was born daniel hernandez on may 18, 1999 was born and raised in the bushwick neighborhood of brooklyn new york and was raised by his mom and dad and he grew up next to his brother, oh yeah, and he's of mixed hispanic descent. in his stage name and it was his stage name before that he also has the number 69 tattooed all over his body most notably inked in giant block numbers on his forehead which is actually one of his most recent tattoos he actually has the number tattooed on his body more than 200 times according to takashi the number has something to do with his childhood but he's quite cryptic about what exactly it means he said 69 is just a lifestyle you know what I'm saying and it has a lot to do with how I got there. up you know what I'm saying I don't want to get too deep into what six nine is you know what I'm saying right now but I just want people to really like to understand so I'll let them know who I am. i'm the first one beforethey
know the six nine you know what i'm saying i'll be honest with you takashi i have no idea what you're saying anyway since he says the 69 has something to do with how it came out my best guess is what has anything to do with surviving difficult circumstances young daniel did not have a tv growing up he often went to bed so hungry his stomach made noises so loud his mother heard the grunts and cries he never had money for new clothes In fact, his mother once gave him a pair of shoes that she found in the trash and when he showed up to school with them, one of his classmates recognized them as a pair that he had thrown away, but despite his poverty, Daniel was a popular kid. at school he was a class clown he was never bullied and had the confidence to always be himself but things changed when he was 13 and a serious tragedy changed his life for the worse daniel's father was murdered just steps from the family home what made me rebellious you know i'm saying it made me mad i don't want to be a superhero i want to be how i want to be a villain villains never die superheroes always die after that daniel got into some serious trouble he started getting into trouble at school and, though he forgets which incident ended up being the last straw, he was expelled in the eighth grade when his father left. daniel's mom had even more trouble paying the bills than before so instead of concentrating on going back to school danny started looking for a job to help her pay the bills the first job he got was a job as a bus attendant at a local restaurant but it didn't last long young daniel was too weak to carry loads of dishes and ended up getting fired he would later find work in other odd jobs but since traditional work failed daniel to get the money he so desperately needed, He and his brother went into dealing drugs at first, just weed, while Daniel would eventually make a name for himself as a rapper. His musical tastes ranged across a wide spectrum with his early musical influences being of a totally different flavor listening to heavy metal bands like all that remains and parkway drive and embarking on his new family drug business daniel started spending more time than ever with his brother in which his brother was a metal band that further exposed daniel to the music of the genre, unfortunately the slingshot of drugs was not entirely positive at one point daniel had a job in a winery and the store owner caught him selling heroin while working at the store daniel made a bad call afterwards When confronted, he opted to punch the store owner, the cameraman laughs as a result, he would be accused of selling narcotics and assault and would pass some time on the notorious prison island rikers. call he needed from then on, he decided to stay on track even though this meant he would only find refuge by crashing into the basement floors, but there was something about takashi that would help propel him to internet fame. i have uggs on and i have all this you know i mean i couldn't afford it i wanted it i couldn't afford it growing up with so little money of course i could never afford to buy name brand clothes as a result she developed her own unique style, something that he would eventually use to his advantage to gain popularity on the internet.
Takashi claims that he initially had several popular Instagram accounts, but his account was repeatedly disabled for inappropriate content, as he said. I'm the king. before my instagram got deleted but his deactivated accounts wouldn't stop his images from going viral even before he started getting attention for his music he was trying out a rainbow of a different kind pictures of him in a t-shirt that says eat well he called the massive attention to the point where daniel was basically a living meme with more photos of him wearing outlandish clothes frequently appearing on sites like reddit, you might be wondering why he was using the letters hiv, luckily he was in no way getting mocking the disease. takashi had several friends. who were HIV positive and used to do the AIDS walk every year he continued to use the letters hiv outside of the walk as a way of raising awareness of the impact of the disease he also has the letters tattooed on his back takashi remains a big supporter of the safe sex to this day and has even explored the option of making their own line of condoms if you make them of course they will be the colors of the rainbow and have the numbers six and nine on them hire the rainbow try the rainbow now as i mentioned the six nine thing is still a mystery another part of his personal brand that he represents quite a bit is the scum gang which he explains a little more clearly the scum represents society he can't understand me and is a testament to who he thinks his young fans are social outcasts who are too often misunderstood by those around them children who like him have strong personal identities and do not conform takashi values this highly as he excelled in a personal style that would eventually lead him to become a recording artist stated takashi well i started rapping for fun i didn't really want to be a rapper or whatever i just started making music because everyone was like you you look angry cool we don't condone and violence is being done against women and children i don't we make. participate in that we don't respect that that's not what Scum Gang 69 is about as I mentioned in the intro despite being considered a SoundCloud rapper Takashi never started his own SoundCloud account and despite having created a fan base with YouTube videos, he never created his own. his own youtube account all he would do is make his music make his videos and post them via a channel called fck then which according to takashi is a label based in slovakia in fact takashi still has a huge following in southern europe this first time he performed live was during a tour in eastern europe in spring 2017 that first performance was a sold out show in prague takashi was only 15 years old when he created his first music video it was called six nine but unfortunately it was he removed from youtube in fact all his early videos were removed so apparently he is also the king of removing his videos from youtube. he sees massive numbers right away, but has since amassed nearly a million views.
He would garner more attention throughout 2016 with tracks like yokai and helsinki station in January 2017 he collaborated with jay stash and zen black to create exodia for all these songs takashi put a lot of effort into making his videos as cool as possible when it comes to making music videos he says he thinks he's the best at what he does despite the fact he also says he's not really a fan of his own music while his videos started getting attention takashi also started to get his fair share of hate but he managed to turn the storm clouds into rainbows not only does he write down his enemies as people who are helping to get his name out there but he also managed to make friends with beef apparently during a beef trippy red intervened with a public comment in support of a guy who was beating takashi right as soon as takashi saw this he DMed trippy saying he likes his music trippy replied back saying he liked what takashi was doing and Soon enough, the pair would be collaborating and their first collaboration would be a music video that would raise Takashi's profile like never before. receiving almost 20 million views on youtube takashi would also soon score a collaboration with famous mallets on the song zetta zero with 0.5 and trippy and takashi would go on to collaborate on other hit songs like oh we but before long there would be trouble in paradise the biggest scandal Takashi's career so far will begin with artist Zilla Cami, a former Tekashi associate according to Takashi back in the day he helped take care of Zillow during the summer of 2016 by giving him money for food and a place to sleep according to Takashi's management.
The dispute began with an incident during the filming of a video and also with the dispute over the use of some beats but in August 2017 Zilla told a very different story as Zilla Takashi was arrested for rape after sleeping with a 13-year-old girl. Zillow claims that he then posted bail to get out of jail for a whopping $20,000, which he never got the money back as proof of his alleged crimes. Zilla and other Tekashi detractors have circulated this image that appears to show Takashi with an underage girl. screenshot purporting to show his charges and the fact that he pleaded guilty, it should be noted that danielle hernandez is a fairly common name and it is not clear that this rap sheet is actually about takashi plus zilla kami no ha Produced a receipt showing that he actually posted bail for him, Takashi also tried to confront Zillah about the allegations outside a tattoo parlor, but Zilla refused to come out.
Look, Zilla, come outside. No, he doesn't want to go out. video in which he referred to himself as a happy rapist this is a happy rapist and i'm free after this scandal broke trippy decided to distance himself from the alleged legal rapist he picked me up i don't rape i don't do that you feel me i don't do it with girls babes you did it takashi of course he denies the whole statutory rape story he's had harsh words for zilla but his response to trippy red was a bit more gentle i don't know why you hate me so much. bro you lit bro you know what I mean your music is on bro you make money bro you still find a reason to hate me bro I don't but he seemed to work on a subtle threat to expose me hallucinated You know what happened. in l.a bro, you know what i'm saying, trippy red for her part didn't seem to be buying it.
I'm just letting it be known. choice you made and that's what you have to do despite the feud with the guy who helped cast it into the spotlight takashi pushed forward to find the light at the end of the rainbow released the song gummo on october 8, 2017 and at the time of this recording, just under a month later, it has already amassed over 15.6 million views. takashi was very proud of the song, calling it the second most popular song coming out of new york right now. play down cardi b so cardi b got the hottest record right now yellow as for the rest of the story well we'll have to wait and see why this is before they arecelebrities my name is michael craig thanks for watching this video there are two more videos suggested for you guys below you guys requested this one through my instagram and twitter so go ahead follow me there let me know who you want me to document next I'll see you in another video, touch the rainbow, taste the rainbow
