The Movie That Was Too Scary for Baby James

May 29, 2021
told him what to do after getting the fragment. She tells Kira about the search for her and what Aughra told her. JEN: Do you know the three suns in the sky? They will meet soon. It's called the Great... The Great something or other. Look, even Jen can't remember these advertising names. It would have really been helpful if you had told him this information when you were sharing memories. Then the crab monsters show up and basically murder and capture Kira's entire family, yeah, it was pretty traumatizing. And just as the crab monsters were about to attack Jen and Kira, Chamberlain appears out of nowhere, remember that "MMMmmmm" guy?

CHAMBERLAIN: mmmmmmmmmmmm He gets between them and stops the attack and Kira and Jen escape because Chamberlain saved them. Oh, and then Jen throws the fragment away. TREE! Next day. Kira finds the fragment that Jen threw and they both find some hieroglyphs about the prediction. She says that a Gelfling will save the world and kill all the Skeksis, it doesn't matter, and then- OH! Chamberlain appears. Hey, chamberlain! JAMES: “Hey guys, I'm sorry we killed your entire species, we just don't want the prophecy to come true. You understand, right? "So what if we all go to the castle together, we can eat something and just have a good time and talk about how this is all over, guess what?" And then she says “please” a lot.

More Interesting Facts About,

CHAMBERLAN: Please? CHAMBERLAN: Please? Please? CHAMBERLAN: Please? Please? Please? CHAMBERLAN: Please? Please? Please? Please. CHAMBERLAN: Please? Please? Please? Please. Please. CHAMBERLAN: Please? Please? Please? Please. Please. Yes. CHAMBERLAN: Please? Please? Please? Please. Please. Yes please? Now how can you say no to this sweet boy? He just got kicked out of the Skeksis club, he's alone, he just saved you from some crab monsters and said "here" a lot. I'm just saying that if I were Jen, I would have totally trusted Chamberlain 100 percent. But instead, Jen just stares at him blankly and then Kira analyzes everything and tells Jen not to trust him, and then they walk away.

CHAMBERLAN: WAIT! MAKE PEACE! Hey, it might have been the right decision. Then, for some reason, Kira knows where the castle is and, since she can talk to animals, she calls them "land striders." KIRA: BBBBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR (They're just a person walking on four poles). And they ride rural stilts to the castle. I have a lot of problems with the following scene. Then one of the Skeksis takes a podling that they just captured, locks it in a chair, and tells it that they are going to suck the essence out of it and turn it into a slave. Skeksis: This won't hurt.

We only want to drain your LIVING ESSENCE. (Fat wtf) Then you can be just like the other podlings here. A SLAVE. You know, podlings don't speak English. They speak a completely different language. This Skeksis is just talking nonsense to this guy while he's locked in a chair like "What's going on?" Nothing you say goes through his man's head. And so only the emperor can drink the essence and that will keep him young forever. So what do you think you need the sun for? Also, what killed the last Skeksis? It seemed like that old age to me.
Yeah, that's cool and all, but... (Epilepsy/Seizure Warning) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA We have the scariest scene in the entire

movie

. That's right, this is the winner! You gave me the most nightmares, scene! You win a million dollars! CONGRATULATIONS, SCENE! I could go on for hours talking about how this part of the

movie

gave me nightmares, but honestly, it speaks for itself. I think what made it worse was that the podling was tied to the chair and was so helpless that his whole face melted off and he just... Augh!!!! But now that I'm older, all I can think is...
What do the slaves take? So far all the slaves have done is pull a rope to dig up some swords from the ground and bring them a plate of food. Why is there so much demand for slaves that new ones have to be manufactured? What do you do all day? When Kira and Jen arrive at the castle, they see the crabs that live in the people of Kira's village, they try to save the podlings but fail completely, the land striders die immediately, Jen and Kira open the cage in which the podlings were. podlings. and then they both corner each other and what are they going to ask questions?
Well, isn't it obvious? They will jump and float slowly to safety because Kira has wings! PFFTpfft That never made it into the shared memory part! So I guess when the Skeksis told the crystal bats to look for the Gelflings in the sky, the Skeksis: SKYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY weren't that far away. JAMES: “Hey, Kira, too bad we left the whole family behind, we didn't save them at all, not at all. “They will probably turn them into slaves now.” Okay, we're almost done, everyone, we're reaching the climax city. Jen and Kira sneak into the castle. Chamberlain is there, basically murdering Jen.
And since he captured a Gelfling, he is no longer an outcast. They should have gone with him the first time. Now two land mosquitoes are dead. Kira enters the slave room and when she was a child she was already so traumatized the first time I saw a podling become a slave and now, seeing Kira take the essence of her, I lost my mind. OH SHOOT! Kira is BECOME A SLAVE! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Happy, do you remember the old witch, Aughra? She says, "Hey, you can hear the animals talking, just ask them to help you." "Ah OK." KIRA: KAMA-le KIRA: KAMA-LE-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA She breaks free and the animals push the Skeksis who was in the room below this well, killing him.
Prior to this point, it has been hinted that the Skeksis and the Mystics are connected. If something happens to a Skeksis, there is a Mystical counterpart who experiences the same thing. Then when this Skeksis died, there was a Mystic walking around who just... And then none of the other Mystics responded. "If it happens". We then see that the Mystics can control the crab monsters. I guess it's because they are connected to the Skeksis who can also control the crab monsters. So having a mystic to accompany Jen on her journey would have been a huge help when Kira's village was raided.
Okay, let's get this over with. Fizzgig dies, Jen isn't really dead, she finds the Dark Crystal. She jumps towards it and then the fragment falls. Kira is still backed up with the shard to throw at Jen, but she is killed in the process. I said spoiler warning, right? And then Jen drops that sucker back into the glass. Jen: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA The castle falls apart around everyone and the world is saved. But first the Skeksis and the Mystics meet because they're connected, remember? They become one again, and... Are you ready? They bump into each other... and turn into alien trees.
I'm not even kidding. According to the prequels, these things are actually aliens. This is what the entire movie is already setting up for! The bad guys are only half of a schizophrenic alien tree and if you read the prequels you'll know it! Is this supposed to be a “PLOT TWIST”? Because it seems to me that the plot does what it wants! So many strange and inexplicable things have already happened in this movie that, at this point, I don't even care. By the way, Kira and Fizzgig don't actually die. After all, this is movie night. And so the world is preserved, even if there are now only three people left living there.
THE END. So that was the movie. Do you want to know something funny? I've already used more words in this video than words in the entire movie. Also, I have to ask: Jen was supposedly the “chosen one.” Narrator: Right now...Jen...is the one. But I would even say that Kira must have been the one. Let me go through my list. She rescued Jen from the mud. She shot a crystal bat out of the air. When the crab monsters attacked, she had to tell Jen to turn around. She found the fragment on the ground after Jen threw it.
She tells Jen not to trust Chamberlain. She knew where the castle was and that the land striders would take them there. She used her wings to float Jen to safety. She was able to extend her hand until she herself became a slave. And she threw the shard to Jen after she dropped Butterfingers from her. And how does she see the reward? When stung. The only thing Jen did was play her flute on a magic rock! This man is a fool! Who did Jen choose to be the one? BAD SELECTION! Now, I've said who is my second and third favorite character in this movie but who is my favorite character?
There are only three other characters to choose from, who can she be? Hmm... Well, ladies and gentlemen, my favorite character... is not in this movie. My favorite character from the Dark Crystal universe, Raunip, son of Aughra. Okay, I know I just finished the movie, but let me talk about the prequel comics for a minute. Forget Aughra, the old woman? Well, it turns out that she is an immortal being and she has existed since the creation of this world. She is fine. And one day a meteor hits the planet and she, like anyone else would do, brings it to life and Raunip appears.
And he actually he's the main character of the prequel books and he's also technically an alien. I love him because he's the only one who asks what's going on. He asks the same questions I've been asked. He is my favorite, he is the only character I always wanted to cosplay. If they ever make the prequels into a movie, I ask them to play Raunip. This is how it works, I ask for the interpretation of this character. I just show up to auditions and say, “Uh, my name is really badass, so…” Also in the second book, Aughra and her son have a moment and Raunip says, “Will you remember me, mother?
After all the damage I caused? “I will never forget you, girl…” Hmph! GOOD! You didn't seem to remember it in the movie! Also, if there are any producers watching, that was my audition just now playing Raunip. Would I recommend watching The Dark Crystal? Well, I'm just spoiling it all, so no, it would be a waste of time right now, but if I were talking to someone who hasn't seen this video, then yes, I would recommend it. Even with all its flaws, I still think it's a creative movie and I don't know, maybe it would be fun to talk about it later.
Maybe I felt insensitive doing all this research, but I also enjoyed the prequel comics. After all, my favorite character is there. There was also a manga, "Legends of the Dark Crystal" made and it was supposed to take place between these books and the movie, so these books don't even cover the gap between the beginning of... the sheets are still in foot. a melodrama These books still leave you in suspense. Speaking of manga, there were plans to make a sequel to The Dark Crystal, another film, but the film ended up being cancelled. But BOOM! is producing a 12-episode comedy series.
Studios and it's not even finished yet, they're just getting going, like the second installment. This is recent, y'all! So now is a good time to delve into the Dark Crystal fandom. Like I said, I think The Dark Crystal is a creative story, Jim Henson really took on more than he can chew when making this movie, but seeing how many comics have been created to tell this story, maybe The Dark Crystal is best told through of comics. and not the limitations of 80's puppetry. Anyway, that's exactly what I thought about the movie. If you heard this, it means you made it!
This video as of now is the longest video on this channel. I hope I have been able to entertain you for so long. Be sure to check out everything from the other YouTubers who participated in this collaboration. I don't know why I decided to do this. How do you guys make such long videos and not hate yourselves? Just making this video takes away a part of my soul. I'm recording this final card after I finish editing it all and it's just leaning against the wall of my closet. Me, I just wanted to do it. I have to thank my friend GingerPale who went all out and colored many of the photos, so some of them looked better than the ones she usually drew.
Shut up. Like I was just saying, "Hey, pull this." And then I would just do it! That?! If it weren't for him, this video would have come out like a day later. She explained that she was working on her own video so she could help me and so everyone could thank GingerPale. And I bought a Chamberlain Funko Pop! Because he is my favorite! Why is it my favorite? I don't have to explain anything! On my Imgur account, I made a comment a year ago that is simply “HHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMM”, a reference to The Dark Crystal, and you've already upvoted it.
So, Frick, buddy... put on your seat belt.
