Traveling Apple AirPods Review

Well, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that my Beats headphones have a layer of super glue and a layer of tape, but the good news is that yesterday was my birthday, so I was lucky enough to get a new pair from Apple.

er in the world, everyone else has already talked about these, they have been available for months, but I want to talk about what I think about them and how they are holding up. my particular needs I have a lot of notes of things I should keep in mind with these that I want to compare to the beats above and two other wired headphones I've owned.

The Sonys sounded better, which makes sense, but I was expecting to slightly prefer the Beats because they have more base, there's a lot more bass present, but it was a much more balanced sound coming out of the

, they had a lot more good midrange presence, the base was less dominant and when you switch back and forth between the beats and the Airpods, the Beats sound very muddy, so they definitely had a more balanced sound than the previous headphones.

Plus, everyone has already talked about the fit of these. It really depends on your ears. My ears fit your ODS headphones perfectly. Apple Airpods, so yes, these are enough for me. Its sound isolation was at a really practical level for me, where you can hear what you want. you're listening, but you're also aware of your surroundings on a plane, the soft ear inserts on the Beats make listening much quieter, so in that case they may work better, but in everyday use it's totally personal . taste and often need headphones to keep me connected to the real world. I was worried there might be too much latency when editing videos with them, but that wasn't a problem. These are my first pair of fully wireless earbuds, so One of the first drawbacks I noticed is that every time I need to take them out of my ears I have to take out the case, put them in the case, and put the case away with the only cable connecting the earbuds.

I'll be used to it, it's something I can definitely get used to, but it's nonsense, that sounds like a unanimous rejection by more modern people. I know we should do the helicopter.

I haven't seen Apple airpods, what do you think these are? Great, they're not great, they seem to be missing something, but hey, what do they know? Is it the cable? Yes, I think everyone is looking for a way for Apple to add a little more control to these simple headphones, but that obviously adds complexity. Also, it's fine with me if they take their time to add more functionality because they work pretty well right now. Apple still uses Lightning cables on all of its iOS devices, but I think the iPhone 7 and AirPods were the best time Apple could have hoped to make the inevitable transition to USBC. Putting lightning bolts on airpods makes it much harder for me and I think for Apple, USBC seems like the future everywhere. I think it will be a challenging transition. for them, it's okay, we're back home and apparently the studio has been turned into a garden while we were away, but I had a few weeks away to test the Apple airpods and I think they're pretty good, they're not perfect, there's a million. little things wrong with them, like I could list more problems than obvious reasons why they are great, but they just fit really well into my life, pocket-friendly, ease of connectivity, great sound quality, they just worked the way which I wanted them to work, but definitely used some firmware updates from Apple.

I think those double tap issues where it won't respond are based on iOS firmware issues similar to what happens with plug-in headphones, but it's not as big of a problem as when I had these wireless headphones. I think the case could be designed a little differently for that one-handed problem I was talking about, maybe like they just slide out instead of having a lid. Don't know. I mean, there are other ways to do it. I think version two, version three. These headphones are going to be really great right now, they're better than anything else I've ever had and I'm honestly really happy with them.

They seem to be universally thought to be cool, but you know, they're definitely still cool. They look great at least when they don't have users, so for now the Apple Airpods are my new favorite headphones. I'm very open to the Next Generation probably becoming my favorite headphones. Some of the Beats also look great if you prefer a string around your neck, but I really like the way this cordless thing fits in your pocket anyway. That's all for this video.
