Taylor Swift's Team EXPOSES Kim Kardashian's Lies!
May 02, 2023Taylor Swift has publicly addressed that infamous phone call between her and Kanye West and now, so has Kim Kardashian! The tea is very hot guys... Hello everyone! This is Sussan Mourad with Clevver News and don't worry, Clevver isn't going anywhere! We'll keep bringing you all the celebrity news you need to know, we're just going to work from home and social distance to do our part in preventing the spread of coronavirus. Now, we told you yesterday that we'll keep you posted on any developments in the Taylor Swift/Kanye West/Kim Kardashian feud, and we've got a lot of them.
So let's jump into the tea. While the world patiently waited for Taylor to break her silence, she did it the only way Taylor Swift would, raising awareness for a better cause. Clearly, liking some REDDIT posts, subtweets, etc. wasn't enough for Tay, she said full-blown, "I'm going to tackle this head-on" as she calls attention to a greater cause. Yesterday, during all the commotion that was going on online over the leaked images, Taylor took to IG writing, QUOTE: “Instead of responding to those who ask how I feel about the leaked video images, showing that I was saying the truth all the time. about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that someone edited and manipulated to frame me and put me, my family and my fans through hell for 4 years).
Swipe up to see what really matters. The swipe up page brought Instagram users to Feeding America's page urging its fans to donate to the organization if they can. And it seems that the leaked video, Taylor's response, and Swifty's multiple comments on Taylor's posts were enough to fire up Kim Kardashian to speak out about the matter and defend her and Kanye's actions. In a series of posts on Twitter on Monday, Kim tweeted her version of her story that she started when Kim called Taylor "selfish." She wrote: "Taylor Swift has chosen to reignite an old exchange, which at the moment she feels very selfish given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now." She continued, "I didn't feel the need to comment a few days ago, and I'm actually very embarrassed and mortified to do so now, but because she continues to talk about it, I feel like I'm left with no choice but to respond because she's actually lying." .
Okay, this is very juicy and I need to do a welfare check on everyone! How is everyone doing with this back and forth so far? Are you surprised by Kim's claim and response so far? Comment below and let me know. But there's so much more, guys. Also, Taylor's publicist spoke up and WOW, we'll talk about all of that in just a second! Let's go back to Kim. He continued his spree on Twitter, saying: "To be clear, the only problem I had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist, who said that 'Kanye never called for permission...
They spoke clearly so I let them see that to everyone." . No one ever denied that the word "bitch" was used without their permission." He continued with another tweet that read: "At the time they spoke the song was not fully written yet but as everyone can see from the video she manipulated the truth of their actual conversation in her statement when her
team
said she" He refused, warning her against releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. "The lie was never about the word bitch, it was always about whether or not there was a call and the tone of the conversation." Kim went on to explain that she never edited the images, saying, "I never edited the images (another lie).I only posted a few clips on Snapchat to prove my point and the full video that recently leaked doesn't change the narrative." Clearly, the narrative doesn't change in Kim's opinion, because for many fans who have now seen the longer video, the narrative has changed. Kim then added, "To add, Kanye, as an artist, has every right to document his musical journey and process, just as he did recently through his documentary." Kim later said she recorded the call as part of the documentation process for Kanye and his album, saying, "Kanye has documented the making of all of his albums for his personal archive, however he has never released anything for public consumption and the call between the two of them they would have remained private or gone to the trash if she hadn't lied and forced me to defend him." He ended by saying that he will never touch this matter again saying, "This will be the last time I speak about this because honestly, nobody cares.
Sorry to bore you all with this. I know you are all dealing with more serious and important issues. As we all know, the Kardashian Klan always sticks together, especially when some kind of drama is unfolding; of course, they're family. Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter to support Kim. She tweeted: "I was about to go to sleep but then I saw my sister post a couple tweets. Wow! ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡!!!! But that was not all! Khloe tweeted a second time, saying, “Kim is my fucking lawyer for life!!!!!! My sister AND my lawyer.” Kendall, who is normally not as vocal as her older sisters, subtly showed her support for Kim by liking her tweets.
It's safe to say which side she's taking her on! But it does not end there, Taylor's
team
also ruled on the matter and the answer came in the midst of Kim's tweets. In response to Kim's tweet, we just discussed where Kim said QUOTE "Taylor lied through her publicist," Taylor's publicist Tree Paine tweeted, QUOTE: "I'm Taylor's publicist and this is my original UNEDIT statement By the way, when you take parts out, that's editing. PS Who did they bother to leak that video? With her tweet, Tree Paine attached the original statement she made when the drama broke out all those years ago.The full statement read: "Kanye he didn't ask for approval, instead asking Taylor to release his single “Famous” on her Twitter account. She refused, warning him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor never learned the actual lyrics, " I made that bitch famous." Phew! Lots of unpacking! So, it's clear that despite all the recent developments, both sides of this drama are standing by their word and their story. In case you need to catch up, Let's take a little trip back to 2016 when Taylor Swift, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian made headlines. During a phone call between Taylor and Kanye, Kanye was heard asking Taylor for permission to use her name in the line from his song "Famous." But after the song was released, Taylor said Kanye never asked permission for the line "I made that b----- famous." And soon after, Kim released a shortened version on Snapchat of her as fans caught wind of a much longer conversation.
Now, the entire conversation has actually been leaked exposing the entire 25-minute conversation between the two. At one point, Kanye even asks, "Okay, what if later in the song she also said, uh... 'I made her famous'?" But he doesn't mention what he planned to call her. In the full conversation, Taylor can be heard feeling a bit awkward as she chats with Kanye on the other line as he tries to brainstorm ideas with Taylor for her song. As he tries to prepare her for the line, he eventually reads her the treasured lyrics of the song that she came up with saying, "I feel like Taylor Swift might owe me sex," but he doesn't mention what her next line would be.
Taylor seemed to agree with the lyrics, even saying, "I'm glad it's not bad, I thought it was going to be like, 'that stupid dumb bitch.'" Later, Kanye finally shares the final version of the song, sharing "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex," while again stopping calling her a bitch. And, of course, fans on Twitter were overjoyed at the news of that not only did Taylor address the scandal, but she used her platform to promote something so much more. One fan wrote: "I LOVE THAT SHE USES THIS TO PROMOTE SOMETHING TO HELP US EVERYTHING GOOD WOW!" Another wrote: "This makes me respect her even more.” And someone else said, “Be the greatest person.
Yassss queen." While Taylor has normally been tight-lipped on this specific issue, she broke her silence on social media at the time, trying to clarify that Kanye and Kim were lying away and staying out of the spotlight for more. than a year and then emerged with his album, Reputation. She said in her statement at the time: "Where's the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me 'that bitch' in his It doesn't exist because it never happened... Even though I wanted to support Kanye on the phone call, you can't 'approve' a song you haven't heard," he said on his Instagram.
But of course. Taylor's fans were elated and even started the hashtag #TaylorWasTellingTheTruth to show their support. A fan wrote: "Anyone else surprised that Kim and Kanye did this? Not me." And others even started the hashtag #KanyeIsOverParty with another fan writing, "They literally got Taylor written off over this and want to switch sides like the damage hasn't been done yet. We all knew that there was no proof that she approved of the second line. This is no news. Kanye has always been a piece of trash.” And that, my friends, is tea for now! What do you think about all this drama?
