, lower it and now you have the adjustability. These little indentations are what trap it. The side windows open just like the other windows, but have this beautiful wooden cover to cover them at night when you need privacy or during the day when you need a little darkness. Then they have the same metal lever that rotates downward. and the window will stop at the three different settings. There's also a screen in this window and towards the back we have aluminum fenders on 14 inch wheels and fancy tires if I do say so myself, and on the passenger side we have a standard 15 amp.

RV electrical hookup for when you pull into a campground that has power or to keep your batteries charged while you're at home. Upstairs, we are wired for solar power. This is a standard Zamp controller. You can buy an external solar panel. I think this is the way to go because you can park your trailer in the shade and you can run the panel on a 25 or 50 foot extension cord in the sun to keep the battery charged all the time. There are two exterior lights for those midnight trips to the car or whatever. They are easily accessible from a switch just inside the door that emits a large amount of light.

They are amber in color to prevent bugs from moving to the rear of the trailer. Now we have two more pressure keys here to hold the kitchen door down as you drive, this is a standard quarter turn entry to get into the kitchen, which we will do later. The kitchen window is tempered glass, very strong and again, this is the window that you can see completely when the cars come behind you and let's move to the other side. The driver's side or street side is exactly the same as the other side except it has this water station as opposed to the electric and solar one the other side has.

This is a standard. rv water system the lock door has gravity fill so you can put a funnel here or just press a hose against it to fill the tank and the connection to the city so you can undo this side put a hose there, screw it on. When you're at a campsite that has a water supply and you have continuous water, there's also a little pivoting piece here so that when you have the hose connected you can close it and lock it so that no one else has access to the water supply. and that brings us inside the trailer also known as the cabin it is the bedroom and has plenty of cabinets and under bed storage to go from bed mode to couch mode you simply lift the handle push the bed back and then place this board in place to return to bed mode, simply lift the board, slide it forward and push it down onto the top of the bed.

It's easy to do with one person, even easier with two inside. We have almost a queen size bed here. 55 inches, 55 wide by 73 deep, we're now in bed in bed mode, so you have easier access to the cabinets here. These cabinets are custom modified to fold up so if you have pillows in here or even if you are in bed mode. in bed mode you can open it that way there's tons of storage space here overhead storage you can close so you can see while driving or at night you can have them closed so people can't see them so you have one , two, three and four, these all go down about another seven inches, this one doesn't go down because below it is the electrical equipment on the roof, it's a max air fan, it's reversible and it has a thermostat setting so you can set it so it says 75 degrees and you can leave camp in the morning and as soon as it's warm enough inside the cabin the fan will automatically turn on.

It can be controlled manually or with the remote control that stores conveniently in the custom remote storage box. Also used in custom rain in the past are this Kleenex box that hangs from the ceiling and this remote control holder that holds the three remote controls for the fan and the two sets of mood lights. This is our ceiling mounted phone or tablet holder. It has flexible curves. Down can swivel in any direction much better than a giant TV that you don't really need in a teardrop at the front of the trailer, at your feet are these two storage bins that measure 13 by 15 and seven inches deep, too There is a seven inch one.

Deep storage in the footwell that goes all the way under the bed There is more storage than you could ever need Once you are in sofa mode You can access the center table Simply pull out the center post Place it in this hole Press the table down on the top and you are all set, you can place the table in any position that is most comfortable for you. I have completely rebuilt this shelf to hold your phone and chargers, your keys, a water bottle, even two under the shelf, there are two vents that are perfect for bringing air across your body and up through the fan. ceiling.

They open up and down. I just did it backwards. I don't know why you would want to open them so water can get into the top, but are there two of these gooseneck lights, one on each side? They are perfect for task lighting at this end of the bed. I have customized this 12 volt charger to have two ports available on each side of the bed. This large window on the front is perfect if you want to sleep with your head on that end and look directly at the stars or put your head on the other end and you can see over your view.

These are the porthole type windows that you saw from the outside to open. Rotate these two clips 90 degrees, remove the wooden cover and it stores conveniently down here in this holder. This strap holds the door in place, prevents it from slamming open in windy conditions, and mounts to the screw on the inside. Here you can ride. here or here at the door we have a table that folds up so that table can be used inside or outside the door curtains are velcro and they come down like this we also have these thermal curtains that practically snap into place and fit perfectly underneath of existing curtains and have a layer of insulation inside that will block heat from entering or keep heat inside.

There is a solid color on one side and a decorative color on the other. You can place them in any direction. They also block. They give off a ton of light, we've used them up to 20 degrees with nothing more than a few hot water bottles and we're perfectly comfortable inside the door. The handle can be locked from the inside for added security inside the door. There are also these two quarter turns, one at the top and one at the bottom, that give you a little extra pressure as you ride to prevent water from coming out of the tires and under the door.

The interior has these cool mood lights. you can set them to 16 different colors, you can put them in all kinds of different modes so they flash, change colors, what we call disco mode and you know we thought well, if we get them it'll be fun, what the heck do we use them? In fact, you can turn on the white light all the time and they provide pretty much all the light you need here at night. The white lights can be set to 25 50 75 or 100. We have come to my favorite part. from the trailer to show the kitchen, this is the part that attracts all the voyeurs at the camp and that is because here you prepare all the food, you have your

kitchen, you have your storage space for your food, your pots and pans , the sink is, let's get into the details, the sink measures 10 inches by 12 inches and about four and a half deep, it has a standard cold water spout and a pull-out sprayer great for washing dishes that comes out and has a ton of perfect pressure for washing your feet outside washing your dog even having a fight over water while at camp there is a 9 gallon fresh water tank and a 9 gallon gray water tank this upper left cabinet above the sink has a nice tray flat here and a top compartment here that's a little deeper, this is a custom modification I made, the spice rack, but it can also hold a standard shot glass if you want or I have these handy little spray bottles with some soaps and cleansers which also work very well, just below is the paper. towel rack right there, this is a little box that we use to hold our cables and little things like that.

It's a custom thing that you'll get for free because I put it in there and it's so tight it won't come back. This is the step, it's ridiculously convenient, as I mentioned before, to see the car pulling up behind you, but also to pass things, so,the name, a book, a toothbrush, a bottle of water, a snack, a coffee tissue, wet wipes, how long? you have here in the step this is your main power it has a little red indicator light there that you probably can't see this is a 110 power perfect for plugging in your laptop charger uh coffee maker this only works when you're plugged into the outlet ground, this is a standard 12 volt outlet and the latter is the water pump switch.

It also has an indicator light to let you know it's on. This is one of my favorite customizations, this three-glass wine holder. rate the joints and yes they are real glass. This right cabinet not only has that custom spice rack, but it opens up here and has a

cutlery compartment as well as a lined cork so your cutlery doesn't damage the bottom. This is a custom mirror. I'll only see it in another trailer I know, the four circles cut out in the back here are perfect for four bottles of wine or we roll up extra towels and store them there just like that, here's a little hint if you have a tear. trailer, a rolled towel is a perfect padding for anything that moves or vibrates while you drive, it is also personalized on this trailer, only this trailer has a lot of personalized things. two towel racks, one on each side, these are what we call wings bat wings, some people call them bird wings after the creator of the burt taylor visible, you pull them down like this, they snap into place here, you pull the bungee at the bottom and just like that, you have your bat wings ready to protect you from sun, wind, and even windblown rain, but like every part of this trailer, they will draw people to your campsite asking for a tour.

Have we talked about the second set? The mood lights on the kitchen top, like the ones inside, can be set in a multitude of colors and of course you can put them in disco mode. There are six drawers below the three that come with the vestibule and this is custom, you won't. find it in any other mudroom another set of three drawers by the way this completely custom bottom drawer we found we have a lot of round things that we carry when we camp those little coleman gas bottles our coffee maker our flashlight uh roll of trash bags those They fit great in here and don't They bounce, they scatter everywhere.

I like having those nice, safe gas tanks. Perfect on this side. You have a nice plate to pull out to give yourself a little more space, but here's another one. something custom that no other trailer has, I should say no other vestibule trailer, this goes here instead of the breadboard and this is our extension table, it's fully adjustable, turn these handles and move this piece up and down, put this under, here it falls. in the slot and now you have this long extended table, why does it have a hole in the middle? I'll show you here where we have our cutting board and it slides into that hole to give you a nice cutting block there, plus when you need it, you can still access this top drawer to access whatever you have stored in there.

This extension gives you a full 45 inches, which is gold on a teardrop trailer at this direction 13 and a half, we have two doors on this one down because we like to have quick access to our drawers, but we have the other two doors so everything this can be covered on this side. We have a good place to hold the cutting board here. I added a shelf to another. which you won't see in any other mudroom and we have a place to put a standard two burner Coleman stove that has these holes here for the feet so it slides in and stays in place nothing stays in a trailer of drop, not only do we have the two burner Coleman stove that we use most often, but the trailer is also hooked up with propane that goes from the front to the back here and you can hook up an external propane hose to bring it here and use it? a big camp chef stove, something like that, it will come with a fire extinguisher here under the sink, there's a board to protect all the pipes, so that when you slide pots and pans or whatever is in there, you don't damage the pipes. pipelines.

This is magnetically attached, so it simply slides into place and clicks. There's a second one down here, behind the stove. By the way, we will include this case in this nice and practical carrying case and once it is unpacked and set up, it is quite waterproof. windproof dustproof keeps dust out of your trailer anyway and has great functionality and can come in through the side door in a pinch only one side also has the same for the kitchen door our trailer The lobby has been very good to us. We have taken it on many trips and it is so convenient that we like to have it all packed with clothes and everything ready to go.

All we do is hook the car back on the trailer hitch and head out of town.
