Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra vs. Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max | ComparisonFeb 19, 2020
it's the battle of the greats y'all the
iphone11 12 max we've got huge cameras huge batteries and huge screens let's dig in so let's look at the design first The iPhone 11 pro max has a classic iPhone look but with that 3 camera setup giving some people easy GPS I'm over it and grown to the color green so I like the look it's a bit thick but so is the
ultrathe rose gold camera hump is also significantly larger its pretty much a hunk that will keep your device off balance no matter what surface you place it on but it has that infinity screen of edge to edge with a small punch hole at the top instead of the notch on the iPhone 11 Pro plus we have Super AMOLED OS 20 ultra with Samsung's typical bold colors so it's a matter of preference here but I'm here with s20 in this round up and of course let's talk about those cameras it's got a huge hump on the s20 ultra and a nice sized one on the
iphone11 so max too but actually it's got a few more cameras on this one the iphone 11 pro goes With three 12-megapixel cameras for a normal ultra-wide and telephoto lens, while the s20 ultra starts with a 108-megapixel main lens the 48-megapixel telephoto and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle, so things have been improved hugely here and what it will allow you is something that the iPhone can't touch which is 10 times optical zoom and 100 times digital zoom so you might be wondering how that is. it's going to look you think it's going to be a bit blurry it's actually quite clear and the reason for this is something
samsungcalls space soon which is a hybrid between their AI digital stabilization and optical stabilization now including anti-roll an addition to side to side and top to bottom so what it's going to do is keep those cameras super steady with the cable taking those and really zoomed in on the shots and limit as much blur as possible which we haven't had though , the opportunity to test is still the night mode, which is a huge deal-breaker for me personally, since the iPhone 11 Pro max was one of my favorites when it comes to night mode last year on the team 20 at the time that Samsung's delay was becoming natural. and consistent shots with its night mode so we'll have to see how much it's improved with the s20 ultra overall the iphone 11 pro was my favorite camera of 2019 but with the kind of spec bump we're seeing on the s20 ultra it will be pretty tough for 2019 competitor to beat this new 20/20 device and of course we can't forget about performance so the s20 has a bit of an advantage here from the jumps because it includes 5g for both. millimeter wave and secondary sticks that will be their fastest possible 5g and most widely available sub 6 network the iPhone 11 pro max obviously doesn't have 5g yet but that doesn't count that yet iPhones are well known for their high benchmark speeds in paper and its smooth performance in the hand, so while the s20 ultra has its own top-of-the-line silicone, it's going to be a pretty close race between these two.
I'm going to give this a tie this round. Consider the price here where the iPhone 11 Pro max starts at $1,100, the Galaxy S Tony ultra starts at a whopping $1,400, so you're paying a pretty penny for that cutting-edge software and hardware and the new Galaxy is 20 ultra if it's worth it. We can't say yet, but based on initial impressions, it's pretty hard to go back to 2019 with the iPhone 11. Thanks for watching everyone.
