Tower of Babel: Origin of Races with Ken Ham

Jun 02, 2021
we're going to talk about an issue of the

origin

of so-called

races

and I say so-called

races

because one of the things that I'm going to tell us is that biologically there are no different races at all, the fact is that we are all one race now we're really dealing with the

origin

of human beings i thought i'd start by showing you a little video clip of bill nye you know bill nye the scientist or i call him bill nye the humanist or atheist guy or whatever i debated him right here on this stage four years ago and half and one day after the opening of the ark, he wanted to go through the ark, so he took him through the ark and we can film it. we all have it uncut on a dvd it's called the second debate and for two hours i challenged him i asked him questions i presented him with the gospel so i thought you might be interested in where he thinks humans come from ok who are they ? our ancestors because i would say our ancestors were adam and eve ok well let's see who bills n you say their ancestors were so it's not crazy it's extraordinary but not crazy to suggest mars was hit with an impactor through from what is usually called an orbiting home an orbit where it goes falls towards the sun but ends up on earth you and me are descendants of martians okay and that's not crazy that's not crazy it's crazy that you and I are descendants of adam and eve we are descendants of a common ancestor but it's crazy that's absolutely not crazy god made the first man and woman and where the center to me there's no evidence of that so it's crazy but i wouldn't use that word What would you say? it's a you're betraying your intellect you're not using your head so you're saying it's crazy well then bill nye thinks it's crazy if you believe with an adam and eve sentence but it's very scientific and logical to think that we are descendants of martians well what what i want to do is show you today what happens when you start thinking with the word of god look this is not just a book about spiritual things, moral things, relationships, if we really understand the bible, it is a history book that is a revelation of all knowing god so the only way we can be sure we have the right worldview is to start with what god has revealed in his word and build our thinking on that and of course when you do it in Regarding the history of humans, you find that God made two humans, Adam and Eve, by the way, it was when he made the first marriage that he made Adam. dust off the woman on his side and it is interesting in the new testament in matthew 19 when they asked jesus about marriage he said you have not read the one who made them at the beginning he made them male and female which is genesis 1 27 and he said for this course he will be a man of his father and mother and cleveland his wife and they will be one flesh which is genesis 2 24 and what he is saying is that god made man out of dust a woman on his side you become one because you are one flesh and you you are male and female bec because god made them male and female so marriage is to be a man and a woman no matter what the united states supreme court says because god invented marriage and if there was a man and a woman and if the bible story is correct we are all descendants of one man and one woman how many races are there biologically there is only one race it is called the race of adam you realize we are all members of the race of adam it is very important to understand why we take the gospel to every tribe and nation why because we are all one family we are all one race we are all adam's race the human race is very important to understand that so when you hear people on tv talking about the different races immediately You have to jump up and say wait a minute, there's only one biological race, the human race, Adam's race, and actually, what's interesting is, as I'll show you as we go through today, secular scientists say that biologically, genetically, there is only one race and therefore they listen to people.
tower of babel origin of races with ken ham
For example, like Sharpton and Jesse Jackson talking about race etc, actually the terminology itself is fueling racism and goes against the truth of what we know scientifically about the human race and certainly goes against what we we know biblically about the human race but before we can get into all of that we have to do a couple of things first I want to answer one of the most frequently asked questions why do atheists say this all the time when you say oh there was adam and eve and then the bible says cain and abel and seth and that will say well where cain got his wife from and actually many christians don't even know how to answer that this is an example of why we need to teach apologetics to our churches to our youth because that is lacking in For most churches, we are not teaching them how to answer skeptical questions to defend the Christian faith.

More Interesting Facts About,

tower of babel origin of races with ken ham...

Many people have told me that because they never received these responses when they were at church or from home. it made them doubt the bible and turn away from the christian faith and there's an incredible exodus from the church right now in our western world, you know, the older generation, those born before 1928 before 1928, they're called the greatest generation, you know 56 of them in america went to church millennials only 18 of them go to church that's the change that's happening in america it's already happened in the uk it's happening in australia it's happening in canada it's happening all over the world western and we have done research on it and published books on it and a lot of it has to do with generations being sent to an educational system where they are throwing god the bible prayer our creation out 95 percent of the kids from church homes go to the public school system and there they are taught evolution as a fact and by the way when they threw out the bible they didn't throw out christianity they didn't throw out religion they threw out christianity and re they summoned a religion. a region of naturalism or atheism there is a state religion in america it is a religion of atheism and your tax dollars allow that state religion to be imposed on generations of children but that is true throughout our western world and you see those children and then they go to church where they are taught all kinds of bible stories, in fact the word story nowadays even means fairy tale and we need to stop using the word story for that reason because it has changed meaning but they have the idea that we have church and home histories but in school we learn real things and real things tell us that genesis is not true and many of our church leaders have said that you can believe in evolution millions of years doesn't matter so discarding the book of genesis is one of the reasons why the church hasn't been at the forefront in dealing with racism and i'll tell you why because if you don't understand and believe n that the story in genesis has no basis to deal with the issue of race and that is why it is so imp important and many of our churches due to the teaching of evolution of millions of years and even many pastors have said that it is so controversial they don't know how to deal with it and wellness don't worry about it and maybe god used evolution let's talk about jesus but the message of jesus comes from this book and if the first part of the book is not true how can the rest be and not only that the first part genesis 1 to 11 is fundamental to all biblical doctrine of theology the whole gospel is based on genesis the doctrine of marriage is based on genesis if you raise generations that do not understand believe in genesis they have no foundation for their vision of world apart from what man says we decide and then we wonder why we see even millennials in our churches support gay marriage and abortion so what i want to show you It's that look when you take that story into the word of God that begins in Genesis, it gives you a foundation for a correct world view to deal with. problems like this and we are going to deal with that practical problem today regarding the origin of the so-called racial prejudices, racists, etc., to begin with, we must answer this question: where did Kane get his wife?
tower of babel origin of races with ken ham
Well, let me. I ask you a question, can you marry your relative? Yes, probably, only after getting counseling now, I ask that question because a lot of people have the idea that when you get married, you don't marry your relative. I have news for you when you get married. if you don't marry your relative, you have a problem because if your wife was not related to you before you married, you have a real problem, you see, we are all one family, we are all related to each other. marry your relative it's just today you don't marry a close relative and by the way you can google it different countries have different rules regarding that but it's actually a principle that really goes back to the bible to Leviticus because you see in the time of moses god brought in those laws against near marriage now if you think about it abraham was married to his half sister it wasn't a problem right so adam and eve had kane abel and seth, and people say well where did cain get his wife? where did i fall bring your wife well let's think about this for a moment actually i lost my slides here wherever they went um somewhere down here okay one of corinthians 15 45 says adam was the first man how many men were there to begin with? one is fine, Eve was given that name, because she was in Hebrew literally says to be the mother of all living, so there was a man, a woman, in fact, acts 17 26 when Paul is talking to the greeks said god made man from one blood some translations say all nations of men trodden one on the face of the earth in other words we all go back to adam and eve i was in a restaurant in london several years ago and the chefs heard that we were having a conference nearby and that we believed in the bible and d came up to our table and said do you think the bible said yes we believe the bible said no I believe the bible said why not well the bible says god made adam and eve and they had cain and abel where were all the people come from then i said oh genesis 5 4 it says adam had other sons and daughters and he said oh i didnt read that much so no he didnt read so much we did not read enough so the bible says ad an and eve had sons and daughters, which means that if there was only adam and eve, they had sons and daughters and if the doctrine of marriage is one man for one woman, which is based on the creation account in genesis, then originally the brothers must have married her. sister you'll see as soon as you say that then you have atheists and others saying well that's immoral actually an atheist radioed me once and said I'm an atheist and if you think the brothers married the sisters then that is immoral.
tower of babel origin of races with ken ham
I told him you're an atheist, you can't call me moral because then what do you base your standards on well? You have no absolute basis for your standards. You can't call me immoral, but you see, I explained it like this. See, God made Adam and Eve and they were perfect, so their genes were perfect, but Adam. you sinned and you have to understand sin and what it did to the world remember if you eat from the adam tree you will die our bodies will wear out and die god no longer holds everything together perfectly so we degenerate and the older you get the more you understand that, right and so because of sin and the curse there are now mutations there are errors so when your genes are copied from one generation to the next there are now copy error mutations because it is now a fallen world. and then they add up for the next generation and the next generation and the next generation six thousand years later here we are sitting in a room and it's full of bugs sorry i can look around the room and see that just looking at one for everyone, but here is the problem, right?
The problem is this to help us understand this. If they are closely related today they are more likely to have similar bugs if they want to and if a brother and sister had married one day have similar bugs inherited from their parents then when you get fertilization and an egg is fertilized and those mistakes come together and reinforce each other you can have problems in the offspring that's why it's better to marry someone further in the relationship from you and where you have a bad gene so to speak they have a good one that will mask the bad gene , you get the idea and instead of having some deformity maybe you just have a crooked nose, you look in the mirror and see your nose is stuffy and your chin is out of place and your eyes aren't quite straight look those mistakes are all there but their mask if you want for good genes now the further back you go in the story the less problem it is adam and eve were perfect their genes were perfect their children would have had few mistakes and therefore marriage of close relatives as long as a man to a woman was not a problem originally, but it is a problem today and there is no need for close relatives to marry today because we have so many people anyway and so you see that it is a very easy to be able to explain to people just understanding a little about genetics a little about mutations helps to shed light shed light on everything but uh the doctrine of marriage is one man to one woman when you marry you marry a relative it's just today you don't houses with a close relativeyou know it's interesting too atheists will bring this up they'll bring it up all the time they'll say well wait a minute that's incest an incest is wrong good again they are making a moral judgment they are atheists how can they make such a moral judgment right and from their perspective when men evolved humans were just they are animals anyway and as we evolved from maple as creatures who mated with who when what what do they think we have a problem when we say marriage is one man one woman for life and that's what marriage is about doctrine of marriage, but look at the other thing to remember, the English language didn't really come into existence until around the 11 1100s, and it's a mixture of all sorts of different things, as you know, and the word incest didn't really come into being until around the years 1200 1100. 1200 around the 13th to 12th century and words over time can change meaning and we can make them broader in their definitions, which is the case with many words and today under the word incest they put a whole range of things, some of which have always been immoral, but not brother-sister marriage in the context of biblical history, so, again, just understanding a little bit about word origins and that kind of thing helps us to be able to answer those questions and then there are people who say well wait a minute cain didn't go out to the land of no and look for his wife no the bible does not say that it says that he went to the land of no and met his wife with whom he had relations his wife was already married and then in the bible it says that cain was afraid of people and people say Who are you afraid of?
Well, if you think about it, when Kane killed Abel and you are almost 100 years old, there you realize the population growth is exponential and, therefore, when Kane killed Abel, there were many family members, you know. , i think my mother is 90 years old in australia, she has ne 46 great grandchildren well think about it look the point is you start with adam and eve having sons and daughters having sons and daughters the moment kane kills abel you know who was scared of his family members because there would have been many by then and he killed one of them so you see these things are very easy to answer now let's continue here because we want to understand ok if god made adam and eve and we understand about cain's wife etc ., but how do you get all the differences we see in people today? the shape and shape of the ears etc and they are a distinction you can say oh this person is an Australian Aboriginal or this person is an American Indian or an Eskimo or a Fijian how did those differences come about how does that happen and you understand this , we're going to have to do a little bit of what I call basic genetics sorry there are people who say I never studied genetics if you got married and had children you studied genetics so it's easy and we're going to do some basic genetics and then i also want to talk about skin color and topics like that to help you understand how this is all easily explained we are going to do genetics regarding animals and then apply the basic principles of genetics to man now we have got a molecular geneticist on staff dr georgia purdum she will tell you it is much more technical much more complex than this but the basic principles are the same so we start in the bible it says god made types of an imals after their kind about ten times we read that after their kind the implication is that each kind produces its own kind so we need to understand what the word type means because we find it again in genesis 6 and for those of you who are in the bow, we know we have a full display on what the word type means in relation to how many animals were actually needed on the spot because the bible says that two of each kind, uh, seven pairs of some, but two of each kind of animal earth breathing air went on the ark when bill nye was on stage here with me he made fun of me for believing in noah's ark he said there was no room for the millions of species on board ah species oh wait a minute the bible actually uses a hebrew word the hebrew word i s pronounced means and when you look at the hebrew word that is translated type we have to wonder what that word actually means well in our classification system kingdom following class order family genus species what we would say is that this is that in our language today and with the arbitrary classification system that we have we would say that the hebrew word means that it translates type in most cases it actually corresponds to the level of family classification, you see, it also becomes a problem where people can get confused because the word species originally really meant type, but the word species has changed its meaning and they're good at a different meaning today we won't go into all of that it's a whole different talk huh in itself now when you're in the ark on deck one you'll notice at the end at the forward end we have a display with a cut out bow and we're saying at most you need about 1400 kinds of animals on the ark not tens of thousands not t millions just 1400 and we would say that is vastly overestimated and we actually have a list of all the The groups or guys we sell books in the gift shop of all the research our scientists did to show how they did this for example dogs it's easy there's a lot of information about dogs and so it has a lot of different species of dogs , but you can find documentation showing that they are all connected, in other words, this species was bred with that one, that one, that one. never raised with that but a bread with that that was raised with the bread with the bread with that you get the idea and you can show when we show that they are all interconnected like this we say then they are all the same type and our scientists did that and they found at most 1400 types it's overestimated because we prefer to overestimate for the sake of argument because let's take bats there are several different species of bats that we suspect there is only one type of bat but have never documented we have tested the species for reproduction, so we let them be separate types, so we're overestimating when it comes to the fossil record.
We see similar creatures that we think are the same type, but they are given different species names and so we let them be. different types but you see the problem is you can't see them interbreed when they are a fossil because they are dead for those of you who misunderstood so we let them be separate types so we really think the actual number is less than a thousand types and most land animals are pretty small, they're actually the average size of a land animal is very small, so there's a lot of room in the ark, that's the point we're getting to now when it comes to dogs. so we would say the dog type is actually family level canadai the dog type and then the cat type i feel today so that's the friendly level the family level so let me explain this because look at one of the things that what you will find is that evolutionists like bill nye when he says new species form they say that is evolution new species has nothing to do with evolution there are 34 species of dogs they say ok you have your domestic breeds for example you have wolves coyotes fennet jackal fox uh dingos you got i have all sorts of different species of dogs and this is what the secular world says based on genetic, morphological and behavioral data it is clear that the domestic dog originates from the wolf so something like this gave rise even these, right?
Do you realize what poodles are? considered the same species as a wolf right there you see the difference there by the way and yet they are considered the same species and you look at them and you say it doesn't even look like a dog when you look at it and I want you to understand something it's happening here genetically because speciation has nothing to do with evolution. Evolution requires completely new information that never existed. It was added to the genes. What you really see when you don't look at what's going on with different species and different breeds etc is actually a loss of information until you get to the point where there isn't much information left as you can see which poodle is that he's the poodle at the end of the line when it comes to dogs okay because if he lost any more information he would be gone i mean it would be the end okay so we didn't know how many dogs god originally made saint made two dogs and they married their children and they married their children and they married they had children and we ended up with a typical family of homeschooled dogs okay not everyone understands that either but okay so how do we get these different species of dingoes? wolves coyotes jackals etc. ok so in genetics we have a convention where we label genes with letters big a small a big b small b capital letters stand for dominant genes small a recessive genes and so on now there are thousands i mean in humans the I would say there probably are between 25 and 30,000 genes, which means there are millions of trillion trillion trillion combinations.
The number of combinations is mind-boggling, so we have one set of genes for the male and one for the female. Imagine that this is a male and a female. dog and so sexual reproduction one set of genes for the male one for the female these are basic principles fertilization here is an individual now that individual will look different from the parents but all the information came from the parents it has a different combination of information for the parents it actually has less information because it no longer has the little b little c the little c you see that and then you get these other combinations i like to think of this little one a little little b little b little c little c representing we call our dogs pure breed like poodles now when we call them purebred they are not pure in the sense of perfect but what we mean by pure is that we have removed the information just because Because this is what we do artificially.
How do we get our different breeds of dogs? Oh, here is a dog with a short nose. short nose genes you get the idea and we've done it to get our domestic dog breeds and by doing that you remove variability and information but because of sin now you're also concentrating mutations so that's why if you have one of those purebred dogs like a poodle or choa or something like that, you know you have to take them to the vet and spend millions of dollars to keep them alive right? Oh, because this particular breed has arthritis issues, this has eye issues, it's not.
That's right, you learn it well, but you know if you think about it, the mongrel dog on the street that's a mix of everything in the neighborhood, you can run them over with a truck and they'll stand way above them, uh, while that your little purebred dog catches a cold and a million bucks to keep the thing alive i mean that's the way it is and this is an important point to understand as well you see because really if you look at something like a poodle you know that we make a mistake. in our children's books and sunday school materials in our churches because you know what you read often you know god made all the animals we see today god made the poodle now think about it when god made everything he said it was very good you can't look at a poodle and say that because you realize the correct definition of a poodle is that it's a sin-cursed degenerate mutated copy of the original doll that's what it is it's a mutant so God made the creature original see here it is By the way, what happens when we teach children through our children's books and Sunday school material that God made all animals the way we see them today and then they go to public school and are told no animal change and look at the species that w formed and then they say wait a minute so the bible can't be right so you see god made the type of dog that's true and the poodle is a copy of the type as a dog, that's fine, and you know you think about that too.
I always try to think of things from the perspective of a Christian worldview. An old lady once told me but my poodle is going to be in heaven with me and you know I try to be sensitive and all that and but I have to be honest and I said ma'am there is no sin in heaven so we deal with that issue now i want you to think about this ok if it is a poodle if you breed a poodle with a poodle can you go back to the original dogs? the answer is no, you don't have all the information in there to do it, but if you start with the original dogs, could you theoretically go back to a poodle?
You see that the answer is yes now to help you understand that this is where the mind is placed: by blowing you know how many atoms there are in the universe they estimate atoms you know how small an atom is if they estimate that in the known universe there are from 10 to 80 atoms of power that's such a big number you can't even think about it do you know how much information is in our genes right now do you know if you took a man and a woman? Of this audience, how many children could you potentially have without having two with the same combination of information?
Is that number compared to thenumber of atoms in the universe. Now, people, this is where this is. they don't understand this if you start to realize that god put that kind of variability that genetic diversity already in the dog type the elephant type the cat type the human type you get the idea two of each type of land animal seven pairs of some went into the ark and come out of the ark and as they increase in number they are not going to stay together they will split up and move away from each other and you end up with different combinations being dominant at different Gro raises depending on which one mates with which one what bits of information survive, which is lost, which is combined with other, you get the idea and you get different species and it says in public school textbooks, that's evolution, it has nothing to do with evolution, that's what opposite of evolution, here we have two dogs that got off. noah's ark they have a s gene for short hair lg for long hair snl together they give you a medium hairline thin dogs and so you get a dog that inherits the 2s genes oh look it has something new evolved the new short hair actually it new is the combination of information, it actually has less information than the parents, right, and it's the longest that the l gene has, so it's the combination that's new, not the information, and then you get one that's the same and then, look, it has evolved, it is long. hair and you like darwin's finches oh look there are finches with big and small beaks evolved what do you have pictures of big and small beaks what do you have finches with big beaks and piggy What are you going to have pinches with big beaks from little big ones?
It is not evolution. Look around the room. People with big beaks. Small pieces. It's just not evolution. climate and in a cold climate those with short hair medium hair get cold and die and now you are left with dogs with l genes that by themselves only produce dogs with what al genes then you have those that go towards a warm climate in a warm climate those with long hair medium hair overheat and die and now you left dogs with only s genes standing alone only produce dogs with s genes so what's new natural selection results in new combinations of already existing information loss of conserved information no new information at the moment the opposite of evolution natural selection is the opposite of evolution and yet the kids in our schools are taught that natural selection is a p the art of evolution look you know that we have never seen mata produce a bit of information like you have in your DNA and DNA also has the information for a language system to read matter from DNA it can't of producing a language system on its own, it never produces a bit of information on its own, but we have millions of bits of information, God put all that genetic genetic diversity there to begin with, and now, over time, since the flood, you can get all these different species and see its interesting that there are 338 breeds of dogs that we bred over several hundred years through artificial selection ok ask yourself what natural processes can do in a few thousand years in the wild because 4,300 years have passed since the flood acted on genetic diversity.
A lot can happen in a short period. of time because genetic diversity already exists look at evolutionists they don't believe that genetic diversity already exists that's why they say it takes millions of years now here I want to show you something I'm looking at these two breeds of dogs, the Great Dane Yorkshire Terrier, they are from the same species, but they look very different. breeds and he said look what can happen here in England he said with these dog breeds look at those differences so given millions of years look what can happen he used an example of what happens quickly to say it happens slowly and this has much less differences As you can see, do you know what I'm telling you?
Evolution is absurd. People have been scammed and so over time it's very easy to get all your different species of dogs. It does not take millions of years and, in short. here's a jar of jelly beans representing genetic diversity in dogs over time you can get less and less diversity less and less information until you hit the stage there's not much information left and by the way i hate cats just so everyone knows and for the record no one needed much less animals on the ark than we think he needed and since we said maximum fourteen hundred kinds, we think it was even less than a thousand kinds and then they came out of the ark and you can understand how you can make them all these different species form very quickly because the genetic diversity is already there, it's very easy to understand and that's what you look at by the way, you don't look at evolution now look at the human race, I want to take the genetic principles here and say, okay so when you look at the human race we see aboriginal australians, american indians, fijians, hawaiians, eskimos how do we get dist things like that?
Think about the dogs, you have to separate them. take them out and isolate them from each other can you think of anything in human history that could have separated people from each other and kept them isolated from each other the terror

babel

is very simple god gave different languages so whats up good genesis 10 says that they moved according to their language groups and their family groups and there were certain basic language groups that moved away from each other and developed all the various ethnic groups or cultural groups that we see in the world today and we all go back to noah and adam and always everything that what we are seeing is actually the development of genetic diversity that god had already incorporated into the human species, so when you go through the creation museum and you walk through creation corruption catastrophe confusion the

tower

of

babel

and then we explain this to you here and how everyone in the world today is descended from three sons ham uh hashem and japeth going back to noah going back to adam and then through of all that happened, god preserved the seed of the woman who was promised in genesis 3 15 the savior through all that history and then when you go to the ark on the third deck you will see the diorama of tara babe Me and all the exhibits there that deal with that topic, you know we now have to think about this in light of what is happening in our world and what was happening when Darwin published his book in 1859 on the origin of species by natural selection. the rest of the title said the preservation of the favored races in the struggle for life now that book was about animals but at the end of the book darwin said this in the distant future light will be shed on the origin of man and his history that he intended to take what that he had discussed regarding animals, different races, natural selection and he didn't understand genetics in his day, of course, and apply it to man, which he did 12 years later in his book The Descent of Man and in that The Descent book. of man is very very sad but it actually fueled racism you know what people are interested in nowadays if there is even a hint that someone said something they perceive to be racist or whatever that will ban them or will ban in libraries, right? een that kind of thing happened hey there was a case recently uh with uh laura ingalls wilder the national library association had an award named after her and she is the author of that famous series uh the um um what is it called um little house on the prairie oh yeah you know you know why I didn't want to name because I know my wife and daughters like that stuff to me it was so boring and all that fluffy stuff but did you know what the national association of libraries?
Did they say, oh, in his book that there are some racist undertones, so they said we won't be naming an award after him anymore? to the Indians and defend them and it was a book that represented the actual situation of that day actually but you know what's interesting I'll tell you a book that has unbelievable racist statements and it's called the descent of man but they won't forbid that most of people have never read it i would say probably most people in the national library association have never read it because if you read it you will know what it says at some future period the civilized races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace to the savage races the rift between man and his closest allies will then be wider than the Caucasians and some ape as short as a baboon instead of now between the black Australian aborigine and the guerrillas you know what?
Do you notice what Darwin says: Australian aborigines and people from Africa are closer to apes than what he calls Caucasians, how's that for racism? evolution is protected in our by secularists because it is the justification for their rebellion against God, you know, in 1924 a New York Tribune newspaper was published saying the missing links. I found in Australia the Australian aborigines and you know it's true in the history of Australia there were people uh scientists from Germany and England sent people to Australia to hunt the aborigines take them to the swamps listen to them over cliffs instructions on how to build their skulls and skin them all in the name of evolution, how's that for racism? and you know at 19 in 1925 at the scopes trial in dayton tennessee the famous scopes trial where john scopes was supposedly guilty of teaching evolution actually everything was set up by this aclu but the book he supposedly taught from and he wasn't even a science teacher but it was a book called civic biology by hunter it was used as one of the main biology textbooks in public schools in america in the 1900's and here's what it says in that book there are five races on earth today the highest type of all Caucasians represented by the civilized white inhabitants of europe and america darwin evolution ian fueled racism is intrinsically a racist philosophy why aren't people up in arms about that evolution is taught as a fact in our public school system? races, see, I think the church should lead the way in dealing with racism and prejudice, and if God's people would really take his word and really understand the story in genesis, we would be doing exactly that and the reason why I mean, let's get rid of the word racist. because years ago the word racist has changed meaning the word races used to mean a different ethnic group cultural group but due to the influence of evolution now races means inferior races advanced primitive superior races and that is why I challenge us to get rid of the word races in fact I suggest we use a term more like people groups people groups ethnic groups cultural groups i like people groups you know what is interesting secular scientists know that this is so for example Counseling Development magazine 1998 continues to gather evidence of that the term race does not make sense it is used to point out differences in people that are not definitive when i went to school my teachers said there were four main racial groups caucasoid negroid australoid you know what i never did i never asked my teachers how i was They decided on those groupings because now they know that those groupings ones are, in fact, incorrect the way they were made regarding racial groups in the year 2000, it was announced to the world in newspaper headlines around the world. that the human genome project was headed by an atheist actually Dr.
Venter, but they did an observational scientific study of genetics, drafted the complete sequence of the human genome, and unanimously declared that there is only one race, the human race. that you know what you know what the church should have said told you that we are all descendants of adam and eve the story in the bible is correct but i know because many of our christian leaders adopted evolutionary ideas and did not teach the book of genesis , you know what most people in my churches don't know what to do about that problem, we don't have a real Christian worldview regarding this number because we haven't built our thinking about the story right there in the first 11 chapters, you know , as you go along here, this is from Nature Genetics and Evolutionist in the year 2004.
Humans vary only slightly on the DNA level, only a small proportion of this variation separates continental populations or groups of people and this here the american biology professor 2011. here is the biological problem with race the genetic variation within each of the various ethnic groups of homo sapiens is major or that the one that exists between the various ethnic groups that you know what they are saying now what will decide once separate the races the variation the genetic diversity the variation within each group is greater than that between the groups what it means what that w The concept of race is nonsense, another quote from nature genetics, but the genes that explain phenotypic differences, characteristics such as hair color or skin tone between populations, only account for a small part of our genome, confirming once again that the concept ofrace from a genetic point of view has been abolished. look at the phrase small part of our genome do you realize they are saying the variations we see on the outside of humans ears eyes skin shadow whatever represent a small part of our genetic variability american biology professor 2011 all humans they are a race homo sapiens there is absolutely no genetic or evolutionary justification for the racial categories of humans, so how come we have Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson talking about race?
How come even Christians in our churches talk about race? There are no races. There is only one race. you know it's interesting in response to the human genome project in the new york times and quoting a professor of molecular genetics the criteria that people use for race is based entirely on prior free external characteristics that we are programmed to recognize and people In the culture in America people are particularly programmed to look at skin color what they call black and white and what I'm going to help us understand here is that there are no black people there are no white people there are not really really blacks not really really white people to see people look at me and say but you are a white person i can categorically prove to you right now in front of you i am not a white person i can prove to you that it is white if i looked like that you would be calling 9-1-1 we have an emergency what is your emergency there is a white person talking to us who is in trouble you know we all have one main pigment in our skin like when you go to the store and you say i want to buy a paint brown i want a dark brown a light brown very dark brown medium brown we have a pigment called melons a couple of different forms of melanin there are a few other pigments but the main pigment is melanin and there are quite a few genes involved but again just the basics principles to help us understand if big and big b represent a lot of pigment small angle b a little then if you had all a big and b big you would have very dark skin a small and b small very light skin on the medium large a small a large b small b you Would be medium brown Most of the world's population is medium brown if you have a skin tone not color because we are all the same color so we shouldn't talk about what color you are it's what tone you are if you group. people in the world you find that bell curve with medium brown right in the middle because that's the majority which means darker than me and you know it's easy to understand in our skin on the outer layer of our skin the epidermis on the top At the bottom of the epidermis there are these special cells called melanocytes that are here and they have these little tentacles here and on them are special little organelles called melanosomes that produce packets of melanin that give pigment and these little tentacles will carry that pigment here to your skin and your genetics will determine if you produce a lot of melanin or not so much melanin and when you go out in the sun and tan you will produce melanin to tan as much as your genetic genetics allow it is very easy to understand and it is important to have melanin because it protects you from ultraviolet radiation and then there is other mechanisms in which vitamin D is also formed in our skin, so you have to be able to get the light to form ar vitamin D and you know that God has established it. up to an incredibly complex human body that we have but the point i want could be that we shouldn't be asking what shade adam was and what color was adam and eve's skin it's what shade did they see we need to redo our terminology we should talk about shadow , not of color, groups of people, not of race, everyone is of color, not just some, so when people say there is a group of people of color, I have news for you, this whole room is a group of people of color because if you're not a color red person you have a problem right you want the color you need that pigment and everyone is related to everyone else it makes a world of difference when you see someone you don't like and you say but it's my relative, right?
I would have you pray for them because if you say I am praying for my lost relatives there are billions of them that gives you a burden and you know the applications in this. A man in Florida took the stage between talks. he was giving as he was talking about this and he said he had very dark skin people say he's a black man he wasn't a black man he was a dark shadow person okay and he came up on stage he said to me so ain't really black no uh we're all brown yeah wow he said i voted for president obama because he was black now you're telling me it was a stupid reason to vote for someone i said yes to which is a stupid reason to vote. someone and you know i use that later in the next talk and i told the congregation ation i said think about it we shouldn't vote for someone because they're supposed to be black or white when there's no such thing anyway or republican or democrat huh or in australia alp or party liberal or whatever you know what we should do as Christians whoever the person is and by the way we live in a fallen world and there will be no person who is truly Christian in any of their worldviews but what we should do as Christians is to judge what everyone says. against the absolute authority of the word of God and let that determine who we vote for and then I was in this church and there was a man and his wife sitting next to the pastor to my left and the man was very dark skinned and his wife he was very light skinned now people would say oh thats an interracial marriage biologically there is no such thing as interracial marriage because we are all of one race right it was interesting because the pastor told me he said the man turned to the pastor and he said to him this is great i'm just glad to know i'm not married to a white woman remember that chorus we learned in sunday school jesus loves little kids all the kids in the world red and yellow black and white actually teaches the wrong idea for kids and i think what we should be doing is teaching a song like this jesus loves little kids all the kids in the world shades of brown from dark to light they are all precious in your sight imagine if we started teaching that to groups of kids and by the way I have a new book coming out at the end of next end of next month called One Blood One Race for Kids and actually adults will love you will like it and it is full of information and i go through what i call the seven biblical races there is the created race the fallen race the rescued race in the ark and then there is the saved race and we come to the lost race and the race of the lambs and We explain to the children that they do not want to be in the lost race th They suffer the second death separated from god forever we are all members of the fallen race we all remember the rescued race because we are descendants of people in the right ark and god offers to all the race be the saved race and then continue anyway so ask what shade not what color adam and eve's skin was if adam and eve had all the little little bees the whole world would be that but if adam and eve you look at all the big a's and big b's everyone would be that but that lacks the genetic variability we see that it makes a lot more sense for Adam and Eve to be in the middle ground and out of two people in the middle ground you can get people that are lighter than parents, people who are darker than parents, that's very, very easy to understand, there are many families like you, you go to florida, california, you see many families like this, children obscure parents and are more clear that parents and see that's why they can end up with instances like this where they have and t these are from australia actually huh and probably much bigger than that now and uh these from um mainly uk uh but there are plenty of examples of twins like that and you see because of the

tower

of babel if some people in some groups married who who went extinct who was left who was cut off from whom if they ended up only with big aes and big bees it's only going to produce dark-skinned people if they ended up with just little bees and little bees alone they're only going to produce light-skinned people remember poodles with poodles only make poodles well these would have to mix with others to get back the genetic diversity that was already there to not having only fair skin but producing people with different shades is the same for eye shape one of the main factors in eye shape is the amount of fat on the eyelid but again eyelid but again it is just part of that genetic diversity that we have and the small part of our genome that it reflects are the differences on the outside, and as ABC News put it in 1998, what the facts show is that there are differences between us, but they stem from culture, not from race, and really the answer to racism is this: do you realize if it's racism, abortion, gay marriage, transgender, all? those issues are the same do you start thinking with the word of god or the word of a man and really the answer to racism is the same as the answer to gay marriage is the same as the answer to abortion the answer is the gospel to see people were saved by the lord jesus christ who then builds his thought in the bible to have a worldview that is christian which is the answer to racism and you know that i have already told you that biologically there is no such thing as interracial marriage because according to the word of god there is a biological race but there is interracial marriage against which the bible speaks and they are the spiritual races marry as a principle do not be unequally open disbelievers what society has ri justice with iniquity what fellowship light has with darkness you see what marriage imminent here the word of god clearly advises against if he kills the accounts against this or this or this what is the answer c biological fact to two humans belong to one race spiritual fact all humans divide into two races what is the difference between the two spiritual races the direction in which they run because there is the wide path that is the world and the narrow path within the path that runs in the other direction interracial marriage the word of god speaks against is marriage between the spiritual races and and i wanted to bring this to sort of a closure here using this uh to start the closure like this you will see there are people in our churches that I know of ministers in America who have taught that races are not to be mixed in marriage and they are talking about biological races when there is no such thing.
In reality, I discovered that there are families that are more more more concerned that their son or daughter does not marry with someone of what they perceive to be a different biological race when there is no such thing rather than they are of the same spiritual race and when I have asked some from these people they know will give me a justification for their supposed ideas against interracial marriage well the israelites were told not to marry the canaanites well that is true they were and i want to use the example of rahab if we could go and use the example of ruth and the moabites but let's use the example of rahab who was a canaanite living in a canaanite city jericho and yet the same rahab the same rahab there in joshua 625 it seems be the same in the lineage leading to jesus then how could that be because when rahab stopped being a canaanite spiritually and became an israelite spiritually believing in the true god she is free to marry an israelite why are they told the Israelites not to marry the Canaanites because they were pay? ns and that's what the whole problem was about and I want to challenge us, we tend to look outside and think that there are important differences that we have to stop doing that we are programmed to do that thing that we have to do Begin to understand that in humans the exterior reflects a small part of our genetic diversity and you'll see that a good example for me to understand this and apply is when Samuel went to anoint the king first Samuel 16 and we know Samuel didn't. i know it was going to be david and he met one of david's brothers and you can imagine putting on a modern binocular wow look at this tall muscular boy football star in smart school obviously going to be king remember what happened said the mr to samuel don't look at his appearance at the height of his stature because i have rejected him because the lord does not see as a man sees the man looks at the appearance but the lord looks at the heart you know it is interesting evolutionists look at the outsideappearance short hair long hair big little big spikes but you look inside the genetics and you realize wait a minute that's not evolution we tend to look at the outside oh look black white whatever wait a minute it's just minor variations and and shadow etc you know what we should be doing thinking about the heart, look, think about it, someone comes to your church, has a different skin tone than you, or the shape of the eyes, the shape of the earlobe or whatever we need to train it doesn't even look at the differences on the outside but to think about the person that person needs the lord do they need me to help them in any way that they need what a difference when you do that what a difference you saw a drug deal in the street and you say they are my relatives maybe I can support a downtown missioncity to reach them with the gospel how can I do that? i dont want them to go to hell i want them to be in heaven with me they are my family and you know even when it comes to ge marriage and dating and stuff like that think about a christian girl who says oh look at that guy at school you know he is the star football and he's strong I wish he'd take me out wait a minute young lady with whom he loves the lord with all his heart and all his soul and all his mind because it's not the outside that matters it's the inside or imagine a christian boy and look to this girl oh she's so pretty she has just the right amount of melanin that i like wow i would like to date her you know what?
Young woman, although she loved the Lord with all her heart, all her soul, all of them are mind because it is not the exterior that matters, it is the interior and I have a message for the children that is very important. remember this the exterior changes over time look at the mother and you will understand exactly what I am in trouble now you do not know sometimes when my wife is with me if I am talking about this topic she will be sitting in the front and I will say take my wife, i remember when i was 17 and beautiful and beautiful and now 47 years later i look at her and she is more beautiful than ever i know what to say but you know what, if you fall in love from the outside you can fall out of love but if you choose to love. inside and make that commitment before the lord and i can say that my wife and i love each other more than ever and this is how it should be what 46 years this year i think yes something like that then hey do you realize think about this for a moment we talk about mutant poodles dog species types animals on the ark kane's wife skin shadow racism prejudice marriage dating all in the same talk how can you do that you realize how exciting people are when we believe the story in genesis that it is the biological geology astronomical anthropological history that so many Christians have ignored and so many churches have ever taught and you understand that that is the basis of all our doctrine the basis of our worldview then you know Now why you believe what you do and you know how to answer questions and defend the Christian faith now, before we say goodbye, just give me two minutes very quickly, one of the most important parts of our ministry is the resources we have for In order to equip you so that you can defend the faith and so that you can be an incredible witness for the Lord Jesus Christ I encourage you to use our website we have many different websites we have about 30 million people a year on our websites and it has thousands of items we have a kids website we have an arc website building museum website a vbs website we have many different websites we also have here a program you choose where you can put together different combinations of books and dvds at prices reduced is one thing we do to allow you to get a lot of these materials now also mention that we have a sign up sheet that you turned in when you joined if you become a part of aig enter our email address or print address or whatever we will do to you I give a free DVD of my testimony, but it keeps you up to date on what we're doing at the museum, what we're doing in the l ark and in the ministry, so regarding the program you choose, my book, the lie apart from the bible is the textbook of this ministry the bible is the textbook obviously but besides the bible this is really challenging Christians to believe in genesis and how important it is to understand that all our doctrines are based on genesis and not to compromise the word of god and to understand as the basis of our worldview this is a new book that came out just a month ago it is really my heart regarding evangelism the message of the gospel has not changed the bible has not changed the culture yes and we have to understand our cultures more like a greek culture in acts 17 not as a culture of acts 2 and we have to change our tactics regarding evangelism to reach a Greek culture if we don't do that as a church we are going to be more and more ineffective in reaching people with the gospel and for me it really is my heart in all this min mysterio those two books are really all my heart and all the emphasis of this ministry and then the five books of answers 160 of the most frequently asked questions that your children go to ask me to make them doubt the Bible yes and young people, let me emphasize look at most secularists i mean they get on my twitter i know how they are a lot of them just live in their mom's basement waiting for me to tweet so they have some purpose and meaning in life and I tell them that they have no idea why they believe what they do, they just regurgitate what they have been taught in school, they educate themselves, they learn these answers.
I will run around them. You will be a witness of the Lord Jesus Christ in an incredible way and therefore they are the central books of our ministry that I encourage all of you to read. We have books made with one race, one blood, this one. deals with the technical details of adaptation natural selection genetics mutation by dr nathaniel jensen who has a harvard phd one of our staff just devastates the whole mechanism for evolution deals with speciation dog breeds all that sort of things I did today but a much more technical detail I encourage all high school college students to read those books that deal with a six day problem. going back to the grandsons of noah all the evidence is there and we have answer books for middle school kids and younger the same questions that older kids get they start asking them at a young age because they start doubting the bible at a young age early age books dealing with dinosaurs dragons how to lead young children to christ using the door jesus said i am the door rhyming books connect the bible with the real world and you can use them to teach the true story or f world history books which unfold to show how we all go back to adam and eve and how all nations fit together and there is also a detailed one um books dealing with world religions and cults all human based religions volume three deals with atheism secular religions because most young people most adults don't know how to talk to an atheist teaches you how to do it atheism is a religion is a religion against god but it's a religion and then a couple other things i have 12 30 minute videos what i did today is something like in this here a blood a race but these are six of my main talks done as 12 30 shows minutes and a study guide to accompany it is an introductory apologetics program used in many, many thousands, in fact, of churches and homes, we have a Sunday school curriculum that is unique in the world, it is from pre-K to four years study for adults.
Today the bible chronologically and connects the oldest new testament teaches those doctrines and teaches apologetics across ten thousand churches are now using that and pastors tell us it's revolutionizing their churches next year just so you know our program vbs our bbs is in the top three best sellers in the world right now a vacation bible school program and next year's is about what I made today for the kids and we even have, for example, a recipe where they make cookies and have food coloring from the same color and they put different amounts of color in each one to show we are all the same color just different shades they do all kinds of fun stuff but you know this is one of the best vbs programs in the world and you will see it when you see our bbs programs that's why thousands of churches use it and it's evangelistic everything we do is always evangelistic and one last thing our res magazine posts is award winning keeps you up to date on these things folks this is one of the most important educational tools your family can get every other week if you subscribe here at the museum we will give you a free digital subscription you will get the print issues every other month and you will get a free digital edition that you can give to all of your children and put them on all of your devices iphone there is no limit to the number of devices it is an amazing amazing tool that i encourage you to subscribe to while you are here and with that i will be here for a meet and greet and we will have vicky who will close here and give me time to run have a great day at the museum enjoy your day at the arch for those who are going tomorrow too thank you kim and if you stay alone if you stay just a few
