When Bollywood is good, it's like any American blockbuster on total steroids because it has this crazy, over-the-top influence and when it's bad, it's like a really incredible high. Production quality like the Tim and Eric movie, either way, I love it, man, I love how they just try to kill this guy, they're like, let's raise the bar so high, you did it, somehow you got more speed to grab the handlebar. It is this? a commercial, yes it's basically a Pepsi commercial, intense product placement, so how did they do it? They just really did it. I guess this probably looks like the most classic Bollywood effect.

More Interesting Facts About,

Elimination of cables. Elimination of cables. It's an intense shot. How do they do that? How do they do that? Oh yeah. So if you're looking down, the wires would be. I guess they would have to hide it between the cables. The camera. It could be on some kind of hip. It looks like it's on a hip. you can even see it a little bit on his shirt it looks like he's not that high off the ground and also the ramp is gone and the pole vault is gone everything is gone yeah basically and maybe that bar is CG the bar is probably CG because The cables would have cut it off, yeah also there's no definition on that bar, yeah it's like solid black or solid red, I'm color blind, oh how are you a VFX artist?

Sometimes it's hard, you know, wait a second, all the signs are false, yes, all of them. The only sound is fake effects it's probably the visual effects house working on this movie so this movie is about a guy who has mythological ancestry and powers that's why he's basically a superhero nowadays so when he's not there making sweet jumps, he is fighting. bad guys, yeah basically he has the bloodline of an ancient swordsman, wait who is this, who is this, his burly friend, oh dude, yeah, oh damn, they actually did that, it was a sweet trick, My first

ion was like, oh, they're miniatures and then, like what?
vfx artists react to bollywood bad great cgi 2
They don't look like miniatures no it's like a real set with a green screen it looks legit I mean it could be it could certainly be a miniature I think they just made it look legit yeah I think they just took something like that and I threw it over a ramp and like if it was a fucking slingshot, well look at the way the helicopter actually moves after being hit, it flexes in a way a miniature can't flex and that fire comes out of it like I love it. the power range that power rangers like look how small the jump is at that angle that was a small jump yeah that's real that's all real 100 so they're manually rotating that fire see that yeah, oh my god, there are so many mistakes, look? on the mask and then look at the pen on the right side as well what's the plan, dude, again, it's just the impact, it's the transition point that it's actually holding and you'll see over there, click, yeah, on movement, you don't see it. that little glitch overall other than the fact that the CG arm looks like a hot dog, yeah you know the actual execution of making that shot is really good okay okay oh and also notice how in actually it's turning specifically so his arm just got cut off it's away from the camera if it had been turned the other way you'd have to use effects to track a stump yeah it would also be a lot harder to paint the arm because it will be absolutely easy to paint. an arm this, but once it's on your body, if you paint it now, suddenly you have an arm-sized space that you now have to fill with custom elements talking about arm-sized spaces.
In fact, I have a clip so you can see what segway what I can tell you right now I know this actor and he's a normal sized guy so this is a movie about a little person who is very well off and they are trying to find themselves ; in reality he is 5'7 and in the movie he is 4 8. the effects in this movie are so perfect that my brain hurts, it's a complete camera movement like it's tracking backwards and also turning to the right, yeah, It's like Lord of the Rings or there just isn't one because it's like that.
It's pretty easy to do a camera move and you know, normal sized people and small sized people did that in Lord of the Rings, we discussed it in a previous episode, but they're holding hands here, that's what I like. leaves you speechless. I'm very confused. No, no, this doesn't hurt your head, man, but let me explain this for you, so in every take of this movie where this actor was reduced to four and eight, they had to film five takes. one take and they rebuilt everything in post when we did the boss time dynamic which was probably like a five, six, maybe seven step process.
This is a 28 step process to make this guy look like a little person, so the first take they did was just the actors walking together without the floor, all their sets were like Legos, so all the floors could move and take out, so he was down and he was holding hands, they were holding hands, they were both in the shot. but they're still holding on, so the hand grip is real, the handling is real, okay, in the next shot they do the actor on the right doing his move without people in the background, without extras extending his hand without the actor main, the next shot is a clean plate with no extras just just the background they do another shot just extras and then the final shot is the main actor holding an invisible hand it's just him with no extras walking down with his hand out because talking about spaces of the size of an arm when you're painting something and you have a hole the size of a hand that you need to replace, you need that information, so the actor itself is the information that you would need to shrink it and fill the gaps, but that doesn't make sense .
Although, what is it like? It's not just that he's shorter, but he's scaled, yes, no, exactly smaller and thinner, so what shot are they using for that? I think they're using all the takes and different parts, so it's like we're able to merge different parts of each take. Yes, that's what it seems to me. It has to be a motion control system. Yeah, they had some pretty intense technology to film this movie because if that was the case, then that crazy camera movement. what they do at the end isn't so crazy because it's repeatable, so I guess the body double is like the reference, yeah, look at that, okay, the next shot after this, where it's like some kind of medium shot for both.
They still shrink him, they still shrink him like his shoulders aren't as wide, yeah, his shoulders, yeah, there's less distance between his shoulders, see, that's the thing, if he were shorter, he'd look crazy, yeah, exactly, I see what you're saying. This is a complicated composition, you guys really want to see something crazy that makes my head hurt like she's interacting with it. I'm still having trouble understanding this. I see the elements here, but I can't tell how. We're still putting them together, how do they look so naturally locked and in sync? I don't know if you guys have any ideas about some zero visual effects besides the behind the scenes video on the internet, please leave a comment below, let us know how.
This is done, we have to solve this man's case, this one is intense, a lot of guys, what are you going to do when they come for you, when they come for you, oh, watch out, we're good, because we have this guy. Duty is chilling. so strong look at that look at that track look at that track janky dude oh my god you see like the edge the edge matte feather on the side they're all superheroes yeah seriously oh two bbs oh explosive bombs still shooting babies oh, I have a The car is coming towards me, no problem, I'm just going to stop it, so this is Ambala 2015, one of my favorite Bollywood action scenes.
Let's go back to that jeep jump. This one for the first time looked like it wasn't done in the original take, oh. dude this is like photoshop yeah nephew photoshop effects because the perspective doesn't change as you go from the right frame to the left frame but they put a reflection on the van yeah like I'm about to say work with cables for these things, but now I'm looking at it, it's like oh wow, but stay tuned because the next shot, the next shot is the cable work, okay, it's definitely at least a cable shot because the perspective of the car It's changing, yeah, yeah, I feel bad about the trick. man in the jeep in that shot look at that impact it's like snapping the snapshot the freeze frames are honestly the best part of this and I can tell you how they did them so they shot the camera from three different angles and the starting photographer was Well it's time for the photo shoot buddy, those matrix bowls are real, wait, they've never been touched by a human hand, like they're perfectly pristine, so it's probably a VFX shot because they're coming out of the ramps that cars crash on like it's a real explosion, but then the uh, it looks like the base of the explosion is fake, yeah, because I think they're reworking it to paint the ramps.
Was he winking at the camera or at the ladies, the ladies, the ladies? I mean, you can see the ladies with their glasses, oh you. You're right, you literally see the women in his reflection and the reflection is actually reflected in his glasses, that's visual effects. We just discovered a hidden secret VFX shot. Yes, you see how people move with these glasses instead of like me. I'm asking that question as a joke but you are absolutely right, they literally followed the ladies into the reflection, they see that they should be in one place and their lenses reveal them and then when it moves away they stay in place while it is cleaned, but in the shot here the ladies are really moving with their glasses on, it's like he has bifocals, that means he has eyes just for these ladies no matter where he looks.
Yes, they are ladies. Yeah, I had no idea until I didn't believe. I think it's a detail. from the shot that no one noticed ambala ambala bravo yeah bravo, if you guys have any kind of Bollywood scene that features a cooler guy than this, I won't believe you, but maybe leave it in the comments below. Hey guys Jake, you might know me. As a producer around here and well, I'm here to talk to you about today's sponsor, Raycon, I wanted to talk to you honestly today because most people don't understand exactly how difficult it is for me to do my job here, for example.
I'm supposed to tell you about these headphones and all I really want to do is go get a glass of water, unfortunately for me I can't go out because it's like a Bollywood action scene, people are jumping on each other, there are bullets flying . everywhere normally that would drive me crazy, but courtesy of these little headphones right here, when I put them on it's like I'm the only one in the room, let me show you what I mean. The first thing you should know about Raycon headphones is that they start at about half the price of any other premium wireless headphones on the market and guess what they sound just as amazing.
