that culminated in the January 6 insurrection. The former president appeared in Federal Court in Washington D.C to answer his four-count indictment. The indictment also accuses Trump of knowingly promoting false allegations ofelection
fraud and pressuring former Vice President Mike Pence to reject electoral votes. Trump's defense attorney denies that accusation. Trump's final request to Vice President Pence was to pause the vote count to allow states to weigh.
