s 20 ultra. I love the fact that I feel like we've reached the In an era where we are more informed about smartphones, we were no longer arguing in the comments about clock speeds or benchmarks, as people felt in the past that that would lead to better performance or phones that had more megapixels as ideal for better photos, or would it? More Interesting Facts About,

The experience is good and bad, I mean, I expected more for $1400, but it doesn't mean it's bad, it's actually pretty much the same as what you get with the Galaxy Note. Send us a black box with no description around it and then you lift it up and see the phone front and center and like in the case of the Z Flip, the literature and some eject tools are on top below we have the 25 watt charger , since the 45 watts that this phone is capable of or are only available if you buy it. Separately there is no longer a USB to 2 USBC adapter as the included cable is now USB C on both ends and last but not least the infamous pair of AKG well tuned 2 USB C headphones, let's remove this plastic and please don't judge me, but the screen protector also comes off as we move into the initial setup.

This is pretty much the same experience we covered with the Z flip. You start with the typical Bigsby greeting and everything except the terms of service, then you connect to Wi-Fi and then I love that the phone immediately jumps to the smart switch. I learned my lesson with the twist. I did the exact same thing and restored this phone over Wi-Fi as it was clearly asked to be incredibly fast like using cable and I think it was even faster. With this phone, given its internals, you then do your typical Google setup, your Samsung setup, then set your password, add your fingerprint if that's your game, and after all, you're taken to the home screen , which takes a while to complete. restore, but then you have the advantage that if you come from another

galaxy

you want to keep your home screen as it was.

Smart Switch will give you that too, if you choose the option, I think the most important fact about this phone is the moment you pick it up. for the first time is that it's big, I mean ultra big, think of it like a Galaxy Note 10 and it added curves in the corners and I'm not necessarily a fan of the color options. I mean, I know this cosmic gray is available in batches. of cars nowadays, but at least that handles fingerprints better, obviously there are reasons for the size and it starts with the internal parts. At the time of this video, there is no other more powerful smartphone on the market.
We have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and our unit is 12 gigs of ram 128 gigs of expandable storage Wi-Fi 6 Bluetooth 5 IP 68 watering this resistance and the largest battery I have ever tested in a phone at 5,000 milliamp hours, so I attribute this thickness to which the battery technology has not really evolved to miniaturize as quickly as other technologies and why such a large battery, this phone is actually capable of 5g in both sub 6 waves and millimeter waves, and I have tested both, it is equally compatible with the low band option on t-mobile, which I tested it on the first day with Verizon's ultra-fast millimeter wave, which is what I have been using over the

weekend

and where I registered from one point one to a point six gigabits per second on the streets of Greenpoint. in Brooklyn, remember we are still doing LTE uploads so they are not as fast, you would think this would be a big hit to battery performance but actually my battery life has been fine and I ended the day with no less than 40 percent of a charge and keep in mind that all of this happened while using this display at 120 Hertz.
I mean, last year I didn't really notice much difference using phones at 90 Hertz, but 120 is a completely different ball game I've been using. This phone has been in that configuration since day one and it's hard for me to get back to six point nine inches diagonally. This second version of Samsung's Dynamic AMOLED is yet another reason why this phone goes to the extreme in providing one of the best viewing experiences you could ask for. because the bezels are almost gone and the double-shot speakers are just as loud and clear as a viola on the MANET bike, only this phone had a headphone jack.
The reason this screen spoils you is because it completely changes how you feel. a user interface, but have you ever thought that the animations were slow but still didn't want to turn them off? It just switches to 120 Hertz and yes, it's limited to Full HD plus, but you can't really tell the difference, so if you're like me and like the features a UI includes, like secure folders and edge menus, you still they are here even if border menus were included, while the border was actually reduced on this screen. Samsung's new diary replaces Bixby Home, which means that if you also disable Bixby on the power button, you'll finally have the ideal Galaxy and for those of you who joined me in complaining about the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner on the past, it feels a little faster and there's even feedback when it doesn't detect your fingerprints, although I wish it also included them when it does, there's also no getting around the fact that this is the biggest camera I've seen on a phone, I mean, it won't really wobble much on a table.
Due to its size, I am already concerned about the materials it is made of because there is nothing to protect it. This phone was definitely made to be used with a case in order to protect your investment and I think it is the best and most affordable option. I'm the kind of person who likes clear and sleek cases and the UV Style Series not only accomplishes that, but it's also available in several colors that can match your style and is also 15-foot drop certified. By Met Labs and those of you who want to go all out, the award-winning ub pro has outperformed all other cases in durability testing, adapts to harsh environments, includes a kickstand that works both vertically and horizontally, and, Best of all, it also includes a belt holster.
In fact, I have not seen a more complete solution for the price of both options. I highly recommend you try subcase. They are actually giving away a galaxy s 20 ultra. Make sure to follow the link below in the description and also enter. Promo code pocket will now give you some extra bonus entries at the beginning. I debated why this hump was so big. I mean, sure, the main camera is 108 megapixels and includes Nonna binning and everything, but the sensor alone is bigger than the one on the p30 Pro it's actually smaller than the main one on the Oppo RINO with 10x zoom, which doesn't have a camera hump, as it turns out the 48-megapixel telephoto camera is the cause, as the die is actually larger than the one included in the 108-megapixel main, I mean, this phone isn't even playing with the ultrawide with larger microns or at least identical to those included in the main cameras of other flagships.
Is photography changing? I mean, the brighter the day, the more I like the photos. The dynamic range is very well adjusted and the saturation is not exaggerated. I would even say this is the most subtle photo I've ever seen of a galaxy, as it fades in on the day I noticed a bit more contrast and sharpness than I'd seen before. I like it, but this doesn't mean it's bad. Here's the thing: switch to the ultra wide angle or switch to any of the zoom options up to 5x and expect almost the same results. I mean, try it, see in the past because all other smartphone manufacturers were focused on providing high-end chips for the primary sensor and making the other two cheaper, the result of these others would be good, but not great.
It's a different story here, I mean I can assure you that I have never been able to rely on the ultra wide angle or telephoto lens in low light and I can't believe I'm going to say this but the ultra is incredibly good in most situations. cases now, once you get to 10x, you'll notice the photo starting. getting softer and even if night shots are still usable the lights can be against you in certain situations with bleeding everywhere and sure I see a hundred X's on the camera hump but that's just bragging rights . I would call these binoculars more of a distance to get into things, but it's not really useful for camera shots and then if you keep looking at the spec sheet, even the selfie camera makes tons of smartphones look bad, but I wonder if the photos still need a little more adjustment, I mean.
It's not bad, but I notice more sharpness than I'd like, although it's still better than the soft mess you'd get from previous galaxies, even up to the Z flip. Then there is video, it's hard to believe that this phone can record 8k 24 frames per second and also helps you take full resolution photos while filming. Now you can't change focal lengths like you do, but having the flexibility along with good stabilization is really hard to believe and that stable video also remains at 4k in ultra wide and standard mode. but I don't understand why this phone defaults to 5x when you press the telephoto lens as all stabilization is lost.
I think it's just a bad move to force users to jump to 5x here and also in photos, but I hope it gets fixed with a software update. And man, look at the 4k selfie, civilization is like a gimbal and the dynamic range this camera provides is just fantastic. I even love the fact that you can start recording video with the main camera and then switch to selfie without stopping the video, which is great for locking. I'll definitely have to report back on more impressions as I continue testing this phone to conclude. I think you may have noticed by now that I am overly satisfied with my initial impressions and comments of the galaxy. s 20 ultra and that wasn't really immediate, I actually grew to like it over time.
I told a colleague on the phone today that this is probably the ugliest phone I've ever liked and from the front I'm sure it's a gorgeous phone. but it has a back that only a mother could love and really the only reason it started to grow on me was the moment I started using it and understood the purpose of this back. I mean, in the past no one complained about that Oreo on the Lumia 1020. because there was nothing like it and that is practically the case with the galaxy s 20 ultra. I mean, you can think all you want that this phone is late to the periscope camera battle or the more megapixel battle, but in reality this phone is more of a leap forward, it's surely based on those ideas, but the company has really perfected the execution.
I still need more time to test this phone to give you my final impressions, but so far so great, tell us what you want us to test. comments below and while you're at it, follow me on social media, subscribe to our channel for more videos like this, also follow me on my personal handles to see me test this phone in the real world.
