Some Redstone Projects are TOTALLY POINTLESS..

May 05, 2020
As you know, I create a lot of Redstone gadgets. I personally think Redstone is one of the most useful items in the game. I mean, it allows us to create storage systems, which classify items by themselves. Furnace foundries that are super fast and potions. brewing stations that will prepare the potions for us. Is incredible. But there are also a lot of

redstone

gadgets that I personally work on that could be argued and be a bit useless. Let me explain now just as a quick disclaimer before we get started, just because

some

of this stuff doesn't make sense.
some redstone projects are totally pointless
Does not mean that. In fact, they're not really great, in fact, in my eyes, the more useless, the better I love working on useless Redstone gadgets. And I will continue to work on useless Redstone gadgets because to me they are probably the most fun lighting systems I build from lighting. The systems of my time and most of them are based on the premise that when you enter a room, the lights turn on and when you leave said room, all the lights go off. That's how it works in real life, so why shouldn't it? Doesn't it work like that in Minecraft?

More Interesting Facts About,

some redstone projects are totally pointless...

Good. It's because in real life there is no chance of this kind of thing happening when I turn off the bathroom light. There's no chance that when I walk in the next morning and turn on the light I'll be greeted by a witch in there. It's just not about how it works, it's as cool as this. I press this button here and it turns on all these lights in a lovely, soft way. Kind of doesn't work at all, right? Because when things get dark, things also get dangerous even though I just said that this design is meaningless.

I'm actually pretty happy with how I've managed to run it now. This is actually inspired by my recent 1x1 pixel display video. All we have is a chain of observers causing updates. More observers detect those updates and send them to all Redstone lamps. Works. Well guys, before I do this, I just want to make sure that I can trust you because I'm being very serious. You can't tell anyone about this, okay? I have hidden

some

thing extremely important in this area and I really don't want anyone to find it because it is incredibly valuable to me. It is a craft bench.
some redstone projects are totally pointless
I've hidden my crafting bench now. This is a big trend in the Minecraft community. I have personally uploaded a ton of videos of different hidden craft bench designs. There are all kinds of different tutorials on YouTube on how to build cool hidden crafting benches. And I've even gone a little crazy with and billed absolutely huge, fancy designs for them. But if you take a step back, it's a bit useless, right? I mean, let's be honest. Who wants to hide a craft bench? Keep your dirty hands off my crafting bench right now, what you see in front of you is a very large piston elevator, relatively expensive and also time consuming to build, if we wait inside this mine cart and press this button , start to be launched. by the slime blocked and it's quite fun.
It has a great design and works reliably on servers. Personally, I love this thing, but let's be honest. It's not the fastest thing on the planet. In fact, I'd say a ladder wouldn't be much slower than this. But there are also much faster and cheaper designs, for example. The old right-click mine cart design and when you start to get into the realm of these types of piston lifts, which is clearly extremely complicated? It's also very slow and only carries you about five blocks total, then you really start to reach the realm of useless. But as a fun fact, this is one of my most viewed lifts on my YouTube channel, so I guess you guys like useless. stuff Oh gosh, this is going to ruffle some feathers.
Piston doors now. I love building piston doors. I've built tons and tons of piston doors; In fact, I'd say about 10% of my log videos are based on piston doors, but let's be

totally

honest. Is it as good a job as this, if anything? This thing is worse, it takes longer to open, it uses tons more resources, and you can't see through it. I don't know if that's positive or not. But I went into that list thinking I had three items, I could only think of two of them, so that was the one I wanted. Well, I don't write these videos.
Words aside, I'll add that this is like comparing a Peugeot to a Ferrari 250 GTO. Both. Some of them will take you to the supermarket, but one of them will make you look really cool. It's the Ferrari 250 GTO. I felt that was evident. But I just wanted to clarify it quickly in case anyone with the satellite gets confused now. Another thing I personally love building in Minecraft is combination locks; in fact, some of my first Redstone videos and some of my first Redstone

projects

that I did in Minecraft were combination locks that tried their best to create combination locks with the highest number of combinations. , but let's be

totally

honest.
Well, when you build a combination shot, you're relying on confidence. You're relying on trust because you hope that the player who breaks into your base and finds your combination lock won't. They think to themselves, huh, yeah. That's just I assume it's a pretty good combination lock and then they break the blocks off the door that the combination lock is intended for. Keep protecting the items and I'll run out of your base now because I have a pretty positive outlook on Humans in general. I like to think that most people aren't bastards and will do everything they can to control the combination lock.
I like to think of this as a gentleman's rule bill, however, that's not the case, is it? I'd say nine times out of ten you'll end up with a hole in the door. The situation doesn't matter how many millions of billions of possible combinations you have. Nothing is going to beat the peak. One thing I like to install. Many of my bases are Endor stations. And what do they do? It allows you to obtain a full stack of ender pearls with the press of a button. You see, we pressed it there. And then we get exactly sixteen that shoot out once we pick them all up off the floor.
Now these things are really simple. They consist of wood. button for droppers and then three

redstone

torches three blocks on a piece of redstone - set up in this formation It takes seconds to build a person, don't you think they look really cool, but I mean that was faster, I don't know It looks so good, and if they were rated in spec, it would have been even faster. You don't really need something like this. I mean you only have ender pearls in a chest and you can pick them up when you pass? And the problem continues with another of my favorite Redstone gadgets.
If you have seen one of my piston houses. You are guaranteed to have one of these and I have to say this is a really cool design as you can see right now. I'm completely naked, but if we stand on this block and press this button, I'm completely dressed and I look very, very good. I've built tons of different designs for armor equip stations, most of them with pistons, double extenders, triple extenders that fire. armor droppers. There are a lot of crazy things happening. This is probably one of the simplest, but again, the rule still applies.
It's very easy to just reach into a chest, pick up armor, and equip it. You don't really need an appointee. place to go Actually put on your armor, you can do it yourself. Yes, you can probably do it yourself. Probably faster too. I hope you realize how heartbreaking this video is to make all my gadgets have been destroyed now. Fortunately, I feel pretty confident that, as I ran to say, it won't bother anyone because the source of people getting upset. About what I'm going to say was already left when I said that piston doors didn't make sense but here goes Farms now.
I'm not saying all farms are useless because most houses are not useless. I'm just saying that huge farms like the ones I have at my base right now are kind of useless down there. I have a storage system. with 36 double chests for each item my base is farming and all those chests are full. They are completely full of items, and have been for the last four or five months. I don't need 72 boxes of sugar cane. Or no one needs that much sugar cane, but this is what these farms are still running. They are still producing articles, and those articles still flow into the classification system, but then they are discarded. because they are producing too many items.
I don't have enough storage space for them. They are ridiculously efficient and over the top and some might say a bit useless. However, I still love them. I mean, this place looks great. We are approaching the height of futility now. The player throws TT. The bass player casts if I go all the way down here and press this button. This is starting to happen. He had completely forgotten how slow this machine is, but if he pressed f3. You can see this machine has launched at us, so it's 12,000 blocks, 15,000 blocks, I mean, I've done this a couple of times before continuing at this speed.
I assume this is the terminal velocity for Minecraft up to around 35,000 blocks in the sky, let's say 5,000 blocks now. This no longer makes sense because there will be nothing up here. It will just be empty, you can't build more than 255 blocks. But it's also useless because if we go into survival mode here and try it, it's pretty predictable what will happen, I mean, we won't do it. We're going somewhere, right? All that TNT just makes us explode, so this is a machine that sends us uselessly high into the sky, but only in creative mode, otherwise you just die, but ladies and gentlemen, I can take you to a level of uselessness higher than that.
Because when I press this button Right Here, we should see something magical start to happen, so first the floor is now opening up. And as you can see, a house is starting to emerge from beneath the ground now. This figure is ridiculously cool. And then we should also see, but still. There we go, we have a small bug infestation, but all those stone blocks have fallen away. We saw a very horrible sound. Imagine that we are going to move away, but here we go. The self-build structure is done and dusted. B is the deal. It's a single-use redstone contraption, so once you press that button, it pushes your house to the surface.
It is done. There is no way you can put this house back underground, and there is no way you can build another house somewhere else. using this red stone contraption. It is finished to complete. Now, if we take a look under the floor, you can see that. This is a pretty serious Redstone gadget. I mean, we've got a lot of piston action going on. We have all kinds of resources involved. This would be a serious build if you accepted it. Now let's do the math here. . I think it would probably be better to just build the house.
Yes, you'd better fill the house. Forget all this Redstone nonsense. He just builds the house and forgets it, so here we go. I guess that concludes today's Redstone video where I've come to the conclusion that all of my previous Redstone videos, Bob, maybe a small number of them have been completely and utterly useless. So tonight I'm going to go cry myself to sleep on my pillow. I hope you enjoyed this video, if so please. from that like button and if you really loved it make sure to subscribe but thanks for watching guys. This was stupid and I'm out.
See you later.
