The MOST luxurious 4x4 ever created - see why!
Feb 19, 2020This is the new Rolls-Royce Cullinan black badge. It's just like a regular Cullinan, only it has some styling upgrades and some performance upgrades. I think showing you inside is glorious. Point out some of its
most
interesting features. Look how thick and delicious it is. Tell me what's not so good. I'm probably going to run over with this session. They are jealous and jealous eyes and yes I am going to poke him with a stick. Anyway, I like the sports exhaust on a Rolls-Royce, dammit, before we get to the review, make sure you subscribe to this channel, hit the bell icon to turn on your notifications. So you alerted when we uploaded a new upload, do it because if you've been watching for years and years you n

have. It breaks my heart. Who does it? Also subscribe if you want to see the new car wars yes. the car laughs its amazing actually click the po p-up banner there and you can download it from the apple store or google play store so do that too theres premium suv like a bmw x7 it will cost me about eighty thousand pounds then there are luxury SUVs like the been Tyga which will set you back around £150,000 and then there is the Rolls Royce Cullinan SUV which is much more reassuringly expensive it starts at sixty five thousand pounds for kids or three hundred and five thousand pounds if you want the black badge this car with options three hundred and eighty great king of the earth let's talk about Colin ins design it's an absolutely huge thing isn't it look at it it's huge down here although being the black badge we have a sports exhaust on a Rolls-Royce, dammit, the tailpipes? inside there's a royal look that makes it better with the big size car white label, right this is the first SUV or four wheel drive since Rolls Royce was founded in 1906, in fact some call this an SUV, it's called an X UV as in luxury SUV which I don't know confusingever
yone anyway they say it's the first SUV with a three box layout like a normal salt car the first box is the hood the second box is this pot here the third pot that is supposed to be silly, as is this part, it's more like a boot than anything.I'm not really seeing it, am I? They look good on me omg say yes I have to say what I think looks a bit like a London cab. To back that up to miles, I'll probably loan myself a car again for saying yes, no sorry? Syl, it's huge, it's huge, look at it and you can see the relationship with the Ghost under the skin too. it's pretty much the same as the Phantom, it's based on the Phantom platform, so anyone who says it's just the wh7 boom because BMW owns Rolls-Royce after all, it's not that they're wrong, they're wrong, a proper scroll built in britain at goodwood by men and his hands look at the front wow it's huge apparently the light design here with this thi ck's forehead is supposed to look like the forehead of a saxon warrior it's ok so when you're first in a Cullinan it's a bit of a strange experience the way you have that huge Rolls-Royce bonnet but it's even higher than any other rolls-royce the interior feels like a Rolls Royce should be of impeccable quality or is everything so beautiful and there is metal everywhere metal metal metal metal metal metal then there is super soft leather leather this is the Blackmagic carbon fiber here common fiber comb fiber fiber there and here is the private door too yellow with the mo Black badge delo that highlights the interior, it's glorious, although I did find a couple of cheap plastic parts and they're all over here, the steering controller. rolls the stems that's all I can complain about because yeah it's lovely there's decent practicality so cup holders storage cups decent door bins I'm happy about it I'm also happy about this the grab handles aren't your crap usual plastic soft leather and metal oh yeah live in the Rolls Royce lifestyle the rear of the Cullinan is just as plush as the front seats it's not as roomy maybe it's the Phantom but who's complaining i have plenty of space for the head you also need the car three, yes it's ok it's a very wide car you will be able to fit three people through this no problem you can take babies look there is a sign that says you can so So your isofix points are great if you need to carry long items look you have to recharge your practice you see it's an SUV sorry X UV this is a bit uninteresting though it's in all of this before particularly special yeah , Great, let's see what's unusual, though the way you sit behind the main gate and their heads near the traffic light, so it reminds me of a black cab.
I've done it again. I'm definitely not going into the Roswell semi-seeker anyway. Let's take a look at the beep. Oh, that's kind of annoying. and close the door electrically by pressing this button but i can't open it by pressing the button i have to do it manually now what wheel i could argue someone will come and open the door for you because you're very important but occasionally i'm not and then you have to fight because it's mounted here the hinge is very hard to open the legs have to put a lot of pressure so you have to push there now the reason you can't open electrically is because if you push a button it opens and hits a spot or something someone could sue rolls -Royce whereas if you physically opened it then it's your fault yeah anyway boot the capacity is 560 liters which is more than a badly bent tiger but less than an Aston Martin DBS and if you click the pop up banner there you can see my detailed video on the Aston Martin DBS so check out the lovely boot carpet the parcel shelf is extremely expensive in oak, yes I won't throw this in the bushes of course not I can't afford to do that it's very handy that you have this where you can sit in Vaadin's seats electrically of course it takes your time there you go later You can fill it up with things and push it to the front, like the parcel rack take it out of temptations, so what should you throw it into the bushes?
I wonder what is going on here. It's going to be hard to carry stuff with that. well i'll come back to that later in this video as some of the cool things about this Cullinan of which there are many as you'll find out now being the black plate model this car has several elements that would normally be in shiny silver chrome on black chrome grille edge Spirit of Ecstasy listening he bit this part that part and the Rolls-Royce badging also the black badging models come pre-selected with black paint which is seven thousand five hundred pounds and the pinstripes which is another eleven hundred pounds now when i say shortlisted you still have to pay for them but they are just auto marked because that's what the black plate car should look like you can stick any color you want on it confusing if a regular vin plate just isn't possible for then you can get this special here which is more like a badge that will set you back £600+ although the black badge model has rims too upgraded alloy, so it has 22 inches as standard instead of the normal puny ones.
There are also upgraded brakes. with omg red brake calipers first time on a rolls like in other roles like you know they send two caps that stay in the right position when you drive it looks really cool the infotainment system is a version reworked from BMW the previous generation I drive so everything is pretty decent and if you look now the pictures of the vehicle are from the Cullinan you also have the really cool surround view camera system once again from the MW when you can look around the car and look at least it's a Cullinan one more time when you turn the car off it does this it hides the entertainment system which is great but I do what she did that thing Bentley systems do now where you can turn the board. to show analog dials or just wood now you want to see my Bentley Flying Spur drop tip video review just click there talking about the Bentley Flying Spur having digital pot wrists like this car looks traditional but the counter of revs real and it's all a digital image nice touch for nine hundred pounds you can get the optional lambswool rugs look how thick and delicious they are you know i could use that as batman at home i think i could take it if you want your own seats for now on racing, you can pay Rolls-Royce £13,000 to have this optional boot seat gloriously installed.
I like how it works electrically, though sadly it's only up to this point and then you have to manually put the backs in. Myself, I'm too rich to do this, now go away, that's better for £6500 you can have the shooting star ceiling which has up to 1340 different LEDs in the ceiling and mimics the constellation of stars over the Goodwood Factory its lovely and there are eight different shooting star animations like with Phantom the Cullinan as umbrellas built into the rear doors an idea Skoda copied we actually have a long term Skoda Scarlett car and this is the front door umbrella that car so i'm going to switch them in there we go to what we should do and stick with this no one will ever know so what is this and any restroom maps speedboat driven by malcolm campbell and skippered by malcolm campbell in the 1930s that was powered by roll-royce engines and is just a symbol of power and history and stuff that you can get the Cullinan with a tow hitch that deploys electrically at Through the 2,000+ pounds, but then you can use your Rolls-Royce to tow a paratroop van or, more likely, a horse trailer.
If you fancy a nice dinner in the back of your Rolls Royce SUV, no problem, there are some exquisite electrically operated picnic tables. Oh you pay an extra five thousand pounds yes rear entertainment system lovely lovely lovely and he can control the sat nav from here too. If you want, the Cullinan gets self-leveling air suspension as standard. it also has two cameras right behind here that can read the road ahead and will look at the suspension specifically either firmer or softer depending on what the camera sees it also has active anti-roll bars to keep it from leaning too far back. the corners there is also rear wheel steering to make it a bit more maneuverable but all of these things you have on the phantom however there are two buttons you don't get on the phantom that you or just hop on the Cullinan and are these a off road button that configures things like the suspension, steering, gearbox and engine to go off road.
There's also Hill Descent Control to help you navigate down a hill safely. Things I like about this color but not everything is perfect and here are some annoying things for example this watch because it's black you can't really see it from the driver's seat. I have no idea what time it is, I probably will. run over with this shoot well it's wonderful that the Cullinan gets better stock seats with eight different settings and three different intensities to be annoying where they locate the button because when you're stuck in your seat you can't actually see it to press and get the correct configuration you want.
It's a little silly for a standard SUV to not have rear seats that recline if you want you to have to pay extra for the opulence package, but it doesn't really matter for someone who can't afford this type of car, it's more just the hassle of having Than checking one more box you might be forgetting that rolls-royce is very proud of the fact that their SUV has a fording depth of over half a meter now I'm going to put that in perspective for you because a Range Rover has a wading depth of al
most
a meter a meter could swim in a meter not the four meters in left hand drive markets you can get something called sanctuary seats and that includes a glass panel that separates the cabin from the trunk so if someone opens the trunk it's very cold outside it's not cold for some reason you can't get it with right hand drive cars the color line gets Rolls Royces 6.75 liter biturbo v12 normally has 570 cab lls horsepower and 850 Newton meters of torque but in the black badge you get six horsepower and 900 Newton meters of torque and it sounds a little more fruity when you rev it up yeah that upgraded black badge sports exhaust is just a bit noisier still always so refine Now it's time to find out what it's like to drive this Rolls-Royce by cutting off their black plate so the first thing I notice is the novelty of sitting so high up in a Rolls-Royce.I can see why they built this thing. its pretty obvious there was a hole in the opponents lineup they just need to fill in the SUV folks and the Rolls Royces folks combine the two and you have quite a few sales for such a normally good brand and product the black badge that has something a little special running you'll see what it has now I say it's sporty rich this has a little strange in a rolls-royce in fact there is a buttonsporty on the car but it doesn't say sporty it says low to low it's right here now why not push there it gets different mapping for throttle and gearbox and with the black badging it's more aggressive than any other Rolls-Royce normal, which means that when I step on the foot, it instantly takes off if it wasn't a black one. badge model it would have been smoother the truck too gears shift more fiercely when you're in this low mode and more fiercely than a normal rolls-royce cullinan suspension is also firmer in black badge on colored moon normal and normal two point suspension anyway it just feels a little stiffer than the Phantom it's not a bit of a breather II when you hit a twisty section of road this car rides well it will turn corners so right as you need it and of course it's four wheel drive. another thing you notice with the black badge model is the exhaust more when you're driving it's quite interesting a rolls-royce making that sound you don't expect it but it's nice and never annoying while the black badge can have a sportier than the Cullin normal.
It's still not sporty to drive like a Bentley. I walk but I can't I can't risk I don't know scratch my paint and they hit you with a ticket to fix it oh that's good the brakes are strong that soft in progressive there's a long travel to the pedal but they make a good I work stopping this giant, it feels like you. I have kept on ership there a little. I like it because it has character, it has style and a lot of beginning. Here Rolls Royce is fit it's called a lot of sound insulation, in fact it weighs twice as much as me in terms of soundproofing fitted to this car, it has double glazed windows, it also has foam in the tire so you don't hear a thing.
Road noise makes us all great for freeway driving, as do the super comfortable seats that are almost infinitely adjustable. I have this car back to back with the Phantom and the Phantom is definitely a little more comfortable, it feels more
luxurious
. More than this but that doesn't take anything away from the Cullinan it's still veryluxurious
in its own right you can chew up the miles on this thing just ignore the fact it finished at 70 mpg but who cares it's got a a lot of money. You have a Rolls Royce so our problem is having to stop to fill it up although it has a huge tank so you don't have to do all that often considering it's quite interesting to drive on these narrow roads can it cope with these curves? ok oh there's a little test run for the car people will wait keep in mind I'm in a Rolls Royce now could you give me more space than that couldn't I thank you kind sir Is it because he is jealous or jealous? eyes, little does he know, this is not my car, I'm just borrowing it for a few days to feel for you, oh and again, he's raising a little issue honestly, another issue with the Cullinan and that's trying to fit it. a normal sized parking lot so here I have a parking lot with s Some reasonably generous sized bays can only fit in the entire bay without spilling out like a fat person with two small clothes to block in the 360 degree camera.Still, it could be a bit difficult if these cars park next to me because you can see where the doors open on this graphic. Still, it's a small price to pay for being able to drive one of these busier ones every day, so what's my final verdict? the rolls-royce Cullinan well this is hands down the most luxurious SUV I've ever been in it's also an SUV that feels like a rolls-royce the only thing is if you're not planning on going off road I wouldn't have this, I only have the Phantom because it looks better in my opinion if you enjoyed this video please subscribe to this channel for more videos and if you click the offer box to the right you can see how much you can get. save on a new car at car wow or click the eo windows video below to see another one of my videos
