What's up guys? My name is Jessica Zam and welcome back to another Escape from Tarkov video. In this video, we'll delve into some

tips

for

solo

players

and

escape

from Tarkov in a game that definitely rewards team and duo play. You definitely can do it. It creates some awesome moments as a

solo

player and you definitely get some perks too, so let's dive into that. I do an Escape from Tarkov stream a few days a week and all my links will be below with all that out of Let's go ahead and dive right in so the first tip is to know your team and that seems obvious but as a player In solo there are some things you can choose to do that will really take advantage of a solo player, so for example suppressors, in my opinion, using a suppressor on your weapon becomes incredibly more valuable as a solo player, it will give you more opportunities to take out scavs or PMC without the other

players

who are a little further away on the map knowing, especially if you come across a squad and maybe you can take out some of them before they realize where you are and then you're in a much better situation to maybe finish that fight if you've been playing for a while.

You can definitely tell the difference between I just heard a bullet hit next to me and I have no idea where it came from or if you're in the woods and you can hear SBD sermons from anywhere on the map and that can show you. how much difference can that make and also on your optics so if I'm playing solo a lot of times I'll bring maybe like a Valdai one long distance, medium to long and short, short distance, it is really very useful. You can also practice your spot-shooting skills to get those close-range encounters, but giving you the flexibility to participate at both levels. because again, one of those strengths as a solo player is being able to take out a squad or take out some scabs from a distance and give yourself time if you get rushed or something, so choosing your team and that win translates all the way up to the armor, you may want to choose a specific armor over another because there is less turn speed reduction, less movement and resistance reduction, being a little more mobile, you know that everything will end up being how you want.

Play the game, but be sure to think about the gear you're bringing and whether it contributes and serves the purposes of your raid and adds to those perks you inherently gain. The second has a solo player. The advice is to really know your strengths and weaknesses, know what those advantages are, so we talk about it a little bit, but when it comes up, especially if your goal is PvP as a solo player, before you jump in, think about what my strengths are in this. fight a squad when they start hearing things that break communications they are going crazy where did they shoot you? it was that one of you shot it was that you from there it is that you from there don't have any You don't have to worry about any of that, every person you see you can kill as a solo player and you can use that to your advantage, like this which throws random nades and directions to confuse squads or maybe you don't get involved right away, getting a really good angle and getting one. or two, a touch and maybe cutting a squad in half, confusing them just before they know what's going on, repositioning is one of those things that will always work in your favor.

I've seen lonely people who can convince a squad that there are more. of one because they will take shots and immediately reposition themselves and get a better angle, they will take more shots once again, the squad is confused and you can use that to your advantage, it also protects you from those firing squad moments, it rarely works. when you turn a corner or go up a hill and see some guys so you can take them all out, that firing squad will almost always get you, even if you make an incredible play and drop three of a 4-man. and that room gets you, you don't get any of that loot, so maybe removing the hardcover, repositioning it, throwing a nade, doing anything to get out of that engagement and one on one fights, whittle them down, will lead to Survive those more before having a new engagement, especially a PvP one, if you have the opportunity to take that time and think about what my strengths are in this engagement and how I can use them to survive this raid.

The third tip is to learn the audio cues. and the maps, so

escape

from

has phenomenal audio. The developers are of course always working on positional audio and vertical sound, but the different actual sounds in the game are amazing. You can learn the weapons by their audio, which I've seen a lot. a lot of people do that can be very helpful and then also learning the types of sounds, there are different sounds for walking and running and crawling slowly over wood, metal, glass, concrete, grass, glass, breaking, you can use all of those things to position one person, a great example of This is watching some of the players who are really good at the factory, they can just turn their head and use their hearing and then what sounds are happening, they can position themselves exactly where someone is and maybe flank them or drop it. them, so if you're in exchange and you hear glass breaking or you hear someone walking on glass creaking, you can say oh, I know exactly where that glass is or I know exactly where that metal is.
I actually can't tell you how many times I've been on a raid and said where's their metal over here or where's their glass over here like I'm hearing these things and I can feel them. I know this should give me an advantage. I know I should be able to position where they are and I still can't, so you can use offline raids or this just comes over time, but always make mental notes of where that metal was or if you run into metal and you can say hello, It's OK now. I know this involves learning those things, of course, that will take time, but over time, as a solo artist, you can use it to your advantage because, again, the whole sound is just your sound, you never have to worry. in metal or well, that was that you there in glass can always use all the information they give you to your advantage.
The next tip is to bring money for alternative outings, so if you have a wallet, briefcase or briefcase. case or even just a spare slot in your safe container that brings maybe ten thousand rubles which in the scheme of things is not a lot of money and you just keep it there for some of these alternative outlets so we know that customs, exchange and the forests all have the car that you can pay a little peso to and drive that car and extract it there. You can use it to your advantage as often as a solo player by getting to those draws if you're really hurt or trying to do it. leave a squad behind or if you're just trying to reposition yourself and do something, you can use those extractions to get out of your raids in a way that people don't expect or in a way that can be awesome, it can be much more convenient for you. very close to those like customs dorms comes to mind if you get into a big fight with scav bus or PvP or both and you're suffering and you have a lot of loot and you don't.
I want to risk running to the other side of the map so often that the car is there, you can get out, pay the rubles, stay in the bushes there and then get out, so that's something I figured out, it's not a huge upfront cost, it's a kind of set. and forget it, just leave it there and when it comes in handy, it really will come in handy. The next tip is that night raids can be really valuable. It has a solo player for a few reasons. It's there most of the time. populated and two, you can continue to use those buffs to help you, it's easier to stay silent, it's easier to stay out of sight, especially if you're suppressed, so if you're having trouble doing some quests, especially if you're trying to do a quest a little later in the cleanup, nvgs are much cheaper than people think they are, you know, for 30 or 40 thousand rubles you can get some night vision goggles and go on a raid and do it at your own pace, Slower.
As fast as you want to do it and in my experience your survival rate will definitely skyrocket. You'll be able to place those quest items or those markers or whatever, and that can really help you. You know, raise your level if that's what you want. you're trying to do and then the final tip is to know when to attack a third party, so this is another strength that you have as a solo player, being able to maneuver into fights very, very quickly if you hear a fight and that's close to you and You can get into a position where you might see what's happening if you play your cards right.
You can engage someone while they are fighting someone else, and you can defeat an enemy without the other person knowing you were there. or you can wait until the fight is over and then clean it up. You already have your eyes on the person. You kill her while she's looting or something and then you can move forward and collect the loot as a solo player. that maneuverability knowing that you are making your decisions you are not managing them a teammate you are not doing anything and you can go straight to a fight wait your moment and then attack so that's it those are my
