Feb 27, 2020
Hey guys, check here and in front of me I have an amazing pair of headphones. These were highly requested on the channel and I finally have them in my hands. These are also possibly the worst named headphones in the

world

. These are the Sony WF 1000 x. m3 s and are only rivaled in bad naming conventions by their older brothers, the

sony

wh 1000 can do inside the box, the first thing you'll see is this neat little carrying/charging case and that's how most wireless

earbuds

are made these days once you lift up the cute little Sony logo.

I now have two

earbuds

, these are currently charging, you can see by the red lights on either side of the earbuds as well as the charging indicator here on the front right next to the NFC logo, from what Sony claims which is right here in the box. total of six hours of battery life from the earbuds themselves and then inside the charging case, once you put them back in the charging case to charge you get an additional 18 hours from the case, so the way this works is once your earbuds are When you run out of battery, what you do is you put them inside the charging case and then you close the lid and then that charging indicator right on the front will light up and that tells you that your earbuds are charging.

More Interesting Facts About,

sony wf 1000xm3 earbuds review silence the world...

They are carrying, of course, the case itself as well. one battery, so two run out in, like I said, about 18 hours, so once that runs out, you have a USBC connector right here to charge your case, so you charge the case, which in turn charges the headphones. The case is a little bulky but it's not as bulky as the power beats pro case, now they look similar from side to side, when you really notice it is when you flip them like this or this is kind of a square and this is a rectangle, there's not much difference there.

In dimensions, however, when you pick it up like this you can clearly see that the Power Beats Pro case is much thicker or much taller and the problem with that is that once you put it in your pocket it sticks out like a really sore thumb. Otherwise the way the earbuds go into their case is quite intuitive, they are held on by lots of magnets and it's very simple to just pick up the earbud and drop it in there, it fits very well and you can just take it. So the way it charges is there are three little pins here that line up with the three little pins here and I've never had a problem getting those pins to make contact every time the headset goes into its case, there's absolutely no problem. charging, so on both sides of these headphones you actually have a circular touch control, that's what these little circles are on both sides and they act as media controls and sound mode control.

The left one controls the sound mode by default and the right one controls the sound mode. one by default controls media playback, so if you want to pause your music one tap, if you want to play again one tap, pretty simple by the way, it will also ring in your ears depending on which one you tap and what you're doing . So if you pause my music, for example, you'll hear a little beep and if you play your music you'll hear a little beep, which is nice because it gives you feedback that tells you yes, you actually pressed the touchpad, so that's cool. .
You can also accept calls by double tapping and you can activate Siri or Google Assistant by simply pressing and holding for a few seconds, so I think the main thing you'll be interested in when talking about these headphones is the active noise cancellation. feature now, there are actually three different sound modes built into these headphones, just like the big brother, the WH 1000 XM three, and the way it works is that as soon as you put the headphones on, you can choose between three modes that can be alternated with that word alternate. Anyway, I'm using it and you can toggle it by pressing the touchpad on the left earbud by default.
Anyway, you can set it up through the app and I'll talk about that in a second, but if you tap this once you're. you will actually hear a chime that will say noise cancellation, it will actually say one of three things: first it will say noise cancellation and it will go into ambient sound mode and then it will go into ambient sound off mode and those are the three different sound profiles, so the first noise cancellation will almost sound like you're being sucked into a vacuum, most of the sound around you is absorbed which is a really cool feeling when you first put them on, it's like oh wow.
I can barely hear anything, which is really cool, it won't cancel out everything, although it does a less good job with human voices and things that change pitch very very quickly, however it sounds more static, like airplane noise , the noise of a car, you know if you're on a train, you're in a busy area, that kind of thing with vehicles passing by, it will do a very, very good job, with the next mode down is the ambient sound mode and this is also a really cool mode and basically what that's going to do. It's the opposite of noise cancellation, it will use the built-in microphones to pick up sound from everything around you and then shoot it into your ears, it sounds like you're not wearing headphones, I mean you can obviously tell because they're in your headphones and you sound a little stuffy, but it sounds a lot better than if you just said you put them in your ears and they were off, which is really good if you don't want to take them off and you want to talk to someone or you're making a phone call or something, you'll be able to listen to yourself and it's a lot easier to talk or listen to another person who you know obviously wants to talk to you, so that's great. well the third mode actually isn't really a mode it's just turning off the other two modes, you're not in noise canceling mode so it doesn't cancel out the sound around you and you're not in ambient sound mode , so it doesn't pick up the sound of everything around you, so I don't use the third sound mode very often, but it's nice to have it there in case you don't want to use the other two modes now, from the point of comfort view these things are actually pretty good, they feel very comfortable in the ears even though they look a little chunky on the thick side but they are actually pretty comfortable depending on what tips you use now, for me personally There was only one tip that really fit.
My ears properly and they made a good seal and that was the biggest tip. They had the biggest dodgy tip they could make and it's almost the size of the actual stem here and that's what fits my ears personally. The different tips are pretty cool. foam tips and silicone tips and the silicone tips I find are a little less comfortable but they seal better and have a much harder time coming out of your ears than the foam tips. Now the foam tips are very comfortable in comparison, but I think Now they come out of my ears quite easily, that could be due to the shape and material.
I'm not sure exactly, but I like the feel of the foam tips better, but I like the security of the silicone tips. plus just another little note on comfort, while they are comfortable, I wouldn't necessarily call them the best headphones for athletes and the reason I say this is actually for a couple different reasons: one, they don't have hooks, which means which are by default are much less safe on your ears. I don't find them terrible in terms of you know, they stay in my ears. I just put them on, if I shake my head, they don't feel like they're going to fly out or anything, they don't feel like they're going to fly out of my ears, which is good, they make a good seal even though they're still not good for running or do any type of really intense exercise. because I find that the headphones actually move around your ears, you see how big this outside part is, here you know, the weight actually moves up and down when you're running and you can hear it coming to your music and it's very annoying when you're running so I wouldn't necessarily recommend them to athletes so I would recommend the power beats Pro for a couple of reasons like I said the outside of this one is much smaller and the ear hooks make them never come off from your ears and they don't move at all either, which is great.
These headphones sound great, although they have a very similar sound signature to the WH 1000x m3, which is very good. Overall I found that these headphones have a very flat sound, there is not too much bass or too much highs and the mids are pretty good too and that is what I found with these headphones, however I found that once you turn on the noise canceling you lose a little bit of that high end, don't get me wrong it's not terrible by any means and even with the noise cancellation on it still sounds a lot better than many other wireless earbuds i have tried in the past but you lose a little bit of that range high, so keep that in mind and that finally brings us to the price.
Now these headphones are not cheap, they cost around $300, which is not much less. then the WH 1000 XM three are and these are. I think they cost 350, but they are getting cheaper. You can find them now on Amazon. They have actually been sold several times for around 280 so you can get them for cheaper than these and in my personal opinion depending on who you are there are a couple different scenarios where you would buy these or these but in my personal opinion if i had to choose one of these either the WH 1000 X y tres or the WF 1000 I think they're a little more comfortable now if I were a person who travels, if I traveled a lot, you know? traveling to work if I was on a bus or train or something like that to go to work every day or go to school or anything else I think I would probably stay away from these and go for more because they are they are so small that they can fit inside out of your pocket with these and the noise cancellation is definitely good enough to help you out.
You know your journey. If you are interested in trying the WH 1000 X m3, I will now have links to those. here or here because I've done a lot of different tutorials and videos and stuff like that so definitely check them out because they're definitely worth it if you're interested in a pair of headphones so tell me what if you think the Sony w 1000 X and 3 are definitely a really cool pair of headphones and if you're looking for a pair of wireless noise canceling headphones, these are probably the choice for you so if you liked this video please.
