Super Mario Bros 3 - Hidden Secrets and King Messages

hidden

items in the game Super Mario Bros 3. Now, unlike my Isaac link, uh, episode that I made with weird items, this one goes very unscripted, so I apologize if I stumble over my words or something So. I'm going to be watching them and while I'm watching them I'm going to be commenting on it, so this is definitely an after comment, but I thought this was the best way to do it instead of trying to record comments while I was doing all this because I knew I wouldn't get it every attempt was perfect and it would take I made several attempts with some of these elements that I'm about to show you now, some of the elements, like the anchor, are very similar, they have a lot of history behind them because when I was a kid in the '90s and when this game was released in 1990 there was no internet i mean we were dependent on nintendo power and i don't even know if nintendo power actually produced an article or something that tells you how to get these anchors people just found them but i never found them one when I was a kid and when I got a little older I bought the game on Game Boy Advance and found them.

There are three in the game and that's just one of those special items that aren't really useful, but are for everyone. he just wants to get it, you know it's like that, you can say you found that item anyway, that's one of them and of course there are hammer brothers costumes, there are tanooki costumes, uh, there are frog costumes that are common and shit, but all of these are going to be played. Let's go and, yeah, let's do this, so our first item is the very well-known flute. The first whistle is at level one, three and is probably the best known secret

item in the game. It's very easy to get. I can see I'm rampaging around here, but you're the one crouching on this white block and for some reason the white blocks in this game have a special ability that allows you to stay behind the scenes and all you do is run behind and Bam you run into this toad, he hisses at you of course, I'm sure the power of Nintendo probably had something to do with this because I don't know how anyone else could find him in the past.

Our next item is, at level one, four, you have to get, I think it's 44 coins at this level. Now it can be a little difficult because some of the coins are actually hidden, but if you get them you beat this level and collect. 44 Coins Everywhere also shows you the two places where there are some hidden upgrades, but you get the 44 coins you beat in the level. A white mushroom house will appear. Now every world has one of these white mushroom houses and, uh, the odd numbers of the world. worlds, you get pea wings in the mushroom house and then even numbers, so two, four and six, you get anchors, and everywhere, like I said, every world has one of these, I was really close there, but like You can see here, some of the hidden ones. coins and you have to get pretty much every single coin in this level to be able to um, I think there are only 44 coins in that level, there may be 45, so you might be able to get away with it if you're missing one, But I'm not sure.

I don't remember well either way, I got all the coins that were in the level so we graded and there you have it, it actually looks like this is the Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros 3, so the graphics They are very Very improved, plus this house doesn't look white but rather blue and there we have our P wing and I say screw it, I'm not even a cut, I'm going straight to the fortress probably because of the uh. The second best known hidden object. I don't even know if it can be called hidden anymore because it is so well known, but this is it again.

We are on level two, two and this is another one of the levels where you have to collect all the coins, well, all the coins except one you have to collect, I think 22 coins in this one or 24 or something like that and this level has one more than you need to collect and it's kind of an easy level, actually doing this can be a little frustrating, it's easy if you have the raccoon suit but as you can see I have the one you really need to have. to go back here so you can press this switch uh p and then I should look you have to be quick although I pressed it too early there but if you can wait and then you can get these because even though you have them there are four more. coins here and I got three of them but it was okay because like I said you can lose a coin in this level and this will take us to another white mushroom house or in this case it will be blue but in the nes version.

It's definitely white and there it is and friends this is one of the very rare anchors such a cool item it really is it stops the ship from moving if you die on a ship so let's see where we go next no. We are going to find a secret area in world 2 that contains a mushroom house that always gives you a frog suit which we will save for later and there are hammer brothers and now these hammer brothers actually spit fireballs and you will see them. You have to use a hammer to get through this section, but this was also pretty well known.

I mean, almost all the whistles were pretty well known and everyone knew how to get them, so it's cool and here we are in the world. three seven now this is one that I didn't know existed until recently uh I thought it was a cool little thing I don't know why I didn't know this didn't exist but up here there's like a set of Clouds that you can bounce off or land on and there's like a hidden music box that takes you to heaven. Now they are in different areas of different levels, but they take you to these like heaven, where you can get coins, but. then you go back down to the level and you can finish the level.

This one is a little different because he actually gives you a treasure chest at the end with an item inside and like I said, I didn't know that. this until recently and it gives you a cloud that is useful for level seven four, which I hate that level and now we're going to move on to level three eight. This is another one of those levels where you have to get them all. The coins, the thing is that this level is a little more difficult due to the fact that that stupid fish there, uh, it's just that it's a very annoying fish, it responds very quickly and I have to be very careful, so it's better to get to this.

I level when I have firepower or something, so here I am, I'm trying to rush quickly. Most of your coins will be at the end of the level, the ones you see, I mean, there are I don't think there are any real coins to hit, uh, you just have to collect what you can, but most of it is about this level, most Most of the people are not going to look for the coins because of the fish, people just want to get this. leveled and therefore, which is understandable, especially where the last coin is, I mean, people are not going to risk being swallowed, you know, get some coins, but if they knew the risk, you would know the reward of the risk, then they could Actually I have tried to try it, as you can see now the next area goes underwater so the fish can easily catch you and you need to jump make sure you jump first and collect those coins so you can get out and that's it.

This can be a little annoying because there are flying fish everywhere and I'm pretty sure you have to get all the coins in this level as well. My suggestion is. Coming here and getting this block containing a star makes hitting the fish a little easier. You know, at least you don't have to avoid them, but there are all the coins you have to get to block the switch trying to avoid the fish, I didn't really care, I just wanted to get out of there and there aren't many coins there, but that one in It actually took a couple of tries because it started to get really exciting on my Nerves, but anyway, yeah, here we go, we've got all the coins there and we'll get another white mushroom house which will give us an anchor.

I haven't even used the first one yet. anchor because I don't really feel the need to anyway now we're heading to world five one five one it's a different world a different kind of secret uh it's better to get this with a wing p we have several spares anyway so I could Well , you don't have to use a P-wing, but it's easier to do it with one, so you'll go up and find this hidden pipe. Now you can go down and around and it will take you to a different part of the level, but if you can fly up here while crouching and then standing up like I did, with your face to the left, you will slide all the way down and be able to get a box of music, so yeah. let's go and finish the level now we will head to level five six, I think or five five, level five five and this is another level where we have to get all the coins and in this level I think you have to do it. get 44 coins again like i said i will post the amount actually in the description area you have to get these coins right here and also you get a tanooki suit which is awesome but you have to get it. those coins, so we have to go back a little bit and do a little tricky jump here, but nothing, nothing too difficult at all and then I think there's only one more coin left that we have to get and I lost my tanuki suit I was very sad , I was really trying hard to keep it in the right place, there's the only coin we needed, don't worry if you lose that sheet, there's one right there, okay, oh, anyway, yeah, it's not real, that one it really is.

Well, I should go ahead and show you that I entered the house. I'm pretty sure this mushroom house always gives you a hammer brother too now, as you can see I already have other hammer brothers too. I got it from the first mushroom house in In This World I didn't know you could get it from there, I had no idea, so I was a little surprised now that we're heading to level seven of world six. This level is a little bit harder to get the coins because you have to get 67 coins or 74 coins or something crazy like that and I think that's like all the coins in the level so you better go ahead and make sure you kill that guy because will get in your way. enter here with uh, you can enter here with a raccoon tail or something, but the thing is that when you come across the fire flower that's right up here, you have to grab it, which makes you jump a little bit. a little bit harder because you're going to need this a little bit later and you'll see why, as you can see, it's a moving level and these tricky jumps don't make it any easier.

Here I started to get scared, I thought oh no. I'm going to die very uh and here I have to have a lotBe careful not to hit that guy, but he just walks up to you, but now we're not done with this. It's the end of the moving section of the level, but now we drop down, you'll see all these coins and ice and you should have the firepower. to be able to obtain these coins. I originally did it on my first try or actually didn't do it at all. My first try, but the first time I got to this area without getting all the other coins, there is a hidden coin right there.

I thought the Hammer Brothers suit is very rare and this is the third one we come across and there are also a couple more in the next world and also, but on top of everything, Hammer Brothers 2 is quite powerful, so of course anyway now i often until the last and final level 7 2, this one took me forever, i hate this one, this one isn't worth it. time, but for entertainment purposes, I show it to you and to complete this, I get this coin. There is a coin. You can only do this with a frog suit. That's why I kept that world two frog suit.

You can only get this. in a frog suit grab all these coins and then you want to press the switch and you have to move like crazy to get this you have to be perfect because you mess it up you won't understand because the time is so oh my god my heart was beating so fast, the time limit is so short I mean, you have to do it quick anyway, now we can lose this, you can lose the frog suit and the thing is, I mean, how many frog suits are there? person will have to get into that level, you know, basic, most people will probably have one, maybe two, vaccines because that's all they have, you can't get that without a frog suit because the frog suit will give you It makes it a little easier to swim in the water, you know, but otherwise, I mean, I don't see how it's possible without a frog suit, so again, it's not worth the time and effort.

I hated that one that drove me crazy. I'm glad when I finally got it and I want to say it gives you a really good article because like I said this is an odd number world so we have a p-wing and the white mushroom house but we already have a bunch of p-wings and I . I think you get two more just in this world, uh, of like, uh, like they're not actually hammer brothers, like bonus levels. I guess you can say you get one from a bonus level. I think you get more of maybe something else, I don't remember.
