Rudy Farias update: Teen who went missing 8 years ago in north Houston found 'in bad shape'

to the neighborhood where Farias was last seen near Tidwell and Park Drive. He talked to family members about how he's doing. Family members tell me that Rudy Faris is in bad

shape

right now, but we are grateful to finally have him back home and now that he has been found there are many questions about where he has been for the past eight years.

The search for Rudy Faris, 17, has now ended eight years after he was last seen when he is now 25 years old. The old man's family says they found him safe and sound, how did this happen? Oh, we believe in miracles and this certainly was a miracle. Tim Miller is director of Texas Aquasearch. He is one of several people who helped search everywhere for Ferius. I can't even. tell you how many times we've searched and how many tips and clues came in and then they just faded away and we didn't hear anything and now all of a sudden investigators say he disappeared in March of 2015.

He was last seen walking. The two dogs of his, the dogs were found, but Ferris was not there at the time. His loved ones said he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and asthma. I'm scared because he's alone with his Miller says they followed every piece of advice from the beginning. We met with a family and detectives near his house where he disappeared and found a backpack that we actually talked to. Someone had one of the catering trucks and he felt like he was seen and stuff. So there were different possible sightings in different places. Miller says that he never would have imagined that Ferius was still alive.

I think now you know there are a lot of questions. There is a lot of research to see what happened, where it happened, how it happened again. There are still many questions about how he disappeared and. His loved ones say Rudy Ferius is still in the hospital at this time, but again we are working to find more answers to these questions and will keep you
