Top 10 Things You Remembered Wrong in Pokemon!Jun 17, 2021
Ok now I have two Eevee that trained my special defense Pokemon by beating 67 Pikachu to raise Eevee's level to 100. If I can spawn this Pokemon 394 times until it has a mischievous nature that increases its defense stat by 2 points , I will be able to use a leftover technique from Staller that will allow me to use toxics and outlive the Pokémon for 5.6 health. I see you have a strong Pokémon, so you know what I'm going to do? Here Dobbs brings you another
pokemonvideo and in this video I'm going to show you 10
thingsyou probably misremember in
pokemonbut before we start I want to introduce our guest for this video let me introduce Michael from M njtv guru James pogey fans Michael here and if not you know who michael is he is another youtuber doing pokemon toptenz and let's plays comedy so make sure to check his channel if i have any recommended videos it would definitely be these two and also me and michael. making another video on his channel tends to complicate
thingsa book you probably didn't notice as a kid so don't forget to check it out after this video so without further ado let's start with video generation 1 when there wasn't the hatching eggs for the perfect pokemon isn't an easier IV training it was all about using earthquake and surf because those moves were 100% accurate and extremely powerful that's what we all remember but what if I told you that that is
What if I told you that it moves? like thunderbolt flamethrower or ice beam could miss and i'm probably saying right now well of course dobbs can miss because these moves like the santa type that can reduce your accuracy well that's true on everyone but even with precision drop moves these unavoidable moves I might still miss and this is how being famous 1 and 256 failed fails and it's exactly as it sounds back in gen 1 there was a glitch that caused any move with 100% accuracy to fail without reason and strange s for it to happen was 1 in 256 and think about it the odds that you will notice this glitch occurs in 100% precision movement and remember that it is quite thin which is very rare and many people you probably don't even know are some of those that the pokemon couldn't learn, for example, Charizard, the notorious fire dragon pokemon which is actually a fire flying type in the original red, green and blue games.
Charizard, the large-winged fire-flying-type Pokemon, couldn't learn to fly rare, well, it gets even rarer in Gen 1 Voltorb an. Electrode, the Electric type pokemon couldn't learn any Electric type moves when leveling up and the same goes for Sandshrew and sandslash who couldn't learn any Ground type moves when leveling up. It's a good thing they fix this in the later games because that's just dumb, the original Pokemon anime was definitely one of the best TV shows during our childhood. It has so many unique characters with their own personalities like Meowth from Team Rocket or even Jigglypuff. or he likes to sing, but he gets angry when you fall asleep, but what if I told you that there is something you remember
Something that, even though it was right in front of you, you probably wouldn't notice. hinted that Julie puffs from the anime is actually a shiny though the colors of her skin and eyes are inconsistent throughout the anime the official image of a character on Wikipedia shows green eyes and light pink skin which is the same colors as a shiny Jigglypuff who is quite witty and awesome at the same time something a lot of people misremember in pokemon is the pronunciation of certain pokemon names but what's funny is that one of the most mispronounced pokemon of all time is here the second or third pokemon we encountered on our journey this one as a kid many of you probably pronounced it Rattata when it's actually pronounced rat-tat-tat funny well I think it's kind of funny even some of the legendary pokemon from most popular boxart are mispronounced like Groudon being called from the ground or Groudon and ho-oh being called ho-ho because apparently many of you think this Phoenix fireflyer is actually Santa Claus or Zubat, doubly promiscuous, it's probably one of the most popular Pokemon for the wrong reason.
We've all seen the image memes about how annoying zoo bats are and how much we encounter them. statistically speaking it hasn't been found to be as likely to run into a dove or a typical is significantly higher than running it with a zoo bat because for a diggie it spawns in most of the region and for two tentacle its basically the only pokemon the one you come across while surfing in the water poor zubat taking all the hate when there are so many much more annoying pokemon in the game remember back in the day and we are all nurse joyce and offi cer jennings looked exactly the same well you guessed it you remember that wrong it also turns out all these infamous twins wore different symbols on their hats so they could tell each other apart crazy right I can't I never figured this out before all these years of Not knowing which nurse Joy or the officer Jenny was which, but we now know that in the first generation there were a lot of tight Poupon with combinations of street types.
I mean, you had Gyarados flying in the water. Poliwrath being a water fight and aiming to be a water psychic, but wait what. if I told you that one of those type combinations is wrong if you had to answer, would you know which one to choose? Believe it or not, Golduck is actually a Pure Water-type and I bet at least half of you River is wrong even though he is. The pokedex entry states that Golduck v. Psychic Powers still remains a Pure Water-type. first discovering this through millions of pokemon fans around the world and raising the famous question why isn't the cider can golden as a partial sake type, well this might be why Indus theorized, ya that the psycho type was very powerful in generation 1, it has the only weakness game that decided to get less pokemon of this overpowered type, but it's just a theory to this day, we don't know the real reason why these psychedelic ducks not up to type 1 something a lot of people miss remember from anime and pokemon games pokemon sizes eg Charizard you probably think the characters are for a big ferocious dragon that can take down an ed One punch hole, well, actually you're not likely to be roughly the same height as Charizard, since Charizard is a mere 5 foot 7 inches.
This is a pretty common misconception as in the anime there are a lot of huge pokemon such as Mystery Dragon Knight in the lighthouse episode where the tentacle Tentacruel and the Tentacruel episode these pokemon were portrayed as giant Godzilla like pokemon when they were in r They're actually only about the size of an average human male something everyone probably misremembers is the generation some pokemon came from of course it's hard to keep track of all the pokemon when there are 800 of them But what if I told you? there is a pokemon from the first season of anime that you think is gen 1 but its actually not right its toka be toka be is actually a gen 2 pokemon and i bet at least 35% of you they
rememberedthat wrong i say 35% because i did a twitter poll on my pokemon parody account or almost 6000 people voted and 35% of them thought toka B is gen 1 heck even i thought oh kamil from gen 1 for a long time and let me tell you i first found this out time was absolutely mind boggling its a common misconception because tolkien ii was in the first pokemon season of the anime so everyone assumes toka bee is part of the 151 original, but it's actually a pretty crazy generation of Pokemon, ah t The Pokemon theme song, one of our proudest accomplishments as kids, was memorizing the lyrics to the entire song and singing it everywhere, but what if i told you that actually you've probably been seeing the wrong part of her all this time, yes, is that true?
The pokemon theme song is actually written differently than you'll remember here listen it sounds the same actually the singer is actually saying teach pokemon to understand not every pokemon to understand this is a concept so common that even official lyric websites get it wrong. but just look at the Bulba pedia article that says right there, teach pokemon to understand mind, well that's ten pokemon things you probably misremember.
