airsoft

now for some of you who have really followed it . The progression of this rifle over the last year or two, some of the external features will look very familiar to me and that's because they've been here for quite a while.

I'm a big proponent of if it

works

for me and it's not broken. I won't fix it in terms of accessories now. I like to experiment, so the things you've seen here in long-term use are, in my opinion, the best for my use and that comes through lots and lots of testing experience, so keep that in mind, while I go over his stuff, we'll go over these external features, some of the new tools I have implemented and we'll also take a look at the parts list that makes the inside of this rifle such a beast and that's actually what my friend Ziming o the

More Interesting Facts About,

robo airsoft robo gear review z custom airsoft works ztw m4...

He is now widely regarded in my local area as one of the best airsoft technicians on the market, if not the best. The guy is literally a magician when it comes to it. to airsoft technology so with that being said let's get to the meat of this review and then I'll do a quick performance test so you can see the result of XIV's work so starting from the beginning we have a pts mark 18 suppressor essentially It is a reproduction AAC m4mm suppressor. Now, these are not the old pts AAC brand ones, these are just the ones they had left over with no brands and they have marketed them as a pts product. it's obviously a quick disassembly just like the AAC suppressor is so literally just a screw and it reveals again sort of the AAC front end in terms of a flash hider in terms of my actual rail system itself these are the arms Centurion pts.

Twelve and a half inch CMR rail. I love this rail, it's minimalist, it's a small diameter so it's great for controlling the front end, no matter upfront, in terms of my lighting tools. I'm using a wml on four, now just behind it I've mounted a Steiner Laser or Defense Devices, oh maybe, and this is the IR version. What a note, it is actually an offset tactical aiming laser and what that means is that it is offset from the bore so that the laser can pass the front sight post, which I still use co-witness with my optic now it's the IR variant because it doesn't I don't need or use a aiming laser during the day, which means I don't need a visible laser.

I am using an IR laser along with my pvs. -14 night vision monoculars for night operations now in terms of forward grip. I still use a polymer enhanced pts for grip. Now this is the short version. For the most part, when I use this tool, I use it more as a manual stop, but. I still like a foregrip in case I need to modify that grip for odd shooting angles and now return it to the receiver assembly. My upper receiver is a reproduction of the G&P volt or the modular upper receiver or the mur one upper receiver.
I love the geometry of this so that's why I use it now the lower receiver is just a classic LMT or Lewis machine and tool lower receiver. Now the charging handle I'm using is a reproduction Raptor charging handle, which is a non-functioning ambidextrous charging handle. anything for an aeg, not really in terms of my gun, just remove the dummy bolt to give me access to my jump unit. The pistol grip is a PTS upgraded polymer grip. Now the chargers I am using are the e PM. pts mags or the improved polymer mags now, although they do have some feeding issues when you fill them if you don't suck them all the way through.
I found them to be extremely reliable magazines for you, plus high quality polymer that you can't go wrong with. which now in terms of fire selector, I'm actually using the pts licensed bad fire selector or the battle weapons development fire selector when you buy the kit it comes with several different types of levers. Mine, I only have a full size lever here. nice and sharp and it's a nice positive compromise when I use it now in terms of optics setup, this can change from event to event depending on how I'm feeling now, what I've set up here is generally how I'll run now, in terms of the optics itself, I am using a t1 type magnification, it is actually made by primary weapons, it is an entry level firearms optic that is actually the perfect price for its quality to use in airsoft, now with an optic similar to 81, gives you the same kind of performance, it's a microdot system, it's a simple red dot design and I have it mounted on a Samson made Ram mount, which interestingly enough almost costs as much as the optic itself, That said, it is still compared to playback optics. much higher quality, much more battery efficient, and again, there is literally no reason not to jump to an entry level firearms optic at this price instead of going with a reproduction.
Now, speaking of reproductions, this is a reproduction of an EOTech g-33 magnifying glass. it's a side twist mechanism in terms of turning the magnification on and off and it's a 3x now I use it often outdoors yes, indoors not so much because I don't really need much magnification now in terms of magnification and airsoft anyway You still don't need much, you just need enough to confirm where your BBs are hitting due to the distances we are shooting, but for all intensive purposes this is a great addition to align with the red dot sight. For further confirmation purposes, when moving rearward, I use a Magpul ASAP sling mount which gives me excellent ambidextrous use of my sling.
I actually use a Magpul ms3 sling with this so it allows me to shoot left handed without getting tied up in transition and to the right. To the rear I am using a Magpul CTR stock with extended or improved buttplate. I found this to be the most comfortable stock to use in terms of long-term play. Is efficient. Works. It looks sexy enough to me. At work now, obviously we are talking about airsoft, so appearance plays a very important role in our sport because it is part of the creative aspect that we can modify to create a unique personality or a unique gaming experience for us, now let's take that to a limited degree.
I urge many of you that when you think about the exterior construction of your gun, think about what it is like for you and I don't just mean the look, but your gameplay, how can the devices you connect? to this weapon improve your gaming capabilities now along with that keep in mind how the dynamics of using your weapon changes based on where and how much you put your weapon think about how the weight distribution changes how the total weight of the weapon itself will change They affect your gameplay over longer periods of time and lead you to consider which different optic combinations or different optic utilities will help you or which will detract from your overall skill level while deploying the weapon, whereas airsoft is mostly about doing make it look great.
It also affects how well you do the game, so keep that in mind when you think about these things, so with all the cool external stuff taken care of, let's get down to the nitty-gritty of what makes custom airsoft building easier. The best thing since bread when it comes to airsoft, at least here in Canada, now the barrel itself is a Prometheus, for example, a stainless steel barrel 6.03 millimeters in diameter, now has a length of 363 millimeters or an inner barrel of m4 length and is combined with a professional. gain hop-up four m4 s and then use a vfc jump rubber which has actually been our modified jump on the unit itself.
Now a couple of things are done in terms of labor to improve the barrel group itself, which is the jump. above it has been shimmed to the barrel and the jump rubber has been strapped to the barrel just to improve air seal performance and a quick mention before we get into the part of the

gear

box I'm using for a fire control unit , a Blacktown concept or a BTC spectrum MOSFET now in my experience the BTC spectrum is the best fire control unit or MOSFET you can install in an aeg. The only problem is that it is extremely rare because BTC makes them in such low lots now if you can get one.
It's absolutely incredible so stay tuned so now let's get into the drive system of this laser beam and where most of this work was done on an AEG platform, your

gear

box will pretty much be the heart and soul of it. that drives performance yes the Barrow groupset matters yes the air seal matters all that fun stuff but most of the work will be done on an AEG gearbox and let me tell you what Z does there is a reason why We affectionately call his work ZT WS the end. Z's product literally rivals Systema's in quality and reliability, so instead of by the way we call it the ZT w and anyone who has a Z custom airsoft, worked gun, knows a lot about what I'm talking about, so let's review The list of parts that went into this bad boy that turns it into a laser beam, so I'm going to cover a quick list of everything that went into this gearbox, that way if you're a tech somewhere else of the world and you've been I'm looking for the right combination of parts to create some kind of beast or maybe you're a player who's interested in Z's work and want to replicate what he's done with my weapon, so in terms of the quick summary from the parts list in terms.
For the gears we are using four to one ratio DSG gears from Siege Tech ten point four as well as a Siege Tech pinion for the engine we are using a Tenley you 30k engine a Lonex Sorbo cylinder head and neo pad combo mouthpiece lonex sh s plate of pusher sh s piston piston head lonex a z CI full cylinder steel ilanic eight millimeter steel bushing set modify wedge set a m120 grass ax spring and modify the rotating spring guide now a couple more things that have been included i.e. the bushings themselves are glue Also the piston rack is glued just for stability over time and now the other thing too is that the gears and the cylinder itself have been short stroke with three teeth, so it's a complete list of the parts that have been placed inside this gun basically giving me the performance that supports my physical game now for many of you who have been following my youtube channel for a long time than my old build she was very whiny and pretty standard and honestly I hit a wall. at one point my performance, my physical game was up here and what I expected from my airsoft gun was also up here but what I was getting was down here, now Z has completely changed that idea for me in terms of where I expect it to go. the performance of an AEG supports my physical playstyle.
There was a time in airsoft for me where I basically shrugged my shoulders and said well, it's airsoft, I can't push too hard and I've been taught a different way. Lesson: I can absolutely demand a lot more from this gun and even more and more importantly. I think instead of demanding performance from it, I don't really need to think about performance and that's the most important one. I'm not actually questioning whether this will work or perform up to your standards when it comes time to pull the trigger, so it's one of those things that I firmly believe today that it's much better to buy fewer airsoft guns. and put more money into them. fewer airsoft guns to bring them up to par in performance rather than relying on, you know, four to six different backup guns, so with all that talk out of the way, let's do a little demo of what this baby does now , this will not be a test of accuracy.
For you, anyway, I'm just in my studio, so it's more about the sights, the sound and the performance of this, the gun itself, and you'll just have to take my word for it, this thing is a laser beam of 200. at 300 feet absolutely no problem every time, which again reflects my American made Oppenheimer airsoft gun, which you guys have heard of and I'll be reviewing at SHOT Show this year, so keep an eye out for that too, that being said . Let's get to it, so while I'm by no means a full-time milsim event person, I'm generally strictly semi-only based on the rulesets for the events I attend, let's change it to full-time on the benches here to show.
How amazing is the performance of a ztw build. With that said let's get down to it, yes it's crazy so there you have it, there's my custom Z buildfrom airsoft ZT wm4, like I said, many of you recognize the external parts there. There have been a few things that have changed over the last year, but the real change that really matters is the interior, which my friends basically turn this into the Ferrari of aegs. Yes, Systema exists, yes, the very high quality, but for those of you. For those of you who don't want to make the jump to Systema, just know that with the right tech in your back pocket you can get very close to Systema quality and performance from an AEG by investing the right amount of money in a skilled tech job, so With that said, if you're thinking about including a high-performance airsoft gun in your mix, check out custom airsoft technology services like Z custom airsoft or Oppenheimer airsoft in the United States again.
