, so last night we stayed in this fantastic little airbnb here in Stavanger, but this morning we leave and head to the mountains to stay in a super unique place. It's a little hard to describe, but it's like this

of little mountain cabins, come on, so one of the reasons I was so excited to book this place because it was going to require taking a ferry like two hours out to the fjords. .

We were going to experience the fjords and then we could walk from there. However, yesterday we went to book the ferry and found out that it only runs until mid-September and it is currently October so plan b we rent this car and we are going to drive to the trailhead but first we have to stock up on some food . Okay, we'll be at the trailhead in an hour and forty minutes. So we were following Google Maps and suddenly she said that in 100 meters we take the ferry, the road ends at the water. I think we have about 10 minutes until we reach the other side.

This place is absolutely amazing. Normally when you go to Mountain Hud, it's like a hostel setting where you share a big room and bunk beds with a bunch of other strangers, but here they have six

houses and you can book one and have it all to yourself right in the middle of the absolutely Stunning Norwegian nature. Come on, oh, I'm so happy right now. Honestly, it's better than it looked.

These are so cute no way. No way, this is too good, look at that view here, it's amazing, I'm amazed at how big what is up here is, oh wow, this can fit so many people. No way, a sheet, oh that's just a mattress that we have like an eggshell and then we like it. a mattress six inches thick. I wish we could have friends here and have a party. Look at this amazing. The best thing about these cabins is that they are called self-service cabins and they are completely based on trust, so they only depend on people.

Being good humans there is no one to watch this place, they are unlocked all the time and you are in charge of leaving it better than you found it and our place was super clean like they swept and folded the blankets, but they don't show too much. near the sheets, I feel like this is how it should be, it's a reminder that people are mostly good, it just seems like something like this would be overused, yeah, because you're supposed to book it in advance, we could easily I didn't pay for this and I just showed up and stayed the night here and no one would have known. 140 down the drain.

I'm glad I paid for it, so normally I'd like to tour the room, but there really isn't much to this room. It's just a cube with some beds, but we couldn't find much information about this place online, so I wanted to point out two things we didn't know we'd have. or wash your hands oh it's hot in here so this is like the common area where everyone can hang out I'm pretty sure anyone can come here during the day and I use this space that has like sofas, tables, chairs and this is like a kitchen complete with a gas stove.

We didn't know what we were going to have to cook with tonight, so we bought ramen noodles, which I love this place it's really cute, although much better than I thought it was going to be, yeah, really cool, there's a corkscrew and glasses of came and we could have had a party here and I think people might be so there's a chance I've been screaming and there are rooms right here oh no that's the common area we're getting out of here. Okay, we can see the bedroom windows. I don't think there was anyone there. There is one more building and I think we may have saved the best for last, this is what finally made me pull the trigger on booking this place.

I mean, it's not easy to get here. We had to rent a car, drive an hour and a half out of town and then walk two hours here, but this is worth it, can you feel the heat? There is no way there is a

in the middle of the mountains look at this view. Wow, someone already lit the fire for us. It's nice and warm. This is

. We didn't know this was here, so we came. prepared for whoever started this fire before you left, thank you, we will try to keep it lit when we leave.

I'm still amazed that this works, yes, that people come here who use it correctly, it's kept in good condition, there's something about the people. those who like the

I love that saunas exist here, it's a beautiful thing, oh it's so hot, I'm standing here with no pants on and I'm not even cold, is there a better way to relax after a walk? No I dont think so.

I also hope this towel doesn't fall between here and our cabin because I may or may not have pants on, this is the situation. Dinner, okay, we're about to call it a night and go to bed, but before we do I feel like everything we've said about this place so far has been very romantic, but it's not that dreamy. We found out that they changed the sheets. in these cabins once a year they seem relatively clean once a year maybe I should get up anyway the store was conveniently selling 40 sleeping bag covers which we invested in and you just wrap yourself in them like a cocoon and then don't touch the dirty sheets, ideally the sheets aren't dirty because everyone uses one of these, I think it's slime, oh look this goes on your pillow and then you slide over here like this, oh super easy, here we go, you'll never have to touch any .
