Feb 27, 2022
What's going on guys travel consumers? Finally, I have in my hands the Sony WF 1000 X Mark three. Sony was cool enough to sponsor today's video and put them in my hands so I can give you my unfiltered thoughts on their latest headphones now. the Sony WF 1000x is a mouthful but it shares a very similar model number to the WH 1000 X Mark three which are the larger earphones that have become extremely popular these days because they are just an amazing pair of earphones so which are so close named after him expectations are really high now let's start with a design they share a similar design language to the WH they have that black and copper look going for them it's a very sleek and clean look and even the travel case you used to carry these have that nice black and copper look they both feel and look very premium it's made of plastic but overall in the hands doesn't feel cheap when in the ears they don't stick out too much No they hide exactly inside the ears, but they don't look very big either, which I'm a big fan of in the area.

I actually saw them in my ears one day and she was like, 'Oh, they actually look pretty good, it's not something you listen to. a lot of the truly wireless headphones so Sony is doing something right in the design department they absolutely look like the headphones version of the WHS and Sony actually offers another color it's one of those beige and copper options that actually they look pretty clean but i have to say black that's where it's at for me but we need to talk about comfort. I usually have a lot of trouble keeping

earbuds

in my ears.

I have funny shaped ears. contact point so they can rest in your ears of course you have the silicone tips that stay inside the ear canal and there is also another contact point right at the base of the earplugs that has a rubber finish which is different for me the plastic that's around the ear cup so with that point that's left in your ear you have another friction point so it doesn't fall off if you're doing some kind of crazy activity or if you're actually moving around it makes a really good I work by staying in place, so in the comfort department I was very happy with my experience here, especially since I didn't need to add any sort of wingtips to make sure they stayed in the design Sony came up with. . actually works pretty well and haven't had any problems now strong it applies a bunch of different ear tips you have extra small small medium large silicone tips and they also include these extra foam tips so if you're familiar with Kampai foam tips which are actually included but are a bit softer compared to the regular foam tips I've used in the past and actually feel extremely comfortable now design comes to the side let's start talking about what makes these things special now if you know

sony

headphones you know they tend to offer a lot of features and this one is no different and you'll notice both headphones have these touchpads so you can control the headphones or the audio you're listening to on the right earcup you get pretty standard stuff, you have your play, pause, skip a track, go back a track, answer calls like that, but in On the left earbud you will be able to toggle between different noise canceling features like turning ambient sound on or off and within the companion app if you don't want to toggle between noise canceling modes you can toggle it to turn on Google assistant now which The only thing really missing from these touch controls here is the ability to control your volume, so if you want to change your volume, you'll have to activate your voice assistant and tell it to turn up the volume or go directly to your device, which is like a of the only functions that are really missing.

The headphones I wish were there but it's not a deal breaker honestly I'm glad this thing doesn't have any of those little buttons because usually small buttons on headphones like this are really awkward to use so that having a lot of those touch controls makes things a lot easier now that we mention the fact that this thing has active noise canceling and I have to say it's one of those features that you really don't expect to have in headphones since they do a pretty good job isolating sounds through passive noise cancellation, but it's amazing that it's there when you just have the headphones in your ears and you turn that active noise on and off, you definitely see the impact of what it's doing.

And when you're playing music, forget it, there's little chance you'll hear anything unless it's a very penetrating sound. In fact, I was at the train station where there is a lot of construction. He did a great job. blocking out all g except for the huge massive jackhammer and I even made sure to turn active noise canceling on and off to really see if it was having an impact and I have to say having it on made a world of difference for someone who commutes and commutes a lot and you're really trying to block out everything this thing does an amazing job at that but one thing it does have is an ambient noise feature so with this feature you'll be able to hear the environment around you like you're listening to your music or just you've got your headphones on, now the cool thing is that within the app you can control how much ambient sound you want to let in and you can even focus nicely on voices, so if you don't really care about the environment coming in a lot, at least you can let the voices in, so if someone tries to talk to you, you can go ahead and talk to them now.
It's also good if you just put your finger on the left earcup. and someone comes up and talks to you, you'll be able to h hear what they're saying have a conversation the microphones in the headphones themselves amplify what's going on around you so you can hear voices clearly and pleasantly even though your ear canals are completely blocked by the headphones headphones now What if I told you that headphones can switch between all those different modes automatically? Wellstones got this new feature called adaptive sound control where the

earbuds

are smart enough to detect what's going on around you and basically turn the noise cancellation down. or increase it depending on what you're doing, it uses something called your sensory motor to know if you're sitting still, walking, running and when you're switching between these different activities, the headphones will be able to detect that and adjust the ambient sound settings to match. with the activity you're doing, let's say you're doing something like walking, the headphones will adjust and give you a little bit of that ambient sound so you know what's going on around you, but if you're running it'll give you even more, so so if say a car is coming you'll be able to hear it clearly and of course react to that but if you're in a bit more Transport if you're on a train or a plane it will automatically kick in and give you full noise cancellation so you don't hear anything around you, you can just disconnect from the rest of the world while you relax and listen to your music and you actually found that it detected and activated the different modes enough It's alright but I will say I think you should go into settings and change the time it takes to get into the different modes too short because it's not a really jarring effect if you're in the short mode it actually kicks in right when you need it to so which I would definitely suggest as a pro tip to change it to short but it's one of my favorite features that I feel all truly wireless earbuds should have at this point is automatic pause your audio once you remove one of the earbuds from the ear and if you put it back of course it will resume and if you take them out and put them in even if you don't put them in their case right? they turn off after about five minutes they will turn off automatically so your battery won't drain just with them on and not in use now with all these special features and active noise cancellation you are probably wondering how much battery life can you get out of these on a single charge the headphones will last six hours with active noise canceling on and if you turn them off you get eight hours of use and when to charge in case you get a full 24 hours of listening with active noise canceling and if you decide to go without active noise canceling you get a total of 32 hours of listening and even the case has some pretty cool features it has a quick charge feature where if you put the earphones in for just 10 minutes you get 90 minutes of use which h is enough to cover a ride home not to mention they also have magnets inside them so it will be a breeze to reattach the headphones culars inside the case, without having to search for them once you put them inside the case, they go directly to their spot, it also has NFC for quick pairing with devices that support it, and of course, it uses USB type-c for charging, for which is definitely a solid case i'd say it's a medium size it's not the smallest case i've seen but it's not. big enough to cause a problem when you just want to throw this thing in your pocket definitely a good size for all the extra battery life you get as well as the extra features now of course you guys want to know about the sound quality I have to say Right out of the box I was pretty impressed with these, they live up to the standards that the WH 1000 X have with a really balanced sound and give you enough headroom so you can go ahead and adjust the equalizer settings to get these sound just the way they want them, now they know I love bass, that's why I love headphones with extra bass from Sony. to go ahead and add that bass it's actually extremely easy to do that and it puts it in the right place in the performance of any of my headphones and I'll be honest with you guys I haven't really found the need to do that much Honestly what I you get out of the box sounds great vocals are clear not a ton of bass really has a good overall bounce sound but like i said you have more than enough headroom these headphones are capable if you want to go ahead and tweak it you can getting the sound quality you get from these four pairs of headphones in the price range that definitely doesn't disappoint in the audio department so my expectations were met with these considering it's the in-ear version of the WHS absolutely these headphones are going crazy Loads of features and can do things no other headphones on the market can do right now so which is pretty impressive stuff honestly it's not even insanely expensive there are more expensive headphones that do less than this so I'm actually really very happy with these and I think it's one of those Sony headphones that are really easy to recommend But I want to know what you guys think.
If you own this pair of headphones, please let me know how your experience has been with a comment. below but those of you out there in the market for a pair of headphones these are the ones i think you should seriously consider but that's it for this video guys i hope you enjoyed it whether it was the guy or the girl from the pool that give this video a thumbs up I'll catch you in the next one told Dennis his average consumer base
