than before yeah so this will be the Model S fromlong
range
plus and includes Model X as well.Elon tweeted yesterday that every Tesla Model S and X made in recent months has more range than ever before. The range of the Model S EPA is now 390 miles, or 630 kilometers. and it will be unlocked soon via a free software update so I think this is a really smart thing that Tesla did instead of going out and being like today we're producing new Model S's that will have better range they basically said Hi yeah they bought in the last few months, guess what, guess what they also got that they didn't know they had. I think this is a really positive way for buyers and for the whole company culture to do this kind of thing. from throwback stuff where people were saying it was kind of a surprise what other company does this right I mean right by the way the computer you just bought is more powerful than the one we made there's more RAM yeah right , like when, when, ever. bought some and it turned out to be better than when it was in the showroom at the end then the seller was pitching it to what i thought was interesting is jason tweeted to elon and said why the
long
rangemodel
just got renamed long . -range plus in Ilan said the regulations require calling it something else so we added plus I didn't know that so when you add more stuff you have to call it something else right? And now this was teased on the Third Row with Elon podcast. Elin said that basically the cars already rank better than the EPA numbers, so he wanted to reflect that on the last earnings call, an analyst asked Elon about raising money from Tesla and Elon said that it really didn't make sense. well said we are actually spending money as fast as we can sensibly spend it so if there is any sensible way to spend money we are spending it there is no artificial hold on spending all I see is what it appears to be Well. Value for money the answer is yes right away but we are spending money I think efficiently and we are not artificially limiting our progress and despite everything we are still generating positive cash so in light From that, it doesn't make sense to raise money because we expect to generate cash despite this level of growth, but note that when you said stock price was yes, I mean it was before the stock price took a turn. big jump up to seven hundred dollars plus a share so now Tesla just announced that there is a new stock offering of two point six five million shares that would raise between two and two point three billion dollars both Elon and the board member Larry Ellison said they plan to buy ten million dollars worth of shares of Elon and Larry $1 million now Tesla currently has six point three billion dollars in cash so this would put them at more than 8.3 billion dollars and I'm guessing this extra money is going to fund Giga Texas I totally agree I think that's a really smart idea it's the best time to raise capital in stock price history if you want to think about it that way because these are some of the all-time highs and it's actually been pretty steady at this level.
I think it's a perfect opportunity. Why waste it? Why not get an extra two billion dollars for not having a lot of stock? So the Taiwan Military Police or ROC Military Police, ROC MP, bought two Tesla Model 3 vehicles. And according to the Official Tesla Owners Club of Taiwan, they were so happy with them. they just bought these twenty
model
threes plus Wow and speaking of the police and model threes in Westport Connecticut we told you about your police force you bought a model three is a patrol car now we have found out that instead of having to pay the The usual three thousand dollars for the police cameras, the Westport Police Department is going to use the Tesla sentinel camera which they say is higher quality than the regular police cameras and we'll save them $3,000 per car Wow, And in addition to saving for the cameras, you'll save an estimated $13,000,770 in fuel savings just in the first three years, right? And that doesn't even include maintenance that's just for one car, right? Jesse Tesla Model X owner Justin Bowen says his Model X could have saved his life when, during an icy thunderstorm last year, he lost control and his car skidded off the road, the driver of the Jesse Tesla Model X said. tow truck said it was a 70 degree incline and then was surprised it didn't flip look at that picture it looks like it's defying the laws of physics just sitting there yeah justin said the car wasn't on autopilot and this road is Notoriously dangerous, there was a truck a few hundred feet below, any other car would have flipped and gone much lower.
The autopilot emergency braked as soon as I went off the road with the extreme grade saving my life, yes that looks like Wiley coyote to me. to have that I know a lot of a slope and your car is as if it stopped. I can't believe it's time for some railings, yeah, so you know Jesse Fudd sparks love. Tesla remembers and they seem to think that it is some kind of argument for Tesla. It's going to shut down, but let's remember that every automaker eventually issues recalls and this latest Tesla Model X recall that we're talking about here is really quite small, so Tesla says that approximately 15,000 Model Xs from early October 2016 that include Sparky are affected.
It's a similar problem that the Model S had a couple of years ago - the power steering bolts corrode in certain bad weather situations, ie places where we put a lot of salt on the roads and they can break, so it doesn't mean that you're going to lose steering it just means the power steering would stop if the bolts broke and Tesla is being proactive and they say they will replace the steering bolts and add a corrosion preventative sealant to the bolts and 15,000 cars it's not that's a big deal there are many other recalls all the time so Skoda is the Czech owned subsidiary of Volkswagen and they announced last week their first evie built from the ground up on Volkswagen's meb platform, the M , yes, yes, it has two motors for 302 horsepower, it has a WL TP range, why use that standard?
But anyway it's 310 miles of WL TP range so it's going to be substantially less and it's got an 83 kilowatt hour battery so it's very similar to the VW id cross so you'll have three different sizes of battery will have two bodies and SUV and a coupe coming out in 2021 Skoda says it will have five models of electric vehicles by 2025 and then 25% of its sales will be B II V or Phe V so it is a battery electric vehicle or a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle and the eniac will be manufactured in the Czech Republic. Tesla will build the long-range, rear-wheel-drive Model 3 at the Shanghai Giga factory in China, that's a model they stopped. doing here in the states although we have one yes and i must say i really like it's a lot of fun to drive J and Shanghai tweeted this so thanks to J currently only the standard range plus rear wheel drive is available in china and now we hear that the Shanghai Giga factory built 2625 model threes in January so that's about 1000 a week in a single shift and the good thing about that is this puts Tesla at six point one percent of China production and Evi in January, right? keep in mind they are only ramping up production of the model 3 damped of course in february because of the corona virus but 6.1% at that low production number means once they ramp up fully we are talking about two digits of any V production in China, yeah, and China is three to four times that of the United States, so it's going to be really exciting for Tesla, now speaking of gigafactory upgrades, the Berlin gigafactory has started construction.
George Steinbeck, the Brandenburg state minister for economics, labor and energy, tweeted as much last Thursday. preparation for construction begins a historical photo from a few minutes ago has started and now heavy equipment is arriving look at this there is footage of big trucks going through the woods now normally i don't like to see felled woods but in this case yes a concert of factories you go there this is very excited right and keep in mind this is not a natural forest right this was planted for cardboard the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority announced last Friday that excavation is complete on the first of two miles -40 foot long vehicular tunnels under the Las Vegas Convention Center campus.
The second tunnel will start next week, so it only took three months to complete a mile-long tunnel. Keep in mind that these tunnels will move 4,400 attendees per hour. Scheduled to debut in January 2021 at CES, this is a $52.5 million project with three passenger stations and it will only take you a minute to get from one end of campus to the other, all for free in Tesla electric vehicles, TRUE? I think the thing here is when we're talking about $53 million, that's a lot of money and I think a lot of people say wow, that sounds pretty expensive, like what you'd expect for a tunnel project and it's actually a lot more. cheap what would you be talking about yeah I mean this convention project cost over a billion dollars so to put it in perspective it's only a small fraction of exactly what the entire convention project will cost according to the user from Reddit Lightning byte
tesla
posted a message in the app last week over spring break, we've changed your navigation to show more charging options in Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, choose the charging symbol at the bottom bottom right of your touch screen, scroll down and select a target charger of supercharger or public charger to add it to your route, heard correctly, we are talking about public chargers, so this would be the first time that a charger that is not of the Tesla brand would be on a Tesla touch screen map if correct, yeah, so this is kind of exciting.I understand this would be happy in Europe there are a lot of fast charging stations and so if Tesla owners wanted to take advantage of that it would be a bit difficult they have to go to a separate app to find those chargers now it looks like they could start to find them in your actual infotainment system in the car and the lightning bytes said its not like they turned them all on at once he said only a few showed up so it sounds like maybe Tesla is calling through them and slowly adding them, maybe just certain chargers.
We'd love to hear more if you could comment below. If you live in Europe and you're seeing this on your app, please let us know when new chargers are coming online and also what kind of chargers because I mean are these level 2 chargers or are these fast charging stations because I mean if they were to roll out This in America they would only have Electrify America and Evi go and we wouldn't have the right one you would have to buy an adapter to use pretty much any of them so for the first time a Tesla semi has been seen in Canada.
Tesla said that in the short term it is preparing for several weeks of winter testing to validate the trucks' performance in cold weather and low traction conditions, we are happy to share our winter insights with you as we will be able to highlight the main advantages of electric drive and engine control that no diesel powertrain can match, which is why Jason Lennox 81-57 on Instagram spotted him cruising the then, Ryan Lake on Instagram spotted him in Ashcroft, British Columbia, so that could be headed to Tesla's Alaskan winter proving grounds, we won't have to see it, nothat someone is willing to yell at you, but secondly, if it sounds bad to you, I'm not saying you have to vote for a Democrat.
I don't think that's what you should do. they get together and they know, ask their reps, they know why that usually doesn't work because they don't have enough money, the oil companies have more money than you do and they're the ones that will get it. the republicans got re-elected so even if you call them and complain like oh thank you so much hang good and then they'll vote the way the lobbyists want me too that's why we have to change governments we have to take money out this is exciting
news
let's do something fun here okay tussle is hiring a new pilot line production engineer cell engineering so how does that sound they're going to make a pilot line production engineer pilot line for cell engineering? its own batteries that's what it sounds like yes the responsibilities arecommission ramp unit design of a complex manufacturing tool that is the first of its kind at Tesla Tesla's cell manufacturing engineering group is Seeking a highly motivated Equipment Development Engineer to accelerate our next generation battery cell manufacturing program. This position will be involved in design. developing, commissioning, and ramping up high-performing teams while working in a cross-functional team to test, validate, and implement process and product design changes Wow, that's a lot of stuff you need to be kind of really capable person but remember well he bought high bar last year that specializes in cell manufacturing so it could be Tesla making their own batteries now let's remember that so far Tesla has bought cells from Panasonic in Japan for their models snx and Panasonic partners with Tesla to make 2170 cells for Tesla Model 3 at Giga one factory in Sparks Nevada hmm but now we hear that Tesla is also looking for battery cell manufacturing engineers in Europe probably to work at Giga Berlin, interesting, you know, Lathrop is also interesting, yeah, you can't get out of Lathrop, check this out, Tesla is hiring production associates to support the development of building and assembling Tesla's electric vehicles.
Wait, was this a quote for Lathrop? This was a hiring event taking place this coming Saturday in Lathrop, California. It's interesting, so let's remind everyone that Tesla has a giant building, a building the size of a factory. in Lathrop California, which they claim is just a parched distribution plant and also have a list of associated CNC machining and production forecasts and will be involved in the development and application of Tesla's production system for casting and machining of structural components for Tesla Model S and Model X mm-hmm that sounds like more than just distribution, but maybe they just have hire day there and you know the real work is going to be done somewhere else.
It's true that the Fremont factory is a very busy place, so you might want to keep it. somewhere you know parking lots a little less catchy but I don't know I'm just saying that Lathrop might be something that might be interesting so remember that the Department of Justice had launched an investigation into Ford, VW, Honda and BMW for practices antitrust after they sided with carbs which is the California Air Resources Board to implement stricter vehicle emission standards than the trump administration wants so remember the trump administration wanted to lower the standards . like Ford and VW, Honda and BMW sided with California so it was about the federal government trying to seize power over the states to raise emissions standards for vehicles correctly and the crazy part is that manufacturers of cars cited with right side carb with the good one, those four did it anyway, the Justice Department announced last week it was dropping the investigation, so now carbs in thirteen other states have a stricter standard than the clean air and water act and California Gov.
Gavin Newsom said these trumped up charges were always a sham a blatant attempt by the Trump administration to prevent more automakers from joining California and agreeing to tougher emission standards the decision is a win for anyone who cares about the rule of law and clean air so this is good news yeah so how Tron owner confidence was approaching 10,000 miles and his display from Tron it showed this you said e Tron, right, yes they each run the electric, yes it's Audi's electric car, yes it's electric, it doesn't have a gasoline engine, no it doesn't even have one.
The hybrid doesn't even have extenders arranged. No, there is no oil that I can change. There is no engine. No, why is it? So I needed an oil change. No, an oil change is not needed. car manufacturer that makes a lot of ice engines and they probably just forgot ok they just ate this then you probably looked in the manual and said oh please ignore when it tells you to do the oil change we have had. wiring in the firmware and change it. I did not say that. This is what he said in the enemy. check your brakes check your first aid kit check your tires first aid you can check your wiper blades nothing to do now guessed maybe Audi put that in there to make you like oh no I drove to the dealer and get something I think it is probably just that Audi forgot I have to ask what engineers like to work on code, right?
He says, oh hey boss, okay, usually, you know, with gas cars and everything that we usually have like an oil change at 10,000. miles you want me to do it we don't keep that right because this is an electric car and the boss is like what i don't know anything about electric cars you don't put it away don't take it out listen to me we need that there they need to go get serviced. Should I just say service them? No, it should say oil change because you need your oil change. I don't think that's right, sir. I'm your boss.
They will listen to me. I missed it, how do you miss something? They just don't do a lot of V's. I bet the people in the Programming Department don't think about that, so Elon announced last week that there's going to be a Tesla company talk in April. held at the new york concert in buffalo now remember it's supposed to be an april battery and powertrain day do you think this will be that day i don't know i mean i feel like that's a lot of conversations to have in april if you have a day and this company talks good and they're going to have a battery day in California and we have this day I saw that I'm thinking this could be replace the battery day and this will become a bigger talk and I think you have to keep in mind that if that's true, they do different things in Buffalo, right?
They do solar glass and they do version three superchargers so would you be talking about that too? I mean solarizing the glass could definitely be a possibility, although it's called powertrain and battery inverter day, right? They don't do any of that there, so I don't know about that. we have buffalo you know so jaguar has hosted their i face production as of today because of well what's your guess? why do you think positive pause what what what does it feel like you gave me the wrong clue pause just think about it's an electric car they ran out of something flyers batteries ok they ran out of batteries they're going to take a week off while they wait for LG make more batteries they get electric cars now yeah and what they just ran out of yeah they ran out so keep going. keep in mind this is not a lot of cars we're talking about last year they sold 18,000 i paces to 12,000 in europe so and it's actually a big percentage they don't make a lot of jack cars anymore where you do so that this is a large percentage of their total output, but yeah, even with only 18,000 cars sold last year, that's not a lot of cars to make and they still had to stop while they waited for more batteries to arrive.
I feel like this was someone in the factories like hey look if I don't send this email to LG and they and they don't send us batteries we can all take a week off vacation. It's not our fault the batteries didn't show up, so Arizona-based Nikola. Motors unveiled its new pickup truck with a 600 mile zero to sixty range of 2.9 seconds wait wow great electric truck this is exciting it's that's more than that's more than cyber truck it's a fuel cell hybrid wait what battery electric vans wow wow whoa whoa whoa wait for hydrogen so remote cell try hydrogen fuel cell the stats are pretty impressive can we take a look at this yeah 600 miles fuel cell combined evie and battery electric 300 miles solo battery electric just ok that's good that's pretty good which has nine hundred and six peak horsepower which is pretty good 455 continuous horsepower mm-hmm nine hundred hmm nine hundred and eighty pound-feet of torque which is impressive one hundred and sixty kilowatt hours lithium ion battery wait what a hundred and sixty kilowatt hour battery pack I don't have I don't know what it would be like if it was the fuel cell I don't know and then a 120 kilowatt fuel cell which is a lot of power and has an assist of advanced supercapacitor launch what the Lenz with the lithium ion and the fuel cell so this is you think a supercapacitor supercapacitors you have them in the batteries okay you got me up a bit okay I mean I'm going to ditch from the fuel cell part but how much does this cost when it comes? oh I don't know what you're reporting on that I know they didn't tell us it's ok well I see pictures of it so it needs to be released uh no no no those are just you know the renderings with those are just so yeah its not a real truck oh thats just that when will we see the real thing?
So the presentation will be at the Nikola world 2020 event in September and you will be able to book then but we have no idea how much it will cost and just for a bit of history nikola motors you remember they dated the niccola well they didn't date him, they announced plans for a natural gas electric hybrid semi truck this was about four years ago sure and Nikola Mach Tesla when Tesla announced the Tesla semi saying it couldn't have that all electric range but Nikola Motors has raised almost a billion dollars So we'll have to wait and see.
I mean I like this because I think those stats will make Elon like become a little bit more competitive even more than what he already has maybe we get a checkered Cybertron regs how do you know something serious like oh yeah we put the cool rocket boosters in this one yeah and now you can know do backflips and stuff whatever now if you liked any of the stories you saw here today we have a Clips channel now you know clips we can watch much shorter videos because they're whatever we're talking about so if you wanted to share anything you just saw there's a clip for that on the eclipse channel now that you know it rolls out throughout the week so if you saw something that you liked it on this week's show it's coming out sometime this week and then next week show etc so I suggest you subscribe to that channel because there's probably going to be one of these stories that you're going to want to share and I mean, I know I might be saying look who am I going to share? put the clips on your facebook if you convince even one person that Eevee and renewable energy are good it will make a world of difference because just think about it if everyone on earth knew this if we knew that switching to renewable energy was going to solve a lot of the problems in the world if everyone knew we'd fix these things in a year.
Yeah, I mean you're part of an infinitesimal small fraction of a percentage of people with this knowledge and we've made the stories. on the show as shareable as possible, so if you can share a story and get just one person to change their minds a little bit, you've made a world of difference. you can send it to us, so make sure you shoot them in landscape mode, don't play them music and tell us in two minutes or less about something that's important to you in your corner of the world, let's see if we have this week, hi Zack. and jesse this is a day in everett from sanford in queensland australia at a classic car rally and i just saw this is a bubble car from the 60s and 50s at some point someone has converted to electric and if you can see the electric the engine will come this way they had to put the battery in the back seat very very good anyway that's what you know very well thank you very much for sending us that story and you can see it only takes a cell phone to film it. true and we weren't going to be in Australia at that particular time to capture that so that's the really cool part ofour video contributor stories ok it's time for our patreon bonus stories if you want to become a patreon of the show us and really support us for as little as a dollar a month.
Head over to patreon, sign up and you'll be able to see all of our patreon bonus stories every week. We have plenty for you and you can come back and see them all. It would probably take you longer than there is on the planet, right? And we know about four patreon bonus stories a month for your dollar. rant there you go so far off topic in patreon bonus stories you would love it and you know the backers if so if not you just went to bed after that really long patreon bonus story comment below let the people know how it was pretty good it was pretty good i think so ok and we have some shout outs for some of our sponsors so let's do it now bert harrison charles gibbs walker richardson your car angel alicia de marche mike electric future spike mark james Strom Sandra boss Ellie clumb surreal James West James forced David to watch Lucas and Joe kiemce Ekblad thank you guys so much you guys are the reason we can keep hosting the show ok it's time for Ellen's tweets of the week and this could be its own show because it's see you later yes we love a lot of tweets yes this first one is the midsection of starship booster tanks it's crazy that the CEO of a company could be posting pictures of propellant tanks and people realize huh yeah and in Deng said when are you going to switch to a custom alloy instead of the 301 for the starship on Elon? said probably six months or so 301 certainly ok for orbit but SpaceX 3o x will be better so they're going to make their own alloys yeah then Tesla hit the streets on the beautiful new solar glass roof and Elon said please let us know what improvements we can make to any Tesla solar glass roof look is much appreciated and Brian said more color options Elin said coming hopefully later this year and then Turin said it will not work in northern Alberta.
I think we'll still be better than a regular roof, but adding a heating grid to automatically remove ice and snow sounds like a good option. We already have it on car windows. That would be great. Thing is your car is fine as the wind the hatchback especially on the model 3 hmm it really doesn't have enough melting power to really melt all that snow ok I think you really want to take advantage of the slip yeah . well i think if you get it hot enough to get the coefficient of friction friction it goes there and it will slide off the roof because i mean the avalanche of solar panels we have here on the roof it will usually slide off the snow of the roof. a lot but we're not home we're not in alberta ok that's true but also the solar panels have some regular shingles underneath oh that catches the snow and if you just slide it Tessa Robbie goes out. the story that the Tesla Model 3 air suspension option was listed in the official Tesla parts catalog and Elon said this is incorrect there is no air suspension plan for all three or why only the S and X and the cyber truck have or will have air suspension so no excess bank if i go anything but emeralds for you bernie so i guess since andrew yang is now out of the presidential race it seems to me these two tweets show that elon is endorsing Bernie.
Elon first said ok you can have some emerald so I mean these are memes if you're not a meme a meme you're a meme boy I can understand how this might be a little confusing but I mean still my heart beating I mean, I mean, did you read the title? I know I know it was a joke but they're both Bernie I feel like this isn't a coincidence I feel like it's probably not a coincidence and then this tweet from all the HQ Ilan this is how much the $40,000 dual motor in Australia surely has to have we somehow can reduce this cost Giga Australia makes sense Tesla would be the only major car dealer in Australia considered this seriously Australians need this in Elon said it seems high now he might be thinking Australia is too small a market to build a Giga factory but we did some digging here, there were three million car sales in 2015 and they have a population of twenty four point six million people so a Giga factory could perhaps make sense and as many Australians pointed out in our last show vans aren't just a true North American flavor yes Australia would be a great place for specialist cyber truck lumber especially the ton of y'all who know the solar panel tonneau cover which could be a very popular option in Australia , oh and then this, thanks mom or how about this I love this is a picture of all the SpaceX employees who worked on the crew dragon so it's exciting.
The crew dragons are now headed to Florida for the launch and on Valentine's Day, of course, only the heart feels beauty. Wow, very deep, but this Tesla owner, Silicon. Valley, hi Elon, do you know if Tesla will increase the number of providers each service center has, especially in high-density areas like Palo Alto? I'll take measurements so cool and then Elon said run a physics that looks long enough and you'll get intelligence. I just want to point out that you have to make sure your physical assumptions are correct or else you won't get intelligence. then Ilan said the albedo of the satellites will drop significantly on almost every successive launch so they continue to make their satellites less and less reflective in case you've seen any of those headlines where it's like candy sectors blasting the sky night at all times. for community post time this i thought was so i mean look at the real people there right guys So that's David Einhorn, Jim Chanos, Gordon Johnson, and unfortunately mark Spiegel. you to Scott for sending us these amazing pictures that you took it's fully loaded live yeah also um we basically asked everyone who took pictures with us to send us pictures with you and you didn't yeah I know the most of you did not send the photos so that some people have amazing photos.
I know I know the handshake yeah I just want a picture of me shaking hands senators a cat now you know communication channel or on our Facebook or whatever thank you and then I found this on your app this tomorrow has a 2020 standard range plus model 3 in north america and got and noticed this app that says you could have heated rear seats for 300 bucks now i remember when we got our model 3 we got the heated rear seats automatically i guess because we bought the premium interior so I guess the mode didn't but I've never heard before that you could turn it on even if you didn't buy premium so it's a good money maker for Tesla if people get this option right because a lot of people have bought standard range perks so I mean the idea here is that the standard range plus you have the standard interior plus right so you have heated front seats heated front seats and heated rear seats that are just speed limiters software and different speakers I think the speaker was probably the biggest now I think they should turn on heated seats as an option only in cold weather and then it should be relevant in finish it should be temperature related as well as if as it does colder they charge more thats horrible ok thats the worst i ever heard ok its on air for question of the week and we do a whole show once a month where we answer all your questions on patreon like this that if you have questions if jesse and zach i have questions for you join us at the $4 tier on patreon you can ask as many questions as you want we will try to answer as many as we can each month with our questions on air no cut no cut so you can see all our mistake - ok so matthew said i heard used car batteries can be used in grid storage why is this the case from a physical point of view? why is battery good for network storage but not good enough anymore? for a vehicle great question so the idea here is that the battery could be used in a vehicle it's just that the range would be so limited you really wouldn't want to be dragging it around once you get your battery to say up to 70 or 60 percent so you've lost a lot of that range, yeah, so once you've lost a lot of that range, you're carrying a lot of dead weight, right?
So the idea of having it in one physical location all the time not having to drag it around means you're not losing anything really it's still a perfectly usable battery it just doesn't have as much energy storage potential but again it's okay if you don't they're going to move if you don't have to move yourself and so it's very cheap exactly because if it can't be used in a car and you can just drop it somewhere and use it as battery storage that's why it's perfect for That OK Signal For our survey results, we asked what a LAN should serve up at your house party.
Remember you're having a house party coming up so number one answer was Tesla Kela of course second was neural network chips. We had some good feedback from viewers. Bubba said Mars products duh that's nice and John said pangalactic Blaster gargle now for those of you who like Mars products Marsh like Mars Mars bars and all the other related sweets and you know just get back to the big discussion about sweets up there are only a few sweet companies in the world ok its time for our supercharger reviews and these are sponsored by our friends at Evan X looking for some amazing accessories for their Tesla check out Avonex and use our code discount to save even more that code is below in the description hi zack and jesse this is eddy reporting from the supercharger in kumar kumar is a small rural town between sydney and melbourne a bit inland this particular supercharger has four stalls in the that I'm currently charging 130 kilowatts which goes pretty fast but it flies in the middle of summer here wildfire season we're past here in Plaza full of shops including the supermarket we've got a guy there with a jerrycan filling up his car , we have the center of the city around here. so it's not too far you can walk there is a pub there for a feat and right behind me is a hotel.
I would say this supercharger because of its great location between Salutin Rob and I would give this supercharger a 9 out of 10. There are also nearby amenities excetera look at that's also a target I didn't even see that sign so now you know hi Zack and Jesse I'm greg from pennsylvania i'm in boyer city at the border town museum of historic vehicles charging my
tesla
model 3 that's my fifth battery electric vehicle here at the museum they have two 32 amp clipper creeks units and tesla destination chargers from 448 amp the museum itself is very interesting lots of Pennsylvania automotive history as well as electric vehicles they have a number of electric vehicles inside the museum many of which are over 100 years old as well as an old electric vehicle charging station and a very interesting place to stop.I highly recommend it. Also in town here in the area are several restaurants and pizzerias so plenty to do if you want. to pick up a couple hours of charging sound with the Allentown supercharger come check it out easily an 8 out of 10 hi Zack and Jesse here at the Holmen Travel Center in Grand Isle Nebraska what looks like eight superchargers nice remote control guy location if the travel center here in the back subway and Cinnabons and that kind of thing I just took the turn on a wheel and well I'm loaded with a car it's fun it's a little off the beaten path it's about a mile and Middle of Hwy 80, they even have an arcade in a little gift shop so that's my review.
I understand. i give this property an 8 out of 10. at the super charger in kingston ont its an 8 stall charger there are plenty of places to spend money but really only two places to get food which would be the restaurant inside the courtyard , Boston Pizza which is pretty good anyway hey stall loader and great location right off the freeway now to give it an 8 now you know right thanks for those yeah I love that part of the show well ok there are more superchargers so if you're like if you're bummed if you're like ah that Albany II wish I had reviewed that one first of all you can go we want as many super charger reviews as we can there are a lot that haven't been covered plus all the target chargers and here are some new super chargers that definitely haven't been covered yet on eight rank 250 kW at Meriden Connecticut rank eight 250 kW at WA Nanta New York rank eight 150 kW at Berlin Sweden rank eight 250 kW supercharger at Lafayette Louisiana rank sixteen 150 kW at Hilden Germany number 513 in Europe rank eight Supercharger 150 kilowatt at the Lee store in Sweden the 20th urban stall in South San Francisco California the style eight 250 kilowatt in Alexandria Minnesota number 775 in the US The 12th 250 kilowatt stall in Ossipee Florida now that's important because it's in the middle part of the state yes and number 23 in japan number 1796 in the world is the 8 stall 120 kilowatt supercharger in hiroshima japan ok it's time for our patreon giveaway now to enter in this big basket of fun.
You have become a patreon the more you support. we the more chances you get to win we will give away an eco shirt like this maybe whoever we have will be our winner this week because remember they are solar powered they are fully carbon offset and when you buy a shirt, we planted a tree so im D for reaching deep inside you reaching deep the winner is eric olson congratulations eric you go buy an eco shirt and you made it to the end of the show jesse and i was watching a masterclass before the show mm-hmm, it was Jeff Good B and Rich Silverstein, they're these creative experts, they're publicists, and it's really fun to hear their stories about how they got creative ideas for things. true, it's very interesting because you think that if you're going to hear something about someone in a particular field, then suddenly you'll be really good at that particular thing and it won't be applicable anywhere else, but the good thing about the master class is that in Rather than focus on similar details to do specifically with the ads you know, it's this kind of more general discussion where they talk about things they learned that apply to anything in life, so one of the things they learned was listen to their customers because they know we have this imagination of you guys know Don Draper from Mad Men which is like the customer never knows what they're talking about my driveway or the highway sort of idea so you have this kind of feeling like oh that must be how advertising men are these guys are how we listen they are like therapists to our clients you know we tell them what we think is a good idea they say we don't think it's a good idea we say oh why do you know it's to get to the deeper root and it's funny because it's a very similar discussion that I would have with someone who doesn't believe that V's are a solution I mean a lot of what they talked about is applicable to what we're dealing with to do every day that's why I guess I liked it so much because we're trying to get this message out to people who might not get it yet and it's like thinking of a different way to tell the story so they might see it differently , one of them threw the I don't know if you remember this, it was a Superbowl commercial, so if you're American, you probably remember that, even if you're in another part of the world, it might not be the Clydesdale donkey commercial where this donkey he wants to be a Clydesdale who pulls the Budweiser carriage but he was a donkey so obviously he wasn't a Clydesdale and he pitched the idea of three years in a row and I think that was a really important little nugget because sometimes you have to be continually persuasive about one thing in particular that you think you're right for people to sound like so in a boat of this show, right?
I mean we've been talking about the same thing for over three years and it's really been kind of like when Budweiser finally pulled the trigger and said okay to run the ad then it was a hit finally Tesla stock skyrockets the company what it is doing excellent to see one of our programs from more than three years ago when we are talking about the company nothing was certain, there was no model three, there was no Tesla glass that, like now, these things existed, but I mean that you cut back six months ago and there was a model three and it was just a matter of when, you know, but yeah?
I've been saying the same thing for three years, it's so nice to be able to connect with ideas with successful people with people you know, maybe you don't know who Jeff is, but there are a lot of different ones. people in the master class, so that's why we're connecting you, it's very interesting to see the people that you have a history with because you know that, in many cases, you've seen movies that they were a part of or you know a lot of different creatives. skillful people or masters they are all correct masters and what they do well and because learning from Masters is one of the fastest ways to learn a skill or trait and the idea here is that you don't know you're going to like putting all the skills together necessary but it's the experience that they really bring and it gives you the feeling that you can do well how I never leave these classes thinking that we will never be Morton Martin Scorsese I want to go I can make a movie well and that's kind of inspirational, the reason why Why we like the Masterclass is because it's the same kind of message that we deliver on this channel, it's just that we're not talented directors, musicians, basketball stars, business executives and authors and there are so many different people you can go see from anyway if you go watch it and decide to join it is quite supportive of us here on the channel and we would really appreciate it yeah so thanks for listening see you next week now you know
