I like the white color as is. I just took the handles off my container and then I'm going to grab one. of these around unfinished wooden balls from Hobby Lobby you can use anything, you can use a marble, any beads you have on hand, something from Dollar Tree and it's very easy, just apply a little hot glue and add it to the part top, that's all there is to this DIY. part of this project, but I'll show you the two ways I designed it, option one. I'll be using this wooden lattice charger from heirloom home

decor

and this beautiful eucalyptus or lamb's ear.

I think they are wreaths from Hobby Lobby. I'm going to put the bell right on top and then decided to add a Dollar Tree candle. I love the simplicity of this and it's something I would keep in my house all year round. I can see the next option, it could definitely be more. For an Easter look, I'm using this wooden riser that I bought a couple years ago when the Magnolia line first appeared at Target and I'm going to use some of this Scattered Egg Greenery Filler from Hobby Lobby. I got this for 50% I take it off and all I do is just take this really nice filler, put it on the wood riser and put our clothes on top using the Dollar Tree bin.

Too easy. I love how neutral it is and like I said, it's great for Easter. and really all spring season, Dollar Tree DIY number two is going to be this modern

farmhouse

faith sign using a Dollar Tree canvas. For this project, you will need an 8 by 10 canvas from Dollar Tree or any size canvas that you already have in your stash or that you want for this project. I am going to use the Dollar Tree sign stickers and press them down slightly. I'm going to spell the words faith. I don't want the letters to be black. I want them to be white since we will be painting on this canvas.

I thought it would be cool to use them almost as a stencil, so placing them on the canvas and painting over them will give me that effect when using folk art chalk and sage paint. surprise surprise I've been obsessed with this color lately. I'm probably late to the game. I'm sure you're watching this and you're like Nicole. I've known this color forever, but I don't know. maybe I'm late but I love it so that's what I'm going to do and as always my projects are meant to inspire me so if you don't like a color or you don't like a certain fun or something like that, always you can customize it to your

decor

ating preference, but since I actually decorate with a lot of the decorating that I do, I do it in my own style and like I said, you're literally going to paint right.
About these sticky posters, these don't stick best to the canvas, so make sure when you paint on them you're careful that they don't move and you'll want to make sure they're completely dry before you pick them up. and since I forgot, here's your friendly reminder to paint your canvas size that way, everything looks cohesive and you don't have this pretty color on the front and then the weird awkward white sides of the bare canvas on the side, like this that once everything is dry. I'm going to carefully remove the stickers from the sign, revealing the white font instead of the black one.
I applied a light coat of paint, if I don't mind, it looks a little worn or something. I don't know, it's not perfect, so that's what I chose if you want more opaque than of course do two coats, so in this random jar of wooden beads that I have, I'm going to use these Dollar Tree, no, no, Dollar Tree. I'm so used to saying I'm going to use these wooden beads from Hobby Lobby that don't have a hole in them so they're perfect for decor pieces like this. I'm just going to hot glue a line on the top and hot glue a line on the bottom align them.
The reason you see the Dollar Tree as creating square wooden beads is because I was debating doing this with the square, but I just didn't like it, so let me know in the comments, what would you have done? I chose the rounded shape or made a square. I chose the rounded shape. I just liked it better and had enough to cross over, so I'm using this jute ribbon I bought in a seam or spare space. a couple of weeks ago and I love it. I'm sure again, if you're not new, you've seen a lot of sage, you've seen a lot of these wooden beads, the ribbon, I'm just hot gluing it to the bottom. and the top I thought complemented the wooden beads and I really like how simple it is, but it definitely has that modern farmhouse look that I love so much, give me every time you call on the phone, you're ready to be my hello

tree

.
DIY number three is This textured wall decor piece is also farmhouse modern, but it's a fun way to upgrade a Dollar Tree picture frame and add some nice texture to a gallery wall or office decor. your home in general, moving right on to this really textured sign. I was inspired by this. I visited the Hobby Lobby website and knew I had things in my craft room that I could replicate pretty close, so again I'm going back to my handy dandy wooden bead jar. I will be using Dollar Tree and some nautical rope as well as some jute ribbon, two different types that I have in my stash, this is a great project to really improvise, use whatever ribbon cord you may or may not have in your craft stash and whatever I'm using as the base for this a piece of basswood, like scrap wood, that came in an assortment package from Hobby Lobby.
I think I bought it for about six or seven

dollar

s. Comes with a lot of different basswood pieces. It comes in strips, which is great for outlining signs. I mean, honestly, you can use anything for this, a small picture, a piece of foam board, whatever you have, so this is so simple that there's no real technique, rhyme or reason to this, you'll just want to go ahead and cut your rope. ribbon to size, measure it according to whatever the base is and with whatever type of pattern you feel, you are simply going to hot glue the ribbon and the rope and bead mixture all the way to whatever you choose as a base piece.
Like I said, I'm using a piece of basswood I had in my stash. I'm using different sizes of wooden beads and just playing around with the pattern, not really having an exact method for this, I also made sure to turn the scrap piece of wood over and just trimmed any ribbon that might have been poking, not clicking, we've been longer than the piece of scrap wood, there we go and then it's really easy to apply this. I grabbed some hot glue and then grabbed a frame from Dollar Tree. that already had scrapbook paper from a hobby lobby the overlapping print this was from an oh my god i don't know project months ago when i first started my channel i stuck it in there and that's it.
I love that I was able to get a duplicate Hobby Lobby version of this using everything I already had in my craft room and I love how it turned out. I actually like it better than the original and I have it here in the middle of a large modern bohemian farmhouse wall hanging. which I made using rugs from Dollar Tree which I can also link below in the description box in case you are interested in your number four DIY

tree

, we will take some scrap wood and add some wooden plaques and baskets from Dollar Tree to create this really fun.
Farmhouse Floral Arrangement we're going to use a piece of scrap wood and supplies from Dollar Tree to make this really pretty vintage farmhouse type of planter so the first thing you're going to need is a piece of scrap wood this is what I had on hand and I'm using two of these white containers from Dollar Tree, they come in a variety of sizes, this is the smallest of the sizes they have. I will mix antique Waverly wax and folk arts chalk paint and Parisian gray. I love mixing these two together, it really gets a nice muddy gray color and I'm going to paint this piece, one good coat is all you need for this and again, I love the mix of these two colors.
Also, this is a friendly reminder, don't forget to paint. the size of your I forget to do this all the time, so make sure all four sides are painted. I didn't worry about the back because no one will see it and before I continue with the rest of the project, this video is part of it. from the DIY Open Challenge, which is DIY Spring Decor hosted by Heidi Samba at Happily Prosperous Heidi. I'll have their channel, as well as the playlist for this challenge open, in the description box so when you're done watching here you can see what everyone else has come up with I love making spring crafts and can't wait to see what everyone did.
LR's waste wood is drying out. I'm taking this wooden plaque from Dollar Tree and some of this white folk art chalk paint and I'm just going to paint the front of the wooden plaque with white. We will outline the rest in black. Let me know in the comments if you found these wooden plaques. This was at a Dollar Tree that had a craft section but I've seen them at some of the

dollar

trees that don't and they are so cute and there are so many different possibilities for projects so originally to outline I was going to use my prismacolor and black paint pencil, but it just didn't happen that way. doing the work on the parts of the wood that were like, I don't know, not smooth, really fun, this Apple Barrel black acrylic paint from Walmart and one of my paint sponges and I'm going to outline the rest. of the plate with the black I love the black and white, it has such a classic look and I thought it would look good with the grayish color.
We painted the piece of wood and then applied a decal that I cut from another decal I made for a previous project. I love it, it's vintage, it's in the Wild West font from dafont.com and can be used as a stencil or freehand, but I thought the decal would look nice now I'm also going to use my Cricut for the scrap wood part. of this project, but I have a free printable in the description box below with comparable fun in case you don't have a Cricut and want to replicate this project, so I'll just apply this on top of the project I decided to go for the white only to stand out again against that muddy gray color in which the remains of wood are found.
They have been loving the food scraper and mini chopper from Dollar Tree for transferring my vinyl and in case you are interested, the fresh and market is in the Wild West font and the cursive is in babette from the Cricut design space , it's the fun part of putting the planter together, so I'm going to look at where I want to drive my first nail to hold the wire basket, these wire baskets, like I said, come in a variety of sizes, the Dollar Tree, I chose the most small to fit on my scrap wood and I'll do it pretty simply, just use a hammer, nail by mail, drive the nail. and that holds the perfect wire basket.
I'm going to use hot glue, you can use wood glue if you want, but hot glue is fine. The old plate and I'm going to put it right in the middle of my two wire planters or containers and I'm going to Repeat the same thing I did for the top pin again, noting the space for the bottom basket. They really like how this project turned out since I already had most of the supplies. It only cost me $3 worth of one dollar tree supplies and I already had this. Shit, put the vinyl on hand, this is great for spring, you can transition to all year round and just change the flowers, some kind of chill, bring back the iy number five, it will be a single tier tray project, we will use this.
Dollar Tree sign, any sign will do and this really pretty scrapbook paper from Hobby Lobby, so I'm going to sand it with a Dollar Tree sponge to remove the grit and sparkles in the image so it doesn't look bumpy with scrap B. paper on top really simple, you've seen me do this and many of my projects. I love scrapbooking paper. No surprise if you're not new here, just trace the scrapbook paper and cut it out, although like this sign it's like a little more of an intricate shape I think this is called a quatrefoil. I don't know, let me know in the comments if you know what shape it is, just be careful when cutting it.
I almost like going to Cesare happy and destroyed. the shape, so take your time and cut it out now. I normally use Mod Podge, but I ran out of it, so I've been using some mod podge.Elmer and I have been painting with a foam brush, not painting, but smoothing, with the glue. a foam brush and honestly, I like it just as much, if not better. I think Elmer's glue is a little more forgiving but it's a personal preference so once I paint I still see paint but once I use the foam brush to disperse all the glue.
I'm just going to put my scrap paper on top to smooth out the bubbles for the second hand or in my case the gifted as part of this project. I'm going to use this as a decorative box that my mom gave me. I used to have our TV. remote controls, but it's too pretty to waste on TV remotes, so adding a little bit of hot glue, not too much, just on the edge of this box, I'm going to line it with glue and place the image right on top to make a nice like a decorative tray with legs and I love that I made this using a Dollar Tree picture and I just don't know I like it super cute and it's super easy if I could hear my dad's voice he would tell me a little Dollar Tree Bonus DIY.
I'll show you how I took this greenery from Dollar Tree and mixed it with a thrift item for a really nice, budget-friendly look. Hey, mom actually gave me this. She had him forever. I was a little bored and knew she would reuse it and that's what I did. so taking this folk art chalk paint in parisian gray, I'm going to do a dry brush type mix, but it doesn't have much texture, so I added a little bit of paint. I know it looks very stained there. I promise I'll smooth it out. I'm just going to add a little bit of paint and dip my brush minimally so I really want the paint to cling to the texture and fall where it can so I was going for a worn look and since this piece has a lot like grooves and texture I just It gives it a natural worn look just by adding the paint on top and I did the same for the parchment.
I really liked this gray color instead of white. I feel like it was shiny but still complemented the warmth that could still be seen underneath and yes I really love this piece, it's super pretty and I only liked one coat of paint on this. I really wanted a little bit of the original color to pop out like that green and it almost looks patina and I think the gray really complements it so for the Dollar Tree element of this project I grabbed two of these leaf garlands. I ended up only using one and I wanted to put that kind of wreath on top of this scroll, it just gives it a really fresh spring look, but honestly, I plan on leaving this piece out all year long and you'll see from this video that I really like using flowers lately and greenery from Dollar Tree and display them in ways other than just putting them up. them in Oz, so I thought this was a fun way to use some Dollar Tree greenery.
Our DIY number six tree will give one of the mirrors around the Dollar Tree a really nice and easy update. I'll show you how to grab one of these basics. around the mirrors, pair it with a thrift item and really give it a little more oomph, so my mom gave this to me as a locket piece. I guess you can call it like. I just don't like the color, so I took the Adirondack white from the folk art chalk. paint and a chip brush from Dollar Tree that I love for dry brushing. I'm doing just that simple dry brushing layer with some brass still showing through and then grabbing the mirror from Dollar Tree that I actually used for a project. a long time ago, but I did it in my compilation video, which I can link below, just with a dry brush, plus having a little bit of the brown color that I previously painted and then applying this correctly: the medallion piece with a little bit of hot glue, that's it for this project, so I love how this came out in real life.
This is my super messy dining room, but I love it. I love that I can take a mirror from Dollar Tree that maybe just wasn't the size I wanted, layer it with a piece I already had in my house, just get a really affordable, custom home decor look with a Dollar Tree mirror , a favor. Dollar Tree DIY number seven will be a wall hanging tapestry using a Dollar Tree. plunger the wooden dowel part I love sterling tapestries. I could probably make a whole video of all the wall hangings I've made and the ones I still have

ideas

for, so I hope you like this one.
The star of Maine is a plunger and let's go. To use the wooden part acts as a peg, so let's make a tapestry to hang on the wall. I am using three different types of thread. I had this on hand, just a basic worsted yarn, which is this pink, thicker and then a cotton, so to even out the strands, I take a piece of cardboard and I wrap it ten times with color number one and then I cut the bottom and then I fold them in half so you have six of color number one like for color number two, this will be our longest tassel, you wrap it once instead of cutting it at the bottom, you see me here, the you wrap twice you actually cut it at the bottom and then you fold it in half with the longer piece and then for the cotton thread I did the same thing that I did for thread number one so this is thread number three , although I wrapped it 25 times just to get a little thicker volume with that thread I cut the bottom while it was on the cardboard, I cut all the threads at the bottom and they are folded in half and this is what the thread looks like once everything is cut, so now it's time to wrap the art dollar tree plunger wood piece, so I'm going to start with the one that will be the longest of the strands. which is the thickest thread.
I'm simply winding around the wood. If you see here, I couldn't remove the sticker, but that's okay because the thread covers it, so this is what it looks like with our centerpiece. I love the texture. This is a little thicker and what I decided to do with the cotton thread was take the 25 pieces and loop them into a knot, this just gives it a little volume and has a difference with the longer piece of thread and then for the pink I did it in groups of five, so I hope that makes sense. I could put in the description box below a better explanation of that in case you're the kind of person who needs to read it to understand it, but I'm just giving The thread was an embellishment I looked at it again keeping that piece of thread or section longer centerpiece, so I found these amazing wooden beads at Hobby Lobby.
They had different shapes and I thought they definitely gave it that bohemian style, so taking the cotton thread. I simply nodded on one side of the Dollar Tree wooden piece of the plunger and then simply alternated the beads again. I chose a different way. I left it unfinished. It's a totally personal preference. You can use Dollar Tree beads that are different colors depending on. What color thread do you have, you can dye these beads but I thought they looked great unfinished and once I was done stringing the beads I simply tied a knot and wrapped it around the front of our wooden dowel and I loved how it turned out this super bohemian country house. modern farmhouse and I love that I can use something like a Dollar Tree plunger to get a nice piece of sturdy wood.
I've seen a few other YouTubers make these wall hangings, so I wanted to make my own variation. laughter and stolen time why it's going to be even cheaper than a DIY dollar tree because we'll be recycling an oatmeal container yes, you heard me right, our next project once again inspired us on the Kirklands website. I loved this sconce that was $49.99 and I thought there's no way I'm paying that, plus I can't go out to the store anyway, so I decided, since the sconce was a little curved, to use this oatmeal container from Aldi and this thing was actually very sturdy, it took me like I had a hard time cutting it in half, but I just cut the cardboard in half.
I kept the curve because I needed it for the sconce and then I realized the bottom was a great place to use as a shelf for a candle, so I just trimmed it to size. I got these decals. These peel and stick stickers from Target Dollar Spot months ago. You'll see when I finish my laundry room. I'm almost there, guys. This is what this is what we're going. I used it for the backsplash and I thought they would look good against this, they are clear so you can see the background but I actually liked it against the cardboard look, you could paint it all over but I mean this is like a DIY very cheap for me, so I left it in now to give more stability to our fake shelf, which is the bottom of the oatmeal container.
I just took some craft sticks, cut them to size, and then hot glued them together, first horizontally and then in shorter pieces. vertically just to give this faux shelf the ability to act just like that for a candle. Also, if you like trash to treasures, I'll link below some recent videos I made with some cycles and upcycle items into decor in case you're interested in knowing that's how it turned out. The shelf really works perfect. I decided to put some succulent into this and have this on my dining room server. You could definitely put it as something to hang on the wall, but I mean for an oatmeal container there's nothing better and technically if you want you can get two sides of the oatmeal container once you cut it in half so you can have a pair of sconces, even another number nine DIY tree will be this plate.
Next Dollar Tree DIY towel hook that we will use on the bamboo cutting boards. I know they're hard to find, you might not have them in your craft stash, but here are some other Dollar Tree options you can use or honestly, any picture or sign you have on hand will work just fine, so just I'm taking my ruler and marking an inch and a half on each side of the top and bottom and then I apply some painter's tape over those lines, going more towards the middle, we'll be painting. the top and bottom look, I was wrong there, you want to make it so it's more in the middle, above the mark, we'll paint with folk arts chalk paint and sage.
I love this color for spring and honestly all year round. I ended up giving these two coats of chalk paint just to completely cover the bamboo cutting board and let me know in the comments if you like this color as much as I do, I'm really trying to stop always using the same colors and I. I'm really enjoying this so once the paint is dry I just carefully peeled off the painter's tape and then I had this. This was a decorative hook that I bought months ago at Hobby Lobby on clearance. I thought it would be great for holding a tea towel. so to secure the hook we are using Dollar Tree super gel which comes in a two pack and I just apply a generous amount to the back of the hook and then press it down and let it dry.
I would let it dry for like a full day before hanging anything on it now I wanted to add another element of texture to this. I always like to do that with my projects. I recently found this Jewish ribbon from the AC Moore clearance sale a couple of weeks ago, so I simply measured what I needed for the top and bottom and applied it with a little hot glue so it wouldn't leak through where the jute is open and then I cut it to size. I have this next to my refrigerator. I have it to hang a kitchen towel.
I love the modern farmhouse style, it has a bit of a bohemian feel to it and is a great way to upcycle a bamboo cutting board or a Dollar Tree sign or whatever you already have on hand. Our latest dollar tree DIY, this will be a textured version of one of the dollar tree glass jars and make it a more farmhouse-like home decor piece. I'll grab these textured days from Dollar Tree. I like that it's a little bigger than some of the glass jars, you can get a Dollar Tree again, anything you have in your craft room is fine, even a recycled pasta sauce jar, I mean I've used a bunch of those and in my projects, anything you have, any glass jar, just like this one because it was textured, I gave it two coats of folk arts white Adirondack and I originally filmed this for a completely different video and I wanted to have the neck of This in that pewter chalk painting, what is art?
Chalk paint by me. from Michael, there we go, I just didn't like it very much and then I decided to go back over that and dry brush it with the white and then let me know this happens to you like I'm doing this like what. What am I doing? I don't like it I didn't like it at all It was just coming out sloppy and not the way I wanted. So the old Jew from Walmart came to the rescue. I just took my hot glue gun and just wrapped. the ruined neck of this jar I ruined with some jute and I actually like this one better.
I love thejute. I love the texture. I say it like in all my videos, but it's what I like in my decor, so that's what I added to this dollar. Glass phase of the tree and I just cut it out and made sure to secure it with more hot glue and then I had this buckle forever in my craft room. It's from Hobby Lobby. I thought this would add a nice extra element. I liked. It was Browns, it was a pop of a different color against the white and I just hot glued it to the front like I said.
I used a glass phase from Dollar Tree. You can use a recycled one, whatever you have, but this is super simple. I like this. As for a flower arrangement, you can even use it in your craft room to hold pens or whatever and yeah, super simple and I was able to save it somehow from what I was trying to do in the neck of this glass jar there. you already have it. I hope you enjoyed this part 2 of the top 10 Dollar Tree DIYs on a farm. I will link part 1 in the description box below, as well as the original videos, of these 10 Farmhouse DIYs, so I hope you like this compilation style video.
I have more new DIY projects for you next week, so be sure to stay tuned for those. I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy and safe, and I'll see you next time, bye.
