whole

I bought a vanilla orange coke without sugar. I rarely find them so when I make them I always grab one and Then I went ahead and bought one of my husband Mark's favorite monster drinks, this one is the low carb and sugar free one so I'll put it in the fridge and he might have it for breakfast tomorrow or something because he doesn't drink coffee.

Rolo is our favorite because it has caramel in the middle and you heat it in the oven just a little bit, just enough for the chocolate. To soften them a little, you take them out of the oven and put a nut of some kind on them.

Walnuts are my favorite and then it's an easy, delicious and easy snack to make in bulk so I thought I'd go ahead and make them. a bunch of those so we're ready to snack for the next few weeks, actually they probably won't last a few weeks to be honest we'll probably finish them within a week so I went ahead and got that and that's all I I got from Target. So all my errands are done for the day. I'm going to go ahead and prepare my shopping and all this stuff and then I need to start doing a little bit of editing on my video that's supposed to be posted today, which is Christmas and decorate with me, okay, psychology, I'm not going to start editing yet.
I forgot that I took out a chicken last night. I put it in the refrigerator because I need to make our dogs more dog food. It's been a few days and they just had their dry food and it definitely doesn't last as long obviously if you're only feeding dry food so I had a chicken in the freezer a while ago so take it out. I have it in the pot and I'm going to cook it on high heat, I'll review it in about two hours and then I made a video about this before, however, I make my dog's food a little different each time, it really depends on what I have on hand so this This time I'm using a

whole

chicken and I'll save the bones and for some of the extra meat and stuff I'll put it in the freezer and this has been something on my bucket list for a while , I just haven't done it.
I've already done it, eventually I'll make my own broth and try it in the Instant Pot, so I'll save the bones and stuff and then over the next few weeks I'll shape it. our onion and celery pieces and things like that that way I can make a broth, so that goes now. I need to change the clothes and I'm going to wait for the children's clothes. I'm going to have your clothes taken down tonight or today. after school and I start it then or I do it tomorrow for them, we'll see because I have some other things I want to do today, so my clothes are washed now I need to put them in the dryer, okay, I'm in the office and let me tell you I can't wait to have this office dinah, we have most of the furniture.
I think all the furniture we want here we just have to put together, we get a lot of it from Ikea and that's how it is. Now it's a mess so this is how I work when I'm in the office. I rarely use the computer. I could edit and stuff on the computer, but I have a laptop and it's easier for me. I've been editing here instead of in bed or on the couch because I definitely find myself more productive when I'm at a desk, so I have to move everything out of my way and work in a wicked corner like this because of this. piece, but my desk will be set up very similar to this one, which will be Marx and the Children, except it won't have this here, it will just be a flat space for me to have my laptop and my chair and all that, but in this moment the office is a big mess there, so some pieces I've already collected here.
I'm really excited to start putting it together, so I'm going to edit. I need to move my files. of this camera and the camera that I'm using now because I used both for myself undecorated and it's about 1120, so I'm going to have yogurt with granola. I didn't have breakfast this morning, so I'm going to have that because I'm going to have lunch later because I need to film lunch. Paige and I are going to make some vegetarian meals and I'm also drinking my coke, so I'm going to start editing some videos that way. I can go up today to eat my snack and I hope to be able to do so.
I don't know, these types of videos take a little longer, but I'm not going to do a voiceover, so I hope I can finish in an hour, let's see. Guys, I thought while I was editing I would take a moment to talk about skill sharing and I would like to thank you for

working

as a team with me during this part of the video. What is skill sharing? It is an online learning community for creatives where millions come together to take the next step in their creative journey offering thousands of inspiring classes for creative and curious people on topics including illustration, design, photography, video, freelancing and much more, As you saw me this morning, I was watching a cooking class or something else. knife skills, so they have a lot in that category as well and next on my list is all about interior design.
The class I'm taking is called Styling Your Space, Bringing Creativity to Interior Design and it's taught by Emily Henderson, I mean. With such a wide variety of skills to learn, you can join with two months of free premium membership with the link in my description box. If you're curious, click on that link and it will take you directly to the skill share and you can start putting your skills together. class list just like I have a huge list so this year I have some goals that I'm

working

on and one of them is to explore new skills and deepen my existing passions, which of those passions is YouTube, you have many. within that category as well, so the skills chair can definitely help with that, it's also incredibly affordable with an annual subscription of less than ten dollars a month, so like I said, extremely affordable and they get the two months free, so if you're curious, I have that link below, but now I need to edit this video, so I'm going to finish editing it.
I'll show you just a few of the steps I do and then I need to do some more work. today and get my butt moving before these kids get

home

from school, that took a little longer than I thought, it's been a little over two hours. I always forget how long it takes to edit some videos because I'm like in the Groove and I'm sitting there in one focus and I don't really pay attention to time, but since I told you guys, I was like, "Okay, let's do this in an hour," I was paying attention to the time and now it's more than two hours. later so I'm NOT going I don't know, I'm a little hungry today has been weird I think because of my allergies I can't taste much so I'm not very hungry.
I'll regret that later. I'm going to eat a lot of the snacks I'm going to make, but we'll see, so I'm NOT going to have lunch, it's just after 2:00 and now my clothes are done, so I'm going to fold them and then. we're going to make little snacks for the kids so let's do those two things and then I also want to clean out one of the refrigerators so our beverage refrigerator is in the garage. I don't know what would happen if it got too much. Cold, we had too many drinks in there before the holiday, it was full now it's almost empty but we had a coke explode and it's everywhere in there and I really need to clean it up so let's see if we can tackle it.
Those three things right now before I have to pick up the kids from the bus stop, okay, so I finished putting the clothes in and the bell rang and the chair rang and I'm gone. I ordered it for my small dresser, it came in and it looks shorter than I thought but when I sit on it it fits perfect because I don't want to be super high up and I didn't want it to let me show you, I wanted it low enough so you can see it looks like a bit. children's chair, but it is a small vanity stool.
I'll have a link below in case you want to see it. I just bought it on Amazon but I love the color and what I was saying was I didn't want one with a high back where I had to move the chair if I wasn't sitting to get into this drawer so I wanted it to be where I could push it down and if I wasn't using the chair, you know, do whatever during my night. routine like I have my little pads here if I'm doing my hair I didn't want to have to pull out the chair so I wanted to be able to push it down so I love that yeah much better than the one I got to Target and came back today so I'm really excited about that, but I'm done doing the laundry, so let's go ahead and start snacking first, that way we'll have time to freshen up before the kids get

home

or get home and then we'll get the refrigerator ready, okay, so these are three ingredients and they're pretzels and then whatever kind of topping you want.
Some people like color-coded M&Ms for parties and stuff, but I'm just going to make nuts, so you're going to take it. a cookie sheet, cover it with aluminum foil, okay, I'll set it up with two early. I have a lot of these little pop-ups. She $5,000 for you, so let's use these. You could use parchment paper if you wanted. the only thing you're going to put on the sheet is the pretzels and then I'm going to show you a couple that don't take a lot of prep time, like the top, the thing that takes the most time is unwrapping all the Rolo, so I'm just going to take a pretzel on a Rolo like this and I'll line your cookie sheet.
You're not going to put the nuts in yet, so I'm going to keep doing that and fill my pan and you want your oven to be at 250 degrees because, again. We're not trying to cook or bake anything, we're just softening it into the chocolate, we don't want it to completely melt and spread everywhere and once you have the baking sheet completely filled with your pretzels and Rolo, you're going to be cook it for two or three minutes and at least mine just takes that line and cooks a little bit faster so keep an eye on it but I would start to stare at it, I wouldn't actually even leave it, I would just stare at it.
Leave it until you can see it starting to soften and get very shiny because again you don't want it to melt you want to take it out of the oven as soon as it starts to soften that way you can put the nut on it and then they're done okay here's a tray . I could do more later. I have a lot of rolls left over, maybe other pans are worth it, but I'm going to make one right now so my oven is preheated to 250 and again I'm going to keep an eye on it and it should only take a couple of minutes so I'm going to turn on the light and keep a Keep an eye on them, can you see how they're starting to droop a little?
Let's get them out. They are super shiny and you are only going to take one packet, be careful you don't want to burn your finger and just press it down that way the roller really sticks to the pretzel, it will be a little hard. I'm going to have to push it a little bit oh no, okay, this one is going to be backwards without, oh, snap, okay, I can't do this while I'm filming so I'm going to finish the rest of these, but that's what you're going to do. to do just press them. I'm going to eat that one and then let them cool and they will be a nice surprise for your kids as an after school snack.
Okay, so the snack is cooling and the chocolate needs to harden. We're going to clean out our, we call it our beverage refrigerator because that's pretty much all we keep in here, so let me show you. I think I need to clean it up, yeah, so I need to clean this up. Can you see the coke there? splashed look that just exploded asoda exploded everywhere so yeah, I need to clean this up. I'm just going to use a damp cloth and then I'm going to put everything back in and then I still have this box of bubbling sparkling water that I need to get in here.
I just took it out and put it in a glass with ice to chill it, so it will be better to have it in the refrigerator, but we are slowly tapering off. In fact, we'll be picking these up for Christmas. because I have several because I have several family members that like Pepsi, but since we had to cancel that, yeah, because the kids got sick, that's going to be here for a long time. I need to see if anyone wants that or give it to them. Some members of my family like Pepsi because we're not going to drink it, yeah, and the bad thing about having a refrigerator for drinks is that if you don't have some things in it, you forget that you have them, so I have this vacation.
Nog but I don't think it will expire for a while so I need to check it out at the end of this month 126 20 so I haven't even opened this to try it so Paige and I are going to try this out to see if we like it. Hopefully we do, yeah, and other than that, we just have some leftover alcohol from the holidays, juice boxes for the kids and that's it, no more coke, the zeros brand is out of their monsters. I have this left, this won't last more than a week and a half, maybe two weeks tops depending on how much Paige and I drink every day.
I usually drink like three a day. I know I need to upgrade and drink regular tap water or whatever, but I don't, so I'll move on. Yeah, I just need to use a damp cloth because that. It's coming out really well, so I'm going to go ahead and clean this up and hopefully make it look ooh, that was gross, so I might as well get this right. We'll do the sides first and then the shells, so let me get all of this. nasty, clean, good, the refrigerator is clean, I have my waters in there. In fact, I'm going to have one, and every once in a while I'll see that I haven't tried the black bear yet.
I'm going to post my video. hopefully or at least scheduled to post later because I only have about 30 minutes before I have to get the kids from the bus stop okay guys so it's a little later it's almost five o'clock to 55 , so the kids have been home for a while. I uploaded my video. I ended up making two snack trays and you can see that's actually as many as I put on there, but this one is missing a few so the kids had it like after school. snack they loved it obviously super easy and delicious and then I sat with them they did their homework and now everyone is having electronic time so Rose and Pearl are playing on the computer and Bryce is upstairs watching, yes I know he's not playing. a game, he's watching YouTube on his TV, so the dogs, I don't know if they've barked yet, but they're waiting at the back door because I'm giving them dinner, so I'll show them the chicken, but I understand.
Lots of comments so I made sure the chicken was ready. I used my little thermometer there and then this is a cup of dry food that I buy at Costco and then here I normally rarely use a bone-in chicken just because that's what it is. make it a little harder, but I wanted to use the bone, so I would use a hand mixer to mash it up and get it all ready and then add the vegetables, but since this has bones, I used a fork and just chose what am I going to give them for this one? night, so I'm just going to eat this and watch it.
I don't measure, I'm going to have this and I'm going to give everyone a little bit in their bowl and then I'm going to grind up the rest and take the bones. I take it out and then put it in a big bowl in the refrigerator so it will last the rest of the week for the dogs and then the vegetables are a little different. Sometimes I add rice, if we have that right, if we are going to eat rice this week, I would have done it. I cooked a bunch and then added some to the dog food, but we don't eat rice, so dogs don't eat rice, but I found half a bag of green beans in my freezer, so I went ahead and didn't cook them. until the end because I don't want it to get hot for you, but I'll give you a little bit of this and it will mix with the rest with the chicken and this will be the best for the rest of the dinner. of this week and voila the dog food is ready and look at you both there waiting for it oh man I need to clean these back windows so let me go ahead and give them their dinner and then we'll do some more. tonight is fine, so Rose and Pearls' laundry basket is full enough for her to do a load, so Bryce Bryce doesn't have much in hers, like Rose and Pearl Board, several outfits during the winter holidays every day, as if they change a lot, so this is about a week.
It's worth it so I'm going to go ahead and start doing the laundry and then I'll do Bryce's tomorrow for dinner tonight we were going to make breakfast for dinner this weekend but I'll do it today just because we don't have a We already have a lot of breakfast things on hand so we always have pancakes on hand or muffins, some kind of easy things that I can heat up in the morning for the kids and then we've also had kolaches on hand because the kids love them. her over Christmas break we went through all that, I think we have chicken nuggets as far as leftovers for lunch, but everything else we had Bagel Bites pizza rolls, what else did we have?
We had kolaches, we had Coach Joe's mini pancakes. I feel like we had a ton more, we had personal size pizzas, like all that is gone. The kids went through all of that during their two week break, so I'm going to go ahead and batch cook a few things just to finish this week for breakfast. the kids and then they prepare some food for me for lunches, so I'm going to do Q. I don't know how much I can get out of here. I think I can make two batches, so I never make the amount it says.
I'll try to make at least 12 pancakes, if not more, we'll see. I'm going to go ahead and boil them all because my kids love hard-boiled eggs and one day I'll make myself egg salad for lunch. this week and for Mark as well I'm going to go ahead and cook this so whoever wants them for dinner tonight can eat some and then I'll have it ready for the rest of the week for breakfast and for Paige. She loves this stuff too, so I'm going to cook. We have a little bit left in this bag, so I'm going to go ahead and cook this for tonight and then it'll be ready for the rest of the week in the mornings. and then I'm going to make these two packages of bacon that have been in the refrigerator for a while, they're still good, they don't expire until the end of January, but I'm going to go ahead and cook them for tonight. and then the same thing, what's left over, there will be some left since two packages will also be good for the rest of the week, so let's cook some breakfast for dinner.
Hey, first I'm starting with the eggs and of course I'm using my instant. pot, so a cup of water, make sure you have a trivet, then place all the eggs inside, the number of eggs does not matter, we will have the same amount of cooking time, closing the lid, make sure it is sealed, not vented, and then I'm going to cook mine manually, which is the same as high pressure for five minutes, okay, while the eggs are cooking. I'm going to make the bacon in the oven because I'm using the skillet for these items and I'm going to cook.
I also make some over-easy eggs, so I need larger molds. I have a lot, I mean a lot. I have about four small ramekins, but I only have one big ramekin and I like my bacon to be fat-free, so I have these. A couple of these are like little racks, so I put all the bacon I could in there, so this is a package deal. I had fifteen slices, so it's okay if they stick together, the world will crumble them anyway, half, whatever, so I'm going to Cook these on these, obviously they'll sit in the bacon grease that cooks as it cooks , but I have my oven at 400 degrees and I'll put them in for 15 minutes and I'll look at them and see if I want them to cook. longer or not, the eggs are ready.
I'm going to let them release naturally for five minutes, so I'm not going to twist the mouthpiece or anything. I'm going to let it sit for five minutes and I'm going to start mixing in the eggs. pancakes I love cooking pancakes on my griddle just because I can eventually make more on there. I have my eye on a griddle that sits on top of the oven or stove, I mean, but for now I don't need it because I have this and I love cooking pancakes here because I can easily get six here, sometimes more depending on how small ones I make them so for this packet all you need to do is mix it with water however my kids love it when I add a little bit of syrup flavoring here it's so good I like it too so I'm going to add three cups because I'm doubling this.
I'm going to add three cups of the mixture. I'm going to add 2 and 1./3 cups of water and then I'm going to add 1/3 cup of syrup and then I'm just going to mix it together and then I'm going to use a quarter cup of the mixture for my pancakes so this is just for me to serve my pancakes. I'm going to go ahead and mix all this up and start making the pancakes while I wait for the eggs, okay, it's been five minutes, actually let me turn this so it's not under my cabinet, there we go releasing the rest of the pressure.
I already have this all mixed together, it's actually starting to thicken already, but when you first mix it for the birch benders it will at least be a little runny, so let it sit for a minute and then it should thicken up a little. a little bit and if you don't add more or if it's too thick it obviously adds more liquid so I'm going to let it sit for a minute to thicken up and while you're letting it sit I'm going to go ahead and get a bowl with some ice and cold water for my eggs, okay, I forgot I made more than a dozen eggs, so this one is big enough, it's a little small, I just use tongs to take my eggs out and put them in the ice bath and then I'm going to let them sit here for about five minutes or however long it takes me to make the first batch of pancakes and then I'll come back and peel them and that's all good, so I'll have my griddle at about 300 degrees after I do that.
In a couple of batches I end up lowering the temperature a bit, but this temperature has been fine for me so far. I sprayed some avocado oil spray and made sure it thickened a little, so I'm just going to wait. Feel the heat, but I'm going to wait another minute and then we'll start making our pancakes. You're okay, so I got distracted, but these are the most beautiful pancakes you've ever seen. Yes, this is what happens when your children start arguing. something and you walk out of the kitchen while you're making dinner, yeah, okay, the bacon is ready, the pancakes are ready, I'm about 20, you guys can probably hear the kids in the background, they found the box my dresser came in and they're having a good time pushing each other around, I just threw them in here, so I've got them on medium heat, a little bit of olive oil on the bottom and I'm going to cook them until they're a little bit crispy, not extra crispy. but just a little bit and then I also found this in the freezer.
There was like a small handful of peppers in this bag so I just added them in there and then I love picking them up every time I go to Trader Joe's, they are so Okay, this is going to cook and then here I have the chicken sausages from Costco cooking ooh, that was hot and then I got the hard boiled eggs. I don't know if anyone will eat one. Rose is probably fine with her dinner. She loves it. I mainly went ahead and prepped them for snacking the rest of the week and to make egg salad for lunch because I'm also going to make some sunny side up eggs so let me go ahead and defrost this block of frozen peppers. a little bit and then we'll cook some eggs too, okay, I was right.
Rose doesn't want an egg too easy, she'll have a hard-boiled egg, but I'm going to make one for Bryce and Curl and then I'll make two for myself and we'll see if Marc Oh wants some, he's not back from work yet so we could eat tonight without it, we'll see it's 6:20 right now, okay, I can totally feel like I didn't have lunch. So yeah, we're using paper plates because look at all these plates, turkey paper plates, so I have two pancakes. I tell myself they're not huge, so you know whatever, and then I have four sausages and I can...
I made it easy, these are medium because I think too easy is when you don't turn them, but I turned them to make them solid on each side and then I have the peppers and potatoes under the eggs because I like to cut my eggs and mix the yolk with the potatoes and peppers. Mmm, so this is my dinner tonight and definitely a family favorite when we have breakfast and then we'll have plenty of everything left over to last us the rest. from this week, alright guys, here are the leftovers, taking out this pan just in case, mark months to prepare an egg to go with your dinner because it definitely eats a little bit of structure than me, so I don't know if it will have any. of the potato so I can have eggs, sausage and bacon, but now I need to unload the dishwasher and load it and then wash them.
I have those that I'm going to put in a little bag so I can clean this one and then I still need to finish the chicken todogs and put it in a bowl for the rest of the week, so yeah, I have a lot of dishes and things to do, oh my goodness, okay, hand wash. I just started the dishwasher so I can Finish with me, finish for me tomorrow, yes I hate doing the dishes, but at least they're done. Side note before we say goodbye for the night. I took a calendar that, like every day, has some kind of holiday or something new is celebrated. every day and today is bubble bath day and I was like, "Okay, yeah, I could totally take that, this is how I'll do it on the ninth.
Rose and Pearl are putting their clothes on, they're all clean, like "I already mentioned." Tomorrow I'll wash Brice's so after school he can put his on and I'm exhausted I'm tired I can fill my eyes my allergies starting to sting oh I hate it I feel like they're always worse at night and I don't know what I'd prefer or worse during the night day, where I feel like I can't do much, or worse during the night, where I don't sleep much. I don't know, but I think a bubble bath is exactly what it's called. Just what is needed today for the end of a very productive day.
There were a few things I didn't finish, but I can always work on them tomorrow, so thank you all so much for hanging out with me today and giving this video a big shout out.
