What you have to do is remove this little sticker here and if you have really hot running water on the faucet, like I do, it will only take you about a minute or not even run it over there and then you can literally just take your fingernail and just rub this all over and the glue will come off very, very easily if you don't have very hot water, go ahead and just boil your kettle or something and pour it in there and like I said, this will just come off. So I was able to remove those stickers completely and while I was doing that I also removed the ones on the bottom so now we can go ahead and put our cute little snowman face on our candle and to do that, you can do that.

There are a few different ways, but I prefer to use these permanent markers. I have some markers that work great and you can get them in different colors so I'll probably use the orange one for the nose and then the Dollar Tree photo is also sold for an occasion, sometimes the white one is very hard to find but you can find these little paint pens work great for this too. Now, if you don't have permanent markers, you can use them. a little bit of acrylic paint Dollar Tree sells that and a little brush and a little bit of a steady hand and you can paint your little face right on the candle, but I happen to have these little molds and this definitely makes this job a lot easier now.

You just have to decide which and what part of the sail you want to be the front because some of them as you know are better and prettier than others so this one isn't that bad so I'll move on. I'm going to take my black marker and I find that I don't want to go too low from the top and I don't want to make the eyes too big, but again, you can look for some inspiration, you know, just. of looking for snowman faces and you may find someone you can get really fancy with this. I'm going to keep this really super

simple

and I found that just little eyes and simple little dots for the mouth, that's what I like the most. but of course, do whatever you want, so like I said, you can look for inspiration first on Pinterest or you can even Google it, so I'll make a couple of pretty small circles and fill them in. again like I said you can use paint and a brush to do this and it doesn't have to be perfect that's the idea about homemade things there is no perfection so that's okay so I have two small ones of similar size. eyes here and the next thing I'm going to put is a little nose again.

You could use some acrylic paint for this and again you can make your nose go in any direction you want. I've been going like this, you can see that. Now I find that this permanent marker I have to do almost a couple different passes with it just because it's not very dark and before I found this orange marker I was using acrylic paint and it actually worked a little better, it was darker. again, just use what you have on hand. I just go over it a few times here to get my little nose in place now and the last thing you can see is how quick and easy they come together, holy cow.
I'm going to put some little dots here for the mouth again. I think the smaller ones tend to look better, but again, everyone's preferences are different. There we go, very nice. Hey, it is that simple. I'm going to let this dry and then I'll do it. Come back and I'll put a little white dot for the center of the eyes, so while that's drying, now we can dress up our little snowman a little bit. Dollar Tree had these adorable and cute scarves here, too. A long time ago when I saw this I thought it would be perfect for Valentine's Day so I'm so glad I picked it up when I saw it because they're not there anymore and then for Christmas I also found these infinity scarves with the check Buffalo and I also have this one here and I've already used them and that's what I used for my little Christmas themed snowman candles so today I'm going to go ahead and cut a little strip here no there's there's a lot of material here , you can get quite a few small scarves for your snowman.
I'm going to cut this little wool fringe here at the bottom, we don't need it, so I just cut a long strip here, it's about what I don't know an inch and a half wide and I had already previously measured just to see how much material I was going to need to go around my little snowman and it's just a matter of literally tying him to your snowman. I mean, it couldn't be easier than that. Now I'm going to show you how to make it a little bit fancier so that it looks like it has a little bangs, I just take a very sharp pair. of scissors and just take your end and make some little thin cuts here quite long so it looks like a little bang, just be very careful not to cut yourself with the sharp scissors and then just flip it over and do the same thing. on the other side here just like that and then now you have a little scarf that has like these little fringes on the end so when you tie it around your little snowman it looks a little bit cuter now you can get really fancy here and make Make it a little longer and tie your tie and scarf a little differently.
If you want, you can leave one end a little longer than the other. It's really up to you how you want to do it, but look, how cute it is. We've already done it, we haven't decorated it yet other than putting a little scarf on it, isn't it so cute? Now we can go ahead and beautify our little snowman, that's the fun part, so I put out an assortment. Of all kinds of things I put in my stash, a lot of the things came from Dollar Tree, of course, where else would they come from? Right now they are selling these really cute little pieces, like wood cutouts, so I get them for Christmas.
I picked up these adorable little wooden gloves that were on these little clips and thought they might be cute to somehow incorporate them in there. Dollar Tree was also selling these really cute little snowflakes. I bought them a long time ago at Dollarama, they're really pretty pretty too. I mean, like I said, just go to your stash and try to find whatever you have. I have some baker's twine. I have some little heart gems here. They work very well. I also have some like little flowers. I just go and raid your stash. I'm sure you have something you can decorate your little ones with and then I also have a variety of snowflakes and other things.
I really like these little wood damages, yes, the sky is the limit, really, really. es and then if you want to put some kind of sign or label or something like that, you can also pick them up everywhere or you can even make your own, it's not hard to do too, these white ones look nice. I also like the cute ones made of craft paper, these are a little big for this small project, but I also found these. I've had them in my stash for a long time, Cole. I think I bought them at a stationery store, probably basic products.
So you get 50 of these, they're actually little key tags and they're actually the perfect size for this little project, so I would just remove this little metal part and I think I'll use one of these. It'll be fine and then we can write whatever we want here, as far as I know the Valentine's type of theme is like that so let's go ahead and I'm going to improvise this and see what we come up with so I've decided I want to use these small gloves. I thought about using the red ones, but I think they get lost.
There's already too much darkness here, so I think I'm going to use this kind of gold. bronze, you kind of colored here once, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to take a butter knife and I'm going to remove this little clothespin from the back, there we go, so there's one, so now we have our two little gloves. and I'm going to attach a little glove with some of this baker's twine, I just put a little glue here on the back, hold my twine there and I thought this would look like, you know, like little kids when they have their gloves wrapped around their neck so they don't lose their parts tied to a small rope.
I think this will look really nice, so I'm going to estimate how much of this we're going to need. just go ahead and tie this right in oh my gosh yeah that's going to look really cute so I'm going to leave the other side pretty much the same so there we go that looks really cute the only problem is of course that same thumb here whatever it is. I'm not going to obsess over it too much and I don't think I need much more. I could just put in some little buttons, you know, most snowmen have little buttons here on the front, so maybe let's just put in some of the ones there now could use real buttons.
Dollar Tree actually sells all kinds of colored buttons, but I think I'm going to use these little red ones, either these or maybe these little wooden hearts might look cute, no. They're very close to the same color as my gloves here, so I think I'm going to use the little red button, so there's our little snowman. I think it looks really cute and now it just needs a little sign, so I'm going to use one of these little key tags I have here. I'll just remove this little piece of metal, I don't need it, there we go and then I'll type something here and we'll put it right in. the side here somehow, so I decided to keep it simple.
I just put xoxo here and I have a little piece of my baker's twine that I'm going to use to attach this to my little snowman underneath all of this and hang it up. from one side here, so that's what we have. I think she's very pretty. The last thing I need to do is just put a little white dot on the eyes here to make them stand out a little bit better, so I'm just going. I use my little white dot paint pen and I'm just going to put a little dot, I don't need a big one, and again I go wherever to get inspiration for how big to make your little eyes, but I find that just putting them here in the corner It looks pretty good, so here we go, there's our little snowman candle.
I think it turned out very pretty. This would make a great little Valentine's gift or to put perhaps as a tiered tray or on your coffee station. I think it would be a really cute little addition so I hope it inspired you to make some of your own Valentine's Day candles and until next time, happy crafting and I'll see you next time, bye for now everyone.
