My favorite character from the Dark Crystal universe, Raunip, son of Aughra. Okay, I know I just finished the movie, but let me talk about the prequel comics for a minute. Forget Aughra, the old woman? Well, it turns out that she is an immortal being and she has existed since the creation of this world. She is fine. And one day a meteor hits the planet and she, like anyone else would do, brings it to life and Raunip appears.

And he actually he's the main character of the prequel books and he's also technically an alien. I love him because he's the only one who asks what's going on. He asks the same questions I've been asked. He is my favorite, he is the only character I always wanted to cosplay. If they ever make the prequels into a movie, I ask them to play Raunip.
