sa Sampalok, original 40g. pack we also need water, fish sauce and ground black pepper here's the complete list of ingredients with their respective measurements if you're ready, let's start cooking! let's prepare first the pork leg let's boil the pork leg for the 1st time to remove scums and impurities the water for boiling will be discarded later put the pork leg in the pot and boil it see in the pork leg scums are floating and the dark bone marrow of pork is not good, so we need to remove that too continue boiling for 15 min. get a plate for the pork leg wash with running water to remove impurities discard the boiled water using new water, heat up and put here the washed pork leg this is the boiled then washed pork leg earlier so now we're sure it's clean add the pork leg in the pressure cooker then we will pressure cook it I'm using a pressure cooker to hasten the process add salt if you're not using pressure cooker, it'll take more time to cook, about 1 hour but in pressure cooker, it'll only take 12-15 min. My setting is 12 min...

only then it's ok after 12 min., remove pork leg from the pressure cooker don't pressure cook over 15min. because the meat will come off the bones. It wouldn't look that good then transfer to a regular cooking wide pot because my pressure cooker is smaller than my regular cooking pot. Adding the vegetables will not fit in the pot anymore but if you have a big pressure cooker, that's fine. You can cook it there include also the 2nd boiled water. Don't worry it's not as dirty as the first time add extra water because this is soup so we need more let it boil once liquid is boiling, add onion I'm using white onion, cut into wedges then add the taro it's good to cook the

first so it'll thicken the sauce as we cook boil for 15 min. cover the cooking pot and continue cooking after 15min. add the other ingredients here goes the ripe tomato place the bowl near the pot so it will not splatter when we transfer here's the Knorr Pork cube put the Knorr

will perfectly fit your taste then add the eggplant 1 piece of eggplant, cut diagonally here goes the lady finger then long green bean mix to distribute the vegetables in the pot then add the water spinach stem I separated the leaves from the stem cover the pot and cook for 5 min. after 5min., season with ground black pepper and fish sauce mix to blend the seasoning and we still have 1 more ingredient I'm referring to the water spinach leaves once water spinach leaves are placed, turn off heat cover the pot and let the residual heat cook the leaves 1-2min. then it's done then transfer to a serving bowl and let's serve here's our Sour Soup Pork Leg with Taro come, let's eat mmm~ it's sour and delicious ahh~ it's sour, it's perfect delicious, that's why I love this type of sour soup in tamarind and the soup is so meaty, delicious! mmm~ you know what? I'm going out of my mind when I eat this because my focus all goes here. So sorry guys because while sipping the sour soup after trying, I keep on trying and trying until I finish it that what happens when I eat sour soup. Plus what kind of meat we use, our dish is pork leg fully tenderized so we can fully enjoy it that's why we used pressure cooker if we did not pressure cook the pork leg, it will not be as tender as fall-of-the-bone we can cook it in a slow cooker to make it fall-off-the-bone but it will really take a lot of time so if you have pressure cooker at home, take advantage of...
