THAILAND CAPSULE HOTEL (sleeping in the Bangkok airport)

We spent the last week in Myanmar sailing down the Irrawaddy River with 36 of our new friends, but today it's time to say goodbye. to this beautiful country, well, we are heading to the

airport

to begin our trip to our 97th country, Bangladesh, although Mandalay, where we are currently and Dhaka, where we are going, are not that far away, it will still be quite a long trip and that is This is because the cheapest flight included an overnight stopover in Bangkok.

s because it could be a pretty miserable experience. However, we're actually pretty excited about tonight's stopover. We have flown to Bangkok airport so many times, but I didn't have one. hint that there was a

located at the bottom of the airport so apparently everyone who flies Bangkok Airways has access to their lounge so expect it to be busy but they have coffee and popcorn free and one month without winning. about us members and all passengers of both YPG, saving one for about four, so I hope that airport passengers live on the domestic or international flight and become an oppressed nightclub.

Well, we have arrived in Bangkok, it is currently 945, our plane is not leaving. until tomorrow morning at 1055, so our 13 hour layover begins. Unfortunately, the

is not located within the security area, so technically you have to enter the country, go through customs, and then find the basement. Our beds are right here. It is not like this. In one hotel, they just put it in the middle of the floor, but it looks like the future will take it, so we were assigned a locker and a capsule. Kara entered a four-digit PIN code for both of us, so we'll use that code to access both of them this is way bigger than okay.

I just got a room tour from the super sweet lady and it took about five seconds. Let me show you the first impressions. This bed is actually very soft. I feel like I'm in a spaceship it's so white and futuristic and there are ambient lights, that's the first thing I'm going to play with, this is my control panel, all these buttons, I still have no idea what does what, but oh , it's bright, the ambient light is getting brighter, yes. pink, sure, this is a fan that says ahh. I like the noise. I drowned out some of the airport sounds.

This place is not exactly soundproof as I imagined. Pain, we have some USBs, a fast and slow reading correct sleep mode like it's 20 degrees Celsius here at 10:40 it looks like I can turn up the temperature and I think that's it for the control panel, we also have some comforts , we have to stay cool in the capsule hotel, little whites, mmm, so we don't have a shower here, this is how I'll cool off a little tonight it actually smells really good a bottle of water total paper and earplugs this is a nice touch earplugs are highly recommended to significantly increase the quality of your sleep the walls of this place are Not exactly, I think so, yes, very nice pillows and a big bed.

This bed is huge. We could have easily both slept in one. I don't know if that's what you're supposed to do if you're reserving a line. Technically two people aren't allowed to sleep here, but you could get away with it, just have one person come check in and pick up the capsule and another person can sneak in, it's $50. I will be very dishonest, but it is not allowed. Why don't you have enough space for your things? There is also Wi-Fi here, it is so secure and that concludes my tour of the room. I think tonight will be a little better. and we were so fresh to travel that everything we were left with our eyes wide open everything what is this they fall asleep there everything is confusing and the crowd is queuing yes, especially when you are new to traveling we got back on the horse this will be better it is a miracle we're still traveling okay a quick tour of the bathroom, much quicker than usual because it's just the airport bathroom, there's one interesting thing, it's like a communal toilet paper, there's no toilet paper in any of the cubicles, all together, toilet paper, before which I didn't.

Wow, I mentioned it, but this is so much better than sleeping on the floor or the couch in the airport lounge. It's pretty amazing that we have this giant, comfy bed in the basement of Bangkok airport. Well, these stakes are so big and right next door I'm thinking of going to your council you'd think that since we're always together I'd be happy to have a break you know a quote it's hot in here I don't know the body heat of two people yeah one small square, yeah, come on, I didn't really think about that body heat thing.

It's really not fun to be around Nate when he's hot, come in here, I feel like I'm in a dorm, but there's so much room, it's a queen size bed, it means idealistic, right? Yeah, I don't think it's that soft and I thought this mattress was nice. firm but ok the only check out instructions in the way it was done don't take my sandals as you would expect there were no breakfast options or shower facilities in the capsule hotel but we have access to permits where both the memory and the last but not least, not a bad breakfast, dim sum and goth ice cream, and everything is great, this is something that never runs out.
