Jun 06, 2021
Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel. If you're new here, be sure to subscribe before you start this video. I want to thank Cheryl - Kay - jasmine - Teresa - Zeena in Carroll for the coffee. I really appreciate it. I also want to thank - Danny - Michelle - Elaine Natasha and Robin 4x6 off my Amazon baby registry. I really appreciate it, thank you so much again, so I get a lot of questions in my feedback emails about the

supplies

I used for birdie, so I thought. I would go ahead and make a video and put links in the descriptions of each of these items, Rowley, so I'll try to find all the links, whenever I can, so that these are the top ten

embroidery

supplies

that I always use.

I tell myself that I look in my

embroidery

room that I use every day for practically every shirt that I make, it's just original silly items and you guys always ask me so I'm just going to go ahead and get started so first thing is the Almighty. The tender touch may already taste a lot. I got a lot of questions and we didn't love what I was putting on the back of the shirts. That's this tender touch. I'll link it in the description that says after you finish embroidering this. It's what you cover the seams with, you heat them on the shirt.

More Interesting Facts About,

top 10 embroidery supplies for your at home business etsy seller embroidery business...

I do it for five seconds at 315 degrees and this is what I use. It is washable, so you can wash it with

your

shirts. It's perfect and you need

your

soft, perfect, tender touch. You can get it at Joanne's or on Amazon. I'll link this in the description below. The next thing that follows is that they are in no particular order. I just have them all, thank you. I'll grab them as I go. They're my coil, so these are the Magna ones. Sliding coils, this is what they look like, they are magnetic, that's what makes them so special because when it's on the machine, it pulls on them at a constant rate, the magnet helps with that, so it always sets the same rate.

I bet you barely make it. The thread breaks with these, that's why they are amazing and are very time-consuming pre-rounds, so I also get them often on Amazon from my machine. This is the L shaped arch and they have the brushes, what machines do you have please. Be sure to check which type works best with your embroidery machine. These also help because they can only go in one direction, so the magnet goes to the metal inside the coil case, so there's no need to know, try to figure out which direction is where. and making sure everything goes the right way because it only goes in one direction so it saves you a lot of time.

You can also get them on Amazon, that's where I get them. I know Stitch Not Net sells them too, so next article. It's very, very, very, very important, it's bonding heat and light, it's the purple one, you can get us on the big bolts, these are the 35 yard bolts, they have them at Joanns, you can get them too, I understand these. off at Amazon $35 one minus seven Amazon either within hours which I would never pay so get them when they are $35. This is very important because it goes on the back of every piece of fabric you used to apply and which prevents it from fraying from wrinkles and washes much better when you have heat and bonding light, so you just place this on the piece of fabric that you're going to put on, heat it up.
I hate it for five seconds, you take it off and put it on your shirt. and then you cut it, blah, look, blah, and at the end you heat the front of these shirts that has the fabric, here is the shirt too, so this is a necessity when you are doing applique, like I said, the whole design. It would look much sharper when you're done if you use this, so again I'll put the link in the description for this. Next thing most machines already come with it, but somehow I managed to lose three of them, so it's the needle threader.
If you have a multi-needle machine, threading them is ridiculous and frustrating and if I don't have this, I can't even work. I tried using scissors, they didn't help, so you need a needle threader, so it's very, very important, it's the next item again. The appliques are these curved Fisker scissors, you see the tip of them is curved and yes they are small, so I tried thousands and thousands, not really, but I tried a big assistant who tries to cut my appliques and especially get into those little ones. cuts and small pieces, they work best, they are the only scissors I have found, sword cutting applique, they are Fisker curved tip scissors, you can get them at Joanne's, but make sure to use a coupon if you have banjo hands or can get them. at Walmart they cost about 788 788 eight dollars depending on where you are they also have them on Amazon sometimes Amazon requires you to buy a 2 pack and sometimes it's a pack but I'll link it in the description like I said.
There is such a big difference without them. I kept cutting holes and the shirts had a lot of trouble cutting them after the sleeve, but these work great like these for me, they are made specifically for appliqués so without them I wouldn't be able to make half the shirts. I make and I would be cutting holes and half the shirts if I don't have them and I probably have about 40 pairs of these lying around. I always lose them, but there are small scissors but they work great. The following article is my thread. my thread of all stitches, this is the Madeira thread, yeah I can't even see where it says Madeira, but these are my favorite threads.
The third is from Madeira. They also now sell the smaller cones that would work on a Brother p800 if I have multi needle machines like you see behind me so I use the larger cones because it saves money. These cost about seven fifteen eight dollars for five thousand yards. If you go to Joanne's, you also get the small coats and employees for 750. and it's a small cone this size, so you get almost five times as much for these cones four or five times and it's cheaper. The reason I like the threads in Europe so much is because it has a bit of a shine to it and I don't have any problems with thread breaks, especially when using a multi noodle machine, it's very soft and when you're done the stitching looks beautiful when you use them, so I get a little bit of web of stitches.
I will also try to match them, but all the time. that Madeira also sells them on the website Madeira marked legs and I'm trying to link all these articles, but it can be a little difficult depending on what time the video uploads, if not you can always look in the comments, not just someone. I would have asked and found out that if I'm just for them, the next item is one of the most important, which is the shirts you embroider. I use small focus ARB blanks for my boys and girls shirts. They are of great quality, they are super soft. percent cotton, they are made specifically for embroidery, so they are just thick plush, you don't really have any problems with the stitching.
I used to wear Carter's onesies. Walmart shirts. They observe their target Ultron. It's just hard to find a girl's shirt and I prefer it. to get all my ideas from the same place, so I go ahead and use them in our deep links. Let me tell you, I have almost no problem with them. The first links I use have problems with the thread gathering when pulling the shirt in. I don't have any problems with these. I'm not sponsored so I wasn't there so I use RB Blanks. It's 550 for the girls. They share their humidity with 525 plus shipping.
You don't need a tax ID, which is the best part. if anyone could buy them you don't it's easy they ship very fast your priority mail so like I said another problem I love these shirts as an alternative if you don't want to spend the 550 on the shirt you're just getting started. I can consider the children's grrranimals from Walmart. Girls' shirts are very hard to find, there is only one other place I know that has acceptable girls' shirts: Hobby Lobby. I've been using them for a few years. I haven't worn them since because I like to get all my shirts. from the same place, so the ARB blanks are where the next very important element is the stabilizer.
I use the cutaway, although this one says cutaway. I accidentally bought the cutaway by accident. I haven't even used it, so I'm saving it in case I need it. as an emergency, but it's cut and I use this new broom thread to rip out the stabilizer. Now with the tablet stabilizer, it almost only works with ARB blanks because they are so thick and high quality that you have no issues with thread. getting ahead now if you're going to make a card like 1z these won't work very well with Carter's if you use the tear out there at least double it if you're embroidering on Carter's onesies it's better to use the cut stabilizer more De anyway, embroidery always says that if you use it, don't tear it, i.e. don't use cut potato as a stabilizer, but I myself find that I love the new brother thread stabilizer, only in combination with the ARB blanks , it doesn't work well with almost any other type of shirt because other shirts make them and even so thick that the tear works amazing and I also like that you can't see what I like tell me why I don't like the charm you can see the stabilizer from the front and it just looks blocky.
I do not like that. I like my design to look clean and fresh and amazing, so I like the cut and like I said with ARB, you don't see it. The next item is when I get many. questions about what vinyl is. I like to use heat transfer vinyl for my boats. Some I didn't know I could use it until I went to a show and realized that yes you can use glitter heat transfer vinyl on your shirt so I've been using it since I like glitter it's so much more bright, looks much better and is easy to embroider with lots of reverter.
It's like the Micro World vinyl, so I'll link to that in the description as well. It's the mirror shine of Micro World. vinyl I think if I'm wrong like I said I'll put the correct link in the description people want additional effects of glitter and I think it's nice for a shirt to stand out a little more. Oh my god, that was Riley again. If you don't know, I have a three year old Tyler named Riley and I am currently 37 weeks pregnant. Baby, so yeah, it's hard to shoot videos with her, especially videos like this. I was trying to tie her up and put up the projector screen so she could see something, hopefully, because if she listens, then I'll talk to you.
I'm legitimately going to walk in here and grab the camera, so let me hurry up and finish the last and one of the most important things: I couldn't do my job without the mighty hoop. Oh, do you mind if I use the 8 by 9 mighty loop? I think I was saying if I ate all the time, but it's an 8 by 9 mighty hoop. This is the most important thing I need in this entire embroidery room because the hoops that They come with these machines they are 8 by 8. they do not fit t-shirts they do not fit three t-shirts they fit 14 and up but I make a lot of 2 T 3 T so I use them for 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 8 10 12 I love these hoops, they make it so much easier to play with the hoop and there are no problems, it eliminates hoop burn for the most part, sometimes yes, it still happens but it's so much better, it's so much more easy, these things literally saved my life, they just don't work with my one needle, but they do with my six needles, so with my one needle I can still make four teeth with Blasi Blasi, but these are necessary.
I'll put the link to these in the description. I think so. I think it's called masters without these I couldn't even work they are magnetic for those who don't know my loops are magnetic with these you have to be careful to keep them away from the computers that work properly in front of me, but I'm far enough away, the electronics from the human computer, if you have a pacemaker, it even tells you, don't even use them, replace me because I'm Nik and I guess it will turn off your pacemaker. oh please don't buy them if you have a pacemaker, you should also be careful not to pinch your fingers.
Now I'm scared because I think I put my thing between them, so now I'm screwed, guys, well that's the magnet, but they're very strong. but like I said, it makes framing much easier so I would buy them. I think they're 250. I couldn't go wrong, between 150 and 250 dollars, depending on what size you choose, and they just make framing so much easier and I can. to make larger designs and I know a lot of people ask me what size my designs are and I usually make them like seven by seven so they fit inside the hoop, sometimes you can make them like seven by seven and a half but I love these because I also know exactly your space because in the other hoops, here are the hoops that come with my machine, as you see, they are much wider, but this one is eight by eight inside seven eight seven and seven eighths by seven and seven eighths inside , this is eight. at eight and you know it's cheating on you because there's extra room here so you have to have such a big fit on the shirt versus just this so oh it's good it's a lot wider so it stretches more shirts. why i like mighty hootsstraight square straight easy it's easy to set up your designs using this so this is the most recommended product I have I would buy a no I'm not sponsored you know they'll probably never sponsor me I only have two thousand subscribers Guys soon maybe if I reach a hundred thousand Ok separately um but I love my power hoops and a lot of people ask me what hoops are size 8 by 9, 8 by 9 power so those are the things that I look for the most in my embroidery room.
If you have any more questions, go ahead and leave them, leave them below, maybe I'll do a part 2 if you have enough questions or if you want follow-up items that I use more after this or maybe for vinyl, not just. for embroidery or just in general I'll be more than happy to do a part 2 just go ahead and leave it in the comments go ahead and leave any questions you have in the comments and be sure to subscribe to my channel you post on your vacation which is the little bell button next to subscribe so you do when I upload new videos and content.
I try to upload probably twice a week. a live attempt once a week where not only will you see them work and you don't have to ask any questions and I can answer them right then and there. I won't make a video of an embroidery machine because you guys really want to know. about my machines, it's hard to make a video of the machine because I'm not working all the time and you won't be able to hear me and as you know I'm 37 weeks pregnant so I need to ship my orders now earlier. the baby gets here so I have time to relax, so after the baby gets here, you know, that's probably when I'll do an embroidery machine video, so that's it for today's video.
Thank you so much for watching and I'll see you in my The next video, which will probably be me because I'm not the recorder right now, is answering my questions. They left me on my community tab when I asked them to leave me some questions they would like answered, so let me go. do that and I'll see you in my next video bye
